enough like us we're into week three of The Ultimate Fighter uh the last two episodes were great crack and this one we're back again Ross we are indeed and it's it's 3-0 to uh Chandler and the Vets um it looks like um the prospects are maybe biting off a lot more than they can chew um this one this one was an interesting one than the fact that like it was the current LFA Champion versus a previous LFA champion at lightweight and I was like all right well this is like for the imaginary LFA belt right here uh when it's gone this one but uh I think the talking points this one were uh obviously that kid that little entrepreneur kid um like the art kid who like made the toys there I think what was he using like old wrestling figures and then like yeah painted them I was like one of them was definitely like a Vince McMahon buddy with the suit he's just like I think I think he said one I think they said Brock Lesnar was one of the bodies as well yeah I think it was his legs or something like that uh stuck it on but I was like dude like they they looked like they were bought out of the packet as opposed to sort of shitly painted and don't no there I don't really I would have thought there'd be more figures of Conor anyway but uh I saw at the end there were three figures figurines yeah like what was the middle one with long hair yo I didn't really see that one I thought that's for the suit one and the one the green UFC shorts that they were sort of the ones that they showed the most well maybe we'll find that kid's Instagram and see the other ones but uh oh here here's a question for you don't want McGregor's okay like that a lot of cash by the way like how big was that water cash right do you think the kid thought he was getting all that money because that's what I thought when I saw his face he looked like he was gonna get absolute bankrolled oh um I know like I was like I don't really know that kid's background obviously but you would have thought seeing that amount of money at one time wouldn't be an everyday thing but uh I think what do you think every time he does a figurine now it's worth 400. yeah that's the thing yeah so it looked like 100 by three in the end yeah so 400 each how much he gets like into everything he's like oh yeah all the fists and they can move and they can do this and that and like he's like yeah do you know who's playing with them well the thing is you should have got an extra figure to figurine because he's about to have another another child so congratulations to Connor yeah fair play man like the the McGregor Clans constantly growing you know I mean so uh yeah it was it I also thought it was funny though he was like welcome to the UFC kid would make next okay Sean O'Malley I think would be good [Music] yeah um you know what I think if they did like select amount of UFC action figures they'd do well like maybe that you could do for everyone but like for a few people yeah but the thing is now people tuned in like that was really cool to see that like um because obviously Conor has millions of followers so to break through there and for him to actually see your work is not an easy feat to do so um like that order photos might be like you know what I'd like to get that kid to make me something as well or even like wrestler well there's all the wrestlers but maybe like people that like Formula One drivers or uh Conor was at the basketball recently as well or else maybe you could get you can make a uh who's the Nicola do an interview no Almighty it's so funny and so funny they're like oh my God you scored like 25 points 15 rebounds on like a eight steals or something like that like only you and LeBron and Tim Duncan Kevin Garnet everyone that has a feeling he goes that's not really a big deal and they're like oh my God are you going to the parade and he's like when's the parade oh it's on Thursday it's like nah I need to go home it's just like whatever they say he's going to try and get him like sort of hyped up for something he's like nah [Applause] [Music] no because the NBA were pushing to get it at Tatum from the Celtics to be the next LeBron so um yeah that really that really didn't work out well yeah I was thinking like it's it's funny that like a European is now dominating the NBA it's gone Global but what you're making McGregor knocking out the mask was this the business podcast and I actually I don't think it's true that your man went to the hospital oh surprised if he did but like well I'm not punched anything seriously the second part the second one yeah yeah the second one the second one looked like it was uh Dom Henderson versus Bisping two part two but uh gets paid a year the mascot because uh I looked into it afterwards will there be what 82 games at least yeah it's a wrote Underground well he gets paid 600 round a year I was like Mom we're in the wrong we're in the wrong profession here man yeah this is now the mascot podcast yeah uh yeah apparently the Las Vegas noise fella gets paid the most geez that's a lower tax rate as well yeah your brother used to be a mascot as well wasn't you was he did not do a few games for lands there like do it together or something is it that no no no I thought you put it to the Leinster game before it's I don't know if you know if you don't if you don't to change the channel for that no but I'm surprised the title didn't work either on