something introduce the guest man today today we are bringing you Irish boxing sensation 11 and0 undefeated the one and only King Callum Walsh Callum how you doing board welcome home yeah thanks very much back again it's been a while back again except this time there's a difference you're boxing home soil um correct me if wrong first time H in your professional career and you're going to Main Event in the tree Arena it's it's all coming up King k m these days isn't it yeah you know it's it's unbelievable it's been a long time coming you know it's been a long time coming and uh Friday night is here yeah colum we've had you on the show loads of times I've been talking about the homecoming how did this all come about you know like I said it's been a long time coming you know it was always that was always the goal you know to get back home for a fight and the reason it's happening is is Dana White you know he's the man that's that's pushing it everybody you know Tom and them all were were saying oh maybe next year maybe next year and uh when theya one when Dana wants something it's going to happen you know when Dana White wants something to happen it's going to happen and he pushed for it and we're here now Friday night uh we're are you slightly disappointed it wasn't in the sphere yeah he could have brought the sphere over with a man yeah that that that was an absolutely incredible uh event but uh this this one's going to be a banger on its own right um tell us this how could do also feel to like help other Irish talent uh like your emth brandan your Thomas Cy and provide another Big Show in the three Arena because so far I think uh in recent times it's only been ktie Taylor who's been in the three Arena it's obviously one of the biggest venues Ireland has in the indoor arena now you're bringing that here do you think that that like Irish boxing fans are really going to get behind this event yeah I know they should you know because it's not just for me it's for for for the country in general it's for for for all the up up andc coming Fighters you know we're putting on a lot of them here on this on this show you know and uh we're going to continue to do it the future you know I think we need to have at least one a year you know here in Ireland and keep putting on up and coming Fighters and bring back that buzz of of big shows and and and professional boxing in Ireland you know yeah AB absolutely and like you're doing an absolute Stellar job over it and like you mean like you you've definitely shown that there's uh I know many many ways to skin a cat as they say you know I mean you're taking a totally different route you you built your career over in the states and now you're bringing it back and towards Ireland which is unbelievable and you know we could always deal with another combat sport Superstar and that's what we have and obviously as you touched on a massive part of that is down to Dana White how was your relationship from when you first met Danny White developed to today yeah you know it's it's been very good you know it's it's getting better and better every fight you know cuz I'm continuing to win I'm going out there and Performing and I'm knocking people out you know and uh and they're like you know I'm doing I'm doing my part and uh like like you see now Dana's to do his you know his support and he's making big things happen for me you know I just have to keep going out there and and and winning yeah absolutely and not only are you winning you're winning in devastating style I think them one thing is H what will definitely make Danny White happy is you going in there and fighting fighting with h looking for that knockout is that what you're expecting come come Fight Night you looking for The Knockout come Friday night yeah absolutely you know I'm fighting a fell that's never been stopped before you know he's never been finished and uh I'm going to go out there and and try to make a big statement you know for my own career for myself and and to show the other people that I am the real deal you know that I am taking tough fights and I'm and I'm and I'm finishing them how I should you know and obviously you're taking on premis law rowski do you reckon this guy is going to be on the Run uh all Friday night you know I'm I'm not sure I'm not sure why he's uh he's going to do it my belt is is on the line you know so I'm hoping that he comes in and tries to take the belt you know and he comes forward and uh and I'll meet him right there you know I I'm going to defend my belt in my own country you know I'm not going to to let him take that belt back to Poland yeah Callum you were obviously just back in Cove and you were visiting one of the local gyms what was it like going in and like after like going off to America and coming back and now about to headline the tree Arena yeah it's crazy know especially we were at my my old Boxing Club there riverone Boxing Club yesterday and and I had Freddy roach in there you know holding pads for the kids like it's it's crazy you know it's like I was I was looking at it like all along it was like training with Freddy and that was the big thing and then I got used to it you know cuz I was there every day and I was seeing Freddy every single day and then when we went to the club yesterday and I looked in the ring and I seen Freddy just holding pads for the the young Irish kids I realized again like this is crazy you know that's Freddy roach like in there training kids in car you know it's it's crazy you know the stuff that the stuff that I'm doing at at such a young age I'm 23 and and being bble to do this is is is crazy you probably don't realize it well like you probably have created stories for people to tell down in Cork for years like you know I mean they they're going to you know those six seven eighty olds are going to be telling you know their grandkids that you know Freddy roach one of the greatest trainers if not the greatest trainer of all time I was he held the PS for me down in Cork down down Rivertown Boxing Club and that's going to be like a story that will live on their memory forever and