good always good on a Monday morning Happy Days Happy Days first of all Dennis H congrats on on the impending baby on the way uh absolute Legend um wish wish yourself the miss all the best on that and appreciate it lad you must be excited for fatherhood very excited for fatherhood very excited for yeah just my my 30s I'm 30 now so excited for the 30s excited for the the next few fights excited for yeah just the next the next decade of of life you know congrats wood you only look 29 but also do you know if you're having a boy or a girl yeah I'm having a boy so project Jon Jones is started already pads from inside the pads from inside the womb and all oh yeah if you want to call him if you want to call him Eno like that's sounds like a great name to me doesn't it right maybe a middle name maybe has a middle name but uh Dennis come here obviously uh you you uh you've gone viral uh in recent times you've also uh been terrorizing people on on the socials um tell us tell has life been crazy the last few weeks H it's slowed down a little bit now thankfully U but yeah definitely definitely was a bit mad there for for a while um being I'm still getting like just randomers messageer like if I go on my Instagram message requests mate it's it's it's [ __ ] mad um obviously the whole thing with patty patty has like a bit of a cult following and there's like people from Mexico that like our message be being like you [ __ ] [ __ ] and I'm like who are you like you took the time out your day to message some randomer in irand that you don't know in the UK that you don't know from Ireland and like yeah I don't know it's it's mad I just look at it like most of these people probably wouldn't say anything because it's not Fighters that are saying it to me it's just random fans do you know what I mean so yeah AB absolutely and uh tell tell us this uh Dennis obviously you're you're good friends with Cham and OB Patty and Cham training together and stuff like that was this beef a bit out of the blue for you or or like had you sort of seen this coming or what what what way did it start yeah like it was it was very it was very much out of the blue for me like I I didn't think we had any problems do you know what I mean I I thought obviously like during the Octagon challenge show i' beef with George and Jake but we were living in a house together you know ultimate fighter side of thing and I I've said this before on like a few interviews where everyone's seen what happened in the episodes Eight Episodes an hour each episode but filmed over three and a half weeks do you know so they're not putting in the bits where me George Jake you know Armon Aaron mattity we're all sat in the living room bantering with each other we're all sat in the living room playing Mario Kart together we're all going out for food together eating chicken wings together and like having laugh with each other being friendly they they don't show those parts they only show the parts where no want see that yeah do you know what I mean no one wants to see that anyway like but obviously in three and a half weeks of living with people like even three and a half weeks of living with someone that you're not meant to be fighting in a cage during that period it you know there will be periods where you argue or you have issues do you know what I mean like it's pretty standard like so um yeah it it was a bit of a mad mad scenario but I didn't think there was was anything after the fact like me after me and George fought I think I thought that was it obviously P Patty harbored some uh some negative feelings towards me since that um he sort of broke it down on his his Vlog uh on his YouTube that he he held feelings from that and then like yeah obviously s commented on a video one of my finishes we started going back and forth in the comments and uh you know Shem was trying to be a pemer in the whole situation but it got to a point where it's like you know we both have egos like me and Patty both have egos every fighter has an ego and he pushed my buttons I OB obviously pushed his buttons and it got to a stage where we're like right we're just going to have to have a scrap otherwise it's going to be a thing where if we see each other at a show or something it's probably going to kick off and I would rather it just be done in a controlled environment in the gym we we you know we have our scrapping and we shake hands afterwards and we don't get bared from going to C Warriors or something you know what I mean yeah and for you is that is that are are you considering that beef settled now um yeah yeah it's done like it's done we had we had our knock like I got I got a good experience out of it in like having a scrap against the top 15 UFC fighter so you know I didn't think I L to place on the feet either the beef benefited nearly everyone all around like obviously it got you more name recognition against like one of the most well-known fighters in the UFC H it got py some content for his blood blog and then like I suppose is like MMA fans around the world like it was like the most talked about thing that day so like yeah I think that that that that whole weekend it was probably the most talked about thing wasn't it and like there was no UFC on for a few weeks so everyone needed something to to watch and something to talk about um also I feel like it sets a good precedent