cork horse box it's John Mitchell how's the form John you well it's very good you get that introduction everywhere I go now W be doing too bad so you know we have we have to give a bit extra for the core clouds you know what I mean have a we'll have a few of the boys in the DMS H given a bit of stick so you know we're we're Cork's uh favorite M podcast so like we have to try and stay in that realm baso don't we amen Bud amen Bud yeah absolutely uh John boy you're uh living up in Dubai training your ARS off you've uh you're I feel like you're the leader of like a new squad over there of uh Irish Lads tell us what it's like over there and uh who have you got with you it's great man the the Irish group is really building over here and like it's cool because w l been TR with forever like Paul booky's moved here H sen cley's moved here H Nathan's uh I'm not sure if he's moved here but he's done his full Camp here and I hope he does move here and uh yes we've got a really good squad on on the mats at the moment and then we always have new people coming in as well so we'll keep the Irish Dubai thing going you know absolutely absolutely and then uh obviously uh I've seen you guys are getting a lot of work in with Aussie how did that relationship H come from and for Irish people who don't know was backgound maybe give us a bit honor cuz uh he's an elite level coach he's the best in the OR L and uh I've really seen it out with this year and uh so he he he was down in the gym and uh we we just met and started talking I'm sure the first time I talked to him I talked I was just off that loss of pfl like you know what I mean there was a lot of changes in my career and when I started talking the first time we talked for like three hours we really really clicked he's been training me ever since like and uh I've just done the full year with him now and it's made a massive difference you know yeah yeah so so much of a difference the pfl and Bellator I put you in the dagestani change room this time around that's it and they're right as well if they saw like I could always wrestle for an Irish lad but I thought I could wrestle till I met him but now I know I can wrestle so tag looking tagani at the moment absolutely absolutely and uh tell us this like obviously this card's got a bit Spicer but uh tell us this obviously you have the Irish Boys in Camp do you feel like there you guys are out with a point prove now to show show show the level of Irish at May yeah 100% especially seen as I'm fighting French F like you have to hammer that lad you know what I mean like but I I really think the boys are going to get it done too you know like uh it's my third time fighting a French fell now and uh so you know and it's from the same place I think they're both from Marseilles like so uh just like Ireland versus dagistan cork versus Marseilles again you know what I mean that's a little different angle we've gone on it like but yeah but I I think like the boys have a great chance to win in like can knock in R out he fights Nathan gotot gtin come or Kenny's got gtin coming out his ears that was always a big thing when I fought Kenny twice to watch out for and then from training with Nathan man it's it's so hard to get that guy down if you get him down it's even harder to keep him down you know yeah ABS absolutely uh Nathan's been on absolute fire as of late um and so so is Paul 's tell us this obviously Kenny and Paul aren't out yeah have you been in contact with them and are they coming to join the the uh the Irish lads uh so I think Kenny might just be coming out uh like very close to the fight but I said you know like Kenny is more like a friend of mine as well he's more than welcome to every train of us H and Paul I I don't know is he here already man but I think he's so close to his camp now he probably doesn't want new trainer partners coming in like you don't want sending KY throwing head kicks at you from across the room you know so like you know but he's just doing his own thing because he's a huge fight coming up no absolutely of course and obviously like this is a massive card there's there's a lot of o on it and I think there's been more talk about this Bellator card than there has a lot as of late um do you feel like it's you're fighting on a bigger card and obviously it's the first time a major MMA promotions come to Dubai like what's what's what's the like on the ground there is there a lot of people talking about this fight over there yeah it's class man there's loads you know when I fought in L of FC here in h May that was massive and you can really actually feel it in the place and that that's sold out now and uh like there was Irish xack Community is massive here and you know Irish Lads getting the fight like and now that it's bigger again and it's Bellator it's huge like uh everyone that I know personally is actually going you know so it's it's you can really feel it here it's good John you're you're obviously very active in 2023 and then in 2024 you had uh one MMA fight and one boxing match as well um like what would you want to do in 2025 you know uh so I in I actually had like 12 or five fights in the 12 months 2023 you know what I mean like in the actual like in a 12-month period And I was planning