ran H how excited are you for uh fight in Championship three I'm I'm super excited man super excited I can't wait to get it's my second Pro fight two and0 before the year out fighting a f called Moretti I whoop his ass and have a Moretti after boom we love it we love it and Brian tell us this uh it feels like Elite Fighting Championship was like nearly built around you do you do you feel like that you this is your third headline act in a row how good is it to have uh an amateur show down in Cork Savage man and like it's built around like the level of competition the level of Fighters on the card is here like the card is Savage you have title fights hog driver Johnny dougen Lee MC not a beast I like I understand where I'm the show man and the joke or I'm a different [ __ ] character every every show so I get the main event spot uh but as as as far as the level of fighting goes all of us on a serious level and a car like it wouldn't be nothing without to all the lads as well myself obviously the top top of the bill but as I said you have great cars or great Fighters and should should be make for a great night no actually will be the the lamb has to be the man event you I mean the L has to be the man event I won't be humble there for the people tuning in now EFC goes tree goes down this Saturday in Cork make sure to get on De bruyne's Instagram to get a ticket for this uh or even to get the stream because this event is not to be missed end of the year show Ross absolutely this is this is the last fighting show of the year in the country uh it is M TV bit like bit like Brian Manning H Brian tell us this where where did the characters come from what gave you the idea to the characters first one I'll tell you now right it came from like I just hard of it myself man I didn't watch anyone I never saw no one walking up like Michael Myers or or saw whatever the [ __ ] and like I remember the D St back from the D War fight and I was W and it was so dark between us it really is his personal beef like I'm still be with the man and it just I felt it was very dark very dark that fight I was like do you I know I should walk up with a mask on or something then I was thinking you know I know [ __ ] Michael Myers will fit the bill so I had to watch Halloween of course watch Michael Myers be on the place and then [ __ ] I said look I'll get that mask and do the walko and that was only with a mask and then from there it just took off and here we are no one going out in full [ __ ] suits masks weapons I'll be bringing up next yeah and tell us this what what is the beef with our award yeah just [ __ ] just the lack of respect and just I might we might get that [ __ ] cage Waters who knows but I I don't really want to talk about him too much I want to focus on myself my own fight but with dward it just it's just a bit personal you know just a lack of respect and just it wasn't squashed and still on going so we'll see where that goes we'll see if I go to cage as I said another [ __ ] bum bum stuff is the bum stuff who do you think you are we can do the bum stuff right that can be also next year but as I said before I focus on me I concentrate on me and I'm not going to go after less of an opponent for this you know if I go after let's say a good opponent over in [ __ ] octagon cage Warriors if if it's a better fight if it's a pay is better if it's a better opportunity I'm G to take that I'm not going to chase all these little [ __ ] bums you know what I mean yeah Brian chase me Ron in the F game it's it's very hard to stand out like what was the reaction once you started coming out with the the sort of mask the reaction was was Savage man always like my like all my my Instagram and stuff and people bz me say what are you going to walk out to next and the reaction has been like that's why I kept on doing it you I know the reaction was getting some and as well getting interviews with likes of yourselves and The Old Triangle and and other other big podcast you know what I mean so get getting the attention of a lot of people because you you up there only do the Dos now [ __ ] yeah so like it's good to get a it's it's good to get get recognition for it and I guarantee you right imagine I I could have done a lot more with the the promo for the show maybe and maybe walk over with something Madden but I'm going to save all that by for next year wait till octagon or C his way to live more exposure and then like UFC come knocking after a few fights and I'm going to build up to something big here and I believe myself 100% put the hoodie on Brian is that is that something that you see for yourself in the future is are you manifesting that I manifesting that look at this [ __ ] man look look this is just around the place but soon I'll be R the official soon I'll be R the official maybe not soon maybe not might be next year could be the year after but I'm going to start making waves and I believe I'll get there I believe the door open have these other promotion's been been in touch Brian because like obviously when you fight it goes quite it goes all across the country yeah they have been