are you intoxicated or something introduce the guest man today we are bringing you the hottest cage Warrior signing this year it's the one and only undefeated Maximus Max R Max promotion IND so Chad on S far I'm super happy to sign the cage Warriors you know I just I said the little Spiel there in Irish one of the biggest promotions in Europe and I am more than happy to put the yellow gloves on and make my debut early next year so uh at this new a class 135 I'm really H looking forward to it so let's do it yeah I think we we'll we'll touch on that first obviously H put on those yellow gloves uh who reached out to your your Camp from cage Warriors and how excited were you to find out that that deal was going to happen so um I put up an Instagram post you know um after the news of K's Legacy unfortunately having to stop their shows um I was looking for an alternative route you know and um I just thought for myself the best route for me would be the uh the cage Warriors route you know to get that development early in me career I think it' be I I I I just think it's it's super important to get that you know to get that that um Dam hard for to get Battle tested early on you know and um I just think cage Warriors is just the perfect promotion the perfect platform for me for myself you know to build my brand and then to obviously cement myself under great top level competition you know so I made the post on Instagram Ian Dean H sent me a message he said get your people onto me of course we sent them on Russ's number but I I got I got H my manager to uh get on to him and we got the contract Inked Up and and here we are you know so happy you yeah ABS absolutely top man and does it feel good to have H yourself and Conor McCarthy obviously go training partner yours both under that yellow glove Banner does it feel like a new era of talent is coming in yet again for the yellow gloves of course of course you know um I think I think as I said in my introduction video I think this is this is definitely a h there's obviously a few Lads that are under the cage Warriors Banner you know that are super high level with other gyms and stuff like that but I feel like it's a it's a new era for H you know the let's say the early Pros you know the people who have who have just kind of made their Pro debuts coming in and are looking to establish themselves you know under the best competition there is to offer you know so um I definitely do think that um I I I I just think that you know there's me and Connor but I think there'd be plenty of more to follow you know so it's great to be you know one of the first two to get our our feet in the door and let's let's see where it uh where it goes from there you know and then obviously Max the other thing is H you've moved down to the bway division and with that we see you've uh installed a new sauna to the house so uh tell us this uh what what was the reason you thought Bantam weights for you and do you see yourself being able to stay there for a long period of time I definitely think I be able to maintain banon we for this 5 fo DE after signing 100% um I hear people you know when they're cutting we you know the kind of the struggle to it and I I never I never have had that struggle I fought at about five different we classes I together throughout amateur and pro you know and um you know I think that at this level of competition you need to give yourself absolutely every Advantage possible you know and uh that's what I'm doing I'm only doing what everyone else is you know so I'm cutting I'm I'm not cutting believe it or not I wouldn't be cutting a crazy amount of weight you know to to to get down there but I'm looking forward to seeing what performances will be like I'm doing test cuts at the moment now to get down to see how the performances is a few a few people get brought in for spars you know after I get down to 135 and I'm looking for I'm looking forward to it you know I just think it's h super exciting a top level promotion a new way class you know the score is the limit yeah Max was that important you were going to f a bantam way or did it did it matter with cage Warriors it didn't you know um we initially approached H Ian by saying listen we're looking at doing a test cut to 135 and having a a fight outside of cage Warriors at 135 before getting in there that was the initial plan but Ian said they'd be able to uh facilitate that you know because at at the time I was still quite unsure if I could make the way or not you know now I'm quite certain that that I 100% can so it was nice to have that bit of H that bit of you know flexibility with them and as I said Ian was very very accommodating saying that H you know we can we can provide that platform for you you know to make that that H debut with bant might so for me it was simply an no-brainer to uh take him up on that deal so it was h no it was who's going to oversee that way cut down B way the king the best kep Secret in Irish MMA May Dr John Connor the legend himself I think I've done so far with him now I think this will be I'll tell you now eight