you did that for them and one thing I do want to ask is obviously you had coaches in that gym and it looked like from the greeting you had they're still there uh did they ever say what when you came back to they say oh we always saw that something special in you or did they go wow you've really made something yourself yeah I know they always they always say that that they knew that I was I was going to be good you know that I was that I had the potential you know to go all the way and uh so I won I won six Irish titles with them you know I wanton the European gold medal with them coaches and I know I come back and I still train at the same gym you know what when I'm home and you know being able to bring Freddy roach there yesterday was uh was unbelievable yeah did the coaches say to you you still sound like you have the same accent or do they think you sound a bit of American these days dude I I still have the same accent right say I'd say when I'm in America it probably slows it probably slows down a bit it probably slows down a bit because they can't understand but I'd say one because I got back actually and I was talking to I was talking to someone in the in the club and Freddy was like we you speaking English there I was like yeah we were just talking faster you just can't you can't understand Freddy's going to have to catch up but for the people tuning in they can watch King colum Walsh return home live on UC F pass this Friday the 20th and also you can still get tickets myself and Ross will be there Ross we're EXT we're looking forward to this very very much so yeah I can't wait like you know we've we've been watching on UFC F pass for so long Callum we've had on the show so many times I I think you've probably been on the show more times than anyone who we haven't seen live compete so uh that that we're really really looking forward to that and we can't wait to see it um obviously uh you know you're part of a power couple now a power sport Combat Sports power coup now with tabat richichi as well is tabat coming over for the fight yeah she's in London at the moment uh with her family but uh should be here Wednesday yeah Wednesday and tell us this does that relationship really help you stay say on top of things and stay on top of your training stay on top of your diet when you have two athletes in the one place yeah it do you know uh you know we live together and um she's always in training I'm always in training so it's it makes it a lot easier know especially when like I see her she get if she if say no one day I train early and I get B to bed early then she's thinking right know I might as well get up and go and do something too you know or it's like if she has an earlier session to me one day when she wakes up I'm like feeling bad you know and I'm like [ __ ] I should probably get up now and just go for a run well you know it's like always trying to like one up each other but it's good you know I don't want to let her train three times in a day and I only train twice or whatever you know so it's like it's constantly like pushing each other and uh especially yeah like you said with the diet and stuff you know all the food in the house is clean because we're both constantly training you know it's not like it's not like if you had someone else you know and I was I was training for a fight and they're not even an athlete you know and they're eating takeway and everything and I'm I'm like for [ __ ] sake I can't eat any of it but yeah so it's definitely helps a lot you know that we're both um we both have the same goals that sounds like Ross's relationship doesn't it Ross yeah exactly exactly we're we're we're both trying to get up earlier than the other um but uh fair fair play to her as well also because uh she's CL that UFC strawweight division as well she picked up a win over Angela Hill there recently so uh fair fair play to her do do you get motivation from her success and does she get motivation from yours as well yeah absolutely you know 100% especially when we see how hard we work you know cuz we we understand how hard the bo of us work you know so when see her getting the way and it's like I know cuz it's hard for like a lot of people are going to watch me Friday night but they don't understand how hard I've actually worked to get that win you know when whereas when you understand and you see somebody training every day you see how hard they're working you see them cutting the weight you know all the stuff that that's hard you know all the sacrifices that when you see them win then you can appreciate it a lot more you know so I think that's why you know we we see we go through it together and then when when I get the win or she gets to win we we uh we appreciate a lot because we we know how hard it is yeah well the two is it's actually great to see from the outside looking in because the two are growing and keep winning at the same time uh and the thing is some people may not actually know you colum which is which is crazy to see because like you're all over the uc's Instagram as well but like can for the people tuning in now can you expl tell us let us know the first time you met Dana White what how that how that um how the conversation go down yeah so I signed the contract with Tom offler he was working on a UFC Fight Pass deal with with Dana then he brought me down to to meet Dana because obviously Dana's connection with the Irish Fighters you know so it made sense and uh I talked today and I showed him some my amateur fights and um he came on board with howad whiskey sponsorship after that and then he came and seen me fight and he seen me doing what I'm doing and and he talked obviously him and Freddy roach have a great relationship too you know so he talked to Freddy and asked like if how good was and whatever CU he knows Freddy's at a a stage of his career where he's just not taking on anybody you know yeah so then Dan I wanted to to come on board and and help my career support my career 100% yeah no it is for for people tuning in they will definitely remember the name King K come Friday Night Live from the tree Arena won't