in touch they have been in touch they've been talking to my manager no obviously the UFC Jesus Christ I wouldn't be only had one fight you know what I mean but the promotions the Gateway promotions to get there have been a touch and I will be fighting on them 100% it depends now what I want to do my coach and wants to do my manager on we'll sit down we'll talk we'll say do you want to stay Regional for another one or two fights with the old bum stuff or do we want to maybe go to octagon or cage Warriors and see if they're probably more than likely going across the water that's what probably gonna do go on a [ __ ] H and tell us this Brian Ward the negotiations with the promotions would part of it have to do with how they promote yourself and like what sort of part of the negotiations with the uh with these promotions would part of that be how they let you promote yourself and what sort of like you know things you could do to make yourself Stand Out is that something that you talking about with them that's that's something that we that's something that's been discussed these [ __ ] have been looking at my promos you know just they're going to watch the Pay-Per-View they're going to they're watch they're going to be watching this fight Saturday night so it's a good thing I I you know like I'll be able to give that to my other teammates you know my buddies in the gym so they like they they know that they're watching they'll up their performance they up their game and there's a lot of talent coming through MMA CK you know what I mean a lot of talent yeah Brian do you feel like uh MMA in Cork has been disrespected not only by ourselves but other people I think oh yeah man I think not disrespected like I yeah yeah look I think everything everything's about Dublin everything's always mostly about Dublin or up nor something people don't look down south and there's a lot of [ __ ] Talent down south a lot of talent a lot of quality gym Samson SBG ourselves and we're kind of we're overlooked a little bit especially like some shows only one who came out the C in the recent years I can think of was n with Premier everything else is going to we have to know ourselves and get our own shows down in cark you know what I mean but yeah overlook this Mar but look that's going to change that's going to like we're the biggest [ __ ] County in Ireland the real Capital bro the real Capital so that was change well look I think um you know things will change over time and I think now that M cork now has know you know three professional fighters on the ranks and like who are winning between yourself Paul Bley and John Mitchell I think like that goes a long way I think like that will also encourage other young kids from the cork area to go to a gym and to start out on their MMA journey I think like that's where you'll see the real changes happen you know I mean not just use but the Next Generation after you generation man and we I I'm seen it in the gym already there's young kids in the gym young Oliver Bal coming through and Jacob and [ __ ] a lot of other teenss that these boys are 16 17 and they're [ __ ] doing [ __ ] that I can't even do half the time G me so the level coming through is insane and that's that's only you know so I can imagine as you said there like young Fells coming up kids 10 11 12 and it's only get more and more popular so Savages bro Savages coming through the gym do you feel like do you feel like you you could you're going to be that Shining Light of cork MMA I think I am I think I am for for a long while as long as I as long as I look after my body I'm I'm I'm a prime 29 is what I am yeah a prime 29 just turned this year so you know what I mean I'm I'm in my Prime if I look after my body well stay off the booze and [ __ ] uh eat clean go to the stay at the gym and I train all I do is train I don't work a normal job you know I do pts I I stopped working normal jobs years ago and I just put everything into this and that's what I'm going to keep on doing because look I I started MMA fighting I started train MMA 25 and now in 29 look what I am imagine give me another two years three years of just total commitment you know I think this gu a limit man I really do so I think I could be I could be up there in in the next couple of years and just starting with that stepping stone so AC building up there's other promotions out there so it's a it's a ex exciting times ahead you know what I mean yeah big time and like also think at the moment like for because middleweight um sort of just recently had a few people who are going pro or looking to go pro you're definitely the fight to get as well and I think like bit of Ireland on Ireland War at cage Warriors in April will be absolutely i' be here for it like I know like you were previously meant to fight I think Graeme Sheen before I think h Sean Kelly just went pro there was a bit of back and forth there F the top of a hat i' fight them all I know P MC Rory's middle way too wasn't he and he's very good fighter but I FY myself against him even now I'm only starting out but I FY myself up there up the middle weights