n this is Been Me 11th me 11th guided way cut with him you know so 11 way Cuts I would rather lose a fight than Miss weight Lads that's that's the god onest truit i' rather lose a fight than Miss weight and I'll never miss weight with this fell in me corner you know so uh performances are always up to par everything's structured everything is done correct and I think that is the most important we are no longer amateur Lads we are professional so we H carry on in that way you know so yeah fair fair play uh actually met John Connor uh he he he helped Thomas Cy make his weight C there uh last Friday no bother made it to heavyweight yeah yeah Thomas does a cut we th does aut we but uh no John Conor uh one of the best in the business and I I said it to him I go jeez he taking over the boxing game as well because he's already started the MMA take over so uh that that crowd he has down the isi H he he runs a tight chip there so fair place he's a he's a pjj brown belt himself so he knows the game he does he batters me every Saturday morning Lads before strong man before the car park you know I'm so he's a great he's a great asset to himself Lads honestly um I I just I don't think he gets half the credit that he that he deserves but Lads he is honestly world class world class and he'll be he'll be with me right up until I get towards the UFC toil you know so so I'm I'm super super fortunate to have him in me uh me corner you know yourself versus John should be the first fighting cage Wars speaking of the B some amount of to get down to 125 anyway Ross speaking of the bantamweight division like what do you sort of make of the cage Wars bantamweight division at the moment Ross Oh Me Oh sorry I thought it's rare you ask me a question H I think the Bantam white division like look look obviously there's plenty of talent in there uh there's plenty of bantamweights that we have available and like obviously there's been people who fought a bantamweight previously who've G on to through great things like uh kin lran uh but look I I think Max you're well suited to go in there and beat anyone uh not only like in the future but today I think you have the talent you have the skill set to do it and the other thing about H Max Al is the evolvement of the game that we see as well so like we we see you come on Leaps and Bounds each time like the way you do your cross training in nce in Charlestown with DCA with northo jj2 like there there isn't there isn't a gym that Max L probably hasn't crossed in Ireland it's incredible to see so like I I just think you're going to feel right at home in there I think you look great with the yellow gloves on I can't wait to see I think it's going to be absolutely incredible and I think you're exactly where you need to be on the trajectory to the UFC and I think that bantamweight division isn't ready for Max L I think I can hear John cry it beside you yeah wh the tears from his way well look I call it I call a spade a spade you know what I mean like obviously Li G on next gen he's been around cage Warriors for a long time he's went and got the belt but look I don't think uh style wise like that's a great match up for him com against you I actually think uh quadrian if that's how you say his name who he's fighting next who just won the pr fighter I actually think he he is actually probably the toughest fight in the division at the moment if I'm being honest that's and i' I'd agree with that you know and it's like before I even signed this contract Lads I I I train a lot but what I do a lot more is I have my eyes on absolutely everyone there's not one person in that division that I don't have my eye on you know what I mean and I hope that that I hope that they're doing the same for myself you know because I know for the fact that like I've had I've had high level fights in me amateur career maybe not so much me pro career but I know that I I know that once I go under M lion and I I get put against that type of opposition I'm going to shine I'm going to stand out and I'm going to stand out more than all these other Lads you know so that that's that's I think that's the most important thing you know when my backs against the wall and I'm against that high level opposition I'm in them fights that this will be tough for Max you know this will be a tough match that's when I at me best that's when I do that's when I come out with My best performances you know so that's something really looking forward to you know um I'm obviously really looking forward to getting in there getting the first one out of the way but then as you said lad showing that evolvement showing the Striking the grappling showing everything that's that's that's what I want to show I want to show that when I when when when people when people are like what's a true mix martial artist that they showed him a video one of my FS you know what I mean that's that is that is what I'm looking for you know so I'm really H really looking forward to it so and Max when can the people at home expect to see you wear the yellow gloves so at the moment I'm doing a test to 