energize show up the irish okay what's going on guys and welcome to a brand new episode of energize russ introduce the guest matt today we have two fallen irishmen on the show we have brought the pokemon more and the undefeated kieron clark lads how are we getting on we're all good well i'm good anyway they're on campus speak for kieron but i'm i'm a good forum anyway oh it's going to shoot okay you're never in bad form you're never bad for them karen what about yourself all it's going here allowed the same old just the body's bit broke up from the train and i'm sure we're all the same here at this stage now not um guys not long now we're we're in fight month and brian tell us this how's preparations uh going for you on how sorry are you to right the wrongs of the last two fights yeah preparation has been going great you know i've obviously kept my a lot of things in place that that worked well for me so obviously you know with the guys up in spg and with my coach forever now john what um back then on expert here that uh i've had a lot more training partners been able to bring them into the home to my own home gym you know with a good crew jiu jitsu guys but uh two new striking coaches you know where i'm working you know tirelessly with them we're we're doing a lot more more efficient work and can't wait to put that on display i always felt like my stroke was a high level but i think i've had a different level for this one again so you know excited now and like you said trying to write two wrongs um you know my last fight i still feel like i i've done enough but don't doing enough isn't enough you know i'm i'm looking to put this guy away early that's what we like to hear yeah exactly yeah and uh kieron tell us this do you feel more pressure for a show now you know you're you've been slated on the main card you're bringing the big numbers down you're undefeated do you feel like there's more pressure on you on this fight than there has been in the previous yeah definitely of course i mean every fight you keep winning and and doing well and every fight is going to be more pressure but it's only the pressure put myself in and um well yeah don't get me wrong it's it's a high stakes in that but it just makes the wind more sweeter and then yeah i'm looking forward to i mean this will be fit for freeway so getting fairly comfortable there now so that's one thing is for sure like the tree arena is absolutely mental any time it's for a battle tour dublin event like like you've both competed on belgium dublin cards before but like what about this one will be different to the rest uh brian you can go first but i love the cards from top to bottom you know i think it's a really [ __ ] exciting card the match-ups are are insane you know from the very first flight to the last fight um but pellets are always delivered for irish shows you know but it's just it gathers momentum you know i remember um fighting main event against aj and that was a big fight that was a great card but things have just escalated in a good way you know the irish fans are they are you know probably they're famous now for for um military arena you know and it just keeps growing and more people are getting on board and you can see that the promotion bellator put into this event alone you know um we're excited as [ __ ] for this you know and uh like i said it's like what three weeks away is it tree you know i wish it was this weekend you know it's so exciting that no matter who you are whether you're the biggest superstar in the sport it's a privilege to fight in front of that crowd in the tree arena care what about yourself bud yeah like ryan said i mean from top to bottom it's um all the fights are unbelievable so i'm really looking forward and it's um i think the r is proud and even like as ourselves and stuff these are all um there's the hate in the sense that the fights hit the ground or acting it down you you get to take down the chair and the whole lot whereas you go with the other countries then they're just looking for you to slog it out and so that's what i think it makes the irish fans unique and obviously getting behind their own i mean no matter who you are from the country everybody's getting behind yourself yeah they also do think buzz that it is uh with these guys in particular and with a lot of the irish waters they do bring exciting soils like like where were you when karen clark made that come from behind a rear naked chokwing like that was unbelievable and you know brian moore the irish canelo you know that uppercut is absolutely legendary like people people love to watch these guys for you and i think the goal is brilliant and that adds the atmosphere yeah like big time and i was only you know when you had me and kieran on there um i was only looking into the card and you know if i was a betting man i would put myself down for a knockout at night and carry on for submission and i feel that's the way it's gonna go like um and me and kieran i must say like uh we got the biggest reception the last time bellator you know uh came so we're gonna do the same again but now we've with a lot more lads as well on the card that are going to bring the house down the roof is going to be [ __ ] blown off this place typical very typical there's something about a battle to a dublin car that people just have to watch it's almost like a super bowl people that don't even like really watch mma or anything are always tuning in seeing watching the crowd going after you borrow and be like [ __ ] sake wish i was there yeah it's so it's a weird thing because like um you know i've been in i've been i fought on a few bellator dublin shows i've been a fan i've been [ __ ] i've had the best seat in the house and