now where like you know we can show that if you have an issue with someone you can just go and like just go and have a scrap against them do you know what I mean like you don't have to like pick up a blade or like pick up a weapon or a gun and go ruin your life ruin their life so yeah you know it it was an old school I don't know maybe it's like an old school thing like obviously me and him are the same age about 30 we come from a generation where like if you have an issue with someone you go and like have FY cuffs and then shake hands afterwards and maybe you're even mates afterwards you know what I mean so yeah that was one thing that was one thing from Patty's Vlog that he said at the very end way it's like you don't need to use a weapon and like it it is actually good for people coming up because like there is not a lot of crime going around and people carrying blades Etc and uh I think it actually worked out pretty well like I mean look the two get to live the rest of your life like obviously Patty's a new father you're about to be a father um uh energize frong but I mean like look look what's Happ to happen for my na yeah exactly and now as well as that look there's going to be a lot more eyes on my my next fight fight now um so I go put a spectacular performance on this next fight then that you know that gives me more momentum than going forward so yeah it that well for everyone I think and I suppose that leads us on to our next sort of uh topic uh obviously you were unhappy with octagon and now you're resigned back with octagon so where was the unhappiness and what led you to resigning or is that just uh Dennis Fong Mark 101 just uh you know giving it giv a giv a bit of lip on the side no you know what right so there's there was a lot of miscommunication last year and I think like octagon will probably say the same they have apologized from their side I I've apologized from my side of it um they just weren't in communication there was a lack of communication between us and that led to a breakdown of our actual relationship um as well as that there was a third party involved in my side of the negotiation that is no longer involved um that I believe caused a lot of the issues um yeah like obviously the the reasons I was unhappy were were obviously not getting fights and not getting fights often enough where you know as as I say this is my my livelihood this is the way I make my money I'm I'm 30 years old I can't afford to be just waiting you know having two fights a year I I can't afford I want to have like 35 fights in my career so I need to have like on average about three fights a year between now and the end of my career and um yeah we once that third party was removed from the situation and we aless of the potty the potty thing probably didn't uh didn't do any harm to the negotiations I'm sure will flurry winning um the fir you know becoming the first Irish champion in octagon didn't do any harm to the negotiations um you know so hopefully CH status as well exactly exactly you know so I I I I would say that I opened the door I I like nudged open the door as the first Irish man to win a fight on octagon um you know early last year and then by the end of the year we we've had our first Irish champion and I think once he gets that double champ status there's no reason for them not to come to Ireland and do a show in Dublin and I've never fought in Dublin so it would be a good homecoming I think um hopefully I get a little little run now get go on a bit of a terar and start looking at running at that lightweight championship belt myself yeah obviously Dennis you're going in now um fighting fighting a German lad in Germany and Robin Frank he's he's five and0 so obviously like you know probably a bit of hype behind him so I assume he'll have a lot of fans going in this one but uh no harm in you being the villain like uh it's a role you're probably used to playing especially in octagon so I see this one being interesting do you feel like um there'll be you know a typical Dennis frong build up into this one yeah absolutely um yeah I I'm going I've been doing a little bit little few Jabs towards him just to see how his reaction is he's already blocked me from tagging him so you know already is that already mate men the Mind Games have already started uh I just think Germans like let's be honest Germans don't have a sense of humor they don't know how to Banter they're a bit stiff you know in terms of like being able to take a joke so I like what's he going to do and I'm at the press conference a few days before the fight and he can't block me then do you know what I mean he has to listen to what I have to say so yeah it's going to be a long day for him um it is he's actually from stutgart as well so he's like a proper Hometown boy I can expect probably a hostile crowd a lot of booze that's just like it just Spurs me on that um I also think that I have experience fighting in arenas with octagon experience walking out to that sort of a crowd that sort of a show he doesn't I don't believe I think he'll crumble under the pressure a little bit you know the expectation from the home crowd of him having to beat me especially after like I've been abusing him for a few weeks you know verbally and stuff so yeah I I I can't see any way for him to come out of this unscathed yeah well that's why you