125 which I imagine will be done I'd say mid November and then what the plan is I'm going over the bank H for three months to get a good solid three months training in and I'd imagine as soon as I'm back start of April mid April something will be announced or maybe even before then you know so maybe there might be a home coming maybe not I don't know lad so whatever whatever whatever H whatever whatever comes you know I'll I'll be there I'll be ready you know so that's that's the most important thing well obviously we saw uh James Sheen uh is injured and he he was out with his fight in I think was scheduled for November so uh he's obviously got to come back and obviously being the cage is well towe Champion um having him fight in Dublin would be nice uh with the belt so uh I'd be all forward if uh if that that was the headliner and we had got Max Al on the card and just to to on your your uh sort of comments earlier B just on the division like like you know if you go through like the list of names in the division like you know L versus LOF L versus MOA La L versus ree mun like these are all fights that like get fans on the edge of seats these are all the ones that people want to see uh and I'm sure these are the ones that Max Al gets up out of the bed in the morning for like get into the sa for the bo but like that's the thing like boys they are my competitors now you know what I mean and and it's and and and and that's it you know what I mean I'm I'm I'm I'm I'm looking at them and you know they might know who I am now but I promise you until three F they will you know and and and that's the thing it's like anywhere to I go can make a serious serious impact on and and and that's that's why I'm very fortunate to be signed under this cage warriors uh promotion you know so that that's that's the thing they're Pro H providing a platform for me provide me with the competition that I need to get to the top you know so that's the thing I'm I'm most fortunate for and uh I'm really looking forward to not looking forward to the saas now but you know yourself looking forward to fting we'll do a podcast we'll do a podcast in the SAA with you see the thing is from from the outside looking in like the way so many photos from cage Warriors are now going onto the contender series or being assigned straightway to the UFC it need like cage Warriors needed fresh new faces coming in and the way that they just just signed Conor a couple of weeks ago who was meant to fight but they couldn't get him an opponent and now signing you as well I know there's an abundance Irish talent but it just needed that more freshness and I feel like they're doing that now and even the announcement of Adam Cen he's fighting um her her yeah Adam C fighting herela like I mean there there's a massive fight I feel like it like it's coming up again and like like I can't wait to see obviously you yourself and Connor two great signings but like I can't wait to see more because there's more and more talent coming through isn't there Max 100% And and it's like as I said it's like me and Conor have a foot in the door now but there's going to be plenty of killers following us you know so really I would say it's like it's it's starting up again it merely has started you know because I I've said I've said it before there's so much high level compet H there's so many high level competitors in this country you know like at amateur it's I think the levels through through the roof you know so it's give us one name there Max to people should definitely watch out for next I have to I'm G to have to go Alex KET I have to go with him you know kid a killer he's a killer and he he he's he's five and out five finishes an average fight time of 47 seconds and he's that good that he has a taxi waiting outside from two minutes after three fights so straight that's it straight to Mo on but no seriously I I could name I could name loads off the name loads off the top of me head you know um James slavin's a good one he got a great win off the uh H number one UK in Ireland on topology um that was a great win Daman McAn also had a great win F farz had a great fight with alas Oliver you have H Ben maton as well he he's another another young man that you know he's had I think he's had three amateur fights so far taking on h k mcarton his I think it was a second or his thir Dage fight you know a big step up for himself and I showed I I thought he really showed his level in that fight you know Jordan Scully as well um he's another he's another great training partner in M you know so like you look you look at that that row of names and I really do think that these are names that that could be on that cage Warriors Banner if not UFC in in in a few years time and a lot sooner than you think like it's like real realistically what what I'm looking at now is it's like UFC is achievable in in in two three years and and that's if you were to say to me maybe two three years ago i''d be like oh like it seemed like a lifetime away but really I'm I'm I'm there I I I just need to go in and do what I do and perform