main events the main events the main event of the pro card the main event of the amateur card doesn't get much better than that b no no this is a big one Lads welcome to the show absolutely absolutely uh we'll start with yourself uh Nathan Nathan what was it like when you found out you're going to be headlin in pfl's open that must been a dream come true yeah it was nice it was a good surprise for me cuz I know it was initially call man I think so I didn't really think anything of it you know I mean I was happy even initially with me with me for uh spot like I I didn't really think too much into it and then I just seen then on Instagram they updated it and I was the the main so yeah know I was happy but it was I I kind of like to have the uh the pressure on me and I like to be in in kind of hot seats where it's make our break and you know what I mean it all comes down to the composure and and and fight IQ and just just being being the best he can be in the night considering the circumstances of pressure so I feel like I shine under the under the lights when it's when it's when it's hottest in there so I just I just wanted to get another opportunity to open another door and I think now that I'm at to getting the opportunity main card slot in Dublin you know the kind of pressures on me to close out the show in a big or in a nice fashion so I'm going to make sure that I do that cuz obviously they've been giving me a lot of um good opportunities pfl so and I feel like every time I've risen the occasion so it's just G to be just another one that I'm going to make sure to grab with two hands and and really really uh capitalize on so I'm chuffed and yeah I just can't wait to close out the the the card and store yeah 100% can't wait for it it's going to be an Absolut epic one uh and then Nate what about yourself uh I think you're the first uh ever amateur to fight for pfl that's going to be pretty uh huge and then in the three Arena on a massive stage like that um if you if you look back what you know a lot of the world were probably introduced you at that Conor McGregor press conference but obviously as you said at the that press conference you'd accomplished a lot already then do you feel like you're buil for this stage yeah I feel like H the trajectory that was on after that press conference that was always H destined to be in moments like this what I mean where even though I'm so early on in my career but it's just I've had the eye balls on me since I'm a kid so I always felt like that the trajectory that I was on the path that I was on after that um I feel like that was always going to lead me to A Moment Like This and it's good that a lot of people are only kind of uh like they're they're saying I kid from the press conference and they haven't seen much of me capabilities and stuff inside the cage so it's a huge platform for me to be able to show what it can do inside the cage and not just outside so that's what I'm most excited for as to have such a big opportunity to go in there and showcase my skills and kind of like step step away from that uh step away from that Spotlight maybe and let people know that I'm a serious mix martial artist and I'm here I'm here to take over yeah Nate Nate what what's it like looking at them uh videos of yourself being the kid just saying all that stuff to Dana and like just all the other stuff that the pfl are pumping out like like what's that like it's a bit mad actually I haven't watched them videos in years like this yeah that's what I was thinking yeah yeah yeah this the first time that I watched them videos in a good few years so and it was eight years ago now so I don't even really remember back then like looking back in it now like the memory isn't like big in me head like but looking back in the videos and the videos when I was a kid it's just a new memory to look back on like J in to see how far I've came in such a short amount of time even though it feels like a long time it is really only a short amount of time like in this game so it's h it's just exciting and it's it's it's fun to watch the videos and to look back on how far it came and find memories in them yeah yeah we were out that press conference as well Ross weren't we yeah we were it was wild like I don't think I'll ever forget McGregor taking the belt off Al though I think that was the funniest things I've ever seen in my entire life yeah just just can't be can't be emulated that press conference it was it was so Rus like I remember uh obviously put out a clip of that um there today which I know which is Monday and uh like the the ruptions when I went back and watched that press conference one of the loudest press conference I've ever seen entire life it it was absolute you sure at times you were like shushing the crowd uh and like fair play you had the crowd the pal your hand uh at the press conference and hopefully you'll have the pal or the crowd the pal your hand come fight night or at least I assume that's the plan anyway yeah 100% that's I think I got up on the mic I was like second let me speak here for a second I think think I'm a bit of a show man so I'm ready to show the skills in the cage and the point of performance and showcase abilities and put on a show that's that's what I'm coming to do on December H talk yeah there was another thing the way online for people that actually weren't aware like obviously the two Lads are called Nate and Kelly and people were showing Nate when he was when he was younger talking to Dana and then they were like look where he is now and showing Nathan so so like