it's fabian dear assassin edwards look at that smile it will brighten up a room fabian how are you doing i'm doing well i love that introduction you need to need to save that it's great to have mr tasty shots back in the show man i'm back i'm back i'm back he's back he's back for the bang he's back with a bang fabian let's get straight into it and how disappointed were you with the outcome to leon's fight over the weekend uh very disappointed very disappointed um we all stayed up i thought my mom's house you know we all had a family around and everything and he was doing so good in the first round you know started off strong put bill on the back foot um and some good strikes on him so to see ends like that was just so disappointing for him you know it's just been up just been up and down for him for the last two years so it was just it's just sad to see yeah like obviously we've had you on the show multiple times people probably think you've heard the show and we've also had it we had leon on the show as well so it's hard not to feel somewhat slightly like um i don't know if you say emotional as cracker but like you're just like you're emotionally invested in some sort of way and then like when you see that you're just like oh my god especially the way he's been out for so long and get back in and then the way he was meant to fight chamois which was the most talked about fight of the year and then like and then that happens and then it was just like where does he go now like oh yeah when that was like like obviously i was just brother like like was that the first thing you thought yeah you know it's like the first night for just like off like [ __ ] oh man i know i don't know how you felt like uh the way the way but it's right i've been punched in the eye i've been poked in there already all um but the way bilal went down i just watched myself the fight is finished when i get up get up i don't thought to myself i've never seen somebody fall down a grown man and cry instantly you know i mean like instantly cry from eye pokes i just thought myself this fight is finished so i just i just sat back on for uh [ __ ] but yeah where it goes from now i don't know i'll they've just bought the mouse to deal with my number two i don't see the i don't see the point it got dominating first fight but whatever um we're gonna be getting into that you know i mean but um yeah i think hopefully they'll give they give him iva burns or um kobe you know i mean something that's going to make sense yeah um first of all just to touch back on his performance well i actually thought and he was in the best physical shape i've ever seen him and he was absolutely shredded there was no he was by far in large the best shape of everything i mean and then you know his combinations are great he landed a massive head kick on baleen at one stage and you know bisping was able to receive on commentary and i was like i was like this is brilliant but uh one thing i will say is like that was one of the worst i poke injuries i've ever seen so uh i do feel bad for belial but um look leon definitely won the first round ten i know it was bad we're not disputing that the ipod was bad but the cry the tears after that was myself that's to be a little bit much for me personally i mean yeah maybe maybe he's maybe someone we start coldplay on in the background or something who are we to argue with fabian like he knows how it is to get in there you know so well the thing is me and basma are always team edwards but baleel actually looks a little bit like my brother so like i'm always like oh don't beat him up too bad yeah yeah we want them to still look like that but like like obviously fabian like in the build up to all that like i mean like the amount of um like promotion that was put into into leon since the japan fight was announced like uh from watching like his social media rise though the way like this chamois of train was just like blowing him up and he was getting like the knowledge like the notoriety that he like he fully deserved and everyone in the top five knows how dangerously honest like like he was finally getting that opportunity and like unfortunately i've had to pull out and like that like like who knows later on the line uh they might end up facing each other but like people were sort of overlooking the building they were just like right get in there get that win and like nobody could like everyone was looking forward to what he's gonna say in the mic after yeah i mean so like um obviously that's what happens that's the thing about this game you know i mean like you plan someone's going to become the cham champ one week and then they lose mcgregor's back and then he loses like it's such a it's such a crazy game you can't even simulate this [ __ ] can you well plasma who do you want to see leon point next for me you'll be um i have a burns or kobe you know i mean i don't like he just came in like we're all like everyone knows leon's on his own like trajectory and like how how like um how good he is all around and like the people that the top guys don't want to fight him they just don't like they don't want to sign and like um i saw leo muhammad was mentioned that like um him and him and leon should have coached the ultimate fighter maybe that's what he said that's what he said you know when you you might like the son over in vegas there like you know we've been doing a bit of