the mascot or uh when uh Conor was on tour saying if you have like if you can feel pain like pull it up everybody and throw it away like a pebble and then uh I'm surprised like him coming up with that stuff is actually probably taking away revenue from Toys R Us well I didn't actually really think about it that way but like there's definitely there definitely is a moment Over Matter sort of psychology to it that like I do believe is true that you you can't sort of you can't sort of do that and if you focus on it and then like between that and like a bit of Wim Hof breathing so for that I feel like you can definitely like sort yourself out of pain and I think it is probably something that Connor's deals in the past because obviously when you go through a full fighting training camp like that I mean like there's a lot of injuries that you're going to pick up along the way that yeah it's one of those things where there have to be a lot of money over matter I'm like you saw McGregor when you fall out Poirier in the um McGregor forever documentary that like he was got he had injuries going into a lot of the fights so it is one thing that you sort of have to overcome and like it it was sort of strange and the documentary well not strange but like most people when they get injured they're like oh I'm injured then they have to rest for a while he he the way he was sort of describing like uh I think it was in one of the clips I saw it was like oh or maybe it was last week's episode you know if your arms or slicked on the bike use her legs or if this is sore do that instead you know I mean there's always something that you could be working on and I was like well that's like such a an elite mindset to have it is yeah he didn't just uh sit in the couch no we didn't gotta put I got up and kept working well that's why he's Elite I mean like it's just all the out the extracurricular activities that he gets George down like he did become dramatically moved like he always moved away he was never afraid to do it all this sort of stuff I mean I think that stuff gets pushed under the carpet a lot more now these days than ever like for instance looking Amanda Nunez just after return over the weekend champ champ as well yeah it's it's it's a strange one um obviously she was the opposite to a media sweetheart she did like next to no media basically for majority of her career like you only sort of you hear more about Amanda Nunez on the broadcast than you do in any interview you really ever see so she was a bit of an enigma in that way but obviously unbelievable Talent greatest women follower of all time um I actually think those divisions would probably grow without her now because I think they've become more competitive and like sort of The Next Step color down I think like there's four or five women there who could all maybe potentially beat each other and none of them probably could have beaten her so like there's a lot to say and I do feel like like your touchdown earlier Connors actual accolades in the sport sometimes aren't given enough Credence well he actually went on and like he created this idea of people moving weight classes and fighting other other toil Challengers and like he he is he's like a Harlem Globetrotter in a way you know I mean like he's he's one of these guys who like people just can't take their eyes off and like they're mesmerized by him when he gets in there and he does do stuff that people don't normally do and he does have this sort of unique like the way like he was hitting like Cerrone with the shoulder shots like he sees these techniques that other people don't see yeah do you remember he brought in the movement coach as well and like everyone was yeah everyone at Goblin was it moving differently yeah but yeah but other foyers are getting moved when coaches they've been like oh what what is this guy doing yeah it's not actually like those one percent differences that make the difference you know I mean that makes it from a champ to a jump champ well like GSP was mad for doing gymnastics back in the day you know I mean like no one else doing gymnastics and he was the best so like maybe there was something to do with that and obviously when Conor brought an Edo portal part of I'm sure do have a movement coach part of it is gymnastic esque workouts so what do they call it calisthenics where you just do body work body weight stuff so like look there's no denying the success he's had it inside and outside the cage so like it's just it's just cool to see him on the TV once a week you know you're guaranteed to get at least like 20 minutes of him I'm four stars Stout um yeah Ross we bring it back uh so in prospects going into the fight yeah Chandra was winning two nil and then it was Conor McGregor's team Mackenzie was taking on Chandler's Hubbard uh Hobart previously found UFC seven times yeah he is now 31 uh Mckenzie was the prospect at 34 years old Ross yeah um I'm trying to think do you remember the fella quit on the stool well that Hobart was Hobart fighting that guy I can't read a cardboard I don't I don't feel like if you quit in the still that Daniel I feel like there's a certain criteria because even Austin Hubbard um had some stories about his his brother passing away and he lost a kid as well he lost a kid as well yeah and then I think something happened to McKenzie as well like like I'm