okay what's going on guys and welcome to a brand new episode of energized rush introduce the guests we have the bad boys from monaghan we have mckenna brothers we have aaron and stevie guys how are you doing all right keeping good here yeah can't complain i have to i have to make this mention because we've got to be able to start last podcast we actually made over 600 euro for movember we got like another hundred euro after it was over so like people are obviously like holding their christmas pay packet and then they were like you know what give some money to the lads yeah i'm sure i'm sure the lads when they win this weekend they'll they'll send on it they'll send on that winning paycheck they're not getting paid yeah yeah but yeah tell us the story what's the plan for the weekend then where are we going who are we fighting yeah we're fighting over and what's your son it's in a radix uh both was fighting on the same card it's on friday night so we're heading over in a tuesday morning and then we get into the hotel we go into a bubble and we're staying there but we have no confirmed opponents yet we're still waiting and confirmed upon them so uh we'll know what's in the next day or so you're not you're still voting you're still waiting for it yeah yeah yeah nothing's been confirmed yet and how hard is that now to train knowing that like you might not actually have an opponent yeah you just keep training away like normally you have to be ready for anyone more or used to your opponents pulling out the last minute not so you have to be ready for anything all styles we're ready for we just work on everything in the gym and then once we get our opponent named it's just you know it's go time and stevie is that a manny pacquiao hoodie you're wearing yes oh no it's a wild card it's miguel carroll oh miguel cotto okay i wasn't too sure if that was the panama crest or puerto rican puerto rico and puerto rico oh that's class and guys we'll be amazed not to discuss what's hot in boxing right now tell us what were your thoughts on mike tyson versus roy jones jr yeah it was it was a good fight for the rage like a i didn't expect mike tyson to be that good for the age he is and i thought he was better than what i thought he was going to be so yeah it attracted a lot of fans too so that's good old mp review phase that make tasting still bringing in it's absolutely crazy isn't it like people just absolutely adore even his podcast has blown up like all his merch i actually bought one of his t-shirts as well just to like just everyone's in all of them yeah there will never be another mic tasting again like yeah and that's sort of the thing i was going to get to you know i mean would you guys be interested in getting one of those my toys and cards you don't mean because it's such a spectacle and it get brings so many more eyes to the sport oh definitely who wouldn't want to fight them like mike tyson card like a it's everything streamed you'll even seem hard as mike tyson but it was it was good to see him back in the ring yeah he was very good you know for someone that's been either in 15 years it was he was in some shape so he wasn't he he only has that killer intent but it was a good to see him in roy jones he'll share the ring again oh well for the first time would you would you like to see them again because there's talk now of like like uh mike tyson potentially fighting the vander holyfield uh talking roy jones jr now boxing anderson silva like the the combat sports world is just completely blown up especially with jay paul now supposedly bringing in like half of those uh pay-per-view boys like would you like to see them back in the ring again yeah mike tyson i'd like to see mike tyson like just exhibition type ones yeah you know not professionally but i'd still like to see him fight away in exhibitions because it's always going to be exciting seeing mike tyson in the ring yeah i think i think it's the boy toys and king ross isn't it it's just like oh definitely you just want to see him like like it's even the no matter who you are or you know arabians a big fan of mike tyson and regardless of his record or how he finished his career like he'll always be known as the scariest failure to ever step foot in the boxing ring that's who you get i'm gonna ask all previous uh we'll start off with you stevie and then then you are and then you ask who would you like to see my toys and for you next and why um i don't know it's it's it's hard to call like you who would like to see maybe holyfield again and see what holy feels like you know it'd be interesting to see but you never know who you'll fight and any um heavyweights will be looking to make a return to get their name out there again and you'll be fighting again so it's any fight to see my testimony it's going to be exciting what are you wearing i think yeah holy fields are canon you can't be copying you can't be copying stevie as well but uh i think the build up for that fight would be let's go champ that's it i think that's actually a better show shannon the cannon yeah after giving aaron a bit of stick saying you can't pick same one you can't then back up and take challenge oh i like it i'd like to see him fight francis and daniel from uh who fights in the ufc that would be uh oh yeah that'd be good that'd be good he's trying to attack over now and it's it's funny as well because like dana white's starting his own boxing promotion as well uh like i'm not too sure they're in there that they're