you know what I mean so they could be a big fight for me don't very very soon I could be two and0 I could be three and0 by February and then like as soon we're talking about me knowy and gr Sheen and these fellas but soon I'm going to go they're going to be here I'm G to go you what I mean they even past P MC there my plans to go to go very big you know what I mean well like we could we can definitely see the aspirations are lofty you know big time Big Time know I know what I'm like in the gym man I know what I do I know the commitment I put in you know and the key thing is here right some people are are gym are gym heads are gym Wars they gym winners you know what I mean whereas I I'm a game there [ __ ] I'm under under the lights under the big pressure already at this stage of my career I always perform Under The Lights win or [ __ ] lose you know what I mean so I have that down to a te so these fellas can think they this and that they might look good in the gym and tell him oh you can beat him but when it's under the lights when the pressure's on it's a big show only the lamb turns up you know what I mean exactly Bri Brian you're OB competing this Saturday but uh we just want to go back to September when you made your debut against Jordan heat uh you're obviously won and0 now can you tell us what was it like going into that fight making your pro debut and what was it like getting the win Savage man it was no better feeling probably my bit the best feeling I got so far because I I lacked the finishes an amateur you know what I mean I was at only a short space of time and no I get dominant wins against [ __ ] already dominant Champions you know I mean and I'm 30 27 them I'm not just beating them Split Decision 29 28 30 27 in these fell and these are top of the bill and I I like I want to fights like as hard as that for a good few first damage or Pro fights you know what I mean but [ __ ] as I said lack to finish this but no I said the second I start knocking people out right which I have my power I know I do the second I start knocking people out I'm just going it's going to be like bowling balls bum bum bu Bo boom I'm I'm going to start I'm going to roll them up reel them up right St heat is going to go again with Mor and then I'm going to do that there now on Saturday and then after that as I said like bowling pins knocking them all down done once I find my feet which I I did with Jordan heat and a good performance even though the level was different but look that's that's that's how it goes the pro deut and stuff you you you're not going to that's that's usually the way things go isn't it but it's not like boxing at least that it goes 20 fights and you fight these kind of fellas but yeah but it's not like you didn't fight the hard fights on the way there like you 100% you know every [ __ ] fight I had in Amur was nearly was nearly [ __ ] top tier you know all Entertainer fights Wars Blood Sweat and concussions and it's a bit of a funny one because if someone asked me about your FS side I would have been like very aggressive Striker you know what I mean and like people think I'm a wrestler do you think so people think some I agree with you I'm a very aggressive striker % but people think I'm a wrestler it's [ __ ] gas man but that's a good sign for me they think I'm a wrestler but I'm really a boxer you know what I mean I'm a striker what well thank God you got the KO overheat because uh people were starting to say uh bran the decision Merchant Manning that's what they were trying to say yeah you couldn't have that I was like and I got it done in 60 seconds you know not like [ __ ] bum stuff sniffing his ass for [ __ ] four and a half minutes and then getting the finish on the Fe I got it done boys this is how my that was my [ __ ] jab I got done with a jab never mind the right hand wait till the right hand comes but that was a jab and then vicious ground and pound you're going to see more of that now Saturday night because up here in Dublin people were saying you're the decision Merchant but like they're obviously wrong just trying to wave me up no bo in the the Dos po poor is gonna goonna eat all this now all of and then he can have a merti too with me after Moretti having a Moretti after getting smashed up was this a change of opponent or am I Mist was yeah yeah yeah the other fell had a vagina problem as I said he hurt his [ __ ] he [ __ ] he ranged his wrist or something you know look do you expect that now Brian do you do you expect someone to pull out when you do you expect your first opponent to pull out and you be like I probably won end up even fighting this guy when his first now yeah look I I have I have had a lot of them and a lot of them with close distance to the fight you know with two weeks like fight week or something that was a that was a massive amateur fight to Finish the for the two of us like but wasn't meant to be but yeah you expect these poos these things happen but like they happened me as well I I've broken foots and concussions and broken Knuckles and I still went in a f you know what I mean you can fight through mad