not too sure I can't really remember off the top of my head but it seems like everyone has this sort of background story I'm sure it makes makes me think like every photo that was brought on not only could you fight but there had to be some sort of background story as well with it yeah definitely um obviously he's been through a lot like he was in debt he's working for his his dad I think it was um which is uh yeah he actually won a Philadelphia Max rushcup I just locked up there and the other fella quit on the sales I was like um is the most well-rounded fighter in the Gaff as well which is which is a big he was sort of all over the place he was moving out to Denver train couldn't really afford to deal with what he was doing it anyway I mean these are the sacrifice these sort of people make so great team you got to win I don't think you mentioned I don't think you mentioned the background for both of them as well um no I was about to touch on uh McKenzie there um there was something about McKenzie's mindset that I wasn't actually as I was like sort of I wasn't as confident enough if that makes sense like when he was sort of like it's okay I lost cause you all love me and that sort of thing I was a bit like well I'm pretty sure they wanted you to win like I'm pretty sure you like the goal was for you to go out here and win and start providing for your family with volition um I just didn't think I didn't think he wanted it as much when he was like talking about his family and stuff for that I felt like he he was he was almost grateful to be there as opposed to trying to prove a point that like he deserves to be here and I think that touches back on episode one when Roosevelt Roberts was like some people when you know you've had it and you've lost it like that hunger to get it back and I think that really showed them this one and I just didn't actually think Mackenzie was the level as well on the photo I thought like this striking was a bit labored at times and like he just almost accepted losing a thought one stage Joel I agree with destroy that was one thing when I was watching both of them I was like right 748 UFC vet and then then Mackenzie was there is the LFA champion and then when I was watching the Striking in the buildup I was just like Andy's 34 or sort of like yeah Dodge what the point is I was like well let's let's uh let's not go too far here man yeah but I mean the way when he was going in then he was he actually landed some really good choice then so I was sort of like beforehand I didn't think he looked that cool but then he did actually land some really effective strikes yeah no definitely he's definitely Orthodox I I always sort of say if you can if you're very elite at striking okay like in Israel out of Sanya it's probably easier to get go to crafting because like you can learn a lot of the defensive grappling if that makes sense well I think if you're very good at grappling it's very hard to be like extreme you go to striking because yeah if it's more of a natural Rhythm that some people have and some people don't I feel like McKenzie doesn't have a and like I don't mean to be bad but I don't feel like Army because he's ever going to get to a top UFC level I just don't think the striking's going to evolve and told me to tell me to be that release or something no this is getting there this that has to be edited oh geez that's the way it is I think what strongly is going to get the level man right that's getting there today I can't believe you said that no no offense but hobo would look like yeah it looks like he already deserves to be in the UFC sale yeah I was like I was like right that was that was cool performance by him yeah like Hubbard and Roosevelt they're gonna be dangerous yeah like that's that's a UFC fight when the two-man fight like yeah exactly like you know what it is I think when this season was announced they actually looked the names and like right but like I fully know all these UFC vets and like I've seen them voice it's not like they have one followed on like the undercard of employment and then got dropped like all these vets seemed to have at least two or three fights minimum in the UFC and so yeah seven fights like and he was yeah he's only 31 now it's like no I know where I'm putting my money on exactly yeah bring it back to the um well before we finish on that this week's ultimate folder episode three make sure to check it out as well um yeah or in the black Forge in they've showed every week on a Tuesday or First Media now apparently is out of some sites I saw that as well yeah and ESPN but they don't speak interest so watch it news before you pass and say yeah yeah energize it um you were mentioning the strike and bring the Striking in at a later like at a later age that's why all the like grappling you can improve and you're grappling if you're a great Striker that's where all this like talk about Tyson Fury fighting Jon Jones and EOC is all coming around it's funny how like these sort of things can just take over your news feed for ages it's like it's toy Superior really going to do this seems like a lot of the media on Logan Paul's podcast that recently uh uh I think it was a couple of weeks ago he was just on Andrew Schultz's there the other day Andy was on with Ariel maybe it was on Andrew Schultz is one that he was it definitely wasn't on Aerials when it