to stay as active because I love to stay active and uh I got like a very bad staff infection that actually put me into hospital so that that pred the pfl Europe season again uh because Nisha was supposed to fight sky in the first one of that but then I was in hospital and I just didn't make sense and I like what can you do if you nearly have sepsis like you know what I mean but it was actually good for me because you know rarely do you get the time just to fully develop I was working with new coach Azie all the time and I was doing all these fight camps around the world and stuff so I got a full year development but like this year now like from doing those camps and from sparing the best guys in the world now I really want to sement myself as one of the best fighters in the world this year because I know I'm there uh of so much like actual evidence Pro instead of me just saying it to myself in the mer you know what I mean I've sparred all these guys I've done very well against them so just this year like like fight all these big fights can certain jary the way I want to and just yeah really spent my name now you know I'm around a long time at this point yeah and obviously at the moment it looks like uh pfl are changing like the I suppose maybe maybe uh one thing that I want to point out I know uh there was the million dollar tournament now it looks like the person is going to be half million but it's half million on top of your purse so like just say you're earning 50,000 and F you get 50,000 50,000 50,000 and then 500,000 you get 650 as opposed to previously you would have got 50,000 50,000 and 50,000 and you would have got 850 to bring you up to the million so it's not as devastating or as much of a pay quot as people have make it out obviously the millions much better it's a sexier number we'll say but uh John that's still like an outrageously large amount of money to win after three fights if you came out with 650 Grand type of thing would you agree [ __ ] definitely that would it's better than welfare isn't it geez it's unreal it's unreal slightly better yeah yeah yeah what's called You' boy a few hous down cork with that would you yeah oh yeah we nearly get half the city with that sure ah sure look yeah not a bother to you you know I mean sure look you could even you could even even boy bro man in the Gaff no bother to you I get him too I get him too John John like before we get more into your fight like just like obviously you're living in Dubai you've been there for like four years four years now yeah yeah like just like looking at the the MMA scene in Cork like over the last couple years it's really what what's your sort of thoughts on it like looking for to boy it's unreal man it's flying like I'm still very very close to the boys I was only on the phone to Jack M there last uh last week I always been ringing him flat out coming up to the fights you know and obviously aon's like my my main coach there since I was 18 years old you know and it's it's unreal because like I'm sure I've said kind of the origin story before initially it was just myself AR McGuire and Jack manahan and H Jack McGuire we just had like a blue crash mass and we were training there like alongside of T boxing JY and now when I ring Jack like they they nearly have an event every two weeks someone's fighting they've got loads of amateurs they've got pros coming up the ranks now you know what I mean Paul Buckley is is going to be a star of said AF fres like he's one and0 now we're looking have a fight confirmed for him in March maybe even February as well so it's unreal to see you know it really like I always kind of consider myself and I don't want to S like an M cork Pioneer you know what I mean like fighting on these big shows and stuff and now there's loads of guys coming up behind me so it's class probably the most well recognized name out of cork who does MMA to be honest yeah well I was the first lad to fight in uh pfl definitely the first lad to fight for major league title and and then like GNA be the first guy I think Sean toin fought Bellator as well back in the day but first L fighting Bellator internash got a win you know so yeah yeah well it's with Elite fighting championships as well the the way there's like so many fighters in court getting an opportunity to fight and put their name out there as well and like as Ross said earlier the way Brian Mannings really put his name out there as well Ross yeah absolutely like I I actually think yeah this was a really standout year for M May cor and I feel like um with yourself and Paul Bley also still represented the JM farfield you know what I mean I think uh it's going to be a massive 2025 for for the jym obviously you get your hand raised uh on the 25th of John Paul Booky picks up win you know Brown Manning like no doubt about it will be picked up by you know a cage Warriors are an octagon this year like has to be uh and like it go from strength to strength you you know I mean like people like Sam dver are doing really well on the amateur scene H Lee mcyo Jack McGuire is in octagon as well um and like like the gy is really really driving it's probably as you probably tou on John it's probably in the best place ever been does that give you a good sense of