This is your was that your third or fourth pro fight? >> Third. >> Third pro fight. Um undefeated so far. And you got the you got the finish minute like about a minute 30. >> Uh yeah. >> Talk to me about it. Like what was what what was kind of going through your head uh at the beginning stages of that fight? Like did you know like you were going to end it in that round or or what? >> Uh first of all like not bad for a tech guy. Two submissions in a row. Uh, I was planning to go like three rounds full full scrap like I'm getting ready for the tough fight. >> Yeah. >> And uh that's how they they end. >> Were you let down a little bit? >> Huh? >> Were you let down a little bit? >> Yeah. Like not not so real. I don't know. like I have like everything going on in my head like right now. So, uh yeah, it was good fight, good opening. Nobody wants to fight with him. Uh so, yeah, we said let's go. >> Right on. Um what did you do to kind of prepare for this fight? Did you do anything uh differently or? >> Um yeah, I take my one of my best students. Uh he look at this. He's someh I take take him back from Ukraine like for uh four weeks I guess like he live in my house like train me like and it it's this is the best camp I ever had like so far. >> Right on. Um what what how were you feeling kind of coming into this? Obviously, I I feel like you were probably feeling pretty good. Um, but like what what were what were your kind of like your inner thoughts uh in the leadup to stepping in that cage? >> Um, the thoughts that I have like army behind my back like uh I have my best student, my best friend, I have my girlfriend in my corner, I have my coach in my corner, they all stand behind me. So like in that moment I feel invincible. when you were on his back and you're able to sink that choke in. Like were you like yet like did it even were you even thinking about it or is it something that just kind of comes naturally? >> Um I didn't even consider about one more uh like submission. I just saw it and and I did it. >> Right on. >> I just used the moment >> after about the like the first 30 seconds of that fight. Like what were you thinking? What like what was kind of going through your head after uh you you get a brief kind of you get to feel each other out. Um like what were you thinking after you know like you said the first 30 seconds? >> First 30 seconds I tried to get myself together cuz after his jab he's so [ __ ] hard jab. >> Yeah. >> Like after his jab I I saw like three Alex Pagans in front of me like come on guys. >> Get back together. >> Get back together. >> Right on. Right on. Um, so he had a bit of a like a significant heightened reach advantage on you. Like did you adjust your training to kind of compensate for that or did you have just a like a plan to try and navigate around it? >> I fight with the tallest guy all my life. like uh for me I guess it's uh even more uncomfortable to fight with my height guy or like lower but like tallest guy every fight in my amateur career in kickboxing taekwond do um in MMA also they were taller than me like uh >> so you're used to it. >> Yes. >> Right on. Right on. All right. Um so what what's next for you? What what do you got planned for next year? All right. Yeah. >> Uh hopefully it's C cage warriors. Hopefully. >> Are you already talking to some folks there or? >> Yes. Yes, we talking uh we our co my coach uh texting u and yeah we trying to find opportunity. >> Awesome. Awesome. Um all right.
