Did you also think because you got so much traction that night that you may have gotten a call up from like um the likes of Cage Warriors or the likes of PFL? >> I was I would really I would love to be fighting PFL or the Cage Warriors, you know, I'm a big name. I'm coming I'm just building the ranks. I'm letting Sh P Shando just build me. Um I'm in no rush. I'm in really no rush. I can I'll build I'll fight anyone and once my time comes to be fighting the PFL and the likes of Kar I'll be ready to pick anyone anyone's head off in a wall. [music] >> Diana Joy show up the >> Okay, here we go. It's time. [screaming] >> Okay, what's going on, guys? and welcome to a brand new episode of Energize brought to you by Ross and Baz. Ross, >> are you intoxicated or something? >> Introduce the guest, man. Today we have one half of the main event of Chaos Fighting Championships 26, undefeated pro mixed martial artist, the one and only, the best barber in Derry. It's Bla McIll. How are you doing, Blaine? [snorts] >> Bl. What's happening? How thanks? All good. >> All good, man. All good. >> Brilliant. Welcome to the show. >> Yeah, welcome to the show. One half main event. Unbelievable stuff, man. You absolutely stole the show at the last chaos. It was the Blame Migill show. Bring us back to that that that night. And how special was that for you? >> Oh, it was I'm so proud to be from Derry and they get the chance to fight in Derry and make my professional debut last. It was it was a dream come true. And I think just me and me dad, but my dad sells me tickets for me. My dad's like my manager. He sold 170 tickets on the night for me and oh the whole D came together and what a show not fell in first round and blood too went running I mean >> yeah get into that fight we man that was that was pure chaos as well >> that was chaos tell tell us about that what what was it like at what stage did you know he wasn't showing up and like what did that do for you like like your emotions and like trying to figure out whether you have a a backup in place or not like what what's that do for Yeah. So that day on the Thursday, Andy, I think H and Andy fell out during the week. I think he just told Andy [ __ ] up. I'll be at the I'll be at the arena. And then he text Andy Friday and said, "Here or Jason text me I was cing with in the sun and Jason text me and saying he text me saying he's going to fly in on the Saturday and I was like Jason, he's keep putting these off every day like you just need to get on the ball here. I need someone like and then on the on the Saturday or no Friday night he just he never he deleted his social media. >> Yeah. And I was like oh no this is my dreams shattered. My dreams were completely shattered. Um oh was devastated. I was crying eyes out. It was it was everything was falling into place and then Andy and Jason said leave it with us and they searched the whole country and fair play to your boy Muhammad Mayo. He jumped in and he flew. It was over in Ireland few years. >> Yeah. Look, obviously that that was obviously, you know, you you got your moment, you know, I mean, you got the first round finish. It was huge. >> But how much stress was there? Was there any stage where you're obviously you're cutting weight, you know, it's your first time cutting weight as a professional? Was there any stage where you're like, >> "Oh, will I just pack in the cutting weight?" Or were you like, were you just convinced it was going to happen for you? >> No, I just thought it was going to fall on the pistic. There were so many people texting saying like, "Oh, we can't make it because it's too short." notice and I was like, "Oh, I I just I don't know what to go through my head. I was caught. I was in the sauna and my dad was on the phone to the promotion. She's probably and I was like, is this going to happen or not?" So, I had like 2 kilo to go and then I said, "You know what? I'm going to just keep going. If anybody steps up, I'll take it at 70 to 75." That's how much I wanted to fight on the night. The fight went ahead at 73. I I still went on that day at 70.8. I still may look like a professional. Um, and there was people saying 75, they'll take it at 76. But Pat R Pat McAlister, my coach, Rang said, listen. I'll get a phone call here going and he just said he happy enough for 73 and he said, Pat, I'll fight anyone. Just get me someone. >> I'm just sort of reliving that moment like cuz obviously obviously Bla, you were fighting in it, but like yourself, we could notice that like it was like like the whole country of Ireland wanted you to fight that night. They knew it was your big night and they all really got together to be like someone has to find a pawn for Bla Migill. >> Yeah. >> Yeah. >> On the ball as