Pride John that like you were one of the people who actually like helped put this gy on the map and now you're seeing the fighters come in their droves yeah 100% and it was all Aron McGuire you know like AR Aron really like like I'm so grateful for Faron forever because like I'm really happy with the life I live now and it's all thanks to him meeting me when I was like 18 years old there outside the gym and I told him I want to be a fighter you know what I mean and now now he's building something real special like everyone from M car is super solid Fighters and now we're all in big promotions you know so it's it's class fair play to him and it's only getting bigger you know like he's uh outgrew one gym he went to a bigger and now he's gone to another gym again and even I think that's GNA over uh get bigger again you know so he's he's flying it it's unreal to see yeah and with that obviously AR was a super talented fighter like you know I mean like in the amateur scenes like he had wins over Richie smen he had wins over you're mate Nathan Kelly don't forget to Remo him when you see him H but uh tell us this like is he done now or like is there any chance we see him put back on the gloves one more time i' personally love if you put back on the gloves you know what I mean even I'm no doubt in my mind if I back in MK Aron would still give me problems you know what I mean it be deep in my head about sparing that lad you know but he's H H I think he's fulltime coach now I think he's so busy and stuff that that's his passion kind of his purpose so but you never know you know what I mean you might convince him after this chat yeah call like put it put it put it this way like you know what I mean like obviously pfl are going to come back to Dublin at some stage I feel like with the strong roster they have now or or maybe even Belfast uh if Paul use wins the world title and I think you know he'd be an absolute model for a cuddle to bring a lot lot of boys from Cork up there along with yourself you know what I mean I feel like you would a course one that' be huge she I love that I don't know if it's going to happen but I would love to see Aaron back in there you know I mean and obviously he's he's a free agian because he hasn't fought in so long so I just think it' be it'd be great to see him get the recognition as a fighter one last time because I feel like he has the recognition now as a coach but I feel like people actually forget how good he was and is man you know like H from Talking he he's still he's unreal you know is everything is good you know and he's always training he's he's always doing B that B Class I'd love that I'll tell him after this yeah joh Johnny jgen says he runs rings around on the mats though just saying oh I don't know the jury's out there H shout out to Johnny dogen as well H John number one fan especially in Cork uh John you're obviously fighting on the 25th of January uh you're currently 9 and2 about to go 10- two taking on soill T tyari who's 75 and one what you actually know about uh toari yeah um so you know he's from a very Solid Gym you know like records can be de evening like this is going to be a great fight I really think it's going to be a shootout like he's good everywhere I obviously believe I'm better everywhere you know but we we're going to find out January 25th I think he's tough he's durable uh he's had some big fights he he done well on the UA Warriors scene over here for a while and uh yeah like we we have a good plan in place like you know I've done between boxing tie boxing and MMA like it's my 53rd fight now and you know I can genuinely hand to my heart say with Coach Azie like this been hell this camp in in the most positive sense like like so all the work's done now now we just go find out and we run the thing you know so it's it's this going to I actually genuinely believe that this this is going to be fight of the night yeah well look like there's never been a boring John Mitchell fight you know what I mean we can't wait to see you get in there and do your thing we're looking for a more active 2025 for uh John Mitch as well I'm sure you're looking the same is there particular names that you'd like to see standing across the CP in 2025 or are you just looking to be as active as you can Ju Just the bigger names the better you know what I mean like uh as I was saying prior that report we went live like this this the I SM myself as an elite level worldclass fighter that I really know I am and uh Ju Just whoever you know and it sounds like such a fighter thing to say but honestly whoever like wants a big established name that people know and I go and put a master class on him and uh Ju Just more of that you know yeah we last week we had Nan Kelly on he said he'd like to face off against uh pit this year class unreal man Nathan is a like it it was actually kind of like uh like nearly a nostalgic moment for me and Nathan the other day we were waiting outside the gym and our cars waiting H for um to go into training and I was like man it's mad now that like me and you 10 years ago we were fighting on cage Legacy dra together and I've always been in touch with Nath and he's a top man and now here we are in Duo getting ready for a big fight in Bellator it's