power work with the lads you know well like yeah how was that you'd obviously be part of that camp if they did deal to a fighter like would you be a hundred percent against that it just doesn't make sense on it you know i mean like it wasn't like obviously i'm fortunate for what happened result but you could see from the start a guy that's used to pressuring people you know i mean that's his gay that's like built off you know i mean pressuring people against the cage and i like mixing up his strike to his down i wasn't able to do that and i mean and that was my brother just getting warmed up so it was only it was only going to get worse for the kid you know i mean so the fact that he for some reason he thought after getting wobbly with her head kicked and stuff like that he he should get all of these things this madness to me i can't ever see him being champion i can't you know i mean like he doesn't deserve that but my brother deserves to he's on an a5 winning streak he deserves kobe or burns that's going to put him all the title you know i mean obviously the title book top now but he doesn't want to wait around so you deserve one of those two guys to me it's it's actually clear quote but there's only one man he's your favorite i think is leon edwards versus colby covington and i'm going to tell you why um i think tell us gilbert burns just lost the oozman and it was quite a convincing loss to use them so a win over leon for him will put him right back in the toilet fight and no one wants to see guzman versus burns too as opposed to you do covington versus edwards and no matter who wins that fight people want to see that either the covenant in rematch against uh usman or they want to see edwards versus usman too and at the end of the day that's the fight to make if i were the ufc i'll try and get it booked asap as soon as possible and also if i was leon edwards i'd be staying ready and if mas vidal or if usman pull over that fight i'd be ready to step in i think he's got all the skills to get the job done either way yeah um that's um that doesn't make sense but you got kobe turning around after being woodley that was on like a two fight or a free fighter losing streak or whatever and thinking that he deserved a towel shot you know what i mean so a lot of these guys are willing to stay on the sideline and they don't want to they don't want to step in there they don't want to face my brother you know what i mean colby's very good at like rewriting history a bit you know like i mean his fight against us one was unbelievable and i like the heart that both men put into that was just uh what makes people love this game but uh like at the end of the day like that job just landed too many times broke that broke his jaw and then like we like we everyone saw it and not knew who the winner was you know like they were gonna back it's just a bit it's it would actually be a they were actually pretty better off running that fight back rather than the mastodon fight but like we all know like as much as everyone like likes well like obviously you i know that edward's family aren't big fans but like uh the way he sort of gets people really hyped and stuff and looking forward to seeing a fight like it's um it's like i think guzman's just gonna dominate again and then his uh stock will fall a good bit bullet there's another person that's also coming off a great win it's wonder boy wonder boy come over here as well obviously i think he broke both of those maybe he brought up that team mate i've seen him won a boy post he deserved a target shot and then like someone posted his record and out of like the last six or something i think it won about three fights or two i don't know you know i mean but he hasn't been consistent yeah i mean yeah they've been consistent man so it's like but at the end of the day whichever fight is in the game the title fight that's the fight you know i mean like whichever if it's wonderboy osman um kobe is just a fighter that's gonna get you my title fight i mean and that's it how would you get how do you get colby to sign that contract i think that's the fight we're all agreeing with here we all want to see that like i think he has to i think i think i think he does have a choice it's a normal contender fight leon hasn't lost in six years like six years is a very very long time and i think colby should be like either use something to fight him or burns or wonder boy will start fighting for the minimum ownership but like colby needs to learn he doesn't call the shots i know he's um it's madness how like do you operate in that way you know i mean that guy does like i'm fighting him even though it's the top guys and i mean like number three guys finding number two guys just flat out refusing yeah i mean like i understand i was the number the number three fighting number 15 you can say no because whatever but the number two and the number three and the number one and number two and all of that that should be fine each other man you know i mean a lot of these guys seem to think they don't need to it's weird that the us is allowing it yeah but even the way leon stood up and he was like right i'll fight you i have because everyone it seemed like no one was answering that phone call and the way he took that i was like jesus fair played you because i'm like chamoy have made his debut against uh john phillips on on a random ufc card how many