I think there's a proper stigma at how young you need to be when you start MMA now You don't you don't need to do that like I've you know There were loads of girls in the UK right now that are you started at the middle late 20s and you know look what they do I'm sure an abandoned like I mean I know she obviously had like loads of is it kickboxing. I think that's what yeah from you know She got into the UFC what 30 maybe a little bit younger and you just think well It's it's proved time and time again like you don't need to be a young spring chicken to get to the UFC. You just need to be really hardworking. You've got to think of yourself like you've started out late, you're in a race with someone and you've got to try and catch these people up. That's how I looked at it anyway. It is what it is. You can't be dwelling on the fact that you only came across MMA when you're 25 years old. It is what it is. I mean, you've just got to put in the hard work, put in the dedication And, you know, that's all you can do, you know, the amount of times I thought, oh man, I wish I picked this up at 18, but, you know, maybe I would have liked it. Maybe I wouldn't have liked it at 18. I was in a different place. I'm a different person now. So now that I've got it, you know, a little bit later, and I've not been in many wars. And because I started off a little bit later, I think, you know, my body still feels pretty good. I'm acting like I'm like 50 years old. my body feels it feels good like this is the prime of my life like this is you know you see UFC champions that are like 37 like Shevchenko she's 37 or 38 something like that I know she started a bit younger but you know it just proves that you can you can still be the best in the world even if you start late and um you know that's what I want to prove to people is that you know I remember my coach saying maybe I was a little bit too old to ever make the UFC and it kind of put down on like my whole life, basically. And then, you know, seven years later, I'm fighting on Daniel Watts' content series, so screw him, you know.
