So, I should do this bit every day, but I generally do it every like two or three days. Um, and then I I have to give it a trim like twice a week as well. >> Yeah. Uh, correct me if I'm wrong, this will be your first light heavyweight defense. >> Yeah. >> Yeah. And a big one. Um, and we we to give to uh pull the curtain for the fans, the Energized fans at home. We're actually going to have Will on last week, but uh circumstance on our end came up that we didn't have a show, but uh Will, tell us what happened between last week and this week. >> Yeah. Well, it's a good thing we didn't record it last week because we would have been talking about a different flight. So, uh, last Monday at about 2:00 got a text saying Dishor is out. And I was thinking, Jesus Christ, nobody's going to take this, are they, so probably the fight's not going to happen. Um, fortunately then Mman Wolf stepped in and within two hours it was like, yeah, Murdov's up for it. We just need to get a contract agreed with him and then by 6:00. So within like four hours the whole thing was sorted. Um, I was originally pretty conspiratorial about it. I was like, m those boys, they were sparring together. They were training together. They're not in the same gym as each other, but they're like they cross train quite a bit. Um and Carlos would know both them very well. And then I saw Murdo on Carlos's podcast being like, oh, you know, if fell out, I'd take the flurry fight, no problem. [snorts] So I was just like, hm, this is way too convenient. Um but I don't know, look, does a matter of [ __ ] if he's been preparing for me or not? Not really, man. I've had 12 days to look at this lad and go, okay, I can s what you'd like. Look, I think it's a great fight, the Boff fight. I think it's the best fight Octagon could make right now. It is the two highest level ads they've ever had and we're going up against each other. So, it's exciting from everyone's point of view. Probably deserved a little bit more hype. Probably deserved a bigger arena, but [ __ ] it, it's sold out already and everyone's all good and the fact that it's getting happen in generalist class because it looked like he was going to be gone from Octagon. So, I'm just [ __ ] really grateful that this that he took the fight, that this is happening, and that I'm going to get to go in and like that I'm going to have the opportunity to go in and smash him. >> No worries. >> Absolutely. For the people tuning in now, >> for the people tuning in now, Will is competing at Octagon 92 this Saturday, August 1st. And so, going to be over in the Czech Republic. So, make sure to check it out. Ross, go ahead. >> Yeah, I was going to say this is a massive fight. And look, it was one that was bound to happen as well. And also like we post the video and a few others did as well of the interaction that you had in the cage where you know and you were like and you can get it as well. You know what I mean? So like uh like it was a fight that was bound to happen and now it is going to happen. Did you envision this fight happen more at middleweight though as opposed to happen at light heavyweight? >> Yeah. Cuz at the time he was adamant that he wasn't going to fight above 185 and I was like you're a big lad you know we could do a catchweight. We could because I [clears throat] knew it was it's a huge fight. like we are the two best fighters knock on. >> Um so I was thinking like from a pure entertainment point of view it would probably be more crack but fair to him he's coming up to light heavy. He's a big lad like I've met him a bunch of times over there and like he always looks like a light heavyweight. He's about 6'3 and he's got like a big upper back. Um it's his legs that he doesn't carry a lot of weight in. So I've talked to a few other boys and apparently he's walking around about 98 99 kg. Um I'm 102ish like for most of the last couple of weeks. Uh so there won't like I don't think size is going to be a significant factor in this fight. I think it's going to be skill that's going to determine this one. But like like I said just [ __ ] really grateful that this is happening now. >> Have you had any interactions with him since great but like we had that obviously face off in the cage. >> Yeah. And like that was really genuine like you know as in he was getting properly heated and I was just like having a crack because I just won the belt >> and I was like all right you're saying I'm just talking I'm actually [ __ ] doing it. I'm actually calling you out so shut up. Like and then I was like just shake the hand. It's a deal. So and uh I thought it would be like when I went down to middleweight that we'd have to do it. But last year I was in uh Eden the stadium when he won the belt off Kensil when he won the interim title and I just met him backstage and I was like congrats well on. He was just he was sound. He was like normal fella. Like I have no issue with him personally. Um and even like Lucy, my like my Mist would know him pretty well. They were training together