they Ross absolutely how could you not like um you know you've been on a meteoric r um I don't think there's been a boxer in Irish history who's taking the pro scene scene like storm the way you have K really really is Uber impressive is the only way I can describe it and like look like you've headline show in Boston you fought in Madison Square Garden you're coming home to headline the three Arena like you've done a lot in 11 fights so with with that how frequently would you see how frequently you would you see yourself fighting back home in Ireland and is there other any other venues H in the world that you'd like to tick off a bucket list yeah you know ideally for me I'd love to face once a year in New York you know Mass G garden and and once back here you know and and I can tip away wherever else then you know but ideally once a year in massive gregard and once a year back here in Ireland don't forget those New York tax are slightly higher so from business point of view you know you have to make sure what those mind those books you know twice a year back here so I love it I love it and then thanks for that M we appreciate no no worries you give me you give me the 10% extra on the side H Tom ler move over Tom as well shout out to Tom as well what it like yeah what's it like going around going around AR with Tom but yes Gran you know uh they had to drive yesterday they were trying to they were following me down to down to Cork you know we had to have two cars for the team yeah and he was doing a bit of driving but I says yeah I wouldn't let him go by himself like with that obviously uh Tom laugher um maybe some you know casual fans don't know who he is but when you say the name the Klitschko brothers in Triple G like he looked after their career and he's done an absolute Stellar job he's probably someone also who doesn't take on too many clients uh too lightly how did you get involved with Tom and then also like how good does it feel to know that he's looked after careers such as theirs now he's looking after yours yeah absolutely Tom doesn't have many fighters at all you know and um he just gave me an opportunity to to make my Pro debut on on one of his shows you know when with no contract just just an opportunity and um I finished the fight in 25 seconds or something like that you know and uh that was December and then they were having the St Patrick's Day show and I finished that fight in 30 seconds or something as well so I think I signed the contract after that they were like hey token Irish kid you're on this card we we have no fake American Irish people on the card we need a real one yeah that was it don't tell anyone we're fake Irish but uh C like you're always looking ahead there's always like shows like coming up is there any other dates that you're looking at that you want to get back out there again yeah know I think after after after this fight um I think this will be my what did I fight my third fight this year already you know um 10 round fights I'm fighting too you know so I'm not so I I don't know I think I'll get this one out the way and uh have a few things to do you know heal up the body stuff like that and uh hopefully get back in there maybe St Patrick's Day you know next year here's an idea and Dana White if you're listen St Patrick's Day March 17th maybe that weekend I don't know what the way is R up 2025 the sphere but instead of doing the no you do like a historic look at Ireland on the screen in between flights I think it would go down I actually only said that to someone yesterday yeah I think it would be absolutely class like telling the story of Ireland with like fights in the middle of it will be absolutely epic yeah and you know what you do a UFC and you do a UFC fo pass 360 promotions cross promotion and you had the Irish guys who fight in the UFC and callman a handful of boxers both on the same card I don't know whether I don't know whether you have the boxers box inside the cage or what you do would you box Inside the Cage that matter yeah just you just you just throw on the UFC gloves and just box though just straight boxing well I don't know we could come up with some way if they although I'm sure the UFC production team is so good they could transform an a ring into an octagon and beding two minutes flat oh yeah say form one the P the Wales yeah exactly exactly so but like I'd love to see something like that I'd love to see like the history of Ireland held in this spere but like obviously with combat being such a massive thing with a a combat sport main event I I think Dana White would love it as well yeah I would it would be unbelievable yeah be unbelievable K you're obviously quite busy at M so we're going to wrap up things shortly I just want to ask you do you know what the sort of production is going to be like in the tree Arena as well and and also what can we sort of expect from the night on the 20th this Friday yeah you know with Dana here and everything it's going to be ran exactly like a like a UFC you know it's going to be you know in boxing sometimes you have long breaks in between the fights you know or how you could have like it's it's bad to say you know but like you could have 10 [ __ ] fights like and then you just have the one good Main Event you know people are half asleep by the time the main event comes around you know but like this car is stacked from the very first fight of the night to my main event you know the the car is stacked and the way it's going to be ran exactly like UFC people are going to see the difference you know between your average boxing card and Dana White involved boxing card you know whereas there's good fights start to finish quick turnaround back to back the crowd is going to be they're going to appreciate it on the energy is going to be high for for when I make the walk yeah we were we were just at the Katy Taylor's last fight in the tree Arena when she won and uh like you could tell it was a very very boxing heavy fan base like Russ just coming this weekend what what do you think it's going to be sort of a cross between MMA fans and boxing fans or would