there's the potential matchups are unbelievable just not even just my toys and but like even the younger fighters as well like even for you lads you're over there you're going to be over there again now and like you could easily get called up onto one of them cards especially being like especially being like a duo you know yeah it'd be deadly to be in the same car as any um legends yeah because um we had we had dean barry on our show last week he just saw with ufc and like they loved the irish thing they just love it so like you that's almost like the golden ticket in a way yeah i can't believe no one asked me who always want to see my toys sorry would you like to see me who would you like you know i love seeing mike tyson versus lennox lewis the rematch lads tell us jake paul you've probably you probably saw the fight do you think his boxing skills are legit because he slowly but surely convinced me now i'm not saying he's up at like uruguay's level but for a youtuber who's taken boxing on for the last two or three years i think he's got frightening god in that short amount of time yeah well for someone that's only been boxing two or three years he's he's good like if he's a decent fighter he's a bit of power in the sponges so he definitely is like good for someone that's only really an office in the game but you know it's it it's it'd be the end of storm if he were to fight real professional fighters you know it'd be a step too far i think he's alright fighting other youtubers not but if if he steps up and fights real real fighters i think he'll get hurt but it you just can't like turn pro over two three years and then you'll fight these guys these guys have been training their whole life so but he he does love goodies you know for tomorrow's two years in the game what do you earn what do you think yeah to see him he's a he learned a lot quick in them two or three years that he's been training but i don't think he's at the standard where he could fight professional boxers you know even any type of professional block so i think he should just stick to fighting other like people like himself he's only been training a year or two what do you think of him versus maybe dylan daniels i don't know if you know who dylan dallas is but he's a jiu jitsu uh practitioner and he fights mma in bellator his standup isn't like amazing by any stretch of the imagination so do you think he could mix in there with an mma fighter who isn't much of a striker yeah i think that would be maybe a well-matched fight because dylan danis isn't really a battery it's a martial art so well i haven't seen much from boxing wise but i think it'd be you know well even much on pfr doing uh with what the paul is did it would just be it'd just be like such an interesting spectacle like everyone is obviously on their own journey there's no there's no real like right way or wrong way like as myself and russell learned doing the show there's you learn every day you learn every week make things better just improve and prove improve like j paul obviously has like 20 million subscribers on youtube so he brought a massive audience to the game you last like moved over to la you know i mean like dylan moore now was training with conor mcgregor like it's just like everyone goes in their own journey so like it's it's for boxing itself i think it's great to get extra eyes on it you know what i mean uh like for instance say if you were on that card about the perrys you poke on knockout wins you'd have more eyes and get more fans more followers more money you know yeah i think it's always good to bring extra fans to support you know it's it's going to bring even more even young children and all into it and make them want to start boxing he brings a huge family for a lot of young and teenagers into it so it's it's good for boxing as well yeah but even the way you're allowed to style the way you you go straight on the front foot and you're almost like you're so close to your opponents it's like such a like deadly way to fight you know i mean some people aren't as impressive like for instance like badou jack had a massive opportunity there last week to go out get a knockout and everyone would be following him but he went to decision you know like uh like the way you last fight is it's a it's very very special yeah it's it's a bit of an assault basis like commenting on all your posts just being like the way you get in you just drown the opponent straight away you know what like if if anyone's watching this now and they're lined up before you they're probably like think i've covered lads like we always go for the knockout if the knockout is there we'll we'll go for it you'll we're not really interested in going the distance because you never know what will happen in there you can get a cut or anything anything can happen so if you get the opportunity to take them out of there do it get them out of there so what do you think is the trajectory for you now like um is it next step like a european toil um is a you know an american toil is it a world title where do you see your next two or three fights going well after this like early next year i want to stay as busy and active as possible and try and get as many fights as i can over in england or here or wherever it is i'll take them before we can go back to america and then by the time we get back to america well i want to be fighting the likes of the world champion with golden boy patrick dixera that'd be one of the easier fights