to the superstars on this card i'm very very much looking forward to it uh jimmy i'm gonna start with yourself how does it feel to be home back in the cage warriors cage where it all began with the pro debut yeah obviously yeah it's nice to be home man this is where i want to see out my career so yeah roll on roll on friday and um yeah it's going to be is it it's gonna be like a sentimental feeling about sound like a big big wash you know what i mean like it feels special special place in my heart in it you know what i mean so it's come back and find cage wise jaina means the world so i'm really looking forward to it and jimmy are you back with toilet aspirations because you're going in here against daniels gabinski and you know the last person to fight him was justin burlington and a win over him got justin berlins in a total shot are you still looking to capture that elusive cage warrior as well to wait title yeah i mean maybe i'll see see how far he goes i mean listen i'm prepared well i feel in good shape um i'm not coming back just to make the numbers up i'll come back to win and compete well and if i you know if i do win uh which i'm hoping to do yeah of course that's that's the direction i want to go in but i'm not really giving it any like mad thought i'll win this i'm fighting for the title i want the title i'm just focusing solely on daniel he's a very good fighter and it's a very tough test and um that's where all my energy is going right now but yeah i think i'll probably be yeah of course of course that's going to be something deep inside me to try and chase that belt but i'm not really yeah it's not really something that's been on my mind at all just focus solely on solo and daniel right now no i definitely appreciate that and i think it is something that you know well we watched reese mckee win the belt up in belfast and it was a magical moment and you know obviously retails a great history in cage warriors i'm in belfast so and maybe who knows maybe the cage warriors come back to leicester and then jimmy wallhack can get a show on up there that's it yeah yeah the leisure center be sick i love it you've already down for that okay one we'll do it we'll do it let's get this out the way and we'll do it yeah and then uh mike um you probably consider yourself unlucky to not be in the toilet fight uh you put an absolute outrageous string of wins together under the cage where's banner now you're facing the former champion and aggie cedary a win here surely cements you in for the title shot yeah 100 i think it doesn't only cement me for for the title i think it cements me as the number one guy i think aggie was the last active person who to hold the title and um if i beat him i think i'm the number one guy or when i beat him well by the way mike i love that clip that you put up on your wall there recently uh when all you hear people at their face changes and then uh a barrage of you um punching people in the face that that that was epic i'm not gonna like yeah i thought i'd stick it together to remind people what happens um and it's a it's a good one because especially my first in my first fight when uh when i was playing oben and uh he was like touching me with some soft shots and all of a sudden i i exploded on him the commentaries were like oh mike think like land in the big shots and you could just see the whole dynamic of the fight completely changed exactly for the people tuning in now the jimmy um my compete cage warriors 141 london on july 22nd it's gonna be live on ufc five pass if you want to go about cage warriors and why is it the right time to return to cage wires um so i knew know about the fight for a while now um i was looking to come back i wasn't sure if i was done or not um nothing was really falling on my lap like money wise or that or making it make me feel like i want to do it you know i mean nothing was really coming up um i've always in the gym always training and then cage voice came up and just yeah like i said sentimental and values and just something i want to do that if i want to finish my career i want to finish it when i want to like 100 right i finished my career here when that time comes i didn't i wasn't sure if i was done or not if you know what i mean and um the fact that cage voice came up it just made sense to me come back you know i mean compete against some top boys you've got some great water weights and see how it goes might be i say it might be one it might be all five on my contract we'll see um but yeah i just feel like it's it's the right thing to come back to cage warriors for myself right now and yeah i've known for know for a while now but um yeah i'm happy man i'm happy with it i'm very happy with it and uh i'm hoping that i've still got a bit of a bit of fight left in the old dog and uh hopefully show people on friday exactly now it's great to have you back with cage warriors and then mike like boys boys cage warriors 141 the card you're back on you're obviously on this hot streak right now you're looking to get the title shot after this fight but why is now mike fake like back in action uh why because it's my time again that's it really um it's in london o2 the biggest cage roy's events are happening in london all the time and i'm on each and every single one of them so i'm just there to put on another great performance showcase what i've been working on and just be beating my last beating the last version of myself and uh proving that i am that number one guy and mike what do you make of the main event hardwick versus driscoll uh who does he win that fight and uh would you fancy a trip over to the us over to san diego to maybe fight ed driscoll if he came out the victor yes if they give me the title shot with against him if he wins then yeah of course i'll go to america i don't mind going anywhere as long as it's for the belt and then what do i think of that event the main event um i think george hardwick has proved himself in cage warriors and then the other guy i don't know his name but i i don't know how many fights he had in cage warriors i don't know where he fought before and to come into a new promotion and get a pretty much an immediate title shot without proving yourself against the guys that are already in the promotion i think that's a bit strange when i when i'm here on the firefight win streak and um in cage warriors and the seven fight win streak outside of cagery so i think it should have been me but it is what it is um my objective now is aggie and defeating him and then after we'll have another chat and i'm 100 confident that the title short is next yeah in fairness to carl driscoll he actually does have uh a win on on the cage warriors banner and he was previously uh on dana white's contender series and he won there as well and didn't get signed so he's uh he's on