have to make sure to check out Dennis frong against Robin Frank at octagon 68 on the 8th of March uh Dennis like you said you were previously in this Arena holds 15.5 th000 people like what was it like last time you were there uh the energy was immense like uh I was there last year they flew us all out um for the buildup to the Birmingham fight uh because that was in April um I think it was March last year as well wasn't it so um yeah we went out there we were all cage shyed um the energy was sick it was sold out 15 15,000 people um Christian youngworth like the best walk out I've ever seen live like it was intense it was like on par with Peter quy walking out in the three Arena like I would say like the energy was me this was mental like it was like 15,000 Germans singing in German it was a bit intense to be honest um like you know and Christian youngworth is like a star in St ster as well so I'm hoping that you know I'm hoping that I'll get a lot of booze walking out and that Frankin will get a lot of uh a lot of of cheers and then by the end of it when I've knocked him out on the canvas and he's there unconscious and I jump on the cage that people will be cheering for me I wouldn't be like you to say something like that then wouldn't be like it h denn obviously like you know mean you very you're very good at getting the eyes on your fight um is this something that you strategically do or does this come naturally to you it's just your personality it is who you are I think that it's a bit of both probably but I Am Naturally a former I think like it's not for me it's not only about like winning or losing it's about the performance he put I don't even mind losing at a razor close decision if I've put on a good performance if the walk out has been perfect you know the energy going in has been perfect um during the fight like like I'd rather lose a razor close decision where I've like I've had a scrap against someone and the crowd's been entertained it's been back and forth then win a fight where I've just held on to the guy in the cage and need his thigh and giving him a little foot stumps like no one wants to see that you what I mean this is the entertainment business we're not here to to you know hug each other and that like um yeah for me it's about the Highlight re it's about the entertainment of the the fans you know like Gladiators back in the day you would be spared your life would be spared if you were an entertaining fighter you know people would give you the thumbs up and say listen let him live He's entertained us he's entertained the crowd you know it wasn't really about like winning or losing I suppose one thing that's like important to like make people care is either they love you or they hate you but you make them feel something and I think that's that's that's where you come into it Dennis H you know what I mean whether you're you're the hero or the villain you know I mean you make them feel something I think that's that that that's what like sets you apart from a lot of people like I'm going to say like this earlier on in your career um one thing that's uh like I'm sure really annoys you uh something that like makes people like people like me and B job harder is the way typology constantly changed your record um what what do you feel about this because obviously you've had fights like in the Octagon show that like aren't counting you've had you know wins stricken off your record like how do you feel about that and is that frustrating for you because like obviously you actually went in there and fought and now like do you feel like disregarded yeah I just think that like I don't even I don't even look at apology anymore to be honest I I I look at fight Matrix that's what Dana White looks at that's what Hunter Campbell looks at it's what the UFC brass look at um that's the global like standard for your your record and for your ranking in the in the world um I don't really pay any attention to to topology anymore if they were really like striking out people's fights for being illegitimate then you know do it you do it do it across the board and and fairly you know go look at kayin loan's record and take half of his fights out then do you know what I mean do you know like let's just call a spade a spade go go go go look at all these other guys that are five six and0 strike all all their records out as well because they're fighting one and 44 guys 0 and 70 guys you know but then I fight an 0 and0 guy and just because I outclass him and make it look easy because that's the level I'm at I should like you know I should be fighting guys that are like 15 20 fights deep you know that's that's the level I'm at um so just because I classic and oh no guy and make him look stupid they're they're taking off my record but then they allow people to fight you know two and 44 two in 50 guys and you know they don't get stricken off their records so topology sort your [ __ ] out like you know I like quila I like quila to be fair but whoever whoever's whoever's running the UK side of things needs they had a wobble to be honest one thing I will say I'm like I'm not stick off topology guys but I feel like the last one Dylan mention or whatever his name is I feel like he had no business being in there with you and nobody nobody at my weight division yeah on the regional scene has any business being in