i've watched it on telly would like you know i remember i was going to go my car broke down so i was soaking at home looking at what i mean it's a special night well you know um you gotta experience it live i feel as well you know what i mean if you're in that crowd you feel a part of something massive some [ __ ] enormous and i've found different places all right across the world there's nothing that comes close to it it's really hard to describe and when you're looking on tv and you can hear the roar and the crowd and the [ __ ] viral videos and all that that's that's amazing but being in there being a spectator and being a fighter or whatever like that um it's it's super special you know it's uh when we look back at our career we'll be looking back and remembering those nights and that's a fact yeah you know bellator me in business when they have brian moore and karen clark's faces all over the lewis as well ross yeah absolutely kieran tell us this what was your face and your initial reaction when you saw you were on the louis yeah oh you're hiding the notion of it that led to charlie oh yeah literally some fella i know he lives above him dublin and he sent me a picture and i thought i'm sorry you're on the loose and they said ah i thought you little small poster with queenly and all the lads and if like i'd be little face down the bottom or something and actually default with me in the big portrait and i couldn't believe i couldn't get over and i used to be getting them them loses the train and then dodging the boys you know i mean next layer stuff had always paid his fair say you don't say no yeah tell us this brian uh besides your own adherence for you as a fan which which fight are you looking forward to watching most yourself um let me see i will i i'm like one of my closest friends on the team is queenly and i've been plaguing him to floyd benson anderson for as long as you know i mean it's a fight i've always wanted to see i really feel like peter does very well against sophos um your benson is obviously as a an excellent grappling game but i think he's going to find it very hard to get peter down it's just a very interesting setup or match up and uh you know that's a fight i'm super excited to see obviously people want to see room here i just can't wait to see romero in the flesh see what the [ __ ] he actually looks like you know what i mean he looks like a superhero so you know i probably feel like [ __ ] standing beside him you know but i'm interested to see him but um look at this there's a lot of good cards i would see a zeal he looks tremendous in training you know and that's that's on the prelims there's a lot of there's a lot of guys obviously here on every time he fights you know um i'm tuning in for that because i just the likes of kiron i'm going to name more but kieran and danny for me danny neal and i know she's not on this card but the two of them are my kind of people they work so [ __ ] hard to put their head down and work work work and i just love seeing the results of that and uh you know kieran's running away with the thing and uh i'm you know he should be very proud of his career and that's what i really want to get behind and that's what i'm excited for yeah well i can't wait to see you also yeah i don't know carol you go ahead yeah who you looking forward to yeah no i mean from top to bottom i'm looking forward to albany but i'd have to agree with brian um definitely peter quilley's fight is probably the most interesting to me uh fanboys if you're watching it i think peter peter has a style i mean i think um benz will try and make it boring before you keep them on the other side calf kicking but i think peter have that blitzen strike and still to come forward and catch him and he knows he's great take down defense he doesn't have to worry but not that he doesn't have to worry about he'd be swift and i'm really looking forward to that one and yeah the aziele and uh derek kelly as well it's some monsters there in the gym training at the minute and obviously myself brian doing our rounds today i mean pushing each other around that's just really i can put my finger on one foot it probably would be peers just because it's such a big floyd farm you know yeah even the entrance and shout out to kenny carl and pedro as well we can't wait to see it that's like what's this sort of atmosphere like i'm sure there's group text going around in the build of two bellator dublin what's sort of the void because everyone knows it's just like the hottest ticket in town on september the 23rd yeah we're looking the gym we're all [ __ ] we're all posing for this you know and uh i've been part of svg for a long time and we've fought on you know there's been numbers a large number of us fighting on cards and we're always able to hit a different level i feel you know what i mean um we're always trying to push each other hard and get the better and you're you know you're going against guys that are kind of peaking so you know the bose forward is huge but like just even on like you know my my [ __ ] phone people like where can i get tickets and i just have to a copy and paste that they can match i'm like that's where you can get tickets i mean you know but it's everybody wants to take it for this because it's huge you know and um you know what i mean here honor are looking at you know uh you know kieron has draw had a voice for those people that travel up in in numbers to see us you know what i mean which is great because having that hometown support is huge and like we get massive um support from dublin too you know what i mean so i'm just grateful to have it and how lucky are arrows irish fighters to have you know a venue in an event like a bellator open