and and show My Level against this this new you know wave of competition that would be facing and I really do I really I don't I don't doubt myself at all to do it you know so um I think the biggest thing for me now is just to get in there and and keep that ball rolling as soon as I do that you know it's and we're going to follow your trajectory live in UC fo pass Max Max L man of the people there shouting out all the the Future Stars that's what we want to see that's what we want to see that's like it's it's it's you know H and and and CAD said this to me a while ago and I feel like I've always done it but no matter who they are you no matter you might have problems with them you might have problem you back your own always you know what I mean was Irish there's not too many of us there's five six million of us you know but we we we we we back around you know what I mean so no matter who no matter who is going out and fighting in any sort of competition I'd always I always want to see an Irish man win AB Brad you know I always want to see an Irish man win so that's that's the biggest thing we we back around Lads you know yeah how how was how was Ryan by the way when you met him Lads he's in absolutely great spirits you know he's H still slacking the ballocks me like he always has been you know but um I'm doing I'm doing a few um seminars for himself you know I have H I have a date for martial arts I have a date for uh era grapple K on dav's JY and I'm just discussing a date now with n Jitsu and DCA as well and I'll have a few more gyms to follow after that but I'm going to be getting the DAT together for them making a post and stuff like that you know H to try get bit more money to get it FR him you know Ryan when I was a kid gave me gave me like a an abundance o o of knowledge you know H very very very uh knowledgeable person you know who was who was who was been through the game himself and for me as a young kid always kind of always kind of looked out for me you know and uh I won't forget that you know so um they all they want no can't to give Ry give Ryan a hand you know but uh I'm very very fortunate to have him there as as as a friend of mine you know so yeah shout out Kur what an absolute of a man ma baby what an animal Max one last thing that I really want to touch on is obviously year you're signed up to uh Bantam white division but if the status for champ champing cage Wares came around is that something you jump at with with both hands or or with the double leg 100% 100% not not not a doubt me mind the lad The Lads actually on uh on the L triangle they gave me a question there yesterday and like what would you rather win the belt or get a call up for contender series or whatever and I was like I kind I didn't really have an answer for them you know we kind of said maybe in two years time I'll have this dilemma myself but I think you have to assess the level you know and honestly I think of always to win that Bantam white belt and that F white belt was there you know it be know brain or LS you know what I mean for myself to to go up and and do that you know but if the UFC came knocking you know I think I think a lot a lot of it has to do with um timeing as well but listen if you into cage Warriors belt you are undeniable aren't you you know so obviously I love to do that you know absolutely timeing is everything and that's that's uh something that you know you have to take into account for your career uh one last thing on the cage Warriors thing is uh obviously you've SE there inan is known for being a brilliant Matchmaker H he's also guided so many brilliant careers uh through how happy are you now that like you're next to guaranteed get fights because that's always been a struggle for you to get people to actually sign under that line and say yes I will fight Max Val on X date yeah no lad it's it's I'm very fortunate to be to be on one of the best matchmakers in the world you know what I mean you see the Ft puts together and it's what the people want to see and that's what we are in Lads the entertainment business and I am here to entertain you know what I mean you say that again so it's in the name Maximus are you not entertained ma that's it boys that's it yeah now that's energ bu yeah that's energizing but no seriously though um as you said it has been a struggle you know in my first few fights um but I feel like now that I am in a in a serious Pair of Hands you know so yeah I I'm I'm I'm I'm ready you know what I mean I'm ready for the step up and I'm I'm I'm H looking forward to it you know so no wasn't for you absolutely and look does want to say before we wrap things up yeah stay energized I love it I love shout out to Deo abely he's he's an iconic promoter like no one promotes their shows harder than he does you know what I mean I remember being up at a cage conflict and he was flying the cars of a cage conflict with the cage Legacy show you know what I mean like by hooker crook that fell gets the job done one way or the other and uh look I I hope he can find some finan backers to help and put on the