unreal like you know so and and he's only ever got better and better and better and he's on smoke at the moment you know what I mean so uh I'm super excited I genuinely believe he's going to beat this guy and uh then then he he he can fight anyone he wants can't he yeah well I think I think he' be brilliant for the next featherway tournament and I also think uh Kenny Moana has a massive chance here because uh Ibraham who he's fighting is getting a massive push from pfl and Bor if you could be the person to you know topple him and like you know you have a great opportunity to steal all that hype and go in there and like make an name for yourself off him because like pfl have him in Old Trafford with uh Man United and his brother actually plays for Man United Youth Academy and like they're they're really leaning into that and they're like trying to make this guy a Manchester Superstar so like Kenny mochana we haven't seen him for for for a while and I think there's a great opportunity for him to come in here and uh make make a mive name for himself I think I think all the card I think one thing about this card that I think Bellator have is that each of well definitely for the orangish fans each of the orangish fans fight all has their own sort of intricate storyline that people are doying to see I mean and I can't wait to see it um I think it's going to be an absolute star sort of card from an aish perspective and like most C TV and but with that I do have to ask about the main event obviously uh in your way class as well and Paul hes going up against usand or magov what do you make of this f um what do you make of H Paul Us's Roy and the pfl and Bell Tour it's unreal to see Paul Hugh is a top man and you know uh when he was going over to Thailand he stayed with me for like two or three days and we got to train and all those Fai guys are legends like I spent a lot of time with Patty mccy in uh in toand like for That pfl season and I got really close to him and Cory mclin as well every time he's in duy he comes tring of us too so man I I genuinely believe Paul's gonna knock him out you know what I mean like uh he's a super tough guy to take down he can knock anyone out with his hands I don't think the AJ mcke fight was close you know what I mean I think Paul won every round but obviously it was competitive like but don't think it it was like uh it shouldn't have been a nailbiter of a decision so I I think the upsets ready there far Paul to do and I don't think he'll be shocked by it you know I won't anyway no I think he's expecting anyway and look he's he's full of confidence and like that's that's when that man's had its best when he's full of confidence and definitely I I'm looking forward to see passar you uh no 100% that's why people have to make sure to tune in I think Bellator and pfl know that like Their audience in Ireland is very very strong so therefore that's why they're doing this like they're just getting all the Irish Lads on the card like there's four at the moment who knows someone else might jump on because it is on next week uh John you always say that pre pressure is a privilege what does that saying mean to you you know like I'm I'm I'm I'm blessed to be in this position like here I am in a big fight again you know and uh it's because like other fighters in the card like Nathan we're only having this chat it's because we're always the guy that's always stay out we always kept taking each other on these big fights you know what I mean just always roll the dice and back ourselves and it's changed our lives like we're living fulltime now as professional fighters we're all getting paid for the fight you know it's unreal so uh then you see W car coming up behind me you know what I mean you like as I'm older now you see how many people that you can actually inspire with this stuff so like I'm I'm privileged to be able to be that guy for them and for and for myself you know so yeah yeah absolutely pre pressure definitely is a privilege and it's one that you definitely Thrive under you know we we are definitely here for and look this this is going to be an absolutely humongous card and like great to hear that little Nostalgia between you and Athan as well like it's great to see that like you know I mean you can reminisce and look back that you were you know I suppose fighting in either like hotels or you know halls and now you're under the bright lights in Dubai one of the most thriving cities in the world and uh all always will be on you guys I think it's going to be an absolute phenomenal show and look uh it looks like it's going to be one of bellor last shows before like it fully goes uh under the pfl banner so uh I'm definitely looking forward to that I know you fought the European title and uh geez you were a razor hair away from win as well you nearly had had them finished is that something that you want in 2025 to get back on on the European te or is that on the cards for you we'll see what happens now after this for you there s kley just walked into the room as well distracted me in my interview you can tell you want to make a guest appearance yeah come on make a guest appearance what's happening s we won't ask John we'll ask you what what's your prediction for John's fight