injuries no there is some real injuries there is some real injuries there's bad concussions there's obviously broken like Snap bones but like for the most you're a fighter man everyone's [ __ ] injured go go in a fight not a sore wrist or a sore [ __ ] or whatever you have you know and obviously last time out in September like the atmosphere was crazy like your walk went voral like like how many how many people how many people you expect how many people you expecting this Saturday and like how big do you expect it to be and it's three days before Cru by and it's still going to be a lot of people you know and that's why I dish out the promos and doing this and that as as my manager said a media machine I'm always at it I'm always looking to real them in and you know I give them a great I like to [ __ ] I don't like just to get these people in for the show like I want to entertain I want to give them I want to be them EA their popcorn drinking their P being like [ __ ] hell and I've given that so far I want to give more of them I want to give a I want to entertain people with Knockouts with vicious Knockouts and [ __ ] walkouts like I'm in a [ __ ] movie or something you know what I mean so that's what I want to be do will it be frany dress this Saturday it's Halloween bro it's Halloween Saturday I love it Halloween dress Santa we see we see I might do that might do that in ten I go to ten Tre after fight so I might go s and Brian tell us this H obviously you know you've been the pr of the other fighters on the card H who should people be looking out for besides yourself Liam [ __ ] didn't even have to think about that def is a Savage he's a [ __ ] Savage we haven't seen much of him he's been unlucky with some injuries and this and that and he'll be back in the cage this week in and he's a [ __ ] Savage he's want to watch He's one to watch for for sure no of course and we have to know people are like some people he has been in amate he got injured a couple years back remember he's to fight with Conor mccy yeah oh I actually we I actually think either I was either call that fight that was on SPG wasn't it that was sorry was that the Nationals was that no that was no this was a different fight this was this all you are title fight title fight and just yeah he broke his wrist unfortunately and um yeah but he'll be back and people are going to see why he's like especially with elbows involved definely he's something else and with elbows he's one to watch so also me I want to watch so that's that's it really and um there's other great fights great Sam driver's coming up he's going to be Pro soon Evan Hogan has W to [ __ ] watch in the amateurs he's going to be T Pro soon Johnny dougen in the title fight just some great fights in that [ __ ] Carman great fights I wish I could watch it but I just have to focus on my own fight yeah sh it to Johnny do as well he's a big fan of the show so yeah yeah I'm a big fan of the show too boys you're doing great work give me glasses you're gonna send me other pair of those enjoying this uh oh keran Vernon yeah the list goes longer geez could be your all could be all all decade but way more cork than goway anyway hold get him back in the show man get him back in the show unbelievable unbelievable but a good thing to discuss before we wrap it up because uh he brought the energy man that was a last week we had Sheron first time on the show this time Brian Manning on the show where like the way he comes out with the masks and stuff uh the props you you'd say like for MMA fans or fo fans like this it's entertainment this this game is just not about getting wins it's about doing it with like and bringing bringing the aura but like where do you think his style would fit um obviously UFC is not the next thing but I mean what sort of promotion you think it would suit him best oh I'd love to see him on cage rers uh to be honest next um I know octagon is there but like sometimes I feel like you know they do a lot of shows in Eastern Europe and you might get lost in the shuffle I think at least do a one foight deal cage Warriors Dublin let him do his funky walk out in cage Warriors Dublin see how he gets on and go from there and I think like a domestic fight like I said between him and maybe a Sean Kelly or him and a gra machine will be huge I think that fight you call Dar Ward Yeah well yeah but the only thing is I don't know Dar Ward is fighting a welway he fights a middleweight so I don't know how that would actually go down but like if he can get the welterweight or dward wants to go up like and they want to do that fair enough like I'm here for that as well but uh I think like a big domestic fight like that with him on one side would Garner a lot of attention it would get a lot of vol balls yeah and they allow you to walk out the masks like Luke Shanks does it I think someone else did it before yeah exactly so he like he definitely uh he definitely do great work there and I think like whatever character he is he should work with like uh I don't know whether he works with Allure or capture Athletics or whatever and like just say he's