well. I appreciate that. Everybody the whole everybody on Instagram was going nuts. Andy Stevenson was on it as well. >> Yeah. Yeah. The whole country United to be like Flame Migill needs his moment. >> Yes. >> Yeah. But but I think like it was obviously massive for Chaos as well. Like as you said like 170 tickets sold, you know what I mean? Like the main event like all eyes always on you, you know what I mean? Really really was. And like at the end of the day, you got your fight. And look, Muhammad came out there and like, you know, he he was baldy enough, you know what I mean? He was game enough. He was a big fell as well. Like, you know, he was he was quite tall. Like, I'm not surprised he needed the extra couple of kilos. So, like, it was it was great for you to get in there, get that opponent, but then obviously to go in there and get the finish and then what was that like after all that stress, then celebrate in front of the hometown fans? Like, that must have been absolutely insane. I'm surprised there's a roof on the venue still. [laughter] this time the roof will be getting took off this time. But no, it was amazing see just to be fighting your home crowd your professional debut entering into the pro rings. It just was it was a master class and see you have to give it to Andy and Jason McCabe. They they done everything spend a lot of money to bring this fell over. I would say a plus a fortune and it paid off. everything paid off and I just sat back at them with the lads fight in fight academy and just was so grateful for this for the opportunity and for everybody trying to get me a fight that night. I was just so blessed. >> If you if you think about it, it was actually great marketing cuz like so many people were then invested to see you playing Miguel fought that night that the whole thing actually blew up. So >> that's there was pe there was an old I was walking through Nandos one time. It was the week before the fight that turn blood fight and there was just this old fell 60 70 like you better knock that Scottish fell's block off. Even he knew about tart blood. >> Yeah, [laughter] it's crazy. >> T m that that that name would go down in Irish history. >> Yeah. >> I might change my name to blame tart and blood again [laughter] >> because uh yeah cuz you had words with him before because you because because of previous pull outs. You know what I So, there's a bit of bad blood there, but uh it's h unfortunately you couldn't squash the bad blood and uh get him out there. But look, >> he's a rat. He's doing it to everybody. I seen him in a promotion there the last time. He'll get no luck for it in life. He'll get no luck. Um a fight promotion br his taxes, paid his hotel, and then on fight day he got up, got breakfast that day and bounced. That's >> I believe I believe in karma. as a as >> I just don't understand what what that balls is like like like that's a lot of hassle just to get a free hotel room for the night. >> You know what I mean? Like it [laughter] actually is like like like yeah like obviously you're you're you're [laughter] in like a decent hotel but like it's not like you're you're staying in you know the Marion or the Rich Carlton, you know what I mean? Like you you're putting a a hotel where the fight's on and that's it for you might get a flight over that that that like obviously there there's a payday. You don't get paid if you don't fight. >> Yeah. So >> I think I think a lot of people don't actually understand what actually goes how the sausages was made for an May event in Ireland, you know. >> Yeah. Exactly. >> And it's your heart goes out to the failure fade on squared off with him and then it's just hey he's gone. You're like what way does that leave you? >> I think he's done it twice since you I think he did it to Jack Shaw or Jack Shaw and Richard Shaw's promotion as well since. >> That's bad said Karma and Karma William. >> Yeah. >> I hope so anyway. I hope so. >> I think I think the words out in him now and like it's real like the fool is on you if you book him to fight in your promotion. Like he always >> he's like a he's very good at what he does because he text me fights and then the promoter goes, "Oh, he won't do it to me." And then he fought last week and then he does it. Do you know what I mean? He fight he'll fight boxing. They'll get beat and then they they'll take an MMA fight and then they'll do it again. >> Well, like look, we have to give him enough air time. But like Blame obviously you jumped on the mic after that win. you talked to the the home crowd like uh how did that feel? And then did you also think because you got so much traction that night that you may have gotten a call up from like um the likes of Cage Warriors or the likes of