oh he's going to spark this Con I think your man's gonna be very surprised sorry for my language but I think your man will be very surprised with the level of John like um and I think that's the Dublin horse box yeah of course yeah I think don't you forget it to be honest like you must believe it here we heard a rumor that the what's called some of the boys Nathan was getting used to try and grow like a beard but shave off your mustache just how you represent one the it's coming it's coming I'll shave off the mustache next week you know get them real prepared for the fight then make them think that they are fighting the the dagani boys yeah I that's oh my God this this a 10 out 10 guest performance isn't it oh my God 100% 100% s s before we let you go s do you want to announce when you're fighting next H the imfs I'm going to the imfs now in Serbia thanks to my brother John John's helped me out he's helped me get there same with maner in 971 so I couldn't be happier and I'm getting to go over there and show me level now and uh go onto the European stage now I'm I'm just excited to go over now and just test me level that's all I want to go over there for and and show levels BR make sure to check out s in Serbia representing Ireland at the omf Euros on the 14th of thing H obviously obviously we had the crack on this and we had lots of laughs but uh obviously tragically uh this week uh M ptic uh passed way to cancer he was obviously an absolute Phenom on the oish scene and the amateur levels 14 and two as member of many no MAF Squad H you shared a few cards with them John uh what's your memories of M it's terrible news you know Amil was an absolute top man I couldn't believe it when I saw you we actually fought in whales together and he put on a hell of a fight and he was only a young lad then and even throughout the years we try to together their a good b as well and uh you know that that's another thing like to be look at the position we're in at the end of the day we're we're fighting on these massive events we're we're enjoying our time and you see something like this this guy would have been probably on the main card by now if he was still fighting so uh you know it's it's terrible news but let's go do this for him as well you know yeah absolutely thoughts go out to M his family and then obviously all the CMAC team as well because uh look he he was an absolute top talent and from what everyone else has said about he he was a he was a top guy so shout out shout out to all the SE guys yeah shout out to as well yeah so uh that that sort of wraps up this portion of the show with with yourself John go smash them over there and you you're developing a brilliant squad over there it's it's it's sort of almost like a low-key story to keep an eye on who's next in the to be uh you know brought over to this D boy Squad who will it be we're trying to we're trying to keep the squad healthy you know what I mean you don't want me going over there injuring everyone you know I mean like they wouldn't be we do we do senon will cake you out there in the weekends you'll have a great time with him ah look he he wouldn't be he wouldn't be on my level of wrestling you know so uh uh and plus like his his arm bars wouldn't work on me you the pay-per-views UFC 311 is going down in Los Angeles Ross before we kick off the main card there was a there was big fires going on in Los Angeles so is there any update from yourself regarding where the card will be held the last I saw was it's still going down into into a dome H in La I know there was the Clippers uh changed their venue for their game there um during the week but uh as far as I'm aware the UFC are going ahead with the into it tone but I also have heard that uh the T-Mobile arena is actually has nothing on this Saturday so if it will be a last minute change it will probably be a last minute change to Vegas okay well there is two title fights on the line this weekend in the main event Islan makev is defending his world lightweight title against Arman sarin H this what is a rematch they' H before and Islam won Ross what's you make of this fight and who are you expecting to win I think people are going to really underestimate Arman sing going in this fight I think obviously with good reason people are All Aboard that um that hype train of Islan Mev but like these guys the last time they fought was in 2019 and we saw McKenzie dur versus Amanda rebass fight there at the weekend and rebass won the last time out and uh this time out um Mackenzie Duren got their hand raised I wouldn't be surprised to see Arman seru can get the job done he is an absolute El Fighter um he's on a serious run his last two wins are Charles Ola and benil darush um he's got serious power um in his hands and yeah like I don't think it's going to be as straightforward as Islam would like it to be sort of take down bit of top pressure and you know to look for maybe like a head and arm or a rear naked choke they seem to be his uh best finishing Maneuvers um but yeah I would definitely not count out um Islan m or sorry Arman serukan at all I think he's a he's a tough fighter what's you make of Islan Mev as a champion as well um in terms of actual scale and in terms of like dominance easily one