people were tuning in i'm not like i watched it obviously but and then because and i was like well just go to my views i remember i saw ross the next day i was like this guy is like could be bigger and like more aggressive and then yeah we were going to make sure like a reese mckee you're probably known and like then i saw he was fighting chamois but i was like oh my god you're against this guy i was like we want to say but like even when they weighed in he like lifted him up in the air i was like okay this is gonna be it's gonna be dangerous so i mean like uh for leon to like take that fight i just like it made no sense but then it showed like obviously he has balls but it showed that he had bigger balls than a majority people in the division as well and that's something you can't take away and also like because leon wasn't in and as active as he would have liked to have been over the last one and that's obviously down to crown of ours and all that stuff like he was about to really shoot the superstar i believe if like he would have taken taken on woodley in the o2 and then and after all the promotion that bt did all about the family stuff everything man yeah i was like this is really his time and then that was all taken away from it's just um i believe i believe in like go karma and stuff like that and like everything he's doing for the the brummie mma scene there's something big gonna happen and like i think i think kobe just has to accept his fate and and um uh a true warrior like you know who wants this more than him i think this is it's mad it's just it's aware that he will take it and he's like he's not you're sitting there and i was like i'm not fighting no child to fight what do you mean the guy's number three what are you talking about you know i mean oh it just it just doesn't make sense but i think these boys are scared they they want to stay in line and they don't want to risk it you know i mean they don't want to risk it they know they can say what they want to say but at the end of the day a good fire a good fighter will know a good fire you know i mean you look like i think you know what i might say holy [ __ ] but i know this guy could beat me and they know that one thing i just want to touch on is i saw leon actually paid tribute to marvin hagler and throughout the week and he uh very unfortunately passed away what are your thoughts on mark marvin hagler as a boxer and what did he actually mean to you and leon know what like i started watching recently from honest you know i mean and um when you're watching this thing to yourself that guy was solid man yeah he had the heart you know i mean i remember i was running i was running um on monday and there's like a little snippet i think joe rogan showed he's like he's running in the snow and like screaming war you know i mean like mentality when you tap into that mentality man it's just you just feel indestructible you know i mean so i was just trying to get a bit more bit more of his mentality in this preparation you know i mean so is it is a feminine phenomenal um fighter it's just any side that he passed away i've been watching his face all week to be honest there we have it oroip marvin hagler um fabian i want to move up to the middleweight division um we'll just stick in ufc before we move on to battle tour and obviously paulo costa i don't know if you saw is out of the fight against robert whittaker do you think that now makes marvin vittorio versus darren taylor number one contenders will fight for the for the beltway it shouldn't you know i mean i just f i can't believe um we think i've took so much you know i mean yes he lost the title we get that but the fact that um and he's a very nice guy by the way he's like such a nice guy as well you know what i mean is his coach turning around saying oh he doesn't deserve it you know i mean after after the title defenses that it had and the war that he's been through it it's mad that people are just looking over him you know i mean it beat down to him if daruntal wins this fight they can't just put down until in a fight wait he's just lost to the former champion you know i mean it's just it's it's madness i don't put out the what number one but i won't doubt the ufc to turn around and say okay then if till wins we'll make that fight yeah but didn't whitaker sort of turned down the the opportunity to fly with arasana as well so it sort of went into this situation no i don't think he did i think the ufc tried to portray he did and he never did i think that was that that was the issue i think um they i think they offered him a date and he was like i can't afford that day i'm still injured and they were like you turned down doesn't want to do it doesn't want to do it they know it's very good to deal with that well did they take them out of the top 15 as well do they no no no point not they didn't leon edwards yeah for um what do you actually here's a quick question for fabian who do you think wins this weekend kevin holland or derek cronson i think brunson okay and what would you think of whitaker versus brunston then as a a replacement yeah yeah that's that's a good enough five for them whitaker to win and then state keepers in one contendership i think so not because of brunson but just because of him winning you know i mean like he's lost his title we understand that but he's gone ahead and he's um and he's he's beat that until oh