PFL? >> I was I would really I would love to be fighting PFL or the Cage Warriors, you know, I'm a big name. I'm coming I'm just building the ranks. I'm letting Sh P Shando just build me. Um I'm in no rush. I'm in really no rush. freaking I'll build I'll fight anyone and once my time comes to be fighting the FFL and the likes of K I'll be ready to take anyone anyone's head off and I will >> I haven't really got to show people what I can do you know what I mean but I'll be ready but when I call >> and obviously you're you're not sure of a domestic dust up uh like you know people still talk to this day that h Miguel versus Mask is one of the best fights Ireland has ever seen h you obviously You called it Damian McKenna after your first pro debut. Why Damian? And h what makes that fight so so sort of big and so much hype behind it? >> He's from it's half an hour from Derry and he's he's doing well. He's on he's on the big scene. He's on uh Cage Wires, but I believe I'm a lot lot better and I I can bring a lot more to Cage Wires. I'm a big name for just being a one and0 pro and I feel like I would I would beat him easy enough. So that's the only reason I called him out. No disrespect against him. I just feel like I'm a 10 times better MMA fighter and I bring a lot more to the to the circuit. Do you know what I mean? >> Blame blame why why do you think you're such a big name? Like is it because like obviously myself and Ross have covered you in just Yeah. We were just like blame Miguel fight is guaranteed fireworks. Do you think it's got to like what is it that makes Bay Miguel such a big name? >> Cuz I don't I don't go into the one on points. I I see when I'm making that walking p I'm a dog. I I don't go into oh I need to run this by decision. I go on to [ __ ] kill someone. I see what goes in my through my head before that fight. I am coming on to take your head clean off your shoulders. It's that's I I come on to finish fights. I'm not coming down here for the season. You know it's either me or him. equally finish fights. I'm not I'm not here for a decision. >> Yeah. Well, that's why you actually won the energized um award there at the end of at the end of last year. So, it' be interesting to see how you'll do at the end of this year as well, won't it, Ross? >> Yeah, absolutely. Look, well, you're in the pro ranks now, so you you're you're moving up in the world, and we'd love to see you. Uh tell us this. Um, obviously there's great fighting history in Derry and Derry is a a place with with massive uh fighting heritage. >> What What is that like? Cuz I I feel like people from Derry, they're built different. You can feel it. You can feel it in the air or something up there that that it's a fighting city. >> Yeah. Well, see the support I get in Derry is is massive. There's not really MMA like pro MMA fighters in there. Roman Slav were on the rise. Um but the boxers will be like the likes of Conor Coy. Con he's on the super now. And there's one thing about Dar and they always get behind their own always. And it's just it's like the fighting we love to fight. We always every fighter always going to the fight. And I just can't wait to on the big scenes. I can really show people what I I really can do and see these elbows and knees that I had and all that suits me. See amateur was good look but I think the pro game just suits me more. >> Fair. Fair. And before before we get into November 14th ha fighting champions 26, I do want to ask you about one person one person who has been very unlucky in in in the fight game as of late as someone who you grew up fighting alongside. H big jumbo O'Neal Jordan O'Neal. The man is looking in absolutely sensational shape. H he's been probably the most unfortunate fighter with pull outs uh um I'd say in the country this year. But uh he is scheduled to fight h one more time before the end of the year. >> How good does he look? >> That's that's the 27th. That's the 27th of November at Cage Warriors 214. >> I'll be there front and row. Um Jordan's the man literally being around him. Me and him crew as you know in the amateur days me and him were a combat jiu-jitsu and we just we started off didn't have a clue we've been trained up and and then we we stuck through and moved to fight academy Ireland and see Jordan Jordan's will be a world champion he'll be probably the next K world champion 100% he is see being around him it's mentally for me it's unbelievable like there's he just pushes you and he's he's I believe he'll be a K world champion. He's he's locked in. That's at the minute and he's this fight here will show what Jordan can do. Jordan really Jordan Jordan's last fight he didn't really show what he could do. He got the one 100% but I think this is the real