it's AB hilarious crack yeah I think there's always been a bit of a mixup because the name's bleeding the exact same so it's always a bit of a mixup that's why we have to do the Nathan Kelly special show R absolutely Nathan tell us this is Nate Al talk or how good are those skills ah N N's very complete he is yeah he he has the kickboxing pedigree and I think when Do's a change off from well I'm saying he has a kickboxing pedre but how long he's been do jiujitsu in MMA since as long as I can remember I remember competing at you know the the tournament as a kid and he was killing it and he used to compete against some of my students as well and he's been around the game a long time like you know what I mean and now he's getting his platform to show his skills on a on a more of a kind of an international stage and you know like like n said he's been working hard over the last 10 odd years you know what I mean and yeah he's he's ready he's 100% ready and he he has the the right team the right family everything that that makes that can make someone successful you know what I mean he he has all the all the the people in around that he needs to have and yeah it's just up there it's up them to do the job in the night but no doubts there 100% yeah wait see you yeah Nathan you're obviously not overlooking Demetri right but like what what the sort of have you talked to pfl of what they plan to do with you in 2024 because OB being the main event the main event of this show is H is huge for you no I haven't haven't spoked anything anyone about us already yet um I just want to get this one out of the way for us before I start start making plans for anything else I can only do what what I can and beat the man who's in front of me now so I don't like to think too far ahead I only look to look forward at what I what I can do and what I can see so for now like yeah I'm not even I'm not overlooking to he's going to be awkward he's kind of a lanky French fell so you know what I mean that's that's an awkward St to fight um but I'm preparing I'm preparing for for a long lanky kind of awkward person so look all I can do on the night is win and then see what doors open for me you know what I mean obviously I'm going to have to have a little bit of room to negotiate and see what's going on but like I still have one more fight left on this contract after this one so whether they wanted me to fight it out or or Ren renegotiate renegotiate a new one and for for next year then I don't know but I I just want to get this one out of the way force and then I'll then I'll start looking at what's next cuz um yeah I can just move one step at a time really it's it's it's it's going to be too hard to to to move anywhere else you know what I mean so just beat this lad and see what doors open yeah Russ Nathan will look great with a million dollar check wouldn't you yeah he absolutely would you know what I mean bring bring that million million dollar check back to the fingers wouldn't be too bad I don't that's safe I that's bring that back the fingers I might [ __ ] cause B in the future you know I mean but H like look next year boys if if they TR me into the season I'm confident and and I train hard enough to be able to withand whatever they give me you know what I mean it just depends on whether they want to give me that straight off the bat but like I said I think fighting on the headline event and Dublin and it's the biggest the end of the seon you know you know yourself all the kind of stars are lying for me to to kind of jump straight from one to the other so if I I out and perform in a certain way and put this lad out in a certain way and you know what I mean they got [ __ ] right he is he is he's had been in the highest pressure situation we could have given him at this point in his career so he might thrw me in so I don't know I don't know but like I said beat this lad see what happens now obviously you've seen some iconic people make that walk in the three Arena from Conor McGregor Peter quy so on and so forth um you've been there in person him would how many times have you envisioned making that walk yourself and what do you feel like it's going to be like to make that walk with everyone cheering for you on the night yeah I've envisioned this so many times that's what I I was talking about like that how many times with imagine myself in these big moments and imagine myself fighting in the Tre Arena that almost it's like it feels like it's happened before it feels like I've been in this position before like I've I feel like I've manifested this moment to to come to reality like that I've been in the arena so many times watching the fights and I've imagin myself walking out imagine myself being there in fight week imagine myself fighting in the Octagon I've already imagined it all and I've uh I've already taught what the feelings would be like and how it feel in there and it it doesn't feel like I know really because how many times of of like picture that how many times I've felt it before and I just can't wait like it's going to be a huge stage I have huge crowd coming out to support me and um I'm just buzzing to get in there on such a big stage and showcase me abiles I can't wait yeah I can't I can't wait for the the fans to start Chan there's only two n Kelly sister was like I'm GNA shout there only two n k you need to get that g because that's that's hear you know mean that's what the fans want to hear yeah you here first Nate do you feel like fighting on a big stage like this is going to put you on a put your amateur career uh on a