the cage with me like regardless of whether that was Dylan Mitch or whether it was uh I don't [ __ ] know Jordan fury like the same result would have happened happened do you know what I mean it would have been the same result regardless you know what I'm say I I do think I think the circumstances of that one that it was last minute replacement of like you know Manchester top team were heavily involved with like a range of the show I felt like that made things look more Sinister for you guys not saying it was more Sinister but like from the outside looking in that's the sort of perception that uh would have been seen about it and I think you other other show promoters get that as well so like look at the end of the day you have a baby on the way and you have to provide for that baby and if you don't fight you don't get paid so like exactly you mean like I don't think it was do you know do you know what it is right like I actually rate Dylan DL Dylan Mitch more than a lot of these other guys because these other guys won't fight me on four five weeks six weeks eight weeks notice do you know what I mean I was meant to have a fight against Billy Adams on FCC we were planning on have a fight on the first of March this was being planned in like December and um everything was getting sorted mysteriously got injured broke his hand or whatever you know and it's like you know I can't get I I can't get a fight on full on full camp and then finally I get a fight against a guy the Brazilian guy who's like three in one or I think three or four and one I think it was or four and two and uh like a veteran three four third or fourth degree black belt in Jiu-Jitsu like from a a good lineage of Jiu-Jitsu like maybe a striking wasn't great but he had really solid ground game and I was like a bit excited for the fight you know like you had that tingle in my balls before the fight where I'm like oh this guy does have a route to beat me and then he pulls out on weigh in day I've weighed in and then I get car he's he's pulled out so I'm like right I've already done the weight cut I've already weighed in like just get me someone and Dylan Mitch showed up you know what I mean he came in there he got in there I have more respect for that than than Fighters that won't fight me on a full Camp yeah well that's the thing you're you're not the the Matchmaker either uh Dennis there there has been like talks about octagon potentially coming to to Dublin and like like like is there anyone that You' actually like to fight in Dublin I'll be honest I don't want to fight another a fellow Irishman in Dublin do you know what I mean it would be nice to fight on an octagon show where I'm actually the home the home uh the homeboy um especially my first fight in Dublin uh I've only ever fought up north when I fought in Ireland so yeah um is there anyone I'd like to fight in Dublin I'd like haen neuger in Dublin but he won't fight me let's be honest uh especially not in Dublin um maybe Vlad Lal that could be a nice one if he's if he's back up to lightweight um yeah now to be honest I'd like I'd like any German or Czech guy or Slovak guy you know and I'm sure that like you know a few irish guys will get signed to octagon but uh if I was to fight an Irish guy in octagon I I'd want us to fight not in Ireland do you know what I mean uh I'd like it to be a case where like we're a title contenders like say like say let's say Dar Kelly got signed to octagon I don't know if whether what's his situation with Bator pfl is but like let's say dck someone like dck Kelly got signed or like you know and uh let's say we were we had to fight I'd want it to be a thing where it's like it's a number one Contender fight and we're fighting for that because we have to fight at that point not like we're just fighting for the sake of fighting do you know what I mean um I spent my whole career Fighting Irish and UK Lads I want to I want to go conquer some European lands now would you like maybe like an Ireland versus the rest of Europe type type of scenario yeah yeah that would be sick like maybe like if if if there was a card in Dublin ideally a load of Irish Lads on the card you know Irish versus a an English guy Irish versus a German guy Irish versus a Czech guy Irish versus a french guy do you know what I mean like like that that would be that would be sick I think that would be a great way to do it I actually think you did Ireland versus the UK in Ireland I think like that would actually be the best way to sell the most amount of tickets because I think that would be the best way to actually promote the card and obviously you get UK fans like it's an easy travel to do them yeah and then also like with that like get Paul K yeah yeah like like not not even that like you know mean like you have obviously will probably should defend his belt in the main event then you have sham you have yourself you know what I mean like there's loads of other like young Irish fighters who you could sign who like aren't signed to like Gary Rooney yeah Gary Rooney James James Gallagher is a free agent now yeah exactly um even like the likes of Brian Manning and Manning um I think Mag would be a good sh gra she's making his Pro debut and cage conflict you know I mean like and like trying trying you know Target a few of the gyes around the country to yeah you know get get someone