Post-fight interview with Andressa Souza at Artemis Fight Night 1. She describes winning her second amateur bout after a turnaround of about one month from her debut, and contrasts the relaxed mindset of her first fight with the pressure she felt to win this time. She credits meditation, prayer, breathing work, running two or three times weekly, general training, and pool swimming for recovery, while noting she still gassed in the second round against a relentless opponent. Souza trains Muay Thai but accepted the booking after Mel invited her and Andrea encouraged her, following a cancelled all-female show she was booked for last year. She works in sales as a business development manager and says the gym helps her stay focused at work. She plans about fifty-five days of holiday in Brazil after back-to-back camps, expects more fight offers, and thanks Mel for organizing gear and the event, which the host praises as Ireland’s first all-female combat card.