trajectory that it will finish early and you'll go pro earlier or would you not be phased by something like that uh I don't know I'm just going to have to see what happens um I feel like they're hype for this fight and they Le build up behind it it's like a pro fight and anyways like people talk about learning I'm all but I know if this doesn't go me way I'm going to get rid of killed I'm R all over the place like the pro is do so I feel like the buildup and the hypee and everything around this fight it's almost like it is a proud fight so I'd like to get um a few more with the pfl next year as well on the European series and uh just keep building and just see where we go see how the improvements are how the progress is how it feel in there and just take a by fight by fight and see where we end up yeah are you are you surprised to get an opportunity like this night so already in your amateur career I know you've you've done martial arts like for so long but like this is this is a big stage you know great Point name great H I'm never surprised that any opportunity like this I mean like it's as I said it feels feels natural like I know I know what I'm capable of I know the type of person I am I know what I'm build for and these moments is what I'm build for and I'm ready to take it all take it all in and to showas my abilities on the biggest stage possible this is what I'm made for and I'm ready to show people that I'm a superstar I mean that was quality man that was qual yeah I love it I love it uh I'm going to ask both actually cuz uh obviously this card is quite stack from top to bottom like like all the fights are like really high level they did great job in matchmaking besides either of the two Nathan Kelly fights which fight are you looking forward tomor so start with yourself Nathan um obviously France France is Team out mind so against K next team you train what for the world that's that's an exciting fight so I want to see that and John Mitchell as well is a good friend of mine so I'm going to be roting for him on the night as well so well obviously I'm not gonna really be able to see it because I got be backstage but um I'm gonna be rooting for John then obviously Valentine is fighting and the she's another team so obviously I want to be seeing H win and I like leis mcgillin as well I think he's he's a good fighter and uh he he he's had that little mad little angry arish heading him you know I mean he's halfish so uh yeah I'm looking forward to seeing him as well um yeah just man the whole card is bleeding jamers as lot it's a good it's it's they' be the main ones I'd be looking forward to anyway but um yeah obviously n see night as well obviously can't can't not can't not big up night here what he's in front of me but um yeah know just just uh I know how high level the card is so it's they'd be the main ones that I want to see obviously all my teammates and then obviously John and then Lewis I like Lewis's style he's real rootless and comes forward so um but but yeah ultimately they're going to have bangers of fights on the night regardless and and I'm I'm just hope the fans get on board and they understand how good of a night it's going to be because um you know on paper there's a lot of anxiety on the night obviously a lot finals coming on and some people fighting for um placement spots in next year's tournaments and global season so the emotions will be hard the anxiety will be high and you know mixing all that together along with some great fights are going to get a great night of fighting and um yeah that's what I'm really looking forward to seeing and it can uh be capped off at me then and stuff yeah I think one thing that is being underestimated and under under mentioned is uh when pfl um have given discount codes to the fighters and when you actually use the discount code for the tickets the tickets are like super reasonable I think they're like about 30 quid or so a pop like you won't really cheap yeah you you wouldn't actually get tickets to like a local show for that that price and you're going to be in three Arena seeing like top quality uh Fighters go toe toe and also like an absolute world class um level of uh platform as well to be given to these fighter so like I think anyone who's an MMA fan like this is like a serious cheap night out and like you know what it could be pe people's Lads Christmas night out as well like down to the Tre Arena watch watch The pfl Fray night like I think it's unbelievable chance for people to see that we have in this country and I think it's like at that price like it's more say like how could you not be at it I'm going are you yeah I'm definitely gone boys you then absolutely like get the early Christmas presents in and get what's it called get pfl tickets for bble and say that's your Christmas present you're getting early congratulations it's going to be an absolute Whopper night it was H like compared us to like for example just bringing into Bellar like my a lot of my family got rings so tickets for 56 quid like and a lot of them when I fought on Bellator paid 60 quid for the highest seat in the building like the back back T like the when Bellar opened the back there like they paid more money for the like the no bed seats and now that they're getting ringside for cheaper so I I just I been around drilling into everyone that like you won't get a night of MMA this cheap like with like it's it's it's it's it's super from 30 grade up to like what 80 990 CR are getting tickets for and they're all good seats regardless you know what I mean so uh yeah it's going to