shows CU there ain't no party like a cage Legacy party 100% realistically at the moment as well we've that Elite crap or Elite Fighting Championships down the C but all the promotions now are up north you know that's where we're at at the moment Premier amateur Wars it's going to struggle like it's G to struggle so we need more shows but unfortunately with deos um it's it's it's going to it's going to be uh it's going to be lean lean times for the amateurs for the next world but fingers crossed they get something up and running you know yeah of course at the end day that's also how he puts food in his table as well so like obviously you want someone like that to yeah yeah come back and and uh do well because uh he puts his heart and soul into it he really does you can't you can say what you like about him but you can't say he doesn't put his heart and soul into it he's he's a one he's a legend a legend gave me gave me a gave me a platform to Showcase me skills for many years you know had me I remember he had a grappling show with him I know this is a bit off topic but I had a grappling match on one of his shows back in 2018 so big names on that card you know I Gary fought H Steven Castello like load loads loads loads of big names on that card you know and uh the fell me grapple pulled out he shs his blade and younger brother in at me you know I mean yeah like just always always always had a replacement you know what I mean so like he he is some promoter and wish nothing but the best you know well maybe maybe you could look at the like a cage Legacy grappling show or something like that to come back something like that something something where the obviously you don't have the medical expense etc etc on on that side and see where you 100% no one no one promotes harder I'd love to see it h and I hope you're keeping well at EO as well if you see this because uh we haven't actually heard too much from you since that's gone down so I just want to we'll check in I'll actually send them message after this just to make sure I'll his yeah some upcoming Irish M events as well by the way k conflict and Clan Wars both going down November 2nd we spoke about this like it would have been ideal if they weren't on the same day November 17 cage gladiators and November 23rd chaos fighting championships as mentioned December 1st Evolution FC going down tmore and December 8th your Fighting Championships you I'm looking forward to that M cage conflict we cage conflict I'm really looking forward to uh the pro debuts of Mario and Cory really looking forward to that that's that's a that's a great fight that's a great fight I'm really looking forward to that one and then um shandel lame always put on bangers and shows yeah so they always put on great matches and is Iconic that's it it is it is it's it's a great spot for it's like a night club in a rail isn't it yeah there's only there's only ever been two there's only been ever two sellouts though Max than one person yeah exactly and also like not people Direct from their gym as well so uh that's that's cool to see that's why people love Max s he's a man of the people yeah and congratulations cage worries you got a great sign in there and as well as Conor McCarthy as well yeah um Ross over the weekend the UFC was back it was in Paris France in the main event moano beat Beno stin and you predicted this thing yeah I just thought I feel like moano is on fire at the moment and I just think his wrest and jiu-jitsu to and a strike and is just like perfectly becoming very well-rounded and also like he's a character that the fans can get behind like he's got it all like he for someone who where English isn't their first language like he's got it on the mic you know he's got it he's got it in the cage he's in exitting fights and he has the promo skills to get the job done and I think he's going to be Main Event money moano going forward and I know we we uh put out a poll saying you know who's going to fight next Patty Pim or Dan hook made my life easier because uh if you follow the show on Instagram you'll know that we always put out the poll after the main event each UFC uh and he gave us the two options but uh I actually think what I want to see is Conor McGregor's return in the main event Conor McGregor versus Dan hooker and the co-main event five rounds hanat muyano versus Patty Pima and the winners of those two fights fight each other that's very interesting would you watch yes or no yeah would that would that be a pay-per-view against Don hooker yeah obviously it's Conor mcgreger okay yeah well uh speaking of Connor before we get into this weekend's UFC 37 um Connor did a did a live stream for duel bits I think it was yeah yeah but he was also like getting stuck into for Stout the smoothest creamiest Stout in the game and Mike Ty 's Kush Ross um what did you make at the live stream like I didn't get to see the full thing but I got to see some clips and I love I got to see a good few Clips it looked like a good party it looked like a good party I think you said it one stage he was like I'm in some random