jumbo. We'll see this next. I know everybody says that every like oh this is the new real me. But he's down low with I think he's sitting like he's sitting low. He's ready. He's fast. He's sharp. He's ready. So, I can't wait to see after my fight here in the 14 probably flying over to Jordan for his as well. >> I think so many people say they're locked in, but like I think you can see with Jordan O'Neal he's locked in. I don't think I don't think I've I've seen a fighter that locked in in a very long time for such a long period of time. Like that man has like he look like he's changed his life around to get down to welterweight and he looks like an abs he's an absolute animal in there as well. Like anyone like you know what I mean? Like you can say the same everything you say about Bla Miguel's fight this you can say the same about Jordan O'Neal like that fella is absolutely violent and entertainment personified. you. >> I met Jordan. Jordan was my boss and barber and I used to work for Jordan and we just clicked and we just push now and train but he's really when I met Jordan he was I think Jordan was 115 man big boy and he literally he's he's made MMA's life um and that's all he wants. He wants he wants him to be in the UFC and I don't see no one in that world without him stoping it. Not one. No, he does great stuff for the community as well, getting people down to train for the for mental health awareness as well. So like anyone that Yeah. Anyone like that in your gym or in your community is like that's like gold. >> Yeah. No, he's really logged on. I can't wait to see him get this one and maybe after this one maybe call for the belt hopefully cuz I don't see no one welder. >> Yeah, it's fight with the hands down was that was that was chaos as well. Oh yeah, like Hobie does not >> I know. >> Do you know what I mean? >> That's that's why he's not getting matched. No one wants to fight someone like that. Like Jesus. Um but Bla, you're obviously fighting at Chaos 27 in the main event on November 14th in Derry against Chain Ferguson. Can you tell us a bit about your opponent and what like what you're expecting come November 14th? >> I've watched him. Um he's just one of them lads. He's a he's a hard he wouldn't turn down a fight. He's It's different level once he sees that crowd and and then he sees me coming. He's going to crumble. I'm going to knock him out in the first round. Absolutely. I believe it. It's going to happen. >> Yeah. Well, look, you know, you've been right every time so far. So, we we well believe it. He correct me wrong, he's got a bit of a bare knuckle background. Um >> he's fought at heavyweight and light heavyweight, middle. He's fought he's fought it always, but he's fighting at 70 with me with me in the 14th. Um, he's a hard up, so let's see how good he is. >> Do you think he's going to be hard to put away? I know last time we got to see a bit of grappling out of Bla McIll, which is something that we're not always used to seeing. H obviously you've got the skills there, but uh we're we're now we want to see the stand and bang, bro. [laughter] >> No, I promise I'll make I promise I'll knock him out in the first round. Um I'm just I'm saying we're the best team in Ireland in Europe. That's not the world. >> Yeah. Tell us a bit about that. Tell us a bit about that team and where they're at right now. Obviously new facilities there like what's that been like? And then obviously you know Ree McKe is u making big waves in the PFL. He'll look to make his way into the rankings on the same weekend. So tell us what's the what's the prep like and and what's the new gym like? How's that changed the game for you guys? the new gyms class and everybody's in good form. Everybody's everybody has goals and we're we're all hitting them. Um P Shando, it's a massive sh. It's crazy. They they do so much for everyone from the beginning. If you walk in that door to the top of the pros, they care about every single one of us and they they put their they're doing everything for us. Um and they watch and our watch our fighters and all and tell us to do this. They get the one and they're just they're so logged in as well. They wanted more than we wanted. Do you know what I mean? Or just as much as we wanted. It's crazy. And oh, it's a great pub for both of them. What they do for us? >> Bl who who do you think would be the next amateur to turn pro that people have to watch out for from fight academy? There's not many that Nathan Mulligan will be the next. He is he's watch Nathan Mull. >> Yeah. >> The next and there's that Benny, bro. >> Yeah. Well, no, he gave us one. He gave us one like No, myself and Ross probably agreeing that Nathan's definitely one to watch out for, isn't he, Ross? >> Yeah, he's