my god the dog's going crazy strictly come dancing i was going crazy right it's all right live you know what i mean but um if it beats grandson for me deserve it man yeah i mean you can't just i hate i hate when i see people's hard work just disrespected like that you know i mean like you lose once i get it it's a game of winner losses but you don't just put a guy to the side and forget about him after all he's done man former champ i do think if kevin holland can get the job done this weekend that makes even more interesting because that would be what six seven points in a row he's one so like that would definitely be a normal contender fighting my eyes if he fought whitaker because and kevin holland loves a quick turnaround so like that will be even more interesting i think than a bronson fight for damn yeah brunson definitely has the tools to get it done especially with his wrestling yeah yeah i reckon i don't kevin allen is all right he's all right but i don't think he'd be bronson you know i mean like he lost he lost in my opinion he lost that fight to darwin stewart you know what i mean couple obviously when i split decision by my eyes he lost that fight so i don't i don't think he will um i don't think it'd be brunson but be interested what way do you think it'll go down because like obviously um kevin holland was taken down by jacare and then finished them off the ground like yeah yeah like like which which is like oh like was unbelievable we we thought that jackery was probably going to win but well well i just want to see it going because we know we know bronson's going to shoot some stage you know yeah but at the same time sometimes brunson gets wildly i mean i think he's got he's got heavy hawks yeah you know i mean so it's like and i can't see him getting violent and kevin holland looking to shoot on him so he see if he can keep him off him deep in his approach if anything i'm going to go brunch on round three we're going to message you beforehand i remember uh what was it uh kevin hart uh was it kevin holland oh no bronson sorry brunson was fighting um anderson silva and like like he had the chance to take it remember he just never did it and i think he under the bright light season he's not i don't know i don't think he's ever going to become champion no offense to him you know but i know he like are you guys going for i'm going for i'm going for holland i think it's i know i love the excitement of it you know and like that would help whitaker um like if they were to fight each other to really push him on i don't think brunson really does it you know well at the start of the year i predicted kevin holland will fight for the belt at some stage now i'm not saying he'll actually get no more confederate ships but like just his willingness to step in on a few days knows i think eventually get my total shot so yeah i'm going to say kevin holland will win this one i would definitely favor bronson's skills to be able to like put it this way he'll dictate where the fight takes place with his wrestling ability so yeah there's a high chance of that well fabian let's let's have a look at bellator mma and the big deal this year on show showtime um i think maybe yourself included we're all sort of waiting around being like what is going on with bellator this year yeah yeah they've eventually announced they're coming back this april and i'd say you would along with 10 other people probably in the world were the only people happy not to see gay garb musassi the lloyd heavyweight tournament would that be correct oh yeah that's great when i put it up i fought myself i better not see his we actually had a big john mccarthy and josh the punk thompson on the show and we were discussing it all it was actually it's crazy like uh like since we've had you on we've actually been featured on the ufc countdowns and yeah we've had these guests you know but like it's it's it's crazy that how um this game works but yeah like when bellator came out with the announcement with its return like um i say you could you were just like thank god yeah i'm happy that he's not tied up you know i mean um even though i lost my first fight i don't i don't believe that's not me back too far you know i mean i just need to put in two good performances and i can get that shot so i might feel that it's not tied up your one loss was um it was almost a trigger-shy version of yourself which isn't isn't the norm i would say and like you know it was two of the best strikers in uh bellator middleweight his leg kicks were his technique wasn't perfect yeah yeah what's called it was it was two guys who knew they could put each other's lights out at any moment and it was quite attentive like it's it's almost like the middleweight version of mangano versus derek you know you don't take too many risks and then get caught with someone so like i don't think your stock actually dropped because if anything of my memory certainly correct like you won the third round um you know i think people go right well like if that was a five and fight the toy was turning yeah and so it's a look if any if anything like if mma scoring was different that could have easily been a draw put it that way yeah so i don't think your stock necessarily dropped it all and in terms of name recognition of bellator middleweights you're right up there so you know one or two wins and you're right in line for a total shot