to make so i want to get up to that level how are you stevie yeah i want to keep busy keep fighting i've back-to-back fights here now uh 11th of december and the sambaria thing so it's a busy two weeks ahead and i want to keep fighting and hopefully push by the end of next year into the top 15 more rankings and take it from there you'll take every five sitcoms but i want to just keep winning and doing it in style and stevie asked me about very well into like well you as well aren't you go in there and you blow people out of the water do you ever feel like after you're done like you weren't actually satisfied as in like you didn't get a fight that you were looking for and you're almost like i should probably fight again next week because you had the glove on me i'm always happy going there to knock it any any fight can't provide you up to 150 rounds sparring so i'm getting plenty of work in the gym and getting unbelievable sparring especially when it was in america i'm getting the experience in in the ring sharing of the world champion so going into the ring and fighting i just want to you know go for a knockout or you know do it in style and if it happens in the first round it happens you know i'll take it that's what what's it like being like sparring partners with each other like pushing each other every day i saw you put a clip up when you were like running up the stairs up to the and then like i was reading about this oh yeah i think there was a shot with a shot with a drone it was just what's it like having each other to like just go go and become as good as as great as you can be because like obviously certain people don't have siblings or don't have close-knit friends and obviously due to covet people would have been training about themselves but you have each other like i bet you like if you set the alarm for 6am stevie aaron's setting the alarm for 5.55 you know i say you're always trying to beat each other and everything eating the cereal like it's like oh you finished first yeah it's great that we have each other and we push each other on a lot whether it's in running or strength work and even boxing and we always try and get the edge in each other we're really competitive no matter what we do and even we're very lucky over the lockdown that we could work with each other you know where you couldn't travel to any gym so we were fortunate that we got a spa with each other you're literally blessed lads i was actually i was watching instagram you guys with the medicine ball and you were like thrown at each other there was no love lost there between the twos but i was looking at the two years and like physically was i think you're actually both in the best shape of your career would you agree yeah yeah i'm getting stronger and stronger both of us even since my last fight i feel like i'm hitting even harder but worked extra hard in the gym we okay came back after the fight and we've been non-stop training since and uh as a fighter we're getting better and better as well so it's it's gonna be exciting now next week see both of us live from the same show and uh for everyone to see what we can do yeah we'll even make sure to promote everything well that's just a couple more questions for you let you go back to the medicine ball um what what what why do you love boxing so much because obviously you like your your passion for his own is undeniable like what is it about boxing that you love so much uh stevie will let aaron go first uh just uh i've been boxing ever since i was six and that's what i grew up loving and watching and my father used to box as well and then my grandma boxed so it was boxing's in her blood and then the first day i was in the gym i just loved it and when it could inspire unless i knew that's what i wanted to do hit people in the face i know everything else i know what it feels yeah over the years then i knew early that i wanted to turn pro so it turned through when i turned 18. i just want to become world champion stevie and you can't copy him stevie a lot a lot of us the same but yeah it's you know we live and breed boxing it's all all we know you know it's like our our dream job and then we're doing it but we want to become world champions and that's been our goal ever since we are uh no like eight years old this is all we've been doing and we have a gym here at the house we have everything here for us we're very blessed to have everything and then it's gonna be doing an exciting journey and we we love it and stevie obviously uh and aaron uh obviously you guys train over in america under the tutelage of freddie roach one of the best if not possibly the best boxing coach of all time obviously he won't be able to make your voice fight and obviously he's probably doing quite a lot about isolation he's got underlying health problems but how we're in contact with freddie are you these days yeah we uh keep in touch with freddie over face time in that i'm doing a few interviews as well with them and freddie can't wait to see us again he's really looking forward to having us back yeah we we we love freddie so we do he's a great trainer and he's learning us so much and in a few years time it's gonna show through how good we're gonna get with freddie in the corner yeah stevie stevie said to us next time we're gonna have to get freddy on the show as well that'd be unbelievable roswell that's just another question right what uh this is a question for both of you so this time steve you can go first stevie what is