Gaff here to thing like it looks like he just rocked up somewhere and that's what went down uh look Connor's a wild man like you know he was obviously calling out tanler again um he he was doing a bit of shadow he was necking the can of forers still you know he was just being Conor to be honest uh look I don't think fans are going to be like oh he's coming back soon when they see him doing that but uh look leave him at it you know what I mean like he's he's he OB got paid and actually rake L to do that or either that or he has a partnership with that company so uh look we just want to see the Mac back in the cage so uh Dana if you're listen and I know you're an avid enero fan there with glasses yeah I I if you can get the Mac back in the Octagon sooner rather than later be greatly appreciated uh I think UFC 312 let's make it happen when's that February I think really yeah that that'd be very interesting man well Islan Mev announced that he's going to fight at UFC 311 in January so against who it didn't say but I'm going to assume it's going to be Arman suin what did you make of the UC Paris card before we get into 307 by the way uh it had a nice on a nice time wasn't it yeah it was on a lovely time uh the Paris fans are incredible uh so like they really at the event and then there was like some nice moments in the TR the carard like Brian battle like his his performance and then like his promo as well like two of the best promos we've seen this year between him and hanat moano H and Danny McCormack yeah and Danny McCormack uh Zam if that's how you say it h he knocked out ma Rola that was a huge knee that was absolutely incredible and uh could see Morgan charer get a win as well uh on a big stage like that so look I thought I thought it was a great card I thought I was very entertained for having no skin in the game yeah and that's what you want like when you have no skin in the game you want to be entertained exactly as Max said this is entertainment business bu um Okay Ross so you're currently a 18 correct answers to my 17 you swear this was fixed but uh this weekend I I thought I thought it was up on 19 but should maybe we'll do a recount no we'll have to break give that the V there but um this weekend UFC 307 Alex perir has taking on kle round Tre for the Loy heavyweight totle first of all what do you make of this fo and second of all who you picking the win this fight put I thought it was strange that ano didn't get the title shot but uh St he this absolutely banger but uh you can't pick against the aura of Alex Pereira that he say just like why do you think they made this fight over the an fight though it could have just been a time thing I think an was booked to fight on the Abu Dhabi card at some stage and maybe uh they didn't have a main event for this card obviously uh theyve pen versus uh julan Pena on the card as well but like that's not much of a pay-per-view draw so anytime they need someone at the 11 hour there's only one phone call they make poan we need you baby what what a what a character uh so you think the winner of this will probably fight anv I think so I think I think anv is gonna fight H racket next is he oh I like unless I have like lost plot like that was definitely announced at some stage uh I'm going to see if I can look it up here cuz uh I thought that was going to be on the Abu Dhabi card at some stage it's Abby D next isn't it three threea is anv let's see I have8 38 is toore and Maxway andv is yeah fighting racket at The Toria holay card there we go I knew I wasn't losing my marbles yeah when when the when the when the red light for recording is on you question yourself whether whether you're correct or not and those red lights they they'll turn any man crazy uh then in the com event Raquel penon The champ is taking on Julian aena uh who who do you actually see winning this fight oh I'm going for Julian aena to be honest um I think the Venezuelan Vixen is going to come back and reclaim her title I think uh I don't know in the niest way possible I think women's Bantam way at the moment is probably the weak the division has ever been um I think it could definitely do with a bit of a character and I think I know Julian Pena I feel like is a bit of a heel character I feel like she rubs people up the wrong way which is fine CA in the noest way possible also I feel like uh Rael pening rubs people up no way so I think uh Juliana pñ like obviously last time out she lost the bonway title to Amanda Nunes she beat Amanda Nunes uh before as well with a rear naker choke so anyone that can beat am Mana Nunes to me is going to be a favorite going into the fight yeah well then also Caitlyn Vieira is taking on Kayla Harrison that's in the bantamweight division as well just so say if someone got injured for that com in event yeah I think that's the number one Contender fight as well uh I think the UFC would love to get Kayla Harrison in in the main event or in a title shot against uh someone like Julian pen where they could have the back and forth or even Penny oh yeah yeah especially that one yeah but like even