he's definitely he's definitely [ __ ] hot right now anyway. You know what I mean? the last the last knockout like I think the fight before I think I saw him getting Peruvian choke in like he just looks like he has all the skills to pay the bills and he also make he makes he makes it look effortless as he does it as well so like you know I mean it' be very interesting to see him in there like you know in a in a tough sort of dog fight and see what see what that that why that goes >> he's brilliant there's Shawn McGreby as well Shawn McGreby's very very good um he's fighting on hit uh in December as well. Sober no for him as well. He's >> he's unbelievable. >> Yeah. And then Blaine, obviously before we let you go cuz you have to go and take a take a load of selfies with the the fans in there. But um you obviously have your you obviously have your own fight promotion coming as well in 2027. Can you tell a bit about that as well? >> Promotion L is coming in April 2027. Um it's we're just getting stuff over the line, but it's a good venue, historical building in D. So, I'm looking forward to it and getting matching underway and there there's going to be a lot of pro fights. Hopefully, three pro fights, three amateur titles on it as well. >> Yeah. So, that's the fight uh fight series. >> Yeah. D fight series. Yeah. >> Yeah. On the 27th of the 4th in 2027. So, make sure we'll be looking forward to that as well. Uh Bla, anything else you want to say to people that will be tuning in to see you compete on November 14th in Derry at Chaos 27. So, make sure to get your tickets. get your tickets um chaos um fighting championships and just expect a knock out in the first round and training so much and and putting all the hard work in and just staying ready for that big ball of cage wars or PFL or anything comes but I'll be ready locked on this year as well so I'm ready >> and then one last question for me who's the better barber Jumbo O'Neal or Bla Migill >> taught [laughter] him everything I taught him everything he knows the the the disciple has become the master [laughter] >> well we want to thank you very much for your time best of skill on November 14th and we'll let you get on with the rest of your day bud >> nice one that see >> the enjoy show up the Irish >> so Ross that was Bla Migill your favorite barber man >> yeah look Blaine is uh always good to have on the show he always brings the noise inside and outside the cage um real is good as well and uh phenomenal barber, half decent. No, I'm joking. Great fighter. So, uh look, we're looking forward to seeing him uh bring the noise and he really really does bring the noise for Chaos Fighting Championship 27. I think I call it 26. The last time you fought was 26. >> Yeah, >> typical me. >> Yeah. >> So, yeah, right. >> If you are new to the Energize Show, make sure to like and subscribe. And also, if you can give us the hype as well, we'd really, really appreciate that cuz we are here every week, aren't we, Ross? We absolutely are. We do not miss. We do not miss. You up the lad. Except for that one time you missed. Uh but Bosmo tells us this. Chaos 27 is pretty pretty big car going down in there, isn't it? Great to see you. >> Well, look, Bla McGill main event like the lads and Jason and Andy know exactly what's going on getting Blaine on the top of the bill. And then also another local fighter James Slavin will be back on the card as well. And there will also be Daniel Thompson on the card as well. And then there's a like this this fight. I know Cory McLolin was meant to fight in this card, but he's now off it. But this the person who has stepped in is P O'Dhill from >> Rhino. Yeah. Peter Do PJ Black Belt. Uh there's life in the old dog. Yeah. Uh Doer is probably mid4s at this stage. H he he actually just won on Legacy Fight Night in the boxing there at the weekend and he's stepping in Chaos 27 fighting championships to fight Joe Ari. Look, Dor is an absolute dog. Like he's fought on Polaris in jiu-jitsu. He's uh massive wins at ADCC. Like he used to fight MMA back in the day. He's back boxing now. Like the guy's got the skills to pay the bills. So he he's definitely not coming in there to make up the numbers. He's a serious competitor. He competes all the time and uh look, I'm really looking forward to seeing what he does in there. Um he was throwing bombs at the weekend. I saw some of the highlights of his fight. So, uh he means business and he's always in phenomenal shape. So, uh look, load loads of pro fights there. Sean Kelly's also fighting on this card as well. Haven't seen him in a hot minute. So, he's fighting against Michelle Sheperano. Um so, yeah, man. I think this chaos card is going to be very, very interesting from start to finish. Um, we