it about aaron that makes us so good and then obviously aaron what is the best tv that makes it so good so stevie um i think he's a very smart fighter in there you know he's very tricky he always he can fight in the inside and he can box along and he's he's a hard puncher as well so overall he's you know a great fighter so he's even sparring with him he's very tough to figure out he's always switching things up and he's constantly making you think but overall he's like a world-class spider aaron uh yeah steven's a a really good fighter he's got that great attitude in the ring he always has that intent to hurt you so you can't switch off at any moment and he's a real good rangy fighter he's also a really good boxer you just haven't got to see it yet because he's took every night so quick that's true uh buzz one thing i i was just sitting here i was thinking how much does aaron look like a young johnny sexton he does he does people we've heard that one a lot of times and then lads a very important question though this is very serious right very good one of you guys is better friends with kendrick lamar um i don't know uh both of us are good friends on me i see he's doing a concert in dublin next year so hopefully you might see him with that you know who knows maybe you'll do a bit of shadowbox on stage for yeah we might get in the stage you don't know yeah that's great um let's just for you let's go back to things who is going to end up getting the other one a better christmas present i don't know uh probably inspiring yourselves can i get a punch that's all we give each other for christmas will it be sparring on christmas day now after our fights we'll we'll take a week or two off you know for boxing we'll keep running keep our strength work up but after a fight we'll take a week or two off from just boxing and concentrating our fitness and our strength work and then in the new year get straight back into it straight back into the channel so guys this weekend on friday live this friday this friday channel five do you know the time happy to be along the road for to be honest yeah because i feel like they're sort of you you'd almost say unknown because obviously like dublin is such a bubble and they're up modern and then they're also in la so like i don't think like a lot of like followers would have really known them but like it's called the way if they come on our platform people will be more aware just go yeah 100 supporting the irish and then on top of that i do feel like in two or three fights time you know people then start to very much so take notes when they start competing for those european toilets or even if it's uk toils um one thing i always do think about them is because they are often late they're a bit off off the scene yeah well at the end of the time time difference as well time difference is massive but that talent will eventually shine through and those guys are in there and they're going for the kill every single time and that's fine is what people love to see yeah and like i i didn't mention it but i was like i i was planning on asking that i forgot but uh i like the way he did the irish boxing scene the way like um tiernan is training with him and then like dylan warren's training with them and it's just that they're all helping each other rise you know yeah all your horribles they don't need to fight each other in their career so they might as well help each other yeah they can learn new techniques and new training methods off each other so i like it it'd be funny if they needed them got opponents and then they had the fight [Laughter] i i somehow doubt seeing that happen yeah this weekend has a massive fight it's got one the the big i'm gonna call it the big two heavyweights now it's got aj it's got the other side of uh the toys and fury spinning on us uh auntie joshua's fighting pool out this weekend are you excited for her to be honest not really and i'll tell you why because everyone knows what we want to see joshua versus toys and fury everyone knows and now i know this is a mandatory challenge but like i was even watching sky sports boxing i had like um times for his dad there they're all discussing like who would win fury or joshua like that's the fight we want to see so like yeah i'm sort of like joshua get this done and then get that fight done next year because like i feel like next year is going to be massive not only for like it's just going to be massive like so many people are just going to be are going they're not sitting around now they're the borders sitting around this year has been very very paused and next year it's like i want to do this i want to do this so i think even our setups we're growing like very very fast and it's getting bigger and we're getting more excited now because now we're just really really really focused on the the combat scene like i think i think now that we sort of solidified exactly what we're doing obviously on the instagram we're pushing the ruby and the football but like i think now that we're like right we're slowly focused on the mma and the boxing it's like it has re-energized me you know and then we're getting these great guests on and it's just like we know the path for next year and also forgot to mention ross we're doing a massive competition i think it's next week for 200 euro cash boxing gloves pads energized hoodie energized t-shirt wraps i think that's it isn't it yeah i think i think well i think that's more than enough but yeah yeah more than