I'm Molly Lindsay and I'm fighting out of Granta and I'll be on Cajeware Academy Southeast in August in Cochriston. I was first fight at 18 so I started training properly probably around 17. I went straight into MMA. Any hard thing I've ever gone and done is always because I've seen a woman go and do it fast. So for me that was Ronda Rousey in Mixed Martial Arts and in the UFC fighting. Talking about my tenth fight, this could potentially be the last Ami fight before I go pro. Long paper is the same thing for slightly longer and just slightly smaller gloves. But for me I think it's really a moment to put my money where my mouth is, honestly. I've been talking about training full time, like for the last few years and working my way into it. I've been talking about this big dream I have of being a pro fighter and a pro athlete. athlete and then I think it's coming to the moment where like we're at the top end of my amateur career and it's time to look at going pro and that feels absolutely terrifying. Yeah I keep thinking it like I can't wait to throw it almost in these two then and then I'm like oh but they can do it to me so it's a little while to get an opponent to confirm for this fight so we went room, a fair few that wouldn't infirm. And this is really what it did, which is really exciting because I was really glad that someone was going to take it on. I'm aware I'm towards the end of the amateur career and I have got some experience in the book so that can be tricky for someone that's looking to fight me. She's young, she's really aggressive, she's got a lot of competition experience. I think regardless of the result we're both propping each other up with what we're bringing to the fight beyond the just skill and I'm really excited to have a match with someone that's aggressive because I don't train this hard, I don't sacrifice this much.