you think it would just be more boxing fans I don't know I feel like the Combat Sports Fan is ever evolving and I think more combat sports fans like both Sports and I think like Callum is actually a very good person to transition MMA fans into boxing that makes because obviously he's highly associated with the UFC obviously highly associated with Dan White he fights on UFC Fight Pass which is primarily MMA obviously they have dju and other forms of combat but I think a lot of UFC fans will probably come and watch Callum fight did this time out but obviously you have your hardcore boxing fans as well and like they should be attending the show as well obviously colum's well known the boxing space you also have you know Emma Brennan uh and you also have Thomas Cy who are two open and coming uh Stars you know like there's there's a lot of undefeated fighters on this card and I don't think anyone wants to give up that out anytime soon no um colum for the people that want to watch the event or they're going to be going to the event or they're going to be tuning in uh what can you say to the people that are tuning in now yeah I can just say like you get your tickets you know they on Ticket Master get it's going to be worth it you know it's going to be it's going to be worth worth the money because like I said every single fight is going to be an exciting fight there are going to be good fights and it's going to be worth the money you know and and Dana White's going to be there you know Dana White I have Freddy roach in my corner Tom laugher you know the team that I'm bringing they put on this show it's it's going to be it's going to be the start of uh of something good you know in AR you know bringing back big boxing Shores and and getting that Bzz around the Irish boxing again the crowning of the king in ARL man absolutely yeah and like I'm pretty sure I was on T Master day and I saw tickets were like 40 quid or something like that that's out AG to go from when he saw like an absolute steal to see King cams absolutely run through premise law yeah abely I say there's boys who spending 40 on worse things you know than the ticket for a fight so ex exactly and support what Z and support the lads on the undercard and the women as well think it's it's going to be a great show and we all know the production is going to be high level and like sure for 40 quid sometimes wouldn't get into an amateur show you know what I mean so this is going to be uh one the one the events the year so get down to three Arena make sure to get to see it yeah I'm sure Dana is going to get absolutely hounded for UC Dublin as well absolutely yeah definitely he's gonna be he's gonna get a bad one for that yeah no well Callum best of skill this Friday we that was King W your favorite boxer man look I think he's he's a guy who at times maybe gets unfairly criticized due to the push but like at the end of the day if there's an Irish fighter getting pushed to the the hilt by uh one of the best PRS in the world I'm here for it you know what I mean like I'm not going to sit here and be I don't know jealous of them or be you know like be SM be smurged them and saying like oh he doesn't deserve that I think he's lived up to his end of the bargain he's fighting progressively better Fighters at each time which is what combat sports fans as for out of athletes and he's getting a chance to put on a show in Dublin to provide a platform for other boxers to compete on like if anything he should be very much commended and like that Arena like and Bren Thomas Cy H is it Sean o'keef yeah yeah like they wouldn't have the opportunity to F in this card if it wasn't for K msh so like you know I mean a bit of respect should be putting his name bring money into the economy you know what like I I haven't seen any Irish people say anything bad about him I think it's like the the MMA sphere excuse the pa um I think people don't like don't like them being rammed down their throat effectively but like yeah but like even even Irish Fighters they they love hating on the Irish Fighters like just I don't know because they're all associated with Conor in some sort of way because they're so small but uh no it is going to be a great event um obviously it's been brought to you by UC fo pass on this Friday so uh Ross is actually going to the media day on the Thursday and then we will both be there on the Friday so uh like we're both buzzing for it and it's it's we're also going to be celebrating Ross's birthday that night as well so if you see Ross in the arena on the Friday you have to say happy birthday because it's Ross birthday on the Wednesday Ross no better way to spend your birthday watching Combat Sports and being feeling very energized you better believe it B you better believe it I can't wait for it I think it's gonna be a great know fights on looking forward to yeah we have to try and get Dana in a picture with the glasses absolutely should be buzzing for them he'd be wearing them all the way home on the PJ man but um Ross over the weekend you oh if sorry if you are going to the event let us know uh also if you're new incredible um I thought it was like really cool speal to watch um I thought was very interesting the even though the camera angles were the same like it just the different backgrounds when you were watching the fights I thought I thought they were they were cool it felt even though I know they say if you're in this spere and you're watching the fights on the screen as they say like it looks sort of 3D or whatever but like I know I had a different feel to a different look to it when I was watching the fights live I thought it looked really really cool I thought they made it really really special and I thought the sort of Mexican culture and history going on the screens in the background I thought that was that was pretty cool as well and I don't know I thought the UFC killed at the production team you know what I mean uh for me it was like 10 out of 10 on the production I uh I hope they do another event in this spere like I'd be intered to see you almost do like a quote regular event in the