at Ankos for a good while uh in Poland. And yeah, she says he's sound. Like there's no issue with him personally. It's more just like you're standing my way. You're [ __ ] blocking my route to Triple Champ right now. And that's a legacy that I really really want to [ __ ] secure. So I'll do whatever it takes to get you the [ __ ] out of my way. >> Yeah. Th this octagon uh run is legendary and I feel like at times when I'm watching I'm like every time I'm watch I'm like surely it can't get better and it's almost like that Mick McCarthy meme comes in and goes it can [laughter] it's absolutely it's absolutely phenomenal stuff because obviously in terms of the last opponent Aris I was like I was like right well it's sort of a drop in like name recognition obviously Budet was you know that he was built as this like UFC killer and now like you know what I mean like he was you know former Octagon champion being brought back in to you know take back the crown etc etc. Uh but the performance against Aros was absolutely sensational. Um tell us uh a bit about the fight and what your thoughts were on it cuz your your boxing looks so so crisp and clean these days. >> Thanks. Yeah, I won't plug to thank for that. Like so I'm working a lot with on high performance team and you can see the results of it. Like he's really brought me along. Um, >> yeah. Also, for people that don't realize, Will actually literally just defended his heavyweight title on June 20th, like just just over a month ago as well. >> Yeah. So, um, it was a [ __ ] unreal night in Berlin. You know, I love the city. It's a glass place to be. Um, the fight though, I knew I this fight to originally face Dor before that. >> So, it was a very weird one to go into and everyone was dismissing ours and I was like, "No, this guy's actually legit dangerous." genuinely I think he's the most dangerous lad that I fought even like Murdov Murph can't then end the fight in three or four seconds whereas Aris can. [snorts] So as much as Murdov's probably a higher level fighter Aris had a bigger you know threat in a way of like this could all be over before you even know what's going to h like you're going to just wake up staring at the ceiling. Um, and I fought in a way that I was very patient in like setting up my shots, touching the right times, creating a rhythm at the right time, and just waiting until it felt right because I know he was loading that backhand a lot as well for waiting for me to come in. And >> I think after the first rounds, he knew he had to do something different because I'd won the first round fairly clearly. Um, and I knew like he's either going to lose slowly like this or he's going to have to come at some stage. So, fairly early in the second round then he came and I managed to get under his big hook and I caught a couple of shots there. Like I landed one or two in that exchange. It's a bit hectic even when you watch it. It's like I had to actually watch it back in the footage myself in slow-mo to be like, "Oh, I actually did land those shots." Um, and then we ended up pinned up against the fence and as soon as we broke, I was setting up a question mark kick for ages. like Narius was calling for it like 2 minutes in cuz every time I went to deliver with that TE, he was coming down pretty heavy on it. Um so I just I knew at that moment he won't be thinking about the question mark cuz I we could both hear Denarius is calling for the question mark and I was like he knows it's coming too like and in that time I just thought like he's just going to react. So like I flicked up the question mark that landed and then I came in with like a little kind of double jab just to get into range and landed the big hook and he he came with another hook himself. didn't put him down. It kind of staggered him. Then he threw the hook and yeah, look, overall though, delighted with how it went. It just felt like I I did exactly what I wanted to do going into it of like being patient, you know, waiting for the time felt right, setting up to finish and finishing. And yeah, like you said, like I feel like I'm in a m like kind of a a mindset now where everything seems very achievable. So, you know, the plan to do that, it was like, yeah, okay, I know all the components of that and I know what I need to do here. Now, it's just go and do it. And, you know, when you break things out, it does that doesn't sound super exciting, but it's like the moments you create by doing these things that are like relatively mundane when you just map them out in your head, but then you put it all together, you're like, "Wow, that was incredible." Like, so >> I can't wait. I can't wait to do that again next weekend. And like I feel like my mind's just in a place where it's like, okay, create that. How are you going to create that reality and I can figure out the components of doing that? And obviously I've had less time to do it. It's 12 days this time. But I'm not like some uber talented guy or like you know, we've seen earlier in my career that like