they're actually just two of the funniest foyers I didn't want to segregate you into a women's category used to are the bees needs regardless of gender ladies obviously you have uh some big fights coming up Danny uh we'll start with yourself obviously the news broke there recently your son went and Victor how did that all come about and how happy are you to be with Invicta yeah yeah I'm delighted uh really happy um I knew I only had one fight left for Bellator so um my plan was to like fight that out and then to jump ship somewhere that had a division had a strawberry division because that was the big issue with better tourists they didn't have a division um so then September cards got full up so no space for me so then I asked to be released myself on my own Accords and um got the release and then was kind of a free agent then so my manager went about contacting um LFA kombucha and Invicta and whoever could match me first was uh who I was going to go with you know it was as simple as that so uh then Victor jumped on board quick and said they'd match me up for the 16th of November so I knew about that like a good few weeks in advance and then when I actually got an opponent tell you I knew it was real and I signed the contract with them then so we're ready to go in the new promotion against high level opponents with the division and you know with with a place to grow and really you know better tour have been great I can't say a bad word about them I made loads of money and they were really nice to me and they said they were very nice to me when I left so I can't say anything bad about Bellator just this other than fighting in Dublin uh February and September every year I couldn't see where else I was going to go from there yeah very we always say the same thing as in like look Bellator was always a massive event in Ireland everyone goes to it it's a great event for the Irish Fighters but again like there's obviously that frustration that we don't get to see the orange Fighters fight outside of February and September so uh your response want to travel as well I can definitely feel those frustrations for you so uh look you're no longer there and like you said you had a good time there you got to build your name recognition there as well not many fighters get to you know kick off their career there and and on that size platform and that have majority of their flights there to start off so uh look I'm looking forward to see where you go next and let's see Danny Neelam you know fighting in organizations where her weight class actually exists well there's a champion anyway yeah so um do they get divorced during the show if you're watching this which I'm sure you are please don't kick me in the leg cause uh you guys uh our masters of that as well especially he is anyway and uh then uh do you yourself obviously you sign with Kombat things are going really really well uh 2-0 in there at the moment three fight win streak and tell us this how does that go all about obviously they have a massive relationship with the quakonians they do yeah it seems to be uh yeah yeah after palihangling in so um yeah I was like struggling like really hard to get matched up here in Ireland and in the UK and even Europe I had like a lot of you know fights that I like you know people were looking for match-ups that flyweight and um I said yeah 100 and then you know I I was getting turned down or you know people were pulling out last minute like two weeks out from fight off um so it's getting a bit frustrating so um my manager is also from Cork his name's um Barry O'Call and he um had contacts in combati and John had a good relationship with him as well so between the two of them you know they they managed to get me in there um you know that we did up like a fight reel of like you know some of my old like my kickboxing fights um some of my last two uh before sorry combating my other two pro fights and uh some of my amateur ones and they were like yeah 100 Love Strikers inside there you know exciting fights um they so yeah it was great yeah so got signed and then it took them a while to match me even there and my my first matchup wasn't uh and he's gone either so I was up against uh Chantal Cole to had like been briefly in The Ultimate Fighter house so uh really strong um experienced opponent so uh yeah like that was another like thing in itself to get like a date because I was supposed to fly out at one stage fighting someone else and then that she got injured then Chantelle couldn't make 125 so I'd have to be at a cat wave and yeah but anyways yes but it's been interesting it's been a lot of experiences early in my career goes like for my second or sorry my third and fourth Pro fights um but yeah delighted to have gotten the win and like uh in a dominant sort of fashion so I'm happy yeah and then obviously the uh kombucha Global there I suppose a a new enough photo organization as well and they've started to release rankings and stuff like that and I think we've seen power ranked uh feather way I'm lightweight I'm not too sure I haven't I haven't personally seen women's rankings but is that something where you feel like um they need to catch up on get yourself high in the rankings and then also you know I know I know you're only four fights into your career but like that that organization is young enough for like would you be looking for a title shot soon enough maybe after this win so um yeah so they've released new rankings um someone has highlighted me uh and I'm ranked I think oh I want to say sixth or seventh or something um so they've eventually well observed yeah I when they didn't have me ranked before but I kind of understood because I was like well I haven't thought I'd fly away so you know it's been this 130 pound like limbo for the last one so um yes I'm ranked number six I'm happy enough for that and I'm fighting the number one ranked opponent so like I was pushing for this fight to be for the title because you know you're putting me up against the number one like why not but um 100 you know uh March next year I get through Marissa next week and it'll be you know I'll be fighting for the title is the promo ready yeah no no like and you know they um take a break from November till March and like I'll happily you know for a five round fight I'll happily take that time and you know get ready for that title fight you know I'm getting I I'm focused fully focused on next week but like you know you're obviously always like you know I know people say oh I'm not thinking ahead footballers do because you get carried away with yourself but yeah um that's that's the plan that's where where I'm kind of visioning being next year could be another SPG Ireland belt uh the the guys haven't got there yet like they've got belts and maybe all the top organizations like kombucha everyone hasn't happened yet and debate you could bring that home exactly then you put a little Irish flag on the Belt though it's not there yet but you could be the one to do it and that's why people tuning in now you have to make sure to check out Danny McCormick's vote on the Victor 50 this Wednesday and then D is fighting gold but this Friday so make sure to get onto your Instagrams and follow them to check out their fights on fight week also shout out to Stephen Castle fighting on Centurion on Wednesday Ross absolutely um Danny one thing I wanted to touch on obviously uh your your sign went in Victor now um Sean o'banon was also Simon and Victor there