the Joker he should come out with like purple and green shorts and then like his shorts should be joker esque as well good point yeah and it'd be great to get some more cork faces on it because he mentioned the premere was the only event that went down there to Cork but the cage Warriors was there as well remember I think it was the last time inary fought yeah no I think you said the last one was the last one was Premier yeah so look h i be all for more PR otions going to Cork okay um Ross I want you to tell me what other fight on the card are you looking for because obviously Brian's going to be a bit biased towards the MMA cork fights well look we were only talking off a there Lee mcho that uh I remember watching him at the Nationals I was really really impressed him H he beat e Ethan garan there he lost Jordan Fury but like obviously Jordan Fury's an absolute killer I think Le Mel was only like 19 or something at the time so definitely looking forward to that um Jordan Brad uh making his proud uh debut obviously fighting out a CAC um you know I mean they're turning out uh unbelievable young professionals obviously you know Keith K Alexan I think kivan will probably make her Pro debut next year as well and then Jake [ __ ] who's also from Zac as well uh top fighter there as well and can't not say um Big shout out to my man Johnny Dugan what to you baso uh on this card I was looking at well I was looking at Amy scoty fighting in Ireland she's fighting Emily radev so uh there's two girls fights on this card actually as well uh Jody the Beast McCarthy as well she's competing on this card and [Music] um like we're looking at it I'm sort of surprised it's actually like such a great card going on down in Cork and like they're you'd swear that um the was on this card like that's that's Whopper considering she just won the the OA uh yeah but even yeah but even Usef against Evan Horan that's a big one as well yeah you know it's a great card like uh bar Khan an unbelievable job putting this card together he's I know we probably say one song hereo quite a lot it's probably overused phrase for us but like he definitely is like he definitely driving M May and Cork and giving these Fighters a chance to fight in front of their friends and family uh cuz obviously you know going up to Belfast or going to Derry or going to D like that's obviously like a long trip if you're going from Cork so H to be able to fight in in their Hometown in front their friends and family it's absolutely brilliant so uh fair play to everyone down in El leite Fighting Championship I can't wait for it um yeah like you said two um two of the hottest prospects in Women's Amateur May and Amy scy and um Jodie McCarthy both fighting the car both will uh have uh have the people very interested in them here here end of your show man it's it's getting a bit it's a bit uh it's been a long year but uh it's been a very entertaining year um before we move on uh if you are new to the show make sure to like And subscribe because we want to get into the world of the UFC Ross over the weekend Dr stoppage W Booky defeated kobby Covington right we're not going to get massively into detail about this now right but uh obviously it's been a mad year in the world of the the UFC but uh I want to ask you what is the most memorable event from the UFC this year for you you can give me a top three but I want to know what number one is baby I'm actually to between two it's either the sphere or UFC 300 they were the two big ones like I think the sphere as a spectacle was like probably the most iconic event but I think Max Holloway versus Justin gagei like that that moment like I think will live in MMA history forever so I'm going to say that was the moment of the year and for me UFC 300 was the event of the Year hallay versus gagei oh man I actually you know what I only asked you that because what I was thinking back in the year I was the first thing that just flashed into my my absolute my brain was just that knockout Max holay gagei so like it but uh the sphere didn't come to mind but if you're going to add another one to that what would it be maybe maybe Toria uh UFC 308 knocking out Max Holloway as well I think that was that felt like a huge moment um you know what I mean like and just toor and Pereira both those as Fighters you know I mean anytime they they made the walk it felt very special this year um splitting hairs deciding who who should be fighter of the Year there obviously uh Toria beat the better competition but I think sometimes you have to look at the circumstances that Alex came in on short not on multiple occasion to save the day and uh he got the job done so like those two um it was their year to pair them yeah and just looking back at the pay-per-views here um first one of the year was fanovi being defeated by Toria um shaali being def shaal actually defeating Cheto Vera 299 uh you see 300 it was actually headline but it's funny how you think of the max Holloway KO 300 because the main event was Jamal Hill getting knocked out by Pereira obviously they had the famous uh Pereira getting kicked in