sometimes when I tried just being a dog, I was dogged as [ __ ] but I wasn't necessarily super talented. I think Morov's probably a more naturally talented fighter than I am, but I think I'm a much more intelligent fighter than all of these guys. And I think I can make the fight go the direction I need it to go in. And I can set traps for people that they're going to have to fall into eventually. Um, and I'm really excited to go and do that on August 1st. >> I think you're being a bit harsh yourself will having two belts, but uh, look, look, I think that's probably the Irishness in you. Can you tell us another thing as well? Why do you think that finish went so viral as cuz that night that thing absolutely like skyrocketed. >> Don't know. It was a face plant I suppose and it was a huge like you know you can see when I >> like a bowling ball as well. I know but it just went really crazy online. >> Yeah. I was I was having a few points. [laughter] >> So maybe [clears throat] the next fight was booked after or something. I thought it was just it just went like everyone in Ireland like was interacting with that you know. >> Cool. Great. Like the one thing that I noticed most of the German fans were like ah there was a you know ah you hit him in the back of the head once and I did hit him in the back of the head once. >> I was like I was trying my best to handle the shots and then they were like oh well it was just it's a big heavyweight fight. Whoever swung first was going to land. It's like okay cool. Keep making excuses lads cuz like whoever you give me next I'm going to [ __ ] smash as well. So >> Oh yeah when they say that send send the clip the todd fight. >> Yeah yeah yeah. Exactly. Yeah. Yeah. There you go. Cuz like in your head you're just like, "Oh, how could they say this better?" But it's like maybe some of these lads just are this clueless or look, [ __ ] it. >> It was Aris's uh his cousin who it was the first time watching the fight. He was like, "Oh, you know what? If he punched you first, you would have been gone. Don't worry about it." >> Yeah. Well, like the Turkish community over there, they have a lot of haters cuz like some of the messages I was getting afterwards and even look did this crazy thing where he stole Joo's belt after losing the fight and like prayed it around like he was still the champion cuz he said one of the illegal knees wasn't an illegal knee. All this [ __ ] and I put up some stuff criticizing and the amount of lads who were like, "I'm going to rape your mother. We're going to come find you. We're going to fuck." And I was like, "Yeah, come find me, cunt." Like, what do you think is going to happen if you confront me in person? [laughter] You see that situation I think went for you like >> check out just check out the bedday fight. >> Leave Miss Flurry alone. >> Come here Will. Like obviously before we have to wrap things up we have to we have to let the people know that you're obviously in the co-main event because there's an even bigger fight on after yours. >> I don't think it's bigger. You know >> that's a bit harsh. That's harsh. [laughter] Tell us about the main event. Will tell us the main event of the household. [snorts] >> Yeah. So uh my basis Lucia Blovia. She's fighting for a belt against a girl called Lucia Zabovva um on the same night and Lucia Bizovva is like Slovak and double champ over there. Um so they've made that the main event and I'm very happy with that to be honest. It's kind of less stress on my behalf. So I'll get to have my fight. I won't have to think about her fight while I'm warming up and then I'm going to just go out and enjoy hers. So >> is this is this the first time you're both fighting on the same card as well? No, we fought in the same card back in 2024. Um, the night I fought Carlos and won the belt. So, actually, my last light heavyweight fight, we fought on the same card as well. And she fought for the title that night, too. But this is a very different situation. She's fighting a girl who's like been built like you're once undefeated. Lucy Zabova. Um, and even some of the abuse that Lucy Povia, my Lucy, has gotten over the last like 6 months, like from her own fans for like not being as entertaining as she should be and not finishing. And like she's the first Czech woman in the UFC. Um, and she's a proper [ __ ] fighter and she's been a proper fighter her whole life. And like, you know, if they called her and were like, "Would you take a fight on four days notice?" She'd be like, "Yeah, cool. Let me try and see if I can make the weight." Like she's that type of girl. And I think they've massively underestimated who she is and that's why she's getting this shot and she's what four to one in the bookies and I'm like oh she's definitely do like I can feel it just like she's doing it and >> always with her like I think the issue has been a confidence thing. You know she fought in UFC. She's had 11 UFC fights and she only got finished once and it was like she got choked unconscious. She didn't