from each gym cuz each time you get someone from a different gym you basically bring that entire gym to that open the door yeah you open the door is it you open the door like if you put if you put BR Manning on just say Oxon Dublin or whatever that's probably 200 tickets sold before you even like walk out the door in the morning you know what I mean because like you're get 200 people from Cork coming up for that fight just for him alone you know what I mean yeah 100% I don't know it just makes makes a lot of sense but uh again we we we'll see what they decide to do yeah uh Dennis you're competing on the 8th of March uh who you going to happen in your corner for octagon 68 um I've got Carol prince in me Corner anyway and then i' believe yeah and then I believe uh one of the lads from the gym Daniel Holt he's an upand cominging Pro but he's uh up there at one of the best strikers I've ever uh I've ever trained with and he's his eye for the game he's only 20 years old like you're going to see him there in the next few years coming up his he's come he comes from like that pants kickboxing you know that like uh Waco Waco whatever it is kickboxing style can do all the mad like 720 degree wheel kick spinning backflip kicks and all that but he's he's very good and he has a very good eye for striking so I think I think I'll probably have him there as well just because he's uh he's already broken this guy down that I'm fighting and given me a little tips a few little tips on uh what he does wrong and what he does right and how I can take advantage of that so okay uh Dennis is there anything you want to say to the the the the FR pal n Nation they're they're going to be tuning in to see ukp on the eth of March um yeah just be prepared for like some calculated violence like I'm always entertaining and everyone knows that I don't I I don't really ever have boring fights you know um even when people try to make it boring I try to make it a bit more exciting so yeah just cheun in and uh watch me get another win yeah the buildup will be as entertaining as as the fo itself as always which is Dennis but uh look we look forward to seeing it um when's When's the baby je uh end of May end of okay so you fights first that's cool yeah I'm hope I'm hoping like get this fight and then maybe one more fight before before comes yeah in the door o when would you want octagon Dublin later in the year maybe like I think November December's a good time October November I was thinking yeah yeah yeah so I I was thinking like maybe after the baby get another fight in like start of September end of August and then maybe another one October November something like that that'll be four fights in the year four and0 yeah perfect sound like perfect plan Dennis sounds like a perfect plan let's see if it goes to you know yourself plans don't usually uh go perfectly but we'll see yeah put this way no no one more brings more eyes to their own fights on an octagon card than you do so hopefully octagon will start to value that and we'll see you rolled out more often and I suppose we might as well go from one controversial figure to the next who you have in mind the notorious Conor McGregor and his tweeting toades have hit an alltime new controversial level um he has effectively said Paul not Irish uh and also he's uh thrown a few slur as well but I was like what do you make this and like what are your thoughts on it I love that he put me on this spot man um do you know what I was actually watching a post for press conference of Connor after Aldo right yeah and uh that's actually 10 years ago now Sor was you wearing the maroon too um no but B one yeah but he was just so calm right and also he look so much smaller as well even though he was but I'm just like I was looking at him around he's just so calm there's no like bouncing all over the place like uh Robin black was reading out um quotes he said how he was going to over overload in the right hand and like everyone seeing The Knockout you know what I mean even though you were actually asleep when it happened and then had to wake you up um and I was just like w this guy like this was the guy like this this guy inspired millions and um but like just looking what he's doing now and just tweeting all this madness that like is just out like seems like out of nowhere but uh like like we have the energized M WhatsApp group shout out to the people on that um it's just like I don't know where what direction he's going in like who he's trying to is he even trying to impress people I like I actually don't even know I thought I I cannot understand his thought process behind a lot of things he's been doing recently um like will flurry was just on off the ball the news talk show like explaining how like Irish MMA isn't seen as a sport it's not seen as a sport in the country and the way certain people do certain things it puts a bad light in there um as you know yourself Russ covering the sport like we try and bring the best the postive news the positive yeah I'm fairness we just had D Fong on but I mean this sort of stuff it it puts a it puts a a shadow Dark Shadow over the scene and like look it's it is just really disappointing to see like obviously Conor's as own man as as so are we so like like what he does is nothing got to do with what we do and uh the some people in this country are doing amazing