sphere and see how that goes down um but yeah obviously it cost 20 million to do so like that's Absol astronomical but only only yeah it it sort of looked like it was like an award show in some sort of way yeah like had a massive special field to I I feel like a minimum needs to be an annual thing or something like that yeah you know what I actually though now you said award out I think that would actually be the perfect place to do like UFC Hall of Fame and like that person's career comes up on the on on the screen I think that could be really really cool um yeah like the event and also like kicked off by rail Rose's jior as well getting a win I thought that was like a great way to kick off tonight as well I feel like obviously he's like got the most wins as a teenager in UFC history now um he's obviously a bit of a Starlet for the UFC I don't know if he has like the skills but like to move on like shano Mar but it almost feels like sort of a shaali esque push from the contender series he seems to be one of the most pushed guys and uh you know he he's racked up a few W's now so uh let's see how he he goes and then like I suppose the last three fights were the ones that really had um sort of stipulations in their divisions um Diego Lopez against Brer haga looked like Diego Lopez looked like a man possessed um I think he knocked out BR T and then woke him up with the same combo uh that was actually wild I also think like his hair when he's fighting like makes makes it him look like even more of a wild man uh but look obviously he's made a massive statement in the featherweight division H featherweight is obviously DED to get new contenders obviously we have Doria versus Holloway at UFC 308 volcanos is waiting in the WIS Wings who knows maybe volkanovski versus [ __ ] Lopez could be next to featherway uh I definitely watch it um it would also give vulcanos A new challenge uh which would be more than welcome sure I don't think anyone would hate that being a co-main event in a in a pay-per-view and then if you go into the co-main event Valentin and shenko basically shut out Alexa Grasso and there was obviously that there was that one moment with the guillotine that looked really tight but uh shenko rode that wave and she got her back were you surprised with that that result going into the fight I actually thought Gro was going to win to be honest I thought the younger fighter who won the last fight I thought she'd win this one but um it was like a Valentin more Valentina v um she's obviously an Elite Talent and great to see her back on top I think she's a fan favor and I think she's definitely won the most interesting character out of all the women in the UFC one of the best dancers in the UFC as well yeah followed by one the other best aners the UFC M Ross the main event yeah um this had a a few funny moments that morab was sort of uh the initiator of and there was OB a moment at the start of the fight where he's visibly having an argument with Tim Welsh in his corner and that was quite funny and kissing John omali on the back and then like om Ali getting up and like getting a one or two punches off before the end of the Bell um tried the spin and wheel kick which is all m is famous for gave the the the missing the missing sort of the look away as missed some strikes on him so look morab absolutely shut him down like his wrestling I think was just too much for omad omad spent a lot of time on his back and I just think look nightmare stylistic match from I think with the buildup uh with morab and omadi like I felt like the two of them built the fight quite well and I also felt like people were more I think people were giving omali probably more credit than he maybe should have got and I think people were almost discrediting morab in certain aspects to be honest that was my sort of take on it in the buildup to the fight yeah I feel like people were saying morab just to take down that s it type thing and then I feel like people were saying chanal is going to be like too much for him he's going to be able to you know pick him up part with punches and basically do what he wants some type of thing on the feet and I just don't think that was the case well going into it every week myself and Ross pick who do they think is going to win the main event unless it's like a toil co- main event as well so like going into it I thought shenko win actually won and then Ross actually thought morab would win so like like a lot of the buildup a lot of the hype was that sha amal's going to win but knockout why did you think morab was going going to win and did win I just thought like his his ability to set the pace and go for takedowns I thought was going to be the deciding factor and that's what it was you know what I mean um I think he had a take down nearly every round um you got the job done and it's it's not so much the take Downs that he does get it's all the ones that he doesn't get he's constantly shooting and with the constant shoots create constant all [ __ ] and scrambles and I just think that sort of is a very overwhelming St to have to fight try and fight against and do you think like we obviously put a PO out today asking who should morab fight next should it be either Devon figuro or Umar n magov um how come when you made that artwork beautiful artwork by the way how come you didn't put a sh how come you didn't put a Shaun and M rematch in there I just thought the the fight was decisive enough that Shan Ali should probably go fight someone else to come back and get get a rematch to be honest um like I also the fight wasn't exactly super sexy so therefore I feel I feel when the fight's a bit sexier or when it's a bit closer and like there's it's less oneid I think that's more what would draw people in to look for an immediate rematch I don't think anyone's going to watch that straight away again well at the moment it's 80% people want to see Umar and the Mago versus morab that's actually a decent fight it absolutely is um one thing I will say is like Naga made off has a win over Cory Sagen right and like that's about it right and he's got up to ranked