even talk. She's a proper scrapper. go back and watch her UFC fights. Like Dan Hardy used to always talk about her as like this girl's got something in her soul. It just allows her to go in a way that other girls don't. Like, and I think recently because she's tried to be a lot more like a shootute and like time things right in fights. In fights, she's been winning, but they're like, "Oh, you're not finishing these girls." It's like, "Right, but she's winning clearly." Um, and like it's like me maybe four years ago where it's like I didn't know where the kill switch was, but I knew how to like stay defensively sound because earlier in my career I didn't and I got knocked out a couple of times. I got badly hurt by, you know, different people and whatever. And I think she's at the stage where she's kind of transitioning into that into like the real proper setup, the knockout phase. And I feel like that's what's going to happen on Saturday night. And it'll be a beautiful moment because look like it's like sport in general, you know, you see me win the old Ireland yesterday and like how much it means to people, but like >> yeah, >> like I'm obviously in charge of me and I I can only do what I can do on the night and my job is to go in and smash Moff. But I'm very emotionally invested in her thing. >> And imagine like if we both pull it off, I just have this image of us in in the cage together like with the belts and it's, you know, can we create that? Like that's a it's a big thing, you know? And I like sport often like it can be a tragedy and it can be whatever, but like it's like listen, all you can do is go and [ __ ] prepare as best you can and go and do your absolute best on the night. And there's so much riding on that night for both of us. Um, so it's a huge moment. It's Yeah, it's kind of hard to put into words in a way, but like I feel like if we both pull this off, it's going to be extremely special. >> It definitely will be. Ross, I'm going to put you on the spot, Ross. Ross, I'm going to put you on the spot. Do you ever recall any like sort of like couple that fought for titles on the same night in any organization? >> Nah, man. Some people like to watch Love Actually. Some people like to watch The Notebook. I'm gonna watch Octagon 92 for the [laughter] true true love story. >> Real romance, you know. >> Yeah. Real romance. >> You You've got Love Island, Ross, as well. >> Yeah. [laughter] With all with all with all all the gold on the line. Um, look, I I think I think this uh this main event um between the two Lucia is also huge because not only they were scheduled to fight in 2024, but also with uh the champ being uh obviously this for the bantamweight title, obviously uh you're Lucy also has fought a flyweight before and she's by far the most experienced and the best fighter um that that she's fought. So I think h there's a chance for uh the Flurry household to have a second champ. I think the only way The only way the only way uh you can top this will is if your next fight's for the middleway belt and you can beat her to >> like I'll have to become triple before she becomes double because like I can't have her on equal footing. You know, you got to keep the women down. >> She [laughter] be telling you to clean the gap, mate. >> Yeah, I already am. >> Ridiculous. I'm getting a raw deal here. I'm doing most of the cooking and everything. >> Oh my god, man. >> Well, the raw deal for the raw bastards. That's it, you know. H but uh well look obviously it's obviously it's always brilliant to chat to you on or off camera. One of the nicest guys in the game no doubt about it. Um sure look we've known each other a very long time in this stage. We always look forward to you fighting. Um look if you told me back in the Bellator day early on the Bellator days in three arena that uh Will Flurry was going to be the European heavyweight champion of the world. I don't know whether I would have believed it but my god >> I would have believed it. >> Yeah. My god, have you uh you know proved a lot of the haters wrong. You've uh definitely cemented yourself in Irish MMA history big time and that you're continuing to do so. And look, like I said earlier, every time you go out there, it gets more and more impressive each time. I don't know how you managed to make that happen, but it did. Like from throwing the kitchen sink at uh Vermola and Todd and them not going away to then like the Budday knockout to the Ras knockout, you know what I mean? Like unbelievable stuff. And uh yeah, I think lads, it's to me like this is a really big career defining type of fight because I know I've gone in and won two belts and beat Martin Budet and done all that stuff, but like I think a lot of people have said like, "Ah, he's talented. He has good hands, but like you know, how would he do against the absolute best?" And Wolf has always been buil as like this guy who was a mega prospect. You know, he got signed with Floyd Mayweather, he got all this stuff throughout his career. So to me it's