the cup and then telling her D was Grand then knocking out Jamal Hill about 10 seconds later then uh actually I don't have 301 written down you know it off by the top of the head do you was 301 was that a ptoa card now in Brazil potentially I didn't have that written down maybe maybe I've had these wrong maybe I'm the Champion uh Trio 2 makev defeating porier Trio Tre H versus of IG in Brazil jeez probably the worst pay-per-view card of the year uh 303 PR defeating prasa 204 uh Bal Muhammad defeating Leon Edwards then 20 five Place defeating Adisa 306 alali losing to morab and shev shenko defeating Grasso that was the sphere wasn't it yeah J M they just looking back at the year here uh 307 PR to defeating rry geez that doesn't take a day off uh also 307 Pennington def is defeated by Julian pñ 308 Toria defeating holay 309 miic losing the Jones and 310 panta defeat asakura I didn't have 3 one written now interesting yeah maybe because it was Panos versus xic that one nobody tuned into that breakdown man geez but uh what a year what a year right what year right yeah anything from the year that like you sort of like any out the blue moments that you think geez that was that was wild I think when uh you know what there's certain things that like really stood out to me like first of all prayer is activity in the biggest fights like it's I don't think we've ever seen an likea then uh topor the way there's like rocket launchers coming out of his fists like it's shocking like it's devastating um like aspal sort of living up to the reputation and then hopefully aspal against Jones is the f I want to see next year I'd love to hear your opinion on what fight you'd like to see next year and then um no it was just uh I think it was a very very good year but what sort of fights do 2024 R like you probably wanted to join do this is this is no just just like there was random things throughout the year that I thought like I was like Wow boy uh I think like Paul hu's leaping up the rank uh on the Bellator side things obvious he fights early next year for for the lightweight title there and like l m was like James Sheen when the wewe belt at cage Warriors um Ian Gary continuing uh too uh like a will flurry Redemption Arc in octagon he'll be fighting for the belt next um Andreas binder obviously like had like some Bob M white misses with the pfl and I feel like he really redeemed himself in the lfl well um so shout out to him as well uh Nathan Kelly still coming on strong in the pfl um like and then like I think this year we saw more Pro debuts on the AA scene than we've seen in a very long time and there were some great uh great fights so shout out to the likes of your cage conflict chaos uh Kuma um elite elite like all all all the guys who are PR as well all the guys were putting on shows um apologies if I miss anyone who put on a pro fight this year but like unbelievable stuff um overall as a whole so like I think RM May is really surely and TR uh truly tring at the moment so long may that last and I think we're in for an exciting 2025 but uh I suppose to get to fights I'm looking forward to in 2025 happening um I think tore is going to move up the lightweight I'd love to see him fight makev I think that's going to be an Absol banger but obviously maev has to get through serukan first um I think Hamza either fighting Adisa or draus dup C I think that's gonna be uh a massive scrap I think I would sort of like to see Pereira versus Hill to just because I feel like that like Jamal Hill won't let that go and so that's definitely going to be interesting H Ian Gary versus another top welway can't wait to see that but then again I'd also love to see the inactivity end of the Irish UFC fighters like I'd love to see kayin arran get a fight booked love see Reese mck get a fight booked i' love see keth for get a fight booked and uh sooner rather than later they're ones that I'm definitely looking at to happen and then obviously uh Jones aspal is obviously gonna be one of the biggest ones of the year as well so I'm looking forward to I also think Dustin porier is probably going to retire next year so it be interesting to see who his swan song is against so let's just call it now right three fights that have to happen in 2025 R uh Tor Mev Jones Asal and for some reason I just want to see Hamza versus Israel adanna I think that's that's something I want to see like would I prefer P this to make my uh have the champion yeah interesting but also lary versus Leon Edwards okay would you rather see ingar against Leon Edwards or kby hovington i h would rather see him against Leon Edwards I think we' better fight still otherwise like I you know I feel like H's at a stage there where he can't back up his trash talk so I don't think it's as interesting it's just that maybe maybe Usman versus y Gary would be a good point as well yeah but you know what that then I'll bring it back to what you said I think Leon Edwards is the fight because he's not going to try and wrestle in um Ross 2025 what do you want to see different from the UFC itself um look they don't actually necessarily have to come