two in the division like the other side things is Devon figuro has wins over Marlon Vera Cody garbrandt and Rob Fountain R I actually think that Figo actually has a stronger resume but the much sexier match is definitely it just be wrestle against wrestle so like where H versus H yeah so I just I just think like Davidson would just be taken down a lot so it's hard to predict than n magov versus morab but uh speaking of sha as well Ross another another Irishman who who do you think he should fight next maybe he should f and Figo on the winner of for the belt next like that's a great St I think that one's an absolute Banger and also I think maybe put on the same card a force does a pull out when those step in there we go Russ you're gonna have to say this Dan when we see him on Friday swinging Al him with a headlock absolutely couple other fights that were announced very very juicy fights we'll start with John Johnson from me yeah I think one thing that I want to see with that UFC 309 is that Tom aspel fights as the co- Main Event so therefore if there's a pull out Tom aspel is in or alternatively he's just the backup to that fight um as much as they announc it what are the chances that that fight actually goes down at that date I think it's 5050 to be honest so if you're Tom ASP right now you would just be like here I'm just being The the Reserve yeah I think or alternate yeah okay the alternate yeah I think so yeah and then massive Ross especially the RM May community Chandler versus liera will be on this card as well yeah big time so we're not getting McGregor versus um Chandler I've also seen that I've seen reports that either Connor or Dana said that like he won't be fighting till January February the earliest and I've seen another one say he won't be fighting December January or February so could be March 2025 before he's back out there I just want to see him get something booked like obviously talking about fighting bkfc as well so like he's obviously itching to get something done um I feel like there's a bit of tension with Connor saying he has two fights left in his deal so I feel like UFC aren't dying for him to be a free agent um but we'll see how things go you know what I mean um I'm all forward I want to see him in the cage sooner rather than later and look maybe he mixes things up maybe Connor returns and he fights Nick Diaz or he fights Tony Ferguson or or you know I mean who knows who he fights next but like what if you what if he fight someone lower down the rankings to sort of who was also on a bit of a either a skid or a or an extended break before he gets back in there against one of the top 10 division well Nate is still a free agent and um masal announced he come back as well yeah i' be i' be all for any of those fights yeah like Chandler couldn't wait around any longer us like tr's couple years old than Connor yeah he's he's Wai long ran far too long like but you know the unfortunate thing is like a lot of people lost out when Conor injured himself cuz that's why yeah but it's hard when you have such a large tangling cart in front of you it's hard to walk away from it oh large bottle of whiskey or for or still um there is no UC this weekend but also over the weekend B Tour London went down now for the people tuning in Derk Kelly and Kieran Clark both won um we had Kieran Clark on the show last week and we were discussing the situation between Liam mccort being the main event and then her situation with Ryan Curtis and how like you can go back and listen Ryan shared it on Twitter and Instagram and a lot of people came in had a look as well so uh that was interesting to see how social media Works um the power people have but then in the main event Leah lost and the way okay the situation with Leah and Ryan right allegedly is um doesn't look good for Leah right but like in seeing her lose I didn't take any gratitude I sorry I didn't take any like I wasn't like happy in her in her in losing I saw some people like really really basking in it not not that like I've venting against them lot lot of these people are very post on but uh just for people tuning in now I wasn't like yes Leah L I was actually like I don't think she should have been in that situation main eventon I don't think she's that caliber of fighter but uh what did you make of the last R I thought it was fairly one-sided I thought it was fairly devastated I thought Sarah Collins looked really really good and I feel like maybe the fight could have been stopped via strikes beforehand um obviously Leah has a lot her plate with people com for all over all the socials um she hasn't come out and addressed it um I I always think if you have something like that and you know you're the innocent party you should address it head on and make some form statement but uh we haven't seen anything from her directly um which I don't think is helping her case at all uh obviously you know Ryan Curtis is a very much Lov figure in in Irish M May and his Mass personality and on top of that like also like seeing his recovery is so inspirational so many so you know him constantly winning a battle that he shouldn't and then you know the the accusations being made online about the Gund me Etc and like her saying silent that like doesn't really put many people in her Camp I don't think no put it this way from a PR point of view her sitting there saying nothing well you know all these people online making accusations against her doesn't really do her any favors yeah it just really wasn't handle well and no defin it definitely wasn't and I don't think her being thrusted into the main event helped either I think if she was co-main event it wouldn't have been as bad either yeah yeah it was actually unfortunate for her that she got promoted into that situation but yeah exactly so losing like that as well un like she's totally getting CAU out of that toil like situation now as well exactly yeah and now like I don't know cuz I think she's been limbo now in that division uh cuz she was obviously one of the larger names in that division Cyborg's already fighting CH Pacho next like she was annoying