kind of like you're the dog who got all applauds early on you know and now you've kind of got him [ __ ] it up and you're looking to establish a bit of legitimacy again because you know coming up in his career he was [ __ ] uber talented uber whatever and I was a guy who's like a he's a lot of heart but he's a bit [ __ ] and now you know you're saying oh you're being a bit harsh on yourself being a bit like ah you're not that talent [snorts] like look I don't consider myself naturally talented at all but am I a damn good fighter [ __ ] yeah look at the way I can dismantle people who are class like I'm very good at this thing, but it didn't come with like, oh, I just put on a pair of gloves and started throwing this [ __ ] Like, I spent years getting this good. >> And it's kind of like, well, you just had this, you [ __ ] rookie [ __ ] and I've had to work my balls off to get this. So, I think it's one of those fights. It means a lot to me to go and improve like here. >> The effort I've put into this is going to show. >> What's the saying when hard work beats talent when talent doesn't work hard? Is that it? Jesus. >> I'm going to leave I'm going to leave this episode. [snorts] >> Will do you feel like you're defending more your poundfor pound number one status more than your belt come this weekend? >> Yeah. >> Yeah, a little bit like and >> it's the legacy. It's the door to triple champ. It's all of that stuff. There's a lot on the line this weekend. It's huge, you know. >> Yeah. When you beat him as well, [clears throat] >> but like he's a real crowd. He's a genuine like, you know, if you're not sharp with this lad, it's going to be a very bad night for you. and like he's a lot of tools in his box. So, it's on me now to really go out and be like, you have this planned well, you have this sorted, you have the skill set behind you here and just go out and execute it like and I feel like I'm put myself in a very good position to go and do that. But I mean, >> yeah, but I suppose if he thought he was the be if he was going on about himself as if he was the king, which he is, then like he might take the foot off the gas. He seems like he has a lot left to prove, which is what makes it interesting. >> Yeah. Well, he's always been like a very humble guy, hasn't he? Like very polite. >> Yeah. >> Yeah. >> Uh Oh, no. Like we didn't even mention like how his brother walked him out and like his parents and all there. Oh, it was Yeah, it was it was really cool. That was I think that was the last time we were out in the session together. So that means we have to go out this weekend. Ross, where are we going? Um, Ross, another Irish MMA event we are really looking forward to is Cage Warriors 210 on September 26th. We've been talking about this for a while. We've been speculating where it's going to happen. We got the it's in the RDS. They've started announcing some very, very, very interesting fights. Um, where do you want to start in this one? Cuz uh, there's a few all Irish dustups that are going to be very interesting on the night, man. Well, look, I'm I'm going to start at the bottom of the card and work my way up. Um, two newcomers to the promotion. Ronan Degan and Billy Sutherland, the flyweight. What a scrap. Uh, Ronan Degan obviously fresh off a win at EFC9. Um, he's 5-0 now or 4-0 now as a as a pro. H, unbelievable stuff from him. He looks really, really good. And Billy Suddenland 2 and 0 as a pro. Both wins on Clan Wars against the same opponent. uh fairness the the gent he is his opponent said he had food poison uh the first time out so he asked to do it again and uh it was the same result so look uh two top flyweights two undefeated pros two lads who were perennial belt collectors across the various Irish promotions I think it's a a great matchup to see undefeated prospects going in against each other on the K driver scene I think that's the way it has to be to get on this card the promote as a promotional newcomer you have to be willing to fight another Irish person in this card. I think there's too much talent on this island, there's too many pros in this island that we can't have this Ireland versus the rest of the world anymore. The Irish are going to have to fight each other in this card and that's the way it looks at the moment uh for the way the card's shaped and what a way to kick off the night. If that's the curtain jerk Rowan Degan versus Billy Sland, we are in for a night of uh a treat that night and I'm looking forward to it. and then speak. >> You're not going to mention that you were uh with the you were putting out cont. >> Yeah, you're not going to mention that. I suppose if you if you put enough out there, you're eventually going to get one right, aren't you? Uh in fairness, as soon as the next fight got announced, you text me like, "When'd you pick that one, man?" Slate me. Uh yeah. So big big fight as well. Steven Coso obviously uh fresh off uh win his last outing. He is actually going to take on Jordan O'Neal Jumbo who's come down to welterweight. This