[Music] en the IR welcome to the show the GTA selector J Harris J how we doing bud what's a correct all good here welcome to the show man that's the story good to be back yeah well the people are getting a very great show today we just have Max L on and now we have jar Harris on and jar Harris is competing again cage Warriors 170 in on April 6th jar are you buzzing or what ah [ __ ] ready just ready to rock now [ __ ] um yeah obviously just getting to go fighting doublin again on especially on the biggest show on the like biggest show in Europe so just looking to go out and show Cas me skills here just just exciting like you know yeah no we're obviously AB buz but we have to bring it back to cage Warriors 161 where your major cage Warriors debut and like you blew the roof off the place uh you're one of the most trending people on the night like what what was that what was that like when you made your debut in the yellow gloves ah serious obviously it's just something you're always looking forward to especially being a kid like when I four start competing that's s of what like everybody was on know what I mean that's like other than the UFC they were probably the the fights you were watching and stuff um and then finally getting the go there myself and then obviously i' had to be training them right now and stuff and then training with the likes and red and all the other two fight on the cards and then going to get getting to compete on the same stage there on and obviously it's the the biggest stage in Europe so it just it just goes to show where I'm at you know yeah you think you think J made the right move going to team rhyo yeah one of the best gyms in the country now doubt about it uh obviously uh especially especially uh in that flyweight division you have a champ champ status near series cage so it doesn't get much better than that uh but seriously though J at uh K War D last time out you threw the kitchen sink at ran here you're H to blow up his head off his shoulders and it was not moving at one stage I heard him a spin and elbow and he just nodded at me I goes what's the story with the T800 here I'm going have to [ __ ] have to tr a little bit more in the kitchen sing for I know he was a great competitor and it was a cracking fight he was in there till the end so H yeah [ __ ] soundl as well talking to him after the fight I actually met him over at apfc then the week after and and we were having a little chat at them fight as well so [ __ ] yeah no really good seems like a good guy concrete block of a head on him but uh my hands are like playing concrete anyway and I swear to God they were double the size peeling the gloves off them just from hopping them off his head now what I me I thought me knuckles were shattered but you do well breaking days Bad Boys a few knees up the pipe and all and he was eating them no messing knees head kicks elbows Knuckles he was taking the taking the whole go one thing you did get on B on I was gonna say one thing you did get to show was like Your Arsenal tricks and like all the combinations and all the shots that you do have in the tank is that what we're going to expect come April 6th yeah expect it cuz like that I say that that weapon whale is constantly evolving I'm constantly adding little bits onto it so I'm just the more comfortable I get in there the more is are going to say and hopefully we start to get them finishers coming on cuz that's what I'm well capable of don't yeah Jerry you went into that fight just on a one fight contract and then after obviously things went extremely well like how many more fights are you going to be f are you going to be fighting with cage Wares on the current so I have a four cont contract with them and hopefully I get the 4 four times this year that's what I'm looking at I want to stay busy obviously it's a little bit late in the year to start I would have rathered fighting in March but uh the doubling card was April so just have to probably squeeze in a short notice for if someone pulls out we have no problem stepping in and blowing someone's head off so and then we'll get two more in before the end of the year then yeah how much notice do you think the the the GTA Army will need an advance to be honest I'm ready to go on two weeks now was for anybody know what I mean I'm staying sharp this year I'm straight after this fight um fights on the sixth I'm flying out to Thailand on the eth just to get out there rest for two or three days and then going into a fight camp with um one of the crow that sponsor me a low a l fight where you'll always see them split shorts on me know what I mean we have a few their tops yeah the top of the range I just got a packet sent out of them today so there be a few snaps and stuff going up with then people get to see the or um yeah I'm going out to Toyland today B of training I'll be back on the 27th then m g for S day nights training so and be back on the 27th then and ready to rock with Whoever Whenever yeah Molly runs a type ship up there b doesn't she uh she definitely does H jar another thing that I've been enjoying seeing what you've been putting up is Tech on Instagram um where where did the idea come from posting these and are you enjoying making the content yeah to be honest I'm I'm coaching probably since I'm 15 like helping with kids and teens and playing um obviously just me own friends like holding pads and stuff at then then obviously over the year I have a high caliber and anybody who's trained with me now like like I always have answers for problems and I love problem solving and stuff and I I know I teach really well so I just wanted to start put like cuz part of like part of the job now is it it is getting out content now what I me and I'm not really one of those bloggers like cutting up videos and myself like walking into the gym now it's something I I do need to get better but stuff I'm really comfortable with and I know I have a [ __ ] dense knowledge in like stuff I put up nobody's going to be like that show everybody's going to turn around and say oh that's the blading business and that's all I'm trying today just trying to get cont out on stuff that I'm professional in because that's what I've been doing for the last 15 years I've been critiquing and building up a skill set that's undeniably one of the best you know what I mean so just trying to get content out there as well not trying to go into too much detail on things just stuff that people who try train can try out and or people might see and say you want to be able to do that and hopefully they pop up to a gym wherever they are or even better up the team no I've been enjoying it I'm just hoping Ross makes a came on one of these videos no I'll leave it with poor Curtis getting getting a hiding each time out but uh no in Fair In fairness uh I know from being in the gym I've seen uh people are coming up to team Roo and they're like the first thing to talk about is oh I know J so like it's definitely had a knock on effect if you of you joining the lot people have come you definitely have a lot of people around your own area