probably to fight the winner of that uh obviously she was scheduled to fight cyborg in Belfast at one stage and then that didn't that hadn't that sort of fell through so now she fought basically number one Contender fight and fell down the Peck and order so uh look if if if I could see any fight with our next I'd like to hear a fight snake having in rematch I think that's what i' like to see that's the that's the one the thing is with Bellator seeing all them comments coming in now like when you look at bellator's social media like they don't get many comments so when you get those type of comments like those type of allegations like you're going to notice she's like a she's like a Bellator darling though if you know I mean like the Bellator promotion love her yeah so do you think they'll they'll be putting around more broadcast presenting cuz these comments are like you can't miss them well first of all like I think after that loss probably won't see her for at least three or four months i' say type thing um and secondly like probably not if you know what I mean as in like if someone's getting that much heat and that much sort of abuse in the comment section there's other people that could do the job that won't warrant that amount of heat that amount of negative press you know what I mean so probably will get less less of that work from d and batt so it'll be interesting to see but that's only my opinion on it yeah you don't think should be you don't think you'll see her on R season though over where Paul Hughes be facing AJ mcke no probably not to honest prob not but uh yeah I suppose maybe we just give a quick touch on uh the two orish lads who fought in the card and then we'll get into Paul Hughes back and forth um obviously huge um huge wins for Derk Hedy and Karen Clark derck Hedy was actually the underdog going into the fight I didn't actually realize he was the underdog but uh he put on absolute performance uh one thing I did see which uh not a massive fan as of he won take down of the night I know I know they're sponsored by Tak down clothing but uh unless there's a prized for that don't be announcing that like someone won something because if there's no monetary of it in my opinion I don't think that's that should be going on your broadcast it's a bit like um I described it as H Sky Sports or Sky TV's Ireland man the match when we lose 2-0 is a like it's some sort of like booby prize that like it's almost insulting be like oh what you did was incredible but you win nothing you know what I mean um so don't worry you lost the fight you came second yeah so take down or Bellator need to like even if it's like a a two grand bonus or something like that for the takeown of the night or he wins ,000 voucher for takedown CL type thing you know I mean something like that but like if they're going to make an award and use his likeness to promote a brand he should be rewarded with something for it yeah and then the other one kieren Clark H obviously kieren Clark um another late noce ponent change um and he was a veteran he was 12 and S um and you know we were if he he was booked against this guy from the start we probably would have criticized at saying this guy's like record like isn't what we're looking for but uh he was tough and uh he put up a go fight for the first couple rounds but uh there's something about kieren Clark that like when it goes into deep Waters like he swims and his opponent drown and uh he was unfortunate not to get a finish in the third round he was all over him uh 108 in the in the last round in my box um great team got a win but it would be nice for him to not have to fight someone last minute and not have to fight the catch way but again like this one again totally out of his hand so you know zero blame should go on him on it just uh unfortunate circumstances yeah also Fair shout out to DAR for taking so many groin shots and still being G still being able to go and celebrate Bal the steel fell Bal Steels and then Kieran Clark 10 and0 10 and0 Ross was also announced Paul Hugh is taking on AJ mcke over in Saudi Arabia yeah uh um what's make of that fight and they had it back and forth as well yeah um it's happened a few times with sort of the pfl belor broadcast that like it looks like they're wrapping things up and then it's almost like someone gets a word in the year they need to go for a minute or two I don't know if you watched it live bar but uh it sort of kept extending the conversation even though it me like a natural end or whatever uh but I thought Paul Hughes won the back and forth I think it's probably easier to win the back and forth when you're uh the person there live uh versus the person via Zoom um Paul Hugh made some funny like sort of Call of Duty references and then then he you know Paul us will call himself the young L and then AJ mck said lions are lazy there was a bit of a few noise back and forth very respectful and obviously Paul 's said like look I'm the underdog R this time um for the first time in my career I'm really realish in this opportunity and then you know AJ mck was saying I'm the mercenary I'm going to show you why I'm called the mercenary so I think um it was very respectful yet playful back and forth I felt like you know Paul hes competitive spirit and nature comes out and these back and forth that as things progress in the conversation the more he doesn't want to let his opponent away with sort of anything you know I mean he he he he gives No Quarter same the way he does fighting same way he does on the mic he doesn't want anyone to ever get a oneup over him and I felt like between the exchange I felt like Paul use won the exchange but also again like one criticism on have of Bor pfl just like the setup that AJ had like it literally looked like he was about to play a game of Call of Duty there was no you know could put on a ring light type of thing and you know looks a bit more professional than what we were getting they get him to zoom in a lot I know yeah and they also get him to do like give uh sort of feedback on the fight and stuff like that but to me when when they get big