penny pton I'd favor K Over Pennington uh Russ also Jose Aldo is taking on Mario Bautista another good scrap as well Roman delit is taking on Kevin Holland man Kevin every week well look I'm looking forward to seeing um Jose Alo back in there because ever since he's come back he's been an absolute fire uh I wouldn't be surprised to see him pick up another toilet shop before he goes you know like that guy is someone who the fans love he's someone who can easily make an event uh at any stage and for for my point of view I think he's one of the best fighters of all time to ever do it yeah he I think last time he was out was on that pay-per-view in Brazil remember that that card wasn't great and then they were like we man I think panto headlined that against uh and then also our our mate Steven Wonderboy Thon taking on W Booky that's the main event on UFC fo pass in the PRS yeah sorry sorry just the preum card that that should be a good one as well and then former world champion Carla sparza is taking on Tisha Pennington Mel's wife in the curtain jerker geez that's mad I actually I swear to God I actually thought uh she'd retired know that so did I or maybe maybe she knows that this is a retirement fight is it potentially so yeah okay caros barza although it's sort of like sort of like the way when we had Callum on the show he was saying like he's there with his Miss's training sorry who's his girlfriend again uh tabichi tabichi yeah so when you're there living together it's like it's like I want to be cutting as well yeah maybe they should just get a SAA there you go man uh yeah is here on Wikipedia which is always a reliable source in her final before retirement as far as as due to face uh TJ Pennington on October 5th uh UFC 307 so both Penington will be in action maybe that's why maybe that's why it's so early on the night because uh obviously in the main event oh actually that makes sense yeah yeah um then so that's the UFC is there any other UFC things to come to mind before we move on to pfl Glasgow that happened over the weekend no I think uh I think that's it to be honest right I'm gonna ask you a question on pfl Glasgow what did you make of the buildup to the event and also who stole the show at the event I'm going to answer in Reverse I'm going to say Le mcgillin stole the show him and Dean Garnett that was an absolute bar burner fight for the year candidate uh also Stevie Ray have to give him his uh flowers get getting the submission win in his hometown send the crowd home Happy um so yeah that was uh they were the two big winners of the night for me H in terms of the bill up uh it sort of felt like any other pfl event I felt like the main event didn't Captivate the audience uh from a sort of outside of Scotland point of view to uh Steve Ray versus leis long like decent Main Event just not like I didn't really have a dog in that race that Mak sense or like I wasn't D to see that for two Veterans of the game uh in terms of the European series just just just to just ask you a question that par Ross um do you think that enton got to do with UC Paris being on at the same time uh potentially that you know it was overshadowed by UFC parison in certain aspects but I don't know I felt like there was nothing intriguing me overly to watch the pfl like I felt like the fight that I was most looking forward to was the one that delivered the most uh to be honest I thought uh leis mcgillin versus the dean Garnett that was the one I wanted to see um that and I think mainly because leou mcgran I think he's he's more CTV to be honest left yeah I was also looking forward to Chanel D versus Valentina Sky because uh I think I R rap both them I especially think Chanel doer has uh the potential and capabilities of going on and win that tournament and then but like even the lightweight tournament you know I felt like that used capella fight I was like could have easily went the other way uh and I just think cassu was the best in that division so I just think he's a model for a cuddle to win that for a second time out uh I feel like they don't they weren't building as he's like defending his title if that makes sense they're they it's almost like they're in a like in a football season that like you don't really only like you only really hear on sky sport saying the Champions you you don't you never hear fans say that person's defending their premier league title that makes sense yeah uh like I feel like as fans we should be nearly told he's defending his belt every round of that tournament there was there was something about the pfl where like I feel like people okay the show's on and some people will just tune in for one person's fight and then tune right back out I don't think a lot of it doesn't feel like a lot of people stay for the full entire show yeah well I feel like you're only getting the hardcore May fan base and I'd love to know the drop off rate of obviously pfl started earlier uh I'd love to know the drop off rate when UFC par started how many people change the channel yeah but the Zone it was on the Zone do do you have toone I