things whether it be the flers themselves the coaches uh even the the people that go to the events U the sponsors like this affects a lot of things the way Connor is doing these outrageous tweets um I think he obviously understands that like some of these tweets are so erratic that like he even ends up deleting them but like people are constantly refreshing his page so if he puts anything out they screenshot it it goes viral it goes viral all around the world like one I actually think sometimes you delet they go more viral yeah but like he like one second he's slaying khabib's family the next second he's giving out about the the the government in irand it's all like oh yeah like the the the people in the WhatsApp group we discussed it there um like we're we're sending stuff in updates whether it be about any sort of vitting but like obviously Connor stuff is going to be talked about the most in the group and like the way I'll just bring it back to full circle there the way like post fight after Aldo how K he was and like I just feel like Connor needs to like now who might to tell Connor what to do but I just I just feel like a good advice for myself to him would be take a mon off like just just focus on training and trying to improve yourself CU like a lot what he does impacts a lot of things in the country and like I think it' be great idea for him to like take a mo just committ himself to training for a month try and do like see the way we just had Dro January one let's do a Dro February like it's the shortest month of the year I think it would work wonders and I think it like after a month he can look back on what he's doing and take the good and take the bad and decide which one he wants to continue doing cuz um a lot of people want to see the all counter back yeah I I just think like he's always been a controversial figure he's always said stuff that has been controversial and like you know that like it's probably a bit too far but like because of the personality probably give a bit more leeway but I just think like Drop dropping like the nword is just like so unacceptable um and like if he wasn't happy with the way Paul youu spoke to the naga maid offs fair enough but like to tell him know to take that take that flag off his back and like refer to him from being up there as in Northern Ireland and that he's not Irish I just think those those two things are like just like blame the on true that he's not Irish and just also just like the height of disrespect and especially like you know if you if you take Derry as a as a county in segregation in the history of like the troubles on Ireland you know what I mean like it's probably I don't know whether one of the most controversial or one of the most affected uh counties Ireland has if not probably up there the most affected area with Belfast in terms of uh areas that have struggled with the troubles so look Paul obviously reps that oil flag everywhere he goes um it's nearly from his cage Warriors days all the way into his uh pfl Bellator days he's had that Irish flag and at the end of the day to try and take that irishness away from is just pure plain wrong and then I just think like dropping the M bombs and stuff like that after the fact it's just not for me you know no don't think it's for anyone to be honest um yeah the thing is where does it go from here like does it keep going in this direction or will it go a different direction like a predictions time I don't know I I I think like uh I think at the end of the day I think he's needs to get off the drink effect so like that and whatever else he's taking if he is partaking in the extra supplements and like I said I think like he needs to get clean for a while and start living a clean life and then like really reflect on what he's doing what he's saying um I think he's hanging around with like too many of these like no fares and whoever else and like they have such an obscure view on the world and now he's taking this this view on the world as well when you know I think Conor growing up in terms of like grow as in like his Roy he was so Pro Ireland and pro This and like yes he does take shots at the Irish government and like sometimes like I don't disagree with what he says but at the end of the day when he goes off and then drops nword and whatever else like regardless whether he's right or wrong it's just going to be seen as noise so I think like if he goes you know mean like like he probably needs help he probably needs people around him stop saying yes to him all the time and like been like oh jez I think that's a terrible idea you know so until like those people around them like start like telling his actions are are wrong you know I mean like he's just going to continue on doing what he's doing yeah it's see the thing is the difficult thing for him right now is he's still promoting Forge um and he's traveling all around the world like so that's going to disrupt any sort of training that you have going on but like he's the one himself that like paring is bad for the soul like I know that's sort of a loose quote that he said but he says he like when he was on his rise so he knows himself and um and like everyone knows like look we were out watching the irland game over the weekend and but like that was the first time we've been out in God knows how long you know what I mean like