looking up your jar so it is great to see and hopefully that will turn into ticket sales on the night come cage Warriors 170 well you seen it the last time we had played mountains of people there they already to played and set that place on fire so hopefully the same thing again now um the usual always played and super support Bal Mo and then all all the areas around us so it's [ __ ] we'll see what happens now the whole place was full of B GTA select that t- shorts everywhere left right and Center couldn't look left or right without saying one even Ryan hu had one on oh yeah I say and uh tell us this uh Gregory waman uh what do you know about him um he looks like a all the lad like 46 he's an experienced jiu-ju fighter but and he's a black belt has a couple of medals on the European s but that's not going to save you know what I mean I'm going to fight starts on the feet and I'm looking out to come out and blow his blade and head off his shoulder so he be diving my legs all he wants he's going to get H he'll probably panic and I'll submit him as well he finish him anywhere um obviously have to you respect you respect the level he up but this is MMA it's not Jiu-Jitsu you haven't got a jacket to hold on to it's going to be wet it's going to be slippy and he's going to be getting Knuckles put in the back of his head so yeah to be now holding on to me this is why I love having J on the show man just like parttime comedian part time well fulltime fighter parttime comedian in Fair is the one liners it's not just for the camera like these these are these are 247 these these lines that come out of them the mans the mans are walking uh walking um entertainment machine is but uh jar tell us this is that something that you changed the game plan for at all that like you know you're focus on a bit more you to with this camp or you just doing you no we focus on MMA like obviously do me Jiu-Jitsu sessions I do me like wrestling sessions on me striking sessions but the focus is always MMA um yeah always MMA I just like obviously there's certain things we walk on like avoiding little things he's good at like I've watched watched a couple of bits from his fight so um now where to avoid obviously like they Jiu-Jitsu Lads they love to chase the back like I fought like here on my Holland as well the lads up FAO as Specialists on the back end I've gone up and trained with them I was only up sparing with them yesterday so um like I have plenty of people to be attacking me next down me and obviously in me own gym [ __ ] gym full of killers so and a really high Jiu-Jitsu level like it is in mainly a Jiu-Jitsu Academy and then so the MMA team as well or uh yeah like I don't really need to change anything around I have Elite level people in Jiu-Jitsu around me and then I have Elite level MMA fighters and that's what matters absolutely there absolutely and look obviously obviously we expect you to get the hand raised um come oh it will be don't worry about that no mess about it but uh obviously the division you know hack is the champion there's I think Lonnie Kavin is fighting I think in what looks like a number one Contender fight against Silva where yeah that looks like that looks like a smashing fight I'd love to see the winner of that yeah yeah I re I could play either of them Lads for the title come towards the end of the year yeah i' be happy to take either of them fights like they be they be to Smashing fights is is that the way you look at jar come we'll say December 31st um you'll either be booked to fight for the title or you'll have that belt around your waist million percent to be honest I see um I actually see a man long having a win in that F I think he's just a little bit more well rounded then I'm going to bed him blow anybody out of water he put in front of me this year so hopefully probably me and him December 24st for the title whereever they want that' be a [ __ ] Smasher i' love that so there'll be an open top bus tour on January the 1 with jar Harris with the gold B wrapped around his waist that'll be some crack Lads ah that'll be the right champ yeah absolutely well well look like you know I mean I suppose The champ is still hack at the moment so one one the are going to have to race to get him him first and but yeah give me him tomorrow I don't give a vol have well look if if your opponent falls out you know Dublin still needs a main event so uh you know well it would be nice to have a world title fight as the main event imagine that yeah second Point cage war that play that's unheard of well put it this way you'd tell it wouldn't you you know that you know that if there's one thing if there's one thing I can do with promote and if there's a second thing we can do with sell tickets absolutely they come hand in hand I think Jack yeah to right yeah the fighting just part time for me know what I mean yeah there definitely career in comedy for his as well but for people tuning in now you have to make sure to check out Jared Harris's fight a cage Wars 170 make sure to get tickets for it as well but if you aren't actually able to make the event it will be live on UC F pass like this event is not one to be missed last time I cage Warriors 161 unbelievable show cage Warriors 170 they they it's a it won't be easy to be cage Warriors 161 but I believe with the we will be coming finish so that'll be all over the shop no I'm buzzing for it yeah what's called that J tell us this what did you make of the rs's venue I really liked it some some people weren't as mad it but I thought it was great venue do you know what I thought was the bleding business but I thought like a few people had said to me about the SE and like because of was below the cage it was like they were looking up into it and it was hard to see obviously with the corner posts and stuff but they're had to adding in the third seat now so there's a lot more seats and they're going to be above the cage so yeah I'd say anybody who had any problems were the last time it'll be completely different this time um so wait till they fight in the Indigo at the out2 have you ever been there no haven't been there yet no you're like it's it's like a agage is like a stage that Mak sense I'm looking to Builder up and bring it back to the tree and never mind the blade in the go know what I mean absolutely and we bed we'll sell out this one we'll sell out the next one and then hopefully the thir card and Dublin we probably going back to the tree Arena when we build up the crowd yeah well like I I think that's that's always the dream you know what I mean to be to be in the biggest stage possible and putting on your scales in front of the most people possibly you know I mean even better the main event yeah absolutely well well look like you know we need M eventors and uh jar Harris he could definitely talk himself into that spot yeah Jared is there anything you want to say to the people tuning in now that cannot wait to see you perform on April 6th yeah just make sure he's a chilling in get your tickets if you haven't got if you can't get to the fo get her on UFC fo pass as usual