actually do have toone but like I couldn't actually find it on my channels for ages man that's the thing I was watching on so many stream yeah I had I was watching on the stream and it just kept lagging and lagging and lagging and like while trying to watch Danel fight Valentina fight matis who won and um who am I forget mcgr no there was another orange person oh no was it just Tre I was just Tre yeah sorry uh or were you I was thinking yeah cuz I knew there was four people representing norish James this weekend uh that yeah but I was just like when you're watching it and it's lagging like that you're like Jesus come on man and like yeah so no I agree with you I agree with you and the same with dom norcas the was wasn't on uh UFC fo pass yeah but we can get to that after why was it why I thought is it just Bellator has a virgin media uh contract and then pfl is the zone no because I think I'm pretty sure when Nathan Kelly was fighting in pfl it was on Virgin Media maybe maybe maybe there was just not enough H interest from but like pull on version media 4 or something and like just play out like no one else is watching I know reruns or whatever show you're shown on version media 4 well big brother or something yeah exactly hold on it's because obviously their pay-per-views coming up uh in a few weeks that's going to be on the 19th of October is that going to be on like the zone pay-per-view so therefore they're putting it on the zone I'm actually not too sure I just like a lot of the time are you trying to look for the logic but the logic doesn't seem to be there if I'm honest putting you on the spot there Ross as per usual how many paper how many pay-per-views do you think pfl think they will sell and how many pay-per-views do you think it will sell I think they're going to I think they think they're going to do somewhere between 4 and 600,000 I think that's what they think they're going to do I'm sure some journalists will ask them how many pay-per-views they they expect I think they'd be lucky to hit 200,000 to be honest and it's it's not just I'm not trying to like hate on the product people get used to paying for certain products and people aren't used to paying for pfl and I feel like people aren't going to be paying for pfl because they're not used to paying for pfl so I think that's the way it's going to go down I do think four out of the five fights on the card are exceptional uh I just don't understand that one that's above P versus AJ mcke I think it's m shavin versus some Swiss dude like I just don't know why that's on the main card doesn't make sense to me uh I think this is where they should have got you know Bren L to fight uh pitbull or something like that and that would have been backer and people would have been like yes inject that into my veins that night they're going to be competing against UC fight night um fluffy Hernandez is taking on Pereira um and also Brave will be on tenie Jer Burns Richie SM will be on that card then it's going to be a a bit of bit of uh traction on that night a bit of bit of competition so that like that doesn't help them either when they're when they're trying to put on a uh a product that you're to pay for when there's going to be free products on available you know what I mean and like people are going to be entertained by Michelle Pereira you know what I mean so it's uh it's one of those ones where like hope hopefully people do put their hands on the Waller just just purely based on the fact that uh you know I love see Paul years get a get a good uh a good out and a good CH definitely uh then as Ross mentioned UAE Warriors was on on over the weekend and team KF Duo uh Dom norcas won on the Saturday and then Omar tuov won on the Friday uh Ross this week weekend I know it's UFC 307 it's going to be some decent scraps but uh Team Tes is very on Aram Maan MacDonald is fighting at PM PML 11 and he is the only orangish person fighting this weekend and also shout out to Shane McDonald he's having his 40 in the black forg in this Saturday make sure to get down there um I think that sort of wraps up all the absolute Carnage of MMA this week and from last week um before we wrap things up it's great to have Max L on I'm I'm actually really happy the way cage Warriors are making these moves now because uh as I said some of the some like most of their stars are now going onto the UFC or even like knocking on the door to the UFC and then uh just they need they needed something fresh to come in and uh it seems like they're doing it yeah absolutely and like look it's always good to freshen things up no matter what you're doing in life um that's that's what people want to see you you know I mean they want to see that that freshness added to it so I'm here for baso yeah of course like it just makes it way better crack when we're covering it uh next weekend UC FL night royval versus tyara uh octagon will be on as well sham Rock and will flurry be on that card bkfc Marb I can't wait to see that go down if you haven't seen her interview with the owner um founder of bkfc the CEO of violence Dave