a good decent one himself i'm not saying he deserves it more than you mike so don't be coming for me now but uh yeah talk about ross mike i don't know the guy but i haven't seen him on cage warriors yeah he's over in the san diego he's over he was over fighting it when cage warrior is over in america and i have to be very careful to not separate the two because otherwise graham boy them will be my dm's giving out speed they're all the same thing typical yeah typical typical uh jimmy what's it like trying to run the gym with dan and get ready for a fight at the same time it's been good it's been good i like roosevelt dan's helped me out no end and josh and i've got loads of great coaches at the gym so uh it's been work of course but like it wants to work and um and train you know what i mean but uh now it's been good been a great atmosphere energy everything up and down to the london shoot as well um i'm really really happy how the camp's gone um yeah like pretty smooth like no injuries and stuff and performance and performing well in in my spas and cardio and stuff like that so it's been a really good camp man and uh yeah room has been no issue at all and uh is there any chance we see down dust off the gloves uh soon is that why diego sanchez still happened yeah i believe it's postponed to november don't quote me but yeah it was meant to happen was it last week or yeah last week the week before i got postponed because one that someone saw were injured or something so that's to minorities postponed to november i believe well again i'm not 100 but yeah he's he's uh he's back training and uh yeah he's lost some pudding and he's getting them getting them abs back and i think i'm starting to see a bit of a mohawk as well so i think he's uh i think he's uh yeah he's committed so that'd be exciting to see as well once the hair gets stored that's when you know it's it is really business that's it then you know it's business absolutely and uh mike what about uh your brother matt what will we see matt pack in the cage soon as well yeah soon yeah probably on the next event um probably looking at september and then whatever they have then uh he'll be back in paris it's impossible to have jim jimmy wild head on there and not to ask about dan hardy or to have mike fit like another mafia i feel like bro we have to know uh jimmy are you expecting a lot of people to come down and watch it for this fight as it will be your big return to cage warriors yeah i know i've sold a few tickets i know um i know most about using my link so i ain't getting much money but um they're uh i know there's a lot coming and uh yeah it's basically a good atmosphere i'm expecting a good atmosphere and uh hopefully the crowd get behind me obviously being the british fighter as well and the local fighter and stuff so i'm expecting a good a good uh a good atmosphere and some big cheers and uh i can deliver and uh they can spur me onto victory yeah i'm sure we'll have a few uh down from the gym um and what about yourself mike will there be a trojan army coming down to to watch you do this yeah there is i have a few people coming over and they'll make some noise and i think the rest of the crowd will join as well just like they did last time every time i pretty much threw a combination everyone was going off so that's exactly what i'm planning on doing now again that that is what we'd love to hear we like to hear a ruptured audience in the venue and the indigo is a is a great venue for the crowd to get behind their fighters yeah ross i was going to say that like the last london event we were at was brilliant the belfast card was great as well like can this event be it we will find out on the 22nd of july live on ufc pass absolutely uh jimmy tell us this when you when you step into that ox gone on the night across from daniel sabinski how did you get the job done um how do i get the job done um i can't pick a certain way i think it's going to be a tough fight i think we're pretty evenly matched in all areas um i do i can't believe i'm a bit better everywhere um a little bit more experience so uh i'm i'm aiming to take the fight where it needs to be took and uh i'm just looking forward to it man like he's gonna have to dig deep to beat me but i don't fall over you know so uh let's uh let's see how it pans out but i'm expecting i'm expecting to win if that means grind him out for decision i'll do that it means knocking around the first i'll do that whatever it takes man i'm going to win this fight i'm not coming back just just to come back i ain't [ __ ] done the last 14 weeks of graft to uh to lose lose next friday so um yeah whatever it takes man i don't know i can't tell you how but i can knock him out and i could grind and pound him out and i could sub him so i can't even choose the train i i think you're i think you're actually uh 11 knockouts 10 subs and 10 decisions like you like to you like having the even keel amount of air good balance on my lap tell us this jimmy uh did don hardy bring you into the war room to uh prepare for this fight and break down uh around a little two-minute chat yeah [Laughter] i can only i can only imagine the error of the footage that dan hardy would uh break down for your buddha and mike tell us this uh how do you defeat the former arcade warriors lightweight champion aggiesadari come july 22nd i'm gonna get to finish 100 i'm looking for the finish every minute of the fight i think i'm better in all aspects of mma so i think the finish will come eventually if he survives to the second round it'd be second round but um i'm looking for the finish i'm looking to cement myself as the number one guy and i want to make a statement and did you watch his fight against joe mccolgan and did you take anything away from that yes i watched that fight um i did take a few things away from that fire and then you'll see how i'll implement my game plan on friday unbelievable lads buzz this is such a star sort of event for the cage warriors rosters no it always is ross like that's why we love covering it that's why we have to make sure we got jimmy on the show i'm liking the show uh before we wrap up the show lads uh ross has an announcement to make as well yeah um come july 23rd uh ufc london will be actually hosting um the official ufc fight pass watch party it will be happening 26 league street if you google ufc watch party uh you'll be able to buy tickets still you'll be ufc belt will be there there'll be some form of ufc athlete there it's just not that nailed down who it is once we know you'll know and you meet us there um i'm sure we'll have some pairs of energized either or but make sure to be somewhere watching ufc london because that's going to be an absolute banger but again get to cage warriors night before because you're going to see these two boys fight