have some title fights as well. Max Mafy's fighting Toby McNan. Uh, good to see Leon Davies back. He's a really, really good jits guy. Patrick Divine versus Jack Dale. That's another fight that I look forward to seeing. So, look, this chaos card is stacked from top to bottom. Uh, we'll give you a full preview probably next week on the show along with all the other previews. Next week's show is going to be absolutely whopper. uh 14th of November is probably up there with the biggest weekend of MMA in the country for the entire year. So, uh I can't wait to see it. But yeah, Chaos is looking great. Have to have to give them a shout out for putting together such a good card and uh we're definitely looking forward to covering it next weekend, Basmo. >> Yeah. Well, the thing is it's going to be action-packed. Obviously there's some fighting Irish fighting over in the PFL Dubai but like in Ireland there's going to be a big show obviously in Derry and then which is Chaos 27 and then there's also going to be a big show going on in Cork Elite Fighting Championships 10. So like >> yeah there's going to be over 10 pro fights on the regional scene in Ireland. >> We're going to be working overtime for him that night. So that's why you have to make sure to check out the Android Show's Instagram page for all the little updates. Myself and Ross haven't we haven't agreed yet on who's going to be covering what show. So, let us know if you want Ross to cover Chaos or you want Ross to cover Elite. Or maybe he should do both. >> It's about time you carried your weight around here, Ross. >> Typical me. Typical me. Yeah, I do nothing. >> Do nothing, mate. You're just look you're just looking fabulous on camera doing all the postplay interviews, mate. >> Yeah, but look, it's going to be it's going to be a big one. H it's going to be a big one. um Bla McIll and James Lavin, obviously two two massive names in Derry. Uh we can't wait to see it. It's it's going to be it's going to be a big event. And then obviously shout out to Bario Callahan and the lads down in Cork as well. We'll be bringing you all the actual We sort of did a preview on that last week, but we'll do a full preview fight by fight for both shows next week. Well, at least all the pro fights anyway. Basmo. >> Yeah, man. It's going next. Yeah, next week's show is going to be I was looking at like next week's show is going to be massive. Obviously, this is well, can it be bigger than a Bla McGill show? We will find out. Um, Ross, so we're going to cover what fighting Irish are fighting this week and then we'll get into the UFC action that happened over the weekend and is coming this weekend as well. Um, we have to start off from over the weekend at Octagon 96 as Brian Manning was the only Irish MAMA fighter fighting over the weekend in Munich. First of all, Ross, his walk out went viral. He was unfortunate in the cage after. What did you make of the Brian Manning fight week and the fight itself? >> Look, everything up until stepping into the cage went perfectly for Ryan Manning that week. He looked great on weight. The walk out looked great. All the pro promo buildup the fight that all went fantastic as well. Um, no complaints there. Like you even had the likes of Ariel Hwani sharing the walk out and all afterwards like it it is what it is, you know what I mean? like what do you we expect nothing less Halloween night Brian Manning all all the main characters were out for Halloween for Brian Manning and it was absolutely epic and shout out to Octagon as well for you know letting Brian Manning do that walk out you know I mean I suppose you know most people probably watch UFC on a pro scale and like it's it's very uniformal the walkouts so uh to see someone be able to put their own twist on it was really really cool in terms of the actual fight itself look I thought it was a bit of an early stoppage for my liking. Um, obviously Brian was eating some some fairly decent shots. Um, Barkle, is that if that's how or Bartle, if that's how you say his name, h was on his back and he was sort of landing some nice elbows from from the top. Look, you Bartle was definitely winning the fight like you know I mean at the time like there's no no ifs and buts about that but at the end of the day I think Brian Manning is someone who should be given every chance to you know turn that around turn that position around and fight back from there but um look at the end of the day because he's such a big name and because of the eyes he brings and the presence he brings Octagon are putting him in there against these super super high high experienced fighters, guys with 30 plus fights. And I think it will be good to see a little step back in competition for Brian. Maybe he fights