you know time and again it just it's it's unmissable i think once you walk out with the trolley color like the the crowd just goes nuts it's just those like they they just love it and especially if you have you know a walkout song that people can sing along to like it's it's a different gravy or he really is it's crazy like the the support the other supporters like do you remember when i don't know water they're still going well but i remember like ireland done really well in cricket a few years ago now i don't care for cricket at all but i was come on lads you know what i mean who gives a [ __ ] about cricket but it's just what if they're or if you're irish and you're doing well um yeah get behind your own you know what i mean we're just a loyal bunch and i feel like when i'm fighting in front of the irish crowd you know that uh they i feel like they're in there with me almost you know that kind of way they're kid they're doing all they can to support it's [ __ ] incredible and like i said i've been i found different arenas and you're kind of like boy is everything so quiet it's [ __ ] crazy you know and it's madness it's just uh but it's great void and uh like like i said it's just you look back on this forever more you know what i mean no absolutely it's like uh the women's hockey team i think was the thing uh the donovan brothers in rowing what was your man's name connor i think he was like doing the horse riding or whatever like it doesn't actually matter like as long as we're winning like and you're flying the other flag we're there even the orange the qualifier for the quality for the world cup as well yeah shout out to the shout out to the girls they're absolutely smashing it and kieran obviously you've fought your entire bellator career in the three arena which is uh insane are you looking to move out of the tree arena for your next fight yeah well sorry apart from one i fought in the echo arena and very very sorry event over there for bellator so i fought there once again before the fights them were in the tree so now look come here as brian said it's a privilege to be fighting i mean most people never get the front foot in front of our their home countries fans in just as brian was saying he hit the nail the head don't say much more i mean you feel the energy in there and when that when they're in there you really do feel them in their witch in every exchange they come to better over there you know they're behind you and they're letting it run it's uh it's unbelievable really but i definitely would love to get another one now outside of them ireland just just say you know and as you just we're talking there's a lot of pressure and it's more you know don't get me wrong the wind when it comes it's much much sweeter but uh i'd love to now get one outside and just to even break into the states or another country in europe and just uh to be more active really because obviously i'm twice here at ireland so i'd love to get one in the summer and um yeah just keep keep the ball rolling brian how's it how does he go get that tone what does he have to say to you samuel like you're one of the most experienced guys in the bantamweight division in bellator you thought uh i think moscow was your last out and i i think you've been to london um and stuff like that simple as that so he's on that trajectory where he's he's just smoking guys and he's going to keep doing that and you know bellator don't forget her they're i think their home is dublin but they are an american company you know they have a lot of their title fight title fights in america um they will want to shop here on uh to the american audience before before he you know challenges for a belt so that's coming very quick you know what i mean he just needs to do what he's doing don't focus on anything else yeah 6-0 will be a very unannoyable he should be able to call a shot and fight wherever he wants next yeah it's it's inevitable like i said all he has to keep doing what he's doing he's they can't deny if you're winning and he's winning in fashion you know what i mean yeah i suppose it won't be bad it won't be a sweep but look you mean yeah you have to let that man become pitbull and make him let him be mr worldwide you know that's before we wrap things up we want to find out how you get the job done in the tree arena on the 23rd of december brian you're taking on uh uh sorry excuse me uh arvaldo silva how are you getting the job done in the tree arena i'm gonna knock his [ __ ] head into the first row that's how i'm gonna do it i'm going to find a i'm going to find his chin and i'm going to put him asleep simple as that the last fight i fought it like a chess match you know he was trying to counter me i was trying to counter him but um i'm not going to throw caution you know i'm not going to get reckless but i will find it you know and i'm going to put him away i'm not letting her i'm not letting half my purse get decided by tree judges never again you know what i mean and um you know he leaves himself there you know he makes mistakes and i'll capitalize on that i'm gonna knock him out and karen what about your support mister drada um we're expecting tough fight lights but i think i'll um it's uh i think i have a feeling just the way my train has been going have been feeling reformed i think it's gonna be maybe a late second round finished hardware and finish um i don't know how but i feel like the pressure would be too much and i think please god to get the win then second hold round that's what we like to see bass i'm looking forward to seeing you guys all in the build up to the fight uh and see what you guys have in store for us and shout out to all your trainer partners partners at spg ireland and