enough uh yeah i'm not forgetting anything but uh that competition is going to be out next week we're just getting like we have all the stuff sorted we just need those energized hoodies now that i've seen them now i know the people who are listening to this now haven't seen yeah when i saw them i was like oh he's actually sort of cool isn't it yeah it's going to be i think next year it's just going to be massive for us as well like you know i can't i can't wait i can't wait i you know one thing that i do think is that with ufc bellator eddie herm pushing the box and frank warren pushing his boxing i feel that you have to bring your a a-game now you can't bring so sub-par content or some power fights because someone else put on a better fight somewhere else that's the thing you're competing for always ross that's the thing the way the ufc was cut was competing with the mike tyson fight like there's other options like for instance like i'll just let you know this week before like obviously we're going to get into everything this week but like uh on saturday the boxing's on ufc 256 is on like on the thursday bellator is on and the cage warriors is on as well like they're going to be competing i know it's actually crazy um i'm looking forward to it i think it's a weekend filled with sports to watch and i love when there's big fights on and yeah i know joshua is fighting pool out it's not the fire we're looking for but it's i feel like it's the final chess piece that needs to be played before we get twice in fury especially considering jillian white lost therefore like his mandatory is like pushed way back because yeah she's going to do a rematch with povetkin and this is like the final piece of the puzzle the final piece of the jigsaw until we get the biggest heavyweight [ __ ] fight potentially of all time if not definitely for the last decade yeah uh so we're both saying that joshua will win well hopefully like remember last time we were like he'll battle andy ruiz and then it was like what who knows i was in heavyweight boxing oh you think josh was already training for toys and fury so i think he'll be in the best shape of his career and we'll probably see the best anthony joshua we've ever seen come friday night this saturday yeah that's the saturday also there's so much less distractions i feel like for boxers covert has actually been almost a handy thing like all you're doing is focused on training like there is no going out and partying and socializing and like you're not going to these mad dinners that you're invited to or whatever else you mean all you're doing is putting the head down and trying to be the best version of yourself you can be which i think a lot of people who aren't professional boxers doing as well like we're trying to do something similar ourselves in our own life so i think anthony joshua will come out and be on fire this weekend i'm sure i'm hoping for a knockout but uh also a shout out to billy joe saunders who won over the weekend as well but ross we were talking about with the lads but we we should get a bit more into depth about this right there's videos going everywhere about jake paul calling out conor mcgregor okay um for people that don't know we obviously talked about earlier jay paul massive on youtube his brother logan paul massive on youtube logo fought ksi twice jay paul now he's after beating nate robinson there last week and he was on espn and espn mma and he was saying that he's 23. yeah well yeah yeah you watched the i was a great interview to be honest um he he wants to know he says he believes he'll fight conor mcgregor some stage his team are in talks with conor mcgregor's team jake paul saying he's one of the biggest draws in boxing right now and like that can't really be argued you know but uh russ jake paul he wants to fight conor mcgregor where where do you sort of see this going because like he is he's looking decent obviously i don't believe conor mcgregor is going to play him next obviously but there was a possibility he was going to fight ksi now dylan danis is there what do you think is the right chess move to make because if he fights ksi people sort of look at him again being like oh he's just doing the youtube thing but if he fights still and he's actually fighting proper uh mixed martial arts or combat athletes well i think if his end goal is to fight conor mcgregor i think one way of doing that is by fighting dylan dennis beating his teammate and i think that's definitely a great way because conor mcgregor's always will be on that fight so therefore if conor mcgregor is watching there's no better time to call him out and you know conor mcgregor he likes when people call him out and like he likes to respond to it so uh i think that fight will eventually happen jake paul versus conor mcgregor but i think it will do on conor mcgregor's terms um when it sees him best but like it's a massive payday for connor you know i mean like he he sees that and sure mcgregor could fight in january and then fight jake paul in february you know i mean like i'm not saying it will happen that soon but i'm saying mcgregor will control up any noise i beat jake paul in my opinion he's far too talented to destroy her so i just think he why not take a massive payday and fight jake paul i think the only thing about it is it won't be wouldn't want that in the next one back because they'll want to build it up for about three or four months yeah it's just so strange the entertainment scene and that's