back to Dublin because I feel like that's probably an unrealistic ass this stage but I would love if they actually just did more European shows um whether they come to Scotland whether they go to Sweden whether they go to you know I'm bit like how can they not do a Big Show in Prague the way Osan can do it and just put your P Hask in the main event you I mean like when he won the belt and then went back to the Czech Republic like there was thousands of people in the street to see him I think just a few more European shows be great because there's a better chance then of the European Fighters getting a better shine and also them signing more European Fighters if they're doing fights in Europe so I'd like to see them strengthen their base in Europe from selfish point of view yeah because I think at the moment don't they only have um London and and we have France booked again yeah well that's that's all they tend to be doing at the moment like London and then Paris yeah so like that's to me that's not enough yeah you also I'd like to see them sort of do events did Manchester as well actually in the last 12 months yeah true no but I'd like to see them sort of promote events a bit differently I feel like it's you're always sort of getting the same thing all the time better rinse and repeat like yeah like I'm not a massive fan of the way even the postf interviews are always just everyone's sort of getting the same content and it's it a lot of it just seems the same now look if you go to a m and start restaurant and you're always getting the like the best tasty food are you really going to complain like but it's just it it sometimes it needs a bit of different flavor the way they had the uh UC noce what was that called again the sphere the sphere the sphere yeah like that that that you sort of felt like it was different in a way you know yeah but I think they I think there's a few things that they could Rob like I think they should when they have a totle fight for pay-per-view they should do like the sort of the gloves are off scenario where the two of them go into a room with whoever and maybe it should be bisbing who does it because I think like in the noce way possible I feel like John anex was a bit too respectful as suppos so I feel like bisbing will like or Cormier even will like stir a little bit more um so like I think they know the questions that like they don't want to be asked so they can ask them effectively so uh like I think things like that could be really really cool and like Point not potentially do for all the fights like you have the fighters there like even when it's like like for all the main events as in like throughout the year why not you know what I mean so I I definitely be here for that um and I think maybe I'd like to see something slightly change maybe with Dan Kinder series I feel like it's not as I know it's not as exciting as as a once was cuz I feel like it's so regular if that makes sense as in like I'm not saying I'm not asking for less of it I'm just asking for maybe more more Regional maybe uh would be cool if he did like a Dan White's Contender Series in Asia and he did one in Europe and you know something along those lines uh I think actually that's something I'd love to see if he did like a Dan White's Contender series like the week of you know UFC London and did one in the in the UK and had some of the top UK guys uh IR guys European guys all fly in and fight each other there you know yeah no I got you it that I don't know if that sounds like we're just complaining to complain no I don't think we're complaining I think we're like What would get our juices FL what would ex us about if they did something different you me yeah yeah I'd agree like I mean even the reals that they put out are almost sort of the same format as well just sort of sort of like spice it up I mean they're very creative team so you you want to see them push their bound push boundaries yeah absolutely yeah like I mean sometimes you feel like they're just doing it like on a on a out in the sun with the with the like in the pool with sipping on a pina colada you know you like to see sweat a bit getting that reel going you know but uh look like this year was great like some of the fights are absolutely amazing as we said I think that uc300 Max holay moment is the one that really lives in people's heads I think that's like Muhammad Ali at moment isn't it yeah well like it was just C like just [ __ ] like that just blows your mind and it makes you be like wow like I'm invested even more give me more of that and then it's like next week we're in the Apex and you're like God damn it Neil Magny headline no offense Neil magne but like you know what I mean um there was a few voice that were announced we shared them on the page last week the likes of trick stup is f Sean Strickland um W Zang is fight Tatiana Suarez and then armar rukin is fighting Islam makev and then morab D Philly is fighting nurov I I don't want to get the Umar yeah and then it was also announced that Adis is back fighting in Abu Dhabi he's taking on imov sa Saudi Arabia sorry I get that