since out this year it's probably I think the first time we were out this year whereas like that's what makes it like going out enjoyable when it's not every week it doesn't need to be every week like yeah now obviously there's younger people listen to us and they're like they probably be out every week but like that's more look that's people's decisions but like living a clean lifestyle is uh is very very underrated and especially if you're an athlete or if you plan on coming back um if he does plan a coming back like obviously he was he was at the Trump inauguration where and telling the Logan Paul and Jake Paul he was goingon to fight them to and KSI like everyone know Story the truth of the matter is I'm sure you're the exact same I'm like sick of someone starting a conversation off me like did you see what McGregor said I'm just like I'm Dey melan like putting on Pro fights uh March 8th K conflict The Lads and fbii putting on the event like you have Shauna and Ken lock ran fighting on the 22nd of March in UFC London uh same day as clamor 51 like uh Christine is putting on that show and Paul and Paul then in April 26 cage Warriors comes to Dublin like the amount of Irish Fighters that are looking to be on that card like and then May third and fourth vertus and Akuma yeah on both those cards out had written down me 27 27th of April cage gladiators uh two the the chors like you know what I mean everyone's favorite cores in Ireland yeah um yeah but that's a me man like I mean look look man or may is absolutely like booming on this island at the moment more more Pro fights on this island now I think then there's been in years and I think the amateur scenes booming and the talent coming out of this country is absolutely exceptional and allone can't wait wait for it you know I mean like at the end of the day like yeah okay maybe on the UFC from we're not as successful as you once were but like I think that's starting to change um obviously there's big fights coming up in London ree mck's booked in April but like we have will flurry who's gone for champ champ stus KN gone we have James Sheen who's cage War world champion you know I mean like we're really holding our own on this front and I think a MMA is like on a massive uprise at the moment and I think as I sort of alluded to it like it would probably help if you know people like Connor and you know Ian Gary you know were more shouting down for these fires a bit more but at the end of the day we can't make them do that so like we're just happy enough that like RM is in a good place I suppose but it would be helpful if someone like Conor mcgreger was you know training hard and booking fights as opposed to partying hard and send no tweets and then yeah like that's that's my take on it yeah so uh if you have any other takes let us know because who knows the weekend in Saudi Arabia what a turn by the way it was absolutely the it was just it was amazing Ireland got the win in the rugby and then the UFC was on the same time H in the main event nazarin imov defeated Israel adanna Ross we both predicted beforehand that Israel adisan will get the win but uh he was he was knocked out by imov where does arisna Go From Here Russ yeah well look he was doing well in the first round I thought he won the first round and then he just got caught I don't know whether you know it's hard to say is his chin there the way it used to be I don't know but I actually think what could be a great fight um style-wise would be the co-main event winner in Michael Venom pagee versus Israel adna the main event loser because I think first of all I think that's storywise that makes great fight uh I think MVP a win over Izzy would be huge for him uh also like I feel like MVP just fought this one fight at middleweight I don't think we'll see him saying at middleweight um but I do think uh like NE of them really us their their size as a like uh an overpowering factor in a fight uh so I would say MVP is an option but I also think like adania versus Kevin Holland could be a good option as well I think they're the two FS that I'm like right that's a good limus test to see what's left on the tank for Izzy yeah um Kevin Holland will be taking on gunar Nelson at UFC London as well H Ross any if Israel Adan was to move up to Lo heavyweight who do you think he could take on or something that's a good idea for him to be honest no I think uh like if his Chain's not great I think going up and fighting someone like larger is not a great idea and also like I don't think he bulks well like we saw against yam blov which how like Yan just use the so against him and I just feel like this not the best option yeah like I feel like Izzy could do a lot of things outside the sports as well and be like very successful at them you know what I mean so i' like if he only has one or two left in him like so be it and then I have to ask him who should who would you like to see nardine imov fight next well I think I think considering we're getting like d Ste versus Sean Strickland like that cuts a lot of Vision out I think like the main person you really probably look at is hamay although I feel like he is sort of uh he's really sort of promised the next middleweight title shot so it'll be very interesting to see what they actually do there um so yeah I think maybe him against uh is a CH for is that who he say