was I was on one that was ones and he was saying that if like toys Fury just works on this Brawl for like a year he thinks it's always if you have a good chance of beating Jon Jones I was like jeez it's mad like you put this way what would be your interest in seeing them fight in MMA out his hand and what would be your interest to see them fight in boxing everything um Tyson Fury and Tom Jones yeah the production side of the UFC is just in another it's in it it's in a league of its own um because like I was watching teofimo Lopez against Josh Taylor on ESPN and the production side of it like just doesn't grab your attention as much and then like I think matron do a good job but like am I missing any other people I think I think matrim is the closest but I think mushroom sort of try to copy UFC model yeah I think Eddie her and said that like he said like he loves the way UFC do stuff like the rain walk is all a bit like it's a bit more it's not the same as like When Auntie Joshua does ring walk like despite the fact he has far less Charisma like he's like coming out of a a Podium male the sky or something or you know I mean like he did far more to it or like uh storms he's walking around doing some sort of rap or even Kate Taylor and three Arena like everyone thought was long but like you could tell there was a lot of money put into it I'd rather watch them box each other would you yeah I just don't think it makes sense in in an MMA fight I think I'd rather watch the MMA just because we haven't seen someone of that level come over and do MMA so like I'd like to see it and I don't see how fast Jon Jones will be able to take someone like Tyson Fury now because obviously Tyson Fury would have saw his Advantage but I think they'd have to do some sort of new weight class because I don't know if choice if you can make 265 pounds he could just finish him quicker than he then he finished see algan and oh yeah but you probably have to pay a bit more respect on the way in though so kickboxer yeah MMA well it didn't look like in the fight no you see a deer in headlights there nah here look whatever if they if they void in any aspect I'll I'll watch it I might level interest won't be below of course you're gonna watch it give it to me give it to me what Affairs I like if I could watch Jon Jones fight toys if you're in May or a boxing or I can watch Jon Jones fight like from a purest point of view like I'd love to watch before you pavlovich but like in terms of like dealing with numbers and like the build up I just don't think it would do much I'm just sick and tired of talking before it's the cold happened let's talk about voice that are happening like or else make fights like there's a there's a backlog of voids there like obviously the Conor and Chandler one Conor was just on saying that he's gonna fight in November December yeah we're gonna find out soon exactly when that is because I can't wait to start hyping that up as if we aren't already um like when she might have come back is you fight newsman um I think that one like is almost rumor too much for it not to happen I think that's uh 294 is that the Abu Dhabi card oh my God so if that happens I'm all for it yeah well like I think I think after international flight week a lot more fights will then become like uh open like when's Adam Sandler coming back I want to see him back you know you know what they'll probably do that thing where they do like the press conference at international flight week with all the players for the next season if that makes sense yeah the next three or four paid for yourself that's always something to look forward to and I love when you get so many photos on stage because like you never know where the beef's gonna come from but like the beef is definitely going to be there somewhere yeah whatever Buzz do you want to talk about voice that are made um what do we start with them so just just wrapping up on 1210 before we get into some of the Irish news um next week Stephen Wonderboy Thompson is going to be on The Ultimate Fighter episode four as well so that's gonna be interesting some of the stroking background as well um and then um the fight that was meant to happen last week is a team or a teamwork value of yeah against Wales Trevor well yeah so like that so I think that one is going to be a more exciting episode as well yeah forehead Ross yeah so uh we sort of sat on this news for a couple of weeks and obviously got broken uh last week Sean abandoned the UFC and she'll make her debut at UFC uh London and she's gonna fight Brazil and not the person the country yeah so uh Buzz what'd you make this for you uh and how excited are you to get signed into the UFC I'm excited am I for sure unbelievably Russia we've had her on numerous times as I was um as an amateur I think I think we like I'm not not hype and also for anything but like one of the reasons why we got so into the UC is because we were looking at the landscape and overcoming talent and being like look we're good at spotting talent and then when they signed us like how did you know it's just like here blame Ross but uh China like even going through Ian's whole trajectory like what we're the people that started putting them on loads they was in UC and like we're gonna talk about his fight coming up like then like China the whole way through as well and now she's in UC like