a fellow who's five and one next or he fights a fellow who's even, you know, 10 and three next or something like that. I think will be a a nice a nice sort of a experience level of opponent next for Brian Manning. >> I' I'd agree. You see that his issue is now he's actually like a like a big name for for Octagon over here especially. So, you can't really have him like being the curtain jerker. You almost have to have him nearly on the main card. >> So, >> but I think his name is big enough now that he they can just put him there and the Bside doesn't actually necessarily have to be a well-known fighter. >> Yeah, >> exactly. >> So, look, look, we'll be keeping you up to date with that as well. Well, obviously Brian was very disappointed after, but look, he he will he he didn't take a massive amount of damage, so he could he said he wants to fight at the end of the year show, so I wouldn't be surprised to see him there. >> Yeah, definitely. I love to see him. And look, uh we hope all is well with Brian and we hope we get to see him again to write those wrongs. But I suppose we might as well go from one villain of Octagon to uh the other one. H Dennis the menace Frim Pong is back this this weekend. from Basmo and he is fighting at Octagon 97. Would have been cool to have them both on the same card. Um but uh Dennis the Menace Fong looking forward to see him get back out there. Uh last time he didn't really get to show the improvements that that he'd like to like to make. It was a quite quite a fast uh finish. It was it was it was a huge finish for his opponent last time out. But uh look, I'm looking forward to seeing Dennis Shrimpon get back in there. He's someone who I enjoy not only again like Brian Manning in the builds of the fights, you know what I mean? Getting his opponent's head talk is a little bit of trash as he does, but also when he gets in there, he's also entertaining to watch on on that front as well. So looking forward to seeing Dennis the men back and seeing what he can do. >> Yeah, that goes down this Saturday night. And also on Saturday night, Cage Warriors 212 goes down in Spain and you have to watch out for Patty Rutled. Um, obviously Patty is an Irish fighter living in Spain and um, he was originally scheduled to be the main event of this, but due to a new opponent, he's now as of right now on the website the co-main event. Patty Rage made a big splash last time. Ross, what are you expecting this time around? >> Yeah, look, it's actually a bit of a funny one. This is a Spanish showcase in London, uh, believe it or not. So, it's a bit of a bit of a funny, uh, show, but look, obviously Cage Wires are flirting with the idea of going to Spain. I'd love to see them go to Spain. members would love to go to Spain for Cage Wires. Um, but >> sure would Patty Rutled is someone who came onto our radar on the Cage Warrior scene. Uh, really made a big splash. Looks to be a guy who's there thereabouts, ready to rock towards the contenders uh, at the top of the division at Banite. So, I'm looking forward to it. Um, it's it's funny seeing an Irish man speak such h fluent Spanish with such ease. So, uh, look, I think I think he is the guy. So, let's see. And look, there's not a lot of Irish bantom weights in Cage Wire. So, it's cool to see someone in that division. >> Yeah, we'll be keeping you up to date on that as well. As I said, it'll be on Saturday night. Then on Sunday, we the SPG Ireland duo, Cloudy Pachella and Shane Mullen are both fighting. Claudia Pella is fighting on Shock FC and Shane Mullen's fighting on BFL. So, make sure to keep an eye on our Instagram page. We'll be keeping you up to date with all that action. Um, as I said, um, Ross said earlier, Elite Fighting Champions is going down next weekend and so is Chaos Fighting Championships as well. Um, Ross, before we wrap things up, we have to just discuss some of the UFC news as over the weekend, Ronaldo Moano was defeated by Tom Nolan in the UFC Apex. Ross, that's a big win for Tom Nolan. >> Yeah, it absolutely is. Look, that that launches him into those uh lightweight rankings. I think he was already there, but more just brings him right up there. And I suppose beating Moano, you're only going to get a big name after that. You know, >> you you you thought he was going to win that fight as well. >> Yeah, I did. I think I I didn't think Moano has a lot left to offer. I think he's very much a limous test. If he can beat um Moano, you're there. And if he can't, like you're not. So like going into that, I think he was ranked 12. And I think Mo is rank eight. Like I could easily see Tom Nolan going in there next against a a Benois Saint Deni or Matteas Garrot. I think they're sort of the opponents he might be looking at