is very very interesting because obviously you know Steven Klo is the juggernaut and every time you see him make uh 170 you're like how the hell did he manage to do that? And uh Jordan O'Neal uh fought as high as heavyweight I think in his amateur career and it's come the whole way down to 170. He seems to be a changed guy. He seems to have changed his lifestyle fully around and everyone who's ever seen Jumbo Fights know how exciting his his style is. Also, he's a massive ticket seller as well. He's got a big following and look, I'm really really looking forward to this one. I think uh this one is not going to see see the judges scorecards and I'm looking forward to it. And let let's see if uh Jordan O'Neal will uh block punches with his face this time out. >> Yeah. Oh, the this this one I'm sure at the end we'll go over which fight we're most excited for as of right now, but like this one is huge for boat lads to build a name as well. >> Yeah, absolutely. >> Like there they're actually just two absolute animals going in there now. Like this this is a very interesting one. Like >> absolutely that was announced. >> Yeah, because like Jordan O'Neil is like every time he stepped in he's done like unbelievably well and then like you don't see him for a while. like the hype hasn't really been like following him as much, you know, like >> I feel like he needs to get the momentum going again. And I think >> coming in [snorts] a welterweight obviously, you know, if you're wondering where where's Jordan O'Neal been, obviously he's been away taking his training very seriously, taking his diet very very seriously and this is where we're at now. So, I'm looking forward to seeing Jumbo come back and I'm sure he'll come back with a with a bit between his teeth and a bit of vengeance. So, uh >> Steven has the momentum now as well. Yeah, Stephen Costa has momentum in the yellow glove as well. So, this this is a real treat. H the next fight I want to talk about was the first fight announced for Cage Warriors or sorry, the first all Irish fight announced for Cage Warriors 210. Uh Solomon King Simon versus Kenny Moana. Uh this is an actually really intriguing fight. Um Trevor Mckeno's devastated this fight. Says to my two brothers, don't want to see it. But uh I'm buzzing to see this one. Um team Rhino versus SBG. Uh, it's got an old school fight feeling towards it. Kenny Moana, it's the last fight in his contract. I think he wants to get out out of cage warriors and look elsewhere. Solomon King Simon looking to get a a win or two under his belt. Look at maybe a contender series or, you know, Ultimate Fighter or some sort of UFC opportunity in the near future. I'm really looking forward to it. And also, it's very interesting because it's going to be a lightweight as well. Obviously, Kenny Moana, like I'll be honest, he looks like death on the scales when he when he wakes 145 pounds. So I think the lightweight move will be good for him and Solomon Simon went one and0 at lightweight. So it's a new division for him as well. So it's a really really interesting uh match up against two guys who probably grew up on the scene alongside each other and now now they're going to fight toeto toe under the bright lights in the RDS September 26. I'm looking forward to it. >> Yeah. No, you see that that's one fight that I I just did not see happening as well. But >> yeah, >> same. Yeah, I I was surprised by it. But uh also like that other fights that are booking the card, nonrish first Irish fight, Jar Harris is fighting Michelangelo Loopy in a flyway fight. Uh the GTA selector is building a lot of momentum. Win here puts him right in contention for for a title shot, not going to lie. H So Jar will be looking to make a statement and no better place to do it than in front of a home Dublin crowd as well. If he gets the win, gets the finish there, that will be huge for him. Uh Gary Rooney is back after his hiatus. Uh very interesting to see uh what Gary Rooney is going to look like when he's back. Obviously extraordinary talented fighter. He's now trained out of Hulahan martial arts under Patt Patty Hulahan. H at the start. >> He said he wasn't going to fight for the rest of year. Now he's back and back with a vengeance. >> When he when he went on to talk podcast, I was like I just had a feeling he was coming back. >> Yeah, exactly. Well, look, he he's an absolute elite finisher. Gary Rooney and his submissions are so crisp, so clean. The technique is is is uh so so good. So really really looking forward seeing Gary Rooney back. He's fighting Tom Cesy, brother of Sam Creie, former flyweight champion of Cage Warriors. So that's really really interesting. And then the very first fight that was announced for Cage Warriors 210. Maximus Maxi takes on Aiden Steven. H Aiden Stevens 12 and six. Maximus Lally is 6 and0. So Aiden Stevens had three times the amount of fights Max Ly has had. Aiden Steam is is almost gonna be like a litmus test for Max Ali. If he wins here, he'll he'll be looking towards K