i believe that david what did you learn after that last as well because obviously like i mean everyone knows you start you're going you're very calm cool and collected and you sort of you look like you look very chilled out let's call it that and then like yeah and then when like obviously uh was the castle of vance vance dean it's like that was like we were watching that fight it was an empty arena as well it was just uh yeah i don't know what made it like it just it looked like yeah it was very very sensitive and like usually you're the you're the boss in there like yeah like what did you learn after taking that loss as well because like um i just learned i'm too calm man i'm too you were you're very calm i was like i learned like i learned i'm too calm you know and um the majority are people that fight it's like they might say whatever they want to say that i'm i'm a loud mouth and why all that [ __ ] there but when they're in there i know when the fight starts they're a bit like weary because they know my striking and i relax too much man so i relax and allow them to come into the fight you know i mean so i've just learned that when the fight goes let's just go ahead and put on these guys you know i mean i believe i believe in my skill set and i know where i know where i'm at in my skill set you know i mean so yeah so that was it you know and like even like i've looked at everything because my first loss of my career so i've looked at every like everything everything with preparation diet that was the main thing was the main thing looking at it now what's the one thing you learned the most about her i think um apart from like the fight itself like being more aggressive you know i mean i'm taking more taking more chance but it would be like um i couldn't even sleep on fight week you know i mean i can't so i need to try to figure out how to sleep how to sleep when i'm in the hotels if you take polar costs as a rule of things maybe i need to figure out something you know i mean but it's like i'm very calm and i fight weak and this sometimes it's too calm you know so same with my weight um i always make weight but at the same time i can still do bad you know i mean i can rest when i'm on five weeks i can rest better i can just come up my phone all the distractions god i'll be i'll be fighting and before i meet before i'm walking i'll be on my phone you know i've been before chilling with your healthiest that's just me as a person because i'm so calm but it's like my coach is saying listen you have to understand the the um just understand how big this is that means like may put your phone down and like zone in you know so i've learned and i have to zone in so maybe a little bit less like corn nelson slow slightly better preparation and then flip the switch a bit bit earlier on in the night before uh walking out of the cage maybe maybe not maybe not up to clay wheeler still before open up there energy would be the correct word you know what like some people are used to be more aggressive when you i'm sure i've started pro i look i've never been the type to go in there and start swinging like crazy you know i mean i've gone out there and like you said i've just shown people like big shots i put big shots on people and just tasty big tasty shops i think that was potentially one of the problems in your last fight that obviously koslovan cena is a world-class striker yeah and there was less openings there as opposed to when you when you go in there you're always playing far and large the better technical striker and those tasty shots weren't there as much as they they normally are and but i think going forward you've obviously learned from that and you know i mean if you know you can always do around one feeling something else and then you know put it on them around two and three you know i mean you have that paper now no one there's no fear like nah there's no feeling out man even my training partner was just saying like i've been inspired i normally don't i've been inspiring since this fight because to change and to train certain things and add certain things into your skill set you have to you have to i believe yes you know i mean it's good it's all good learning and technique but you have to go inspiring and and and um i use this technique in a live situation so i've been inspiring man and i've just i've came on leaps and bounds leaps and bounds in the space of six months so i can't wait to show it man i really can't really looking forward to it i know your time is off air you're probably looking at may 21st uh over in america oh yeah it's going to be the mohicans yeah i think that's where bellator are holding their events for the uh foreseeable i think that's almost like their version of the apex yeah yeah i think i think it's called the fight pyramid or something over there yeah or something yeah you call it something like that we'll be very very looking forward to seeing it who you faced there and what's going down but um have you do you know your opponent i know you don't have to say it but you know who it is yourself yeah yeah i did well it would be main event as well because like obviously you and my shipment that was that was like main event that was uh it's a big fight so i'd be surprised if either or cole man you know i mean but it'd be up there somewhere because it is a big fight so yeah there's some noise there's some nice names in