it's um I don't know it's a hotbed at the moment um I'm not surprised I want to touch you what a five for the Invicta title and Dan went but I mean when you're a star you're a star and they can see it so uh they're all about that stereo power and like even when you're around or you're like she's special so I'm not surprised no congratulations party uh saw Chris Fields tweet out putty's the first ever orish UC fighter to fight in the UFC and then Coach someone into the UFC as well yeah incredible to see look um Paddy and China have a very special relationship Shawna is someone like you said we've looked after a very long time and it seems to be funny enough to Catalyst of her career was obviously the birth of her song and she's on the field since he's been born and uh we're now all living in the mama B era uh as she just goes um very tough opponent first time out uh Brazil uh her nickname is the special one but uh she's fighting Ireland's version of that of the special one on this occasion and you know it's a bit of a baptism by fire for her but like I think she'll cherish the moment I don't think the moment will get to her I think she'll love the walk out I think she'll you know really Circle Arlene and look like this this one seems to be a bit of a Striker's Deloitte and Bruno Brazil actually got finished by strikes in her last fight so uh that's something that would channel would definitely be looking at and look she's over there she's training in there next year as well with Molly McCann I'm sure she probably gets a few rounds in with Liam Court and she trains with Delights of Dean Albert bitter and uh Sarah Carney over here and a lot of lads at a hula martial arts just a bit of striking in them DCA with their Connie man as well so like look she's getting in the work she's she seems to be one of the hardest workers uh in the country she seems to put everything on point like her her food and all seems to always be on point her her Chinese history on points out look I'm excited to see and I have a goal scorer and I'm excited to follow her she actually like like she said like I mean um like he said on Pizza podcast about half a trip that she's uh she's not here just like make up the numbers like she's here home champion and that's something for a long time and look she's been competing her whole life I think she's 20 odd years of Combat Sports Experience so look she's definitely want to keep an eye on for those who don't know her already oh definitely like definitely I think there's gonna be a massive boom she's gonna she can ignore that for you because obviously like only on yourself Ian and Conor in Doc and Connor's the Globetrotter as you said and uh Ian's living I think I think he's moved moving to Brazil I suppose yeah and then like Sean is like living in Dublin so I mean she's a she's a star she's an absolute star like it's it's like on the novel yeah and then um speaking Gary ingaries it's announced he's going to fight in Boston UFC 292 and the perfect place to put him and he's going to fight against Jeff Neal we were saying Neil magni even though Neil magni has a Floyd pocket he's fighting the other Neil Jeff Neil and Jeff Neil I think did he lose last fight chavka but then yeah before he'd be Vincent dele okay which is interesting because they're about oh but obviously uh kill Cliff Fighters or have trained heavily out of there and obviously that's where Ian's sort of main gym is so uh it's interesting that this will be a third time in a row that definitely has fighting someone from kirklift so I'm sure Ian will get a load of tips in there and then sort of looks in from those guys and who knows maybe uh Ian helped those guys prepare for Daphne the last time out and you know has studied Jeff Neal for a while yeah I think going into his last fight against Danny Rodriguez or sort of like oh this could be 50 50 But like after watching the fight it was like I couldn't believe I even taught Daniel Rodriguez had a 50 chance in this because Ian absolutely blew him out of the water and then after watching Jeff Neal getting Savage play um uh cat rachmanov I think Ian is on another level to Jeff Neal as well so in an Ideal World Ian cleans out Jeff Neal cousin Morgan says it's time to go back to Dublin we get a UC Dublin in January potentially yeah exactly I think I think it'll work out perfect Sean of fighting in July in fighting in uh like like we should definitely get a totem either in January or why not we're not going to find out in December like yeah why not December December schedule is not 40 bucks let's get one there yeah well I am look great great um week for Irish in May great great great bit of news coming out there uh and hopefully we'll see the others follow soon like you're almost uh sick of beating the drum about like a Reese McQueen look around and uh Paul used over and over again each week but look at haspy says those scores are next and uh of course Danny McCormick as well and I'm sure seeing sean gets home with probably Bittersweet for her but at the end of the day like let's still say key for Cosby as well oh Kiefer of course yeah don't definitely especially after seeing a cowboy Oliveira gonna win a Titan after Kiefer Crosby knocks him in the park but like there you go like to tell me that like you almost don't want to name them because you might leave someone there so uh there it is