mixed up as well man John John Mitchell be Char bullet is fighting MVP that was the order man that's why you were important on this show I couldn't do it without you man so um but that's all the UFC events for the year at the UC is back in January the 11th Mackenzie Duran is taking on Amanda rebas with a funny laugh two two women that uh a lot of fans are big fans of um then uh the week after January 19th UFC 311 is gone down so it's like straight back into the fireos um another thing before we go before we go into just the the other stuff for the week myself and Ross we were doing the energized M MMA Awards this week we were just do Ross was just doing up the artwork I was saying no that's not good enough we've had Arguments for the last couple of weeks for the people tuning in but they're coming this week Ross what do you have a day you want to sort of start them or do you want to say a few things about them they probably kick off as i' imagine some St this week I'd say B yeah yeah so I'm just thinking in terms of categories we'll have male Pro of the Year female Pro of the year will have have Pro newcomer of the year so anyone who made their Pro debut in 2024 will be eligible for that H we'll have Prospect of the Year who's like maybe not in the like Pro of the year but like sort of younger in their career but they didn't like turn pro this year either um we will also have male amateur of the Year female amateur of the Year gym of the year and I think fight organization of the year maybe one or two more I'm not too sure if I forgot Ander Jo presenter of the year and Jo end of the year that would be bu bar by landside oh my God man I'm going to rig that PO last time we did that bar I like DM people like please V for me yeah I was setting up fake accounts yeah and uh yeah because it's actually Christmas next week so I think like you I mean it's things are it's uh things are hotting up in the energized things are hotting up but like this is the annual eniz MMA Awards I think this is maybe our fourth year doing it yeah I'm trying to think like last year I think like Nathan Kelly won uh Pro male of the year I think won female the not it I think Dan won it oh sorry maybe Sean won the year before we I think it's only because Nathan's won the last two years in a row the mens H so that may Lo eer uh to remember that uh and I thing in mind when these awards are going out right we don't decide who wins the people decide who wins we just pick the nominees I've only got one vote Ross has only got one vote and then all my I know we were saying Le Fighting Championship you have to tune into it but usk's fighting Fury for the second time um shout out to Big Tom o Cy as well Thomas Cy won on Sunday yeah he did and he called it Johnny Fisher I thought big BOS versus big Tomo no Cy no party no bosy I think that's a brilliant call it that's a fight that I think get a lot of o on both of them so like yeah that's a man who's doing his career right Thomas karthy what self belief that man has big fan yeah but Ross get into it us P Fury what you make of the first fight and what are you expecting this weekend Ross look I I I think we saw that uh I I think maybe part of the question going into was could USAC hurt Fury and obviously he quote and he did hurt him in the first fight uh obviously Fury's like bounce back ability to like be hurt and rock them one round then come back the next round look great is like undoable uh obviously we saw him against Deontay Wilder and like he set up like The Undertaker uh it was very very impressive uh look I think Fury probably will have a better better better idea of what to expect from music and I would say he's probably have going to have a different game plan coming into the fight I think he's going probably use the size and be the bigger man against them and he's going to probably realize that there was a speed difference there there was a footwork H difference there and he probably you know I suppose Fury was able to usk all his other opponents and now Fury got usk's by usyk if that makes sense like he was used to be the more nimble fighter he was used to being the man who could you know Bob and weave and you know you know be the faster fighter be the lighter on the Fe fighter and for the first time in his heavyweight career he's now fighting someone who is more Nimble than him and is faster than him so it's going to be interesting to see does Fury have it in him to uh rechange the game plan um box like the bigger man yeah Fury's you usually the only showman on stage as well so it's going to be interesting I I I think USI is the best people at selling a fight who's crap at selling a fight of all time like there's just something so intriguing and Dearing about him despite the fact that he actually says nothing yeah I am feel I am very feel that is uh that's definely where is this here we go I'm pH I'm very pH um oh I'm going to just go for fury on this one just because last time I felt like he was he was sort of like he was going ahead and then I think he just put sort of put the brakes on and then usk just came out at the end and won