of the best we've seen in a very long time um but I don't think he's a seller I don't think he's a massive draw I think like a large part of part of his drawing power is he has kabib in his Corner type of thing um so that's the way I look at it but I think like he's sort of he's definitely got a big aura about him and I think like you know we're sort of waiting for someone to sort of be the person to beat him or that the fans really can get behind that they think will beat him if that makes sense like like I think um when he fought Charles ala I don't think people were like I think he's going to lose when he fought DUS porier I don't think people thought he was going to lose and I think going into the first Vulcan ovsky fight I didn't think people thought he was going to lose but then going to the second vulcanos fight people were like oh maybe vul might get them because a lot of people think vul maybe won the first one um so yeah I think I I think this one's going to be a lot tighter H and I think the co- main event is super super tight as well I think uh uh morab de going in as Champion against Umar and magof um I think is a really compelling fight I think Umar and magof as the Challenger is actually the favorite going into this one um obviously again with the Nur Mago namesake he will have kabib in his corner and I think people just think morab won't be able to use his heavy wrestling game against Umar they don't think that will work against the dastani so I'm gonna be very I'm actually most interested to see how do that one actually physically play out like will the wrestling on both ends n fight each other and will that end up on the feet and he'll get the job done there but I think some really interesting fights cuz I thought Cory sandhagen did really well against Umar or magum madeof the way he defended the takedowns um a lot of sort of like reaching over you know sort of using his length against him to defend the takedowns obviously morab doesn't have that so it's GNA be interesting to see how uh morab they're both sort of shorter and stockier Fighters so yeah I think they're both absolutely massively compelling um I suppose you want to know who I think is going to win and I actually want to know first what fight are you Mo most interested in like and also what what fight do you think the fans are most interested in in the out of the two title fights I I think it could be fairly 5050 I think uh Islam's probably the biggest name out of the four of them uh so I think that one probably is there but I think more people think like if you were to to 100 people I would say 70 somewhere between 70 and 85% would say Islam are going to is going to win maybe even maybe more on the 85% right as opposed I think if you ask morab versus uh Umar I'd say maybe like 60% think Umar is gonna win 40 think Mor's gonna win so I think people think the morab fight is closer but uh I think most people are interested to see Can Can someone foil Islam or you know even the way uh people say ingari made H shavat look human I think they're looking for someone to make Islam look a bit human yeah at the moment there is a poll out saying it it's team Islam Mev against team Arman sarian at the moment it's 68% for Islam 32% for Arman so that sounds about right um I'm actually thinking that Islam's going to win there's just something about Islam that I don't feel connects to the sort of fan base here in Ireland and maybe maybe it's the D thing obviously it's against dagistan and because the thing is I don't really know what it is because I saw him I remember the El boys went over to dagistan right and like they showed Islam there and like like he actually seems like sort of funny and like a like he seems like a decent guy um he's funny he's been interviewed by DC yeah so and that's the thing because it's not like he's not funny he's just it's just whatever he's doing is doesn't really connect but um I think Islam's going to win this just like he's beat he's beaten arm before like I think Islam's actually getting better at the moment and the co-main event I actually think Umar and magov is gonna win as well and I like the way morab is like like like he's always putting up these funny videos um like beating sha Amali um like he's doing everything right like he the way he was like a great team made of Alain Sterlings didn't want to fight for the title until almain maybe moved up or lost it which you she did has done both actually and but I just think Umar and mega made off is going to win um R's obviously last four times before four times before Umar has never lost I think it's going to be an Islam win and an Umar win and would you concur or not concur oh I think they'll definitely be the BET and favorites I think uh a lot of it also will come down to I want to see these guys on the scales cuz uh these guys I feel like do massive weight cuts to make their respective weight class so i' be all for see on scales than making a call there but I'd agree they're definitely the favorites going into it and I think with good reason they're the favorites going into it yeah but usually we don't agree should people should see us talking before this we never agree so if we agree on this we're probably going to be wrong with our what