next. Interesting to see if they'll ever do Quail Salid versus Tom Nolan one. I feel like they're the two young ones on the block at the moment. And >> Sal kid is fighting Ben Was today. >> Is he okay there? There we have a Basma with all the matchmaking skills to pay the bills. Yeah, >> but another one would be uh Tom Nolan versus Hafel Physizv. I know Fizzv is actually ranked below, but I just think namewise I think that's a good fight for him, you know. >> No, that would definitely be a good one. Then Ross, this weekend um the UFC is back as Johnny Walker is taking on Wall Cortez Aosta in the main event. Ross, everyone is a big fan of Johnny Walker ever since he like fought in SG Arland. Always entertaining as well, man. Yeah, absolutely. always entertaining. H as the ball Kaso Ortiz, he's uh he he's a big big guy, heavy hitter. It's going to be interesting to see can Johnny Walker be elusive enough to not get hit with the big bombs and get in there and try and get the finish. I think this weight class suits Johnny Walker so much better. I think he is lighting his feet at heavyweight. I think his movement is something that the other heavyweights uh can't really cope with. and the speed kills. I think he has a potential to get get in and out there. And also uh it's funny cuz uh Wallo Cortez Aosta is ranked eight. Johnny is ranked 12, but Johnny Walker's brother is ranked 11. So can he leave Frog's brother in the UFC heavyweight rankings? That is something that uh I think could be very interested to see. Will we ever see Walker on Walker violence at heavyweight? >> That's what I was That's [laughter] what I was going to ask. >> Although if we were I'd be backing Walter. Walter keeps on heel hooking everyone. So like that that seems to be like a secret weapon. >> Yeah, that that Yeah, man. He he loves that taking heel. Um then the co-main event, Tatiana Suarez is taking on Verna Jean Robova and also we want to give a shout out to Davy Grant who's fighting Aloy Smith as well. Um Ross, next week as well we'll be covering UFC 334 as obviously S Gan is taking on Josh Hawin for the UFC heavyweight title. Kale Harrison's going to be fighting Amanda Nunes for the bantamweight title in the co-main event. Zero for that fight. There is zero hype for that fight, but I think it's because it's been it's been cancelled twice. So, >> yeah. So, but h we will be discussing that in more detail next week. So, that obviously wraps up things. Ross, is there anything you want to say to the people that tune in week in week out, like and subscribe and uh support us week in week out. >> Just want to say thank you year out. >> Just want to say thank you to everyone year in year out who um do support us. Um, coming up shortly enough in the probably this time next month, we'll start discussing the Energize End of Year awards. So, if there is any awards that you would like to see us give out that we've never given out before, please do let us know in the comments. Um, we obviously had I think amateur and pro fighter of the year in a variety of different weight classes last year. I think we'll probably keep that. We had lots of things from commentator of the year, um, cut team of the year, referee of the year, promotion of the year. >> We did a lot of them. So, let us know what you think, uh, or what you'd like to see from us and what awards should we be giving out. >> Most annoying fan of the year. >> Yeah, man. You'd have that sewn up. [laughter] >> [gasps] >> Oh, you know yourself. Ross, anything else you want to say, man? Another great show. Bas on top, man. >> Yeah, Blaine's always good crack to have on. Always enjoy chatting away to him. Uh, I think this this week is the calm before the storm. Next week is going to be one of the biggest weekends in Irish MMA of the year. So, really looking forward to it. And you know what that means? A heavy week means the page is going to be absolutely flooded with content. So, uh, expect the content to start probably coming out on Sunday, I'd say this week, uh, for next week to fit it all in with the extra days. Basmo. >> Yeah. So, make sure to like, make sure to share, make sure to subscribe, and as always, >> stay entered. >> Live from the Mecca, the world's most famous arena, Madison Square Garden. Yeah, it is [music] time. Introducing first, fighting out of the blue corner. This man is a caster and he's been a diehard UFC fan for eight years. His favorite fight of all time is Bobby Lawler versus Rory McDonald at UFC 189. He fights out of his hometown, Dublin, Ireland. Please welcome Ross the champ. >> Yes, >> the Enjoy Show. Up the Irish. It's the face that runs the place Chaos Cortis. I want to thank the Irish MMA community so much for getting behind me. Yep. The Chaos Cartel.