yeah yeah maybe him against the guy road and make that like a number one Contender fight for after Strickland versus dupc and after Hamza well then that that sort of seg Segways nicely into this weekend's UFC card Ross UFC 312 um trick dupes is taking on Sean stricken for the second time that was a very fast pay-per-view turnaround no from 311 or is that just me uh UFC 311 was on January 18th yeah so like that's only what two weeks pper viws three or three weeks yeah it was short I knew but uh yeah a bit of a a funny pay-per-view because obviously probably not the best in terms of uh name recognition but uh I suppose your co-main event the main event are two FS that people will be very very intrigued in uh obviously what Le Jang is fighting Tana Suarez and that's for the strawweight title obviously Tana Suarez was out for w with injuries but like she is an absolute wreck Mall of a a fighter obviously she's 10 and0 um 70% finish right um but like she's looked fairly Unstoppable in her uh in her recent performances um she's getting a few finishes along the way as well so yeah I think we what was a four year Hiatus between uh 2019 and 2023 and then hasn't fought since August 2023 but now she it was a neck injury wasn't it yeah yeah so she hasn't foughten over year coming in for a title fight against possibly like the baddest woman on the planet realistically uh wayy Jang is an absolute monster but um I'm looking forward to that one baso yeah well my sh was that Tatiana Suarez Co potentially to be champ champ yeah I wouldn't I wouldn't doubt I think like she could definitely go up to Floy way um wi both belts um obviously wayy J is beating everyone in the UFC not named Ros dunas so will be interesting I think I think whoever wins here could be touted to go up to Floy weight and FL for for that belt next to be honest because it be wayy Jang like that's absolutely Sensational uh the only thing is I think we're waiting for shenko versus Faro to be made and then what about who who you findy for dcus against Strickland I think trus is going to win I feel like both these Fighters like if you actually watch them like skill for skill you're like how are these two the best type of thing you know like I was looking at Sean Trick's like record the other day and it was like 24 and six and I was like it feels like's 29 and six oh 29 and six sorry like it feels like he's like 18 and 10 or something just like his the way F and like even if you look at his last two losses against drias dupy and was it kir yeah uh I feel like you know you could argue that he won those as well so it's it's uh it's it's very interesting because like his fight style is so onedimensional H Strickland and like did he did he move up away division against Kan year oh no was that middleweight okay uh no he's definitely all light heavyweight before um but yeah I suppose like he's he's a very odd fish as well so like Strickland is uh he's going to make it interesting the pre uh post fight or pre-fight press conf is going to be very and and then dck is dupc like people can't say how like sloppy he is but uh at the end of the day like that sloppiness has got him to a world title so um look I'm looking forward to I think it's going to be an absolute Barber the first one was unbelievable fight and uh let's let's see who who who was the bigger dog in them because I feel like that's what's going to come down to this fight yeah I'm actually you know what remember D said that once he got no surgery he was going to be even better like he actually wasn't messing yeah um then so like that that's this Saturday um so like looking at the card the cards actually amazing to be honest about um the the main event the co-main like sort of are carrying are carrying it a lot uh then uh there's a couple other things that we just want to go through before we wrap things up in the Irish M May scine um over the weekend Roy K won a hexagon MMA in n France and goes two and0 Ross a to say about Ry kill yeah he got the um first round rear naked TR Queen over in France I feel like uh first time he fought in hexagon his opponent PO for PD so I felt like this was almost like a a red debut in a sense for him but uh I must say like physically like in condition like seeing at the weighs like he looked in phenomenal shape so uh yeah shout out to Ron k h great to see him uh in that win column and can't wait to see him fight again soon also interesting to see him fight on a show like hexagon as far as I'm aware like that's the only Irish fighter I've seen fight on that show so again you know like we say if you fight on a show like that that is reputable um and you know you're the only or fighter on the card you're going to get get the o on that weekend so yeah fair play to someone someone who would think Oxon or lfl should be probably looking at or cage Warriers yeah then uh also Polaris goes down this weekend as well Zara D Tano sister of Mario D Tano will be competing on that card and then this weekend Eternal 92 goes down in Sydney Australia in the main event stepen costlo who we had on the show last week so make sure to check that out is defending his eternal welway World Toil and also Alan Philip will be on the card as well Ross what are you expecting from Eternal 92 I'm expecting the ERS to go two and0 baby H Steven Costo to defend his eternal belt and Alan philipot to