that division um i'm looking forward to seeing what austin vanderford does next next mr mr vanzant and he's over there mr yeah yeah and then like i don't know gay garden was asking like gave me his belt one time so i always have a soft spot for uh as well so i'm looking forward to seeing who he fights next because obviously with uh lovato junior's uh fake hitting that belt it left the division in a bit of a a strange situation so i don't think there's also a clear normal contender for him so who knows saving one win and that could be you yeah that's it a bit i just need to i need to be finished finishing these guys man you know i mean like i see and like it's meant to more it's mental more than physical you know i mean it's just i'm going out there and just playing with my feet too much man now i mean i'm going to go down i'm trying to eat the food straight away this time i ain't trying to play with it from there yeah man you need to get into nando's get gravy troll throw down that chicken and get ninja asap asap that i'm preparing for man i am really preferring to go out there and and cause damage i really am um yeah obviously obviously it was what march 21st sorry what day were we talking may 21st yeah yeah yeah but what like it like so we're on march march 16. now what do you sort of have to do in preparation for the next couple of months now and to build up to that um obviously we spot twice a week um i'm like i'm over people say i'm over trainer i don't believe so you know i mean i do like three four sessions a day you know i mean but i just believe like when it when it's time time you have to give your all you know i mean and that's just how things go but there'd be a lot of sprinting even like with some of my preparation i didn't prepare our coder but the first lockdown was um we couldn't trade in the gym and stuff before this time we had to train outside you know i mean so you couldn't really get your grappling in and and that that that part of my game run as sharp as it could have been yeah so this time around i'm i'm really grateful that i'm able to work my wrestling coach my jiu jitsu coach um my different striking coach i've took on new i took on a new boxing coach as well and everything's coming together well man i'm i'm really happy with how this preparation is going to go yeah because they're doing great things as well you know like and um we've said on other shows about how you and your brother and uh even like darren stewart and darren hill all got involved with uh with what was going on in england with like the stabbings and stuff and that you were like um like at the forefront of that to try and like tell people to put the weapons down and stuff i don't i don't think we've had john since then is there anything you can say about that or how that went or how you felt being part of something like a movie like that that's most of my brothers yeah i mean my brother's thing you know i mean um i've got a friend a couple friends and they work with houston in the school so we've been we've been staying up um obviously before this like that stuff but we've been starting up on going to school and speaking about i was in my experience growing up because that was a little i was a little [ __ ] a little bit so like you know look what you're doing now though look what you're doing now like i mean you have to take the goal from the bad and you're doing it you have to you know i mean so i think i think now it's about giving back in it you know i mean it's no there's no one better to speak to than someone that's been through stuff you've been through in my opinion you know i mean so yeah that's that'll be happening in the next couple months when i can start going into the schools that's pretty good you know you've come out the other side and all for the better and sharing those experiences you know someone especially someone from your position like i mean you could really like touch someone and like make them you know feel that you know they can turn their life for now but um just to touch on team renegade and they're fabian and obviously you have guys like um tom breeze and joy herbert is there anyone we should be looking out for there uh on the opening up it's low obviously you know aidan lee you know i mean we got a light heavyweight matty by fuel he's dangerous he's real dangerous he tried to call out one of your guys on call carl moore yeah tried to get a chat right but he couldn't have it um there's a there's a kid called shay he's about 17 now he's dangerous he's he's dangerous man sold his dog boy um straight banton bantamweight he mentioned yeah i think trey bent away he's a dangerous kid man and i'm seeing him spar with like the pros he's on the amateur and the kids trust me he's got he's got such a big future ahead of him you know i mean um what about nate and nathan frederick as well i know he's the middleweight champ oh yeah he's all the champs we already know about it but i was just like also um i remember i was listening to the green ball and talking about it yeah that doesn't mean i know i know the use here known for not not like uh bringing people in if they're over the age of all the room over something but it was sort of it'd be great for him to get that opportunity as well because who knows if people are going and knocking out people why not keep these people as long as you want you know yeah like why not you know um