calls yeah some other sexy fights in the car baz AR May Erie Braska versus Jamal Hill H the winner there could get a a title shot against Pereira now yeah let me tell a story about uh Yuri pahaska right hopefully he doesn't tune in here or else he'll kill me uh when myself and Ross were over at UFC London for Leon ewards against uh Kamar Usman this third fight wasn't it I think so yeah yeah third fight yeah yeah was their third fight yeah um myself Ross were doing like a live show in the O2 uh with John Gooden um like and we had Tom asol there uh AR and JJ few few peeps yeah and Yuri poas yeah and yurias sat right beside me right and there's actually a clip and um I asked him to to shout out say he's he's coming like like and uh remember when he stood up and like AB roared it and all the fans love that saying I don't know I think that's his saying it's a very famous thing around the world anyway but uh I remember I was sitting right beside him and there was this massive snu hanging out his no but I was like I was like I feel like I should tell him but like this guy's too scary to tell oh man like I should have given him a tissue R Jesus like sitting beside you on the on the yeah but you think he's gonna be Jamal Hill that's the real question yes I think yurio at praska will beat Jamal Hill and uh what about Ben darus versus hanat moano what's your thoughts there who who gets her hand raised I'm just more of a fan of renado moano so I'm actually just sticking my fandom there um he last defeated um what's his second name the the French dude in France Ben s Ben ston yeah when he when he defeated Ben s in Paris in the main event um I like I became a proper believer I know he's been calling out Patty the body for ages uh like I know he's fighting darush darush is getting a slight push for a moment until he lost um I think I think darus just hasn't got enough selling power that I think the UFC would rather moano win and I think he probably will his podcast seems to be doing well he seems to be a funny guy I go moano by submission I go I go Europe has a knockout as well I think moano will actually boy knockout that's was me and then Kevin Holland H big mouth is fighting Ren there uh obviously he was a double champ over and one H interesting fight I think uh very evenly matched this one uh I don't know I think I I think I'm going to go with the rder on this one I think uh I think um Kevin Holland is obviously very very good but I know I feel like Ritter's got the championship level experience so that's who I'm going to go for in that one I heard people weren't too Blown Away by the rder UFC debut no we fought Gerald mirart and I think it was a third round submission win but like late in the third round said he was uh he was very very gassed um so we'll see but I think that could be just UFC Jitters type of thing yeah a win is yeah you're better off winning than losing baby yeah R Johnny Walker was meant to be taking on BG down G gusov on this card uh you said that is no longer on the card yeah no it's not Johnny Walker is now injured I don't know Johnny Walker looks like he's moved over to Vegas fulltime as well so I don't know if that's that was just for this camp or was fulltime sent him a message to find out so we'll let you know on next week's show see if that's a fulltime move who's he training with uh Eric nixi yeah so sure will flurry's been there a good bit as well hasn't he yeah he has indeed yeah so that's permanent or not but he was in Vegas for Christmas anyway so uh he's definitely considered also pton talat is fighting on the card and that man uh will fight for a UFC title in his future he is one of the hottest prospects at Bantam way probably the hottest Prospect since shanali H obviously jelton elid is also on the card I wouldn't be surprised to see him fight for a UFC heavyweight title down the line he is one of the younger heavyweights uh in the division and then Grant Dawson versus Carlos Diego fera is uh the main event of the early pre pre liim card and that one could be a fight of the night Contender some really really good fights on this C baso yeah well like sometimes the way the UFC put out so many cards um people give out about how good the cards are for instance the card that just went by I think in the when we were just looking at it we're like right Main Event dur versus rebas 2 and then also Chris Curtis against copy love were the only fights that we really like make sure to check them out with AB due to name recognition um like this weekend's card is going to be very good um just uh looking into the future the next five card that is booked is going to be February the 1 Israel LNA is taking on nardine imov but uh next week we will be discussing all the action from 31 and um it's just great to have the UFC back like obviously when we're doing shows it's very important events are around to discuss these shows us isn't ABS absolutely well it's better when there's for and potential matchups to discussed than when there's no so yeah I definitely all for the more fights the better and speak more fights better Bas Ross who would have guessed it was very important for fighting shows to be on for us to talk have a show yeah well otherwise we'll just be uh making stuff up to keep