why i love covering mixed martial arts and boxing just combat sports in general because all this is so interesting to look and discuss you know it's almost like the build-up is the best part about all fights because but after it happens it's you know i mean it's like ready oh it's it's just so crazy i i think yeah i agree i think that like he's fighting dinos first because like dylan's done is just constantly chirping and like it'd be it'd just be interesting to see him fight jake paul because even aaron helwani was saying that like he thinks jay paul beat him so if that doesn't spark a fire under dances that's nothing really well would it i don't think so and i feel like dylan dallas is such a troll and all he's doing all the time i'd actually like to see him you've had what like two mma fights and talk to this he's like already the world champion so yeah i want to see him actually compete they're both jay paul and dundas they're both sort of i like the way they uh portray themselves you know so like it would be very very very very interesting you wonder like who would be on that card everything about it was very intriguing and it's just excitement and it's entertainment at the end of the day ross isn't it this is like what we want to see it's definitely entertaining one way or the other we just want to be with last night's ufc card this is sunday i know normally we record on monday but today we're recording on sunday assume that the the mckenna bros better so here we are and bringing you all our best content but last night we saw marvin victoria winning unanimous decision over our mate jacker manson buzz this was a great performance boy victoria he really got in there and he showed an aggressive style dropped her mansion on one stage and i scored it actually three rounds of two to the tory i think majority people actually scored a four rounds to one well look there was no controversy here over the decision but he's won and he's probably stupid claim as top five middleweight in the ufc yeah i don't know did you see that see after you call it pelo costa as well yeah i don't think marvin victoria is afraid of anyone and i also do think he gave abasanya the best voice of anyone so far in the ufc so who knows maybe he's one win away from a toilet shot which is madden to think considering if last week he was fighting i think jack ray susie yeah this week you know what i mean so yeah fair play to him yeah that's the just a crazy thing if you don't take these chances the dean as dean barry said last week he was like if you don't take these chances they they surprised you yeah you you oh man it's just such a crazy thing and look it also very very impressive and he was supposed to fight jack right in a three-round fight and he went out there and went five rounds against um jack mountain a top five ufc middleweight oh he was very impressed by it to be honest russ like i think we both agreed that we thought jack manson would give adasanya like a tough night just just how good he is getting people down and stuff but uh there's always like a little ball in there yeah that's the thing last thing is a totally different physique he's a totally different point and start it but this card was rid of the covet and from start to finish but uh we have to give a special shout out to the dollop is that without his name roman dollardsey yeah roman de lanza and we'll say i'm really enjoying watching these uh georgian fighters uh fight recently very impressive but uh we shared it on our instagram story him asking his coach halfway through the fight will you submit him i just thought it was very funny i was i was did you see the fight between jordan liavis versus matt wyman oh yeah he's called the monkey something that slam right do you want to do wanna explain what happened so jordan huh or what's called had wyman like over his shoulder and he sort of no no no it was he was he was like wrapped around well he was wrapped around but he was like over over the shoulder here and he one morning i think was going for a guillotine uh on him and he sort of walked him over a bit towards the uh cage and they just went and slammed them and next thing you know moyam is alcohol but when he actually slammed him he sort of forearmed them into the ground as well and it was in the first round wasn't it it was on the video i think it was the first 30 seconds 22 seconds yeah so like there you go it was an incredible feat it was quite a bizarre knockout boy he got 50 grand for his uh first performance of the night bonus it was very interesting he's undefeated as well that way that's in the lobby division ross have you ever seen a finish like that did well i have definitely seen finishes like that like for not that early on the fight and not that it was like such a strategic slam as well yeah sort of carried them over and then went and slammed them and figurado taking on brandon moreno in it for the flyweight title these two lads fought at uc 255 so there's a fast turnaround for both men uh devs and figaretto was an absolute what's he is soldier of god as well or the war machine something like that i think it's like hands down no i think it's something like something of god or well i'll look them up there now but um yeah this is actually the fastest turnaround ever for a fighter our champion and the contender to fight for a ufc belt and like you said these chances come around uh god of war that's resolved god of war these four these are basically basically nicknames i