be it's going to be hopefully hopefully it's there's another s on ticket and they push it out and um and and it's and it's packed from the night because that's just going to make it more electric then you know what I mean yeah it's going to be interesting to see what pfl bring to the tree Arena as well just uh everything they do in the backr with promotion and stuff I think it's really really good so like they're obviously stacking the card as well like the the likes they're having over like um they're obviously put the MC grillins the dakot is just like the from the UK they're like really Tom Bree is they're bringing over as many big names as you possibly can and then obviously a stack with the orang forers as well but uh it does go down in dman tree Arena on Friday the eth of December lad do we send them your way to what's the discount code for both is Nathan and Nate mine's Nate and his is n so it's actually is actually who did that they should be fored Ross yeah Dan Hardy said Nathan was leading the ticket sales but maybe actually it was actually meant that Nate was leading the ticket sales who knows don't know it's all over the place oh stop just where wrap things up like what's the build up going to be like now um up until the Friday the8 like will you be doing more stuff for pfl CU I saw the two years doing something side by side um you going yet yeah I think I have a few few things leared up for this weekend anyways and then uh then I pfl haven't reach back out but I'm sure'll be playing flat out the week of it as well and yeah all the weeks coming up to it but been flat out the past few weeks down stuff so hopefully get everything checked off this week and next week and then we have the and chill out a bit before the fight but um that's the plan than is what about yourself I I I just racking out the hour podcasts or interviews all that stuff as you do normally leading up to the fight um pfl obviously do the fight week promotional stuff as well then so yeah like it's it's just it is what it is I do what I what I need to do when I can do it um ultimately just get the training in C cut down the weight that's more important than anything for for me the minute so obviously um sort out whatever mediate I can and then like nce said hopefully you can wind it up a little bit earlier and and focus on tonight but realistically I know it's it's not going to be round up really for me because because normally I'm F week I'm always doing I'm always doing things at pfl so but I'm used to it now so it doesn't really doesn't really F me really I don't really care it's just part of me job and I just see it as a part of the uh as a part of the terms and which I'm doing for fighting with them so um but yeah ultimately just rock out whatever Media stuff we can do and promote it as much as I can get some some nice uh footage in me me one of me sponsors motion Master is probably going to we're going to try do a little mini dock kind of Le from now up to the up to the event and he's going to be kind of coming around with me for week and stuff like that so we're going to try to get some footage and stuff like that kind of shout behind the scenes and stuff like that so that'll be nice when when it's all head and do and it's all that'd be a nice one to try push out and and give people a little different insight to what's going on so but yeah wouldn't that just make wait and [ __ ] knock some lad out you know I mean it's a tough life being the main event isn't it yeah yeah I wake up every morning and I Cry Just can't can't can't can't take all this stress on board much longer I'm only joking I'm only joking I'm only joking it's Lally this is living the dream boys literally this is what it's all about man this is what it's all about yeah you you you went from you went from fighting MSG then having to like slum it to headlight in the tree arena in Ireland you know what I mean like like yeah Lally literally living the dream like even two years ago obviously I don't like to look too far ahead but I never would have thought I'd be in this position really you know what I mean so now now that I'm in this position I'm really starting to feel me W and you know the fact that I'm bringing a big crowd and all that ja I'm really starting to feel like this the star power that I have in me that's starting to see that and you know it's only a matter of time before the skills come up a level where you know the whole world is seeing on a more of an international stage and that's what I'm looking forward to do I have obviously mtion Masters he been doing a lot of work with me lately and um really showing more more glimpses of Me game and and and really bringing up the profile so a lot of a lot of the the media that's been put out and a lot of the stuff that's been that's been kind of Raising Me profile has been to him and another sponsors the the dream has jumped on board for this for this fight they've been backing me since um me fight in Madison Square Garden so it's nice to have them on board on this and um I'd be deing a lot of promo work with them leading up and trying to trying to build build on their brand as well so always much appreciated there so thanks Wendy and then get L carpet is another loal car fitting company who's going to be getting behind me along with um main cleaning car washing so I'm really looking forward to performing on night and making sure that they would all PR for getting behind me so just want to say thanks to them for uh for jumping on board yet again Legend yeah hope one day we see Nate headline the tree Arena as