you guys entertained but uh speaking of fighting shows um I believe omran Shaban will make the walk to the cage to uh Defenders total this uh this weekend basma was that correct uh I actually think it's just a catch way so I don't think is defending the to it is on UA Warriors this Thursday so uh for people that are think we're getting old man because some of these guys Little T versus Afghan Dan afan Dan he's a rapper isn't he man I have no idea but like afan is a rapper yeah he used to gez look the stuff I'd see these days um Ross yeah so Dar T against pretty boy Taylor that's going to be uh the main event in Manchester this Saturday uh Russ few F announcements happened this week before we wrap things up uh probably the most notable one was officially announced on the energise show that k l ran is going to be fac Nathan Fletcher at UFC London Ross what you make of this fight well we were the ones who announced it not that everyone gave us credit for but look sure it is what it is you know what I mean haters going to hate uh yeah I think it's an absolutely stunning matchup uh obviously the two fought at amateur uh Nathan flesher got his hand raised in that one I think both guys are at the perfect place in their career for the fight to happen and yeah I think it's I think it's really compelling I think obviously it's there's you know two Liverpool gyms going head-to-head and I think also like come fight week I think this F fight will start to get a lot more attention and um if I were the UFC and when you're doing like the press conference I put both these guys on the press conference from Hest I feel like I feel like this one has the potential for a tou a bad blood in the buildup not like real bad blood but a touch of he said he said yeah well done there uh shaa bannon's also going to be fighting that card Ross it's gonna be great to see sha ban back in actually Mama B she's uh working really hard one thing I will say is H it was really really cool to see sha Aban NAD abisa Amy Scully uh em Dary uh I'm probably missing someone here uh all training together all all the K suan as well sorry um all the top Irish uh Fighters train together uh at the one time thought that was really cool to see was I'd love to see more of that yeah well it's the same with the lads over in Dubai I mean cool to see that as well yeah also like it's hard to find top female training Partners so great to see them there yeah so shaa Bannon will be on that card as well she'll be taking on uh tomr yeah who I think is under Puja Tomar s excuse me I think he as well what yeah I think she's like 4 fo1 well how tall sha five four May yeah but you said I think she's under five as well oh as yeah no just just as in like in general no because okay right right not as well as sh no um people were saying as well they want to see the likes of kefir Crosby on this card I think Kefir is still was it I have to give him credit yeah I have to hit the cross so uh you know look Luke Shaw has been out injured for a while we need a new left wing back he could maybe do a job for us and also I was back over the weekend Ross 132 and set up the third goal the winner man yeah what you do swing a ball in or what um yeah no I sort of whipped it around the back and uh for fo fans as well just because we were talking about Misfits boxing and MMA H Carl burn was playing the opposite team so if if uh if anyone's talking to him let him know that I I had him if any if anyone's looking for him he's still in B's back pocket if someone said someone has to send that to him because I never said like I noticed him and then he did not notice me so I wasn't going to start saying that loveely new death I should I should have brought the glasses man and maybe he would have noticed yeah class man he doesn't he didn't notice your new lovely physique that's it that That's it man look look people just think I'm like in terrible shape and they' be correct um Ross I think that sort of wraps up the majority of stuff um like absolutely like I know the the lik the Callum Walch fight was announced um Emma Brennan's gonna be fighting crownin um Thomas C is gonna be fighting that card H pody mcra is going to be fighting that card and we'll get more into that as time continues um because there's also the likes of Crocker is going to be taken on uh d as well like there's a lot of action there's a bit bit of boxing news that will'll probably delve in a little bit more this year yeah like next week's show we're going to be discussing all the action from UFC 31 uh hopefully Aman Shaban gets the win Bor Dubai will be going on that week we'll be getting more the fers on that are going to be competing on that Ross I think that sort of like locks in everything that we needed to talk about this week Al like also the like the the passing of a me pck like that was very very sad like I mean uh in my family right now we're there's cancer in it as well and it's a it's a terrible way to go and uh we do really like to see the MMA Comm the Irish MMA Community getting together yeah and like supporting a meal there um it's just a beautiful thing to be part of um in a sad situation but um look this RM SC is very very important to us it's very very important to many many people and uh whether you