said just added together yeah these these um opportunities come around once in a blue moon and sometimes you just have to jump at them and both these guys jumped on them especially if you could someone like get devs in figured out you know he grew up in the slums of brazil and for him to actually i wouldn't even call someone it was like the back arsenal and but he made a big payday in his last fight and they were like hey would you like to make that exact same payday again a month later obviously he's gonna go yeah thanks no bother yeah although he does you see the thing is it i know it's a fast turnaround and we like to see that and that's great now like especially for notoriety and people talking about you more like for instance look at cosmet uh but um russia devs and figareto doesn't make the weight very easily and then we've seen with tony ferguson before he like cut down to make way when he was fighting against gaichi and then that like seriously depleted him do you think this this is actually a really good idea or what are you sort of thinking about that the way i look at it is i actually think figuerado forms very hard to make way when he has prolonged periods of time in between his fights i feel like because he made the way and then he he basically accepted the next fight on the night he didn't go off and have you know well i hope he didn't go off and have like two pizzas that night and then be like two pizzas yeah he knew he was like straight back on he knew he was straight back going into training camp as well so at least if if he didn't know about the floyd for another two weeks he might have ate like a pig for a week or two afterwards i'm sure a lot of fighters do but he knew as soon as he left that option that he was probably gonna fight again next month tony ferguson on the other hand his voice was canceled and he chose to make the way i think that's why people criticize him for that so ross are you going lightweight division charles olivia olivier has been about a tear recently tony ferguson's coming in after that loss to justin gaiji what are you sort of expecting here and do you think if tony ferguson wins he has an opportunity to fly through a lightweight title next year for me i actually think there could be an upset in the cards here or what is that or we like the role that charles oliveira is on at the moment and i feel like tony ferguson takes some massive risks in his fighting store i think against charles oliveira i don't think he can take those risks you know i mean like at certain stages um kevin lee had tony ferguson's back and therefore i think if you give your back to charles oliveira you might not get it back um he he's i think the most submissions in ufc history which you know says a lot i know tony ferguson's a black belt under eddie bravo i'm like that's incredible as well edgy bro but he he does do a lot of risks um if i had to pick a winner i'm gonna pick charles oliveira on this time i don't know where tony ferguson's at uh and he also i wasn't impressed during gaijinfoy didn't really have the ability to change it up when it wasn't going his way so i feel like charles oliveira is on the open up and who knows whether tony ferguson has a demon to go to war like that again also devastate this point isn't five rounds yeah i tony ferguson like in the kg fight he just seemed like he wasn't going to change the way he was fighting like i believe there is a plan b and plan c within him but i think he was like no i'm i'm going yeah i'm not i think he kevin holland was actually meant to fight just there yesterday and there was move to this card huge opportunity for kevin hall yeah massive uh opportunity from you know getting before you a perennial contender uh in the ufc middleweight division look i actually think this is going to be potentially a harder flight from than the romantic fight because i felt like hermansen would have actually kept him on the feet kept it on the feet for a while he would have exchanged i feel like jacqueline is going to want to take him down straight away yeah and try it try and submit him uh he is one of the best jiu jitsu black belts of all time although then again you know in the last sort of 10 fights jack wright's found in love with his hands he's he sells one or two knockouts and he loves that but i think jack right if i were jack for a idea what got me to the dance um i'd have kevin holland on the ground as soon as i could um i'd try and wrap up some sort of submission i don't think heaven holland can match him on the ground and he's already laughed twice by submission and if lost by submission going to fight jack right here i think that's a weakness that's going to be shown so you're going for i'm going to go jack already by submission i'd love to see heaven holland win but there's something about kevin holland he's uh very very interesting like like he's not even in is he even for us anyway well like i think well each night is building up towards this saturday because it's it's right before uc 256 so a lot of always be on this as well i'm going to be home on youtube maybe basketball because he's always doing those things for people he's a bit of a gentleman and there's been a few lads who've ever seen football jerseys over the last month that that father just had a bit of christmas cheer in their life well it wasn't even about christmas buzz is so good and then shout out to ross army you got engaged uh over i'm going to say the course of the week absolutely from
