It means a lot to the kids who are competing and they have been able to watch the likes
of Paul Hughes and other professional faders that they've looked up to you on all these
senior shows and PFL and all these different things, but they didn't have that platform
for themselves to be able to go and compete.
Now you have kids stopping in the street and talking about how they can't wait to get
on to the junior league, they're looking at what the kids are getting, they're getting
the walkouts, they're getting the posters, they're getting the full professional level
of production, so for them this is their big thing.
It's important that kids get a platform like this because with kids competing it helps
develop the sport from the bottom up and it means then that they'll get to compete in
the sport that they love, which means if any of them do want to go on to high level amateur,
professional or any of those things that they're going to have the experience behind them of
competing in the sport that they actually do. My dream would love to be that Kidd has his first
fade on this show, progresses through the ranks of this to being able to then compete
as a novice as an amateur and eventually on their professional world champion because they've
built it up from having a full brass route system. The level of the sport is going to increase so
much.
