Max, not the way you wanted to start but definitely the way you wanted it to finish, focus through it.
Now, yeah, so fucking I came out and I was trying to get comfortable behind me guard
and I just kind of got flashed and next thing you know I was on the fucking deck and
I don't know, I think he jumped on me neck or something like that, to be honest I can't even fucking really remember it
and yeah I dealt with the guillotine, got on top and I just said to myself I'm gonna blade and bash your head in now for that
let it for your position and yeah just try put me blade and fist through his
face you know. Obviously it looks different on the TV but how close was
the choke? Ah no I was good, I was good. I think my coaches knew I was good as
well. Yeah I wrestle, I'm wrestling since I'm fucking 11-12 years of age, I've
a neck like a slingy so you're not gonna get me in any
chokes you know what I mean. And you've had some diversity in a fight that went
three rounds and now you've had this diversity. Yeah how important is it to
go through that in-cage warriors? No, 100% super important. Like as I said, like I found
out bits about myself that I didn't know were there. That's the God on the truth. You
know what I mean? You find a lot about yourself and the truth of sport do I have, you know?
So, yeah, you're going to need a jackhammer in there with me to put me away.
And that prize guy has given you a bonus, a little award. What are you going to spend
that money on? Probably, to be honest, I'll probably go away on another training trip,
homey skills for order and yeah trying not to get dropped.
And in terms of what's next for you, obviously you've seen you develop quite quickly in
cage warriors, co-main at two or three times now, what's next for you do you think in cage
warriors?
To be honest, my answer is always the same for any media outlet I've ever asked me.
I was taking a fight at a time, you know what I mean?
In this sport I don't think Athens guaranteed, nothing's guaranteed so I fight every fight
like it's me last fight and I'll enjoy every fight like it's me last fight and whatever
happens happens.
And what do you think is next for cage Warriors, cage Warriors Dublin? Obviously a few sold out shows and in the RDS already