Warrior's gold. And this is this is a almost like a number one contender fight in the featherweight division. It's a huge one for Max Ali. So, I'm definitely looking forward to seeing that. And we have a whole host of other fighters who we've been told are on the card. Obviously, Patty Mccuri's going to headline in the main event for the title. Conor McCarthy is going to be fighting on this card. Keith Kio is going to be fighting on this card. Damian McKenna, Lewis Burn, Trevor Mckeno, like all these guys have fights still to be booked. So, I'm really really looking forward to I don't know if I missed anyone out just yet, Po. Have I? >> No. Well, there's there's obviously going to be more and more people that are going to be putting the card. Um, >> yeah. So, >> we we'll rat ourselves out here. We were on to Ian Dean and we were like I think he needed to do a double header like an unplugged and he was like >> and he he came back and said I could do a triple header with the talent that that's in Ireland. So, shout out to Ian Dean. H look it's it's going to be a huge night. We will be there on the night giving you all the coverage as we always do. But uh this is this one not to be missed. This this one feels extra historic. I know 200 was historic, but this this one really does have a feeling like this could be the last time you see some of this wave of talent in a while. >> Yeah, but that I was actually going to say that, but you said it quite well like like the last event when we were at the 200 like the arena like or the S. Simmons court like it was so so good. Like and if you are thinking about going to an event like check it out like the the way it's run so brilliantly, the atmosphere, the vibes, everything like >> Yeah. But it felt it felt like you couldn't get more Irish talent on the card and then they've actually just got more Irish talent on the card. >> Yeah. But it's it was like when we say this [ __ ] that it's like unmissable like it's a great night out. >> Yeah. Really is. And it's just right off the D station. And I know people like coming all over the country. So, but like it's it's well worth checking out like the future of Irish talent. Like the these these guys like Patty Mccari, you'll probably never see him fight in Ireland again. >> Yeah. No. Well, not for a while anyway. Like, you know what I mean? So, definitely definitely make sure to check it out. It's going to be a huge nightmo. >> Yeah. Um just before we wrap things up, Ross, uh we just want to mention that like obviously the UC had event over the weekend. um everyone's favorite um Russian li heavyweight and li heavyweight [laughter] and coll got the win and this weekend it's goes to Serbia. So uh Medic takes on Dino Rodriguez but like it is all really building up for Irish MMA to UC 330 that happens in a couple of weeks as Ian Mashad Garry takes on Islam Makachev. Um, obviously a lot of news coming out about Ian, his recent appearance on the High Performance podcast, but um, that's not really something we're gonna get into today cuz uh, look, everyone knows that no family is perfect and um, no relationship is perfect, especially mine and Rosses. We're going to podcast therapy after this. Uh, so uh, look, as long as people are happy in what they're doing with their lives, that's all that really matters. Is there Ross? Yeah, look, obviously like I [snorts] suppose I'll have to say what what happened. Obviously Ian Gary went on the podcast, made comments about his family life growing up and his brother got in the YouTube comment section which is not somewhere I find myself too frequently and sort of gave his version of events and look it wasn't a wasn't a pretty picture. It would have been great if maybe they didn't air dare that out over social media because uh you know social media had a field day over it but again like it's uh look I suppose Eddie Hearn was brought in to try and improve Ian Garry's pure image or help him with deals etc. And I feel like uh that podcast um appearance did not go in his favor. >> Yeah. The argument is like do you want to go viral or >> I suppose look he's getting more publicity. If you're on if you're over the gays like more publicity is good publicity or any publicity is good publicity. You're winning. There is some like myself and Ross were talking yesterday and we're like there's some really really really like exciting stuff happening in the near future like also this weekend in the tree arena there's Queensbury boxing going on the week after myself and Ross are going to the tree arena the 8th of August zoo football box in Dublin the week after Kefa Crosby's make is fighting at gorilla and uh I shadow Gary's fighting that night and the week after on the 22nd of the 8th is virtual 6 myself and Ross will be at that as well so like the summer is has been very good I want to also apologize guys for for last week for not coming out with the show like went out for the World Cup and uh I think myself and Ross agreed that one time a year we can uh just skip a week.