yeah i probably haven't called him if i'm honest because there's no one else for him to go in there and fight in cage obvious you know i mean um and i was tiring on his side but he's still an animal so it'd be good for him to go in there and and put these fights on i think you have i think the ufc fans will love him because of his style you know i mean i think dana will love him because of his style they don't like somebody somebody's gonna go out there and put on people's toes and try not come out and that's what he does at the time you know so hopefully one more fight and he can go man because you deserve it it really does yeah yeah definitely and also like you look at something like yolo romero um who uh actually yeah i was asked about that heavyweight who was a i can't remember i think it was a luke rockholders had he kicked him and it was like kicking a wall but uh joel romero was what like 43 and he's still going so um you know i mean that's uh that's a toy frederick he could have another eight years left and if he goes with that right um but uh tell us just about uh yo romero do you think you could never share in a cage with him mate he signed a message on at the guy yeah mike mike hogan for the same level and um as i may give me and he's like he's like calm down he's in the light everywhere i was like oh like i know what if he ever comes down i'm hearing it yeah i mean so that's that was that was my mentality when i said i'm sorry i'm like you give me that fight man [ __ ] it i mean let me let me go in there with him and feel what everyone's saying is about and i mean but isn't it like heavyweight in it so i don't know that's a pay-per-view foreign yeah well speaking about it like y'all romero let's look at the loyalty like um tournaments like who who do you think's going to win that fabian i think the champion really know yeah i really do i think he's a he's good all-arounder yeah i think it's a good the winner of bader versus uh machida i feel like he might be able to take people down for 15 minutes and you know end up in the vinyl i don't know you have to say yeah i'll have to look at that list again and see who's matched up i can't remember off the top of my head that i mean but yeah i'll go pumpkin i'll go for the champion then also like you see 260's on in two weeks time as well um like stephen you'll just take on francis again and uh alexander volkanovski's taking on brian ortega as well um fabian who would you fancy for at the heavyweight title because everyone's going to be talking about the winner of db versus francis is going to fight jon jones like what what wait to see this fight come because it is a rematch stipe like totally dominated the first time what way do you see it going this time around because everyone knows francis is box office stuff you know he's uh yeah you know um i i'm gonna go francis and i think he would have learned a lot from that fight you know i mean um i went in there believing in you when you believe in yourself you know so when you believe in the hype too much that you can knock it out you go in there like he's saying he was swinging like a crazy man you know you weren't even trying to pick his shots he was just was able to move and see the shots i think this time around he will um he'll be a bit more calmer i was to still throw his powerful strikes but he would take his time but if he can take if he can stop those takedowns then i think winning my stoppage and what about the cole man coleman falcon arts i don't know why but i just i'm just not a fan of volkov [Laughter] seems to rob max carmax won that second fight i'm just like nah man you're not a champ yeah i mean max should have won that second fight so i'm just like in my eyes you're not the champ you know i mean so i'm gonna go with brian ortega i think it's like everyone loves max holloway so much i think it was when like daniel cormier b anderson everyone was still like bill and daniel cormier because he loved anderson it's it's such a weird game isn't it like if you have to if you have a big fan audience like and then you leave everyone's like boo it's really yeah it's really really hard i actually don't know who i fancy without one russell like but i think falcon obviously probably gotta win that well i think he probably will bought like broad ortega's dangerous from minute one to the 25th minute especially with those submissions like when he put when he like pulled guard and like had that jump and guillotine on cope swanson that was one of the most outrageous things i've ever seen so yeah it's going to be it's going to be a very interesting matchup yeah let's see if we agree on this one favorite because like so far we're 100 percent not agreeing tyson fury is fighting anthony joshua it's announcing that contract uh tank gods is actually announced so they're going to fight in either june or july or may and june june or july anyway and then do one more at the end of the year um who knows where the fights are going to be on i'm sure i'm sure you'll be there like whatever one you can get to who just fancy for this one because like so many people are saying tyson fury's just going to dance all over them that's what's being said like what do you sort of expect here i'm going to go i'm going to go joshua you know i mean what is that i believe that i know i don't think tyson will be able to um definitely i don't think you'd be able to bully