John to do it when he's at home like his setup looks so professional if that makes sense you know it's not as he looks like he's in the studio as opposed to AJ mcke looks like he could give his camera wipe and you know turn off Call of Duty for a second like yeah but even if they got into wear like oh put on a Bellator Hat type thing you know me something yeah so yeah a for yeah exactly um so that that's my thought on overall what you make of the battle tour events uh I didn't really feel too much of a buzz off like obviously I watched the first two fights obviously the crowd's not that full and then I watched the last fight but um I'm going to call it five out of 10 maybe six out of 10 personally just because I enjoyed the Irish Lads Wiman yeah there's nothing better than when the Irish win as well yeah um speaking of Irish M events just over the weekend your Fighting Championship went down yesterday de molan always putting on some gold scraps but in the main event Jess poo from Sand MMA won on his Pro debut Ross yeah he did um look Jess has collected nearly all the belts in the ametra scene um he's won cage conflict belt he's woron Euro belt he's worn Premier belt like he's I'm pretty sure he's W cage Legacy belts like he he's won an absolute rake of bels as an amateur he's made the jump Pro he is someone who I think will do better as a pro than he did as an amateur as in I feel like he'll be able to explore full skills better I think uh he's someone who from top position um would have been I maybe less active as you would like him to be but I feel like now the has the opportunity to throw the elbows I feel like we're going to see a much more dangerous version of Jess poo and I also feel like even the even like Up Against the Cage like defensive wrestling like be able to throw elbows in and just the way he snuck in the GU in there like he didn't look that nervous for his Pro debut he looked very comfortable in there and look at lightweight he's a big boy as well so he's going to be a problem there yeah and uh your Fighting Championships announced there are going to be back in December so Christmas special baby we'll keep you posted on that this weekend just before we head off to onor marry way Ross freay colum wals tree Arena make sure to tune in like I mean first of all you're you're gonna want to see what sort of Productions going down here uh but also that night cage Wars 177 unplugged is on that's in Manchester uh on the card currently from AR is Adam shell uh there's also talk that Conor McCarthy is going to be making his k Warriors debut as well at the moment he hasn't got an opponent but um we will keep you updated on that Ross will obviously post on the page just couple people look out for Jason Blair from nextg is going to be fighting on the card uh just solom s was meant to be on the card as well he had the pull out H he couldn't get an opponent sorry and um that that's going to be on UC fo pass as well but you can you can bet Bottom Dollar just check out the en Instagram see the fo nor this weekend you can bet your botm dollar the majority of people on UC fo pass be watching colum and then cage Wars 178 is on Saturday in Manchester Luke Royal headliner against Alexandre Jr um Yan Davis is on the card as well he want to watch out for uh darl Ward team KF and honey badgers taking on George mcmanis uh then also Matthew fril is on the card he is taking on Jordan Molinari I think that's the first fight of the night so that's Saturday night but also Saturday night as well Anthony Joshua is taking on du but what's even bigger Ross corks efc2 is going down being headlined by I think it's actually being headlined by uh it's it's not Brian Manning anymore Jack MCG think it's been headline by Jack MCG bro yeah well two two of u m Cork's finest um Jack m is a young veteran of the game and then obviously Brian Manning is an enigma of a fter h so look I'll be looking forward to seeing both those get out there and do their bits I expect two wins yeah they're the only two pro fights in the card um we will be posting more about that this week as well Ross that's a lot of Combat Sports man the week mean when you talk about covering MMA that's and even boxing that's a lot of action um also by the way Lee Hammond was meant to fight a well Fighting Championships uh grow have won that but like Lee didn't even mention he wasn't even on that card like that's oh he did eventually like the day before yeah yeah he put out a post it's just like we put the poster and like no one even said in and people were like Le and then in the comments people were like he pulled out it's like what um Ross another exciting week like bkfc was on there was boxing like Canelo won like the sphere I feel like canelo's like lost his start of power or something I tell you see you know what no one cares oh no yeah and your man banga like he actually like he banga like H you in yeah he was on the field as well knocks everyone out I I think I think it's actually just very important like obviously Callum has his thing now with Tom laugher and like who could turn that down you know I mean he's over in America Freddy roach to the works but I think like Irish FS they need to be basic like with more so Eddie Hearn like I think Frank Warren now that he's made to Eddie Hearn I think it's bit better but I think Eddie Hearn just like knows exactly what they're doing I think mat does a great job promoting with the with the with the social media Etc you know yeah but I I almost think Frank Warren does a better job with the lower tier guys I feel like Eddie Hearn gets the Mad rep because big rep because he has like your Joshua and your Taylor but I actually think on the lower end of things I think Frank Warren actually looks after the boxer slightly better but like that's only from an outside looking the in viw well look yeah but I just think I think what's most important is that we obviously Harry get promoted on the inside but on the outside as well so uh look the boxing isn't really our Forte but uh we will be covering it this Friday so i' say nothing that's it your birthday's next week and
