Not many fighters will ever get to compete in their  hometown as a professional nevermind make their debut in it, and the fight nearly never happened as once again Tartan Blood pulled out (William Wallace will be turning in his grave) 

Leaving Blain one day out with no opponent the story seemed to intrigue a lot of the MMA scene, Especially once Andy Stevenson took huge interest in the story providing updates as they happened.

But Chaos fighting championship pulled it out of the bag and got Moyo within a few hours getting the debut the green light for Saturday, 
I've been to a Derry Blain McGill fight and I knew what to expect, as the main event the place was going to have the roof lifted off it which it was.

The place had been bubbling as Daniel Thompson, James Slavin and Sean Kelly all competed before him also home town boys so the noise levels were rising as each fight went on.
 
Blain walks out and the place erupted, he got into the cage stood across eagerly waiting for the referee to start the action, with some back and forth on the feet Moyo looking tidy and slick as well as Blain, but the fight was taken to the ground (if you had told me Blain would be initiating the takedown I'd not have believed you)
From there Blain landed devastating elbows to finish off Moyo I'm the first round, the place erupted he had his post fight speech where he called for a shot on cage warriors against a man not too far from Derry with a 4-1 record in Damien McKenna.

I'm a side note for me personally watching Blain these past few years it was an absolute pleasure to call his professional debut.