him like i did um wilder you know in that second fight he came in heavier and he um kind of just manhandled wilder and i mean yeah i don't think he'll be able to do that and um and joshua's his boxing ability has gotten better since his last release he's gone out there and he's he's doing pullback counters he's on his feet he's moving around so he's fighting his fight iq and if he's got bad for me you know i mean he's not just going out there looking to take people's heads off he's looking to go out there and box so yeah i just don't think tyson will be able to bully him like i did while and josh will be able to um to to keep it long and keep it long and um and get the victory i'm very excited for it oh i to be honest i i actually think i think i think fury's gonna win i i think bollards what they've done to the game is just um it's so exciting and it's like it's it's kind of so many people interested in as well it's uh how do you think anything fairy gets done buzz do you want me to answer that decision no it was called uh i do think fury's footwork is the best at heavyweight i think his footwork and his job is going to be enough to give joshua trouble i think joshua normally leans a lot on his job and that's what's made him so effective but he's going to be pointing someone taller than which is that gonna be probably one of the first times he's done that in his career and i think fury's gonna use his footwork to use his jab and i also think joshua gets a lot more tired than fury just i don't think his cardio is good as furies and i think fury's going to be able to win i'm going to say late stoppage because we've seen joshua hurt a few times before i know fury's not known for his power but i almost think it's um max holloway-esque as in it's deadpool thousand cuts as opposed to you know the one shot kill yeah well again like the fact that some people think joshua's gonna win in fact some people think fury's gonna win that's what makes it good yeah yeah yeah i'm more than happy to be wrong like i know we do a show and we have to try to be right more often than not but i mean i i just love talking about having to crack with it which is great and everyone like how many fights are you really looking forward to seeing this year obviously barrier on on replay uh leon fighting colby coming and uh joshua versus fury what are sort of fights are you looking forward to this year um i'm looking forward to the um the female fight i'm looking forward to that rose versus um yeah you know i mean that's gonna be a good fight um and that tournament man i ain't gonna lie for me personally apart from the the joshua my brother's fight that tournament a bellator tournament that's like that's one that's one of the best tournaments of cinema i mean i like the tournament's gonna be dangerous so i'm looking forward to see your versus abny i don't know i really don't know if you don't want to pick i don't know that's going to be interesting see y'all not having to cut weight filled out by light heavyweight that should be interesting yeah i definitely agree i'm also looking forward to people fighting aj mckee i think that's a blockbuster as well um but yeah i think there's plenty of cool voice look forward to across all different promotions and combat sports and then hopefully for us as well and look forward to seeing katie taylor come back in action and the boxing as well and obviously mcgregor poirier iii is going to be massive as well oh yeah but um bosmo anything else add in there before we close the show yeah fabian i was just sort of looking at your instagram like are you and um uh leon are you two like the heads of your own management team now or what sort of way are you being managed at the moment as in uh like yeah are you using charge of some sort of company yeah me my brother and um i feel a few other um other friends around part of our management the manager if you're the guys i'm at the gym yeah that's what i was thinking yeah at the moment you know i mean so um we've been we've been branching now we've been we've been going for about a year and a bit now now mom but with we just think we haven't really been able to go out there and scout people yeah do you want to think about go for id if for you it's like obviously because uh podcasts are blowing up you should probably get like one of the guys who just like is basically lives there there's always some guy in the gym who like you clean the mats to not have yeah what you should probably get someone like um like one of the local ads to like start a podcast and obviously when the fighters are like whether they're fighting on amateur or real like or national fights you should probably get them on the week so everyone knows it's sort of happening you know i thought from ross films like when we promote irish fights that are coming and coming up regionally a lot of people take interest i think that'd be good because like you thought yeah you stand for something good and you're doing something good for the community and i think you do really good things yeah yeah i was just gonna say the edwards brothers are doing bits it's difficult they're always doing bits man well yeah yeah no fabian it's great to have you back home and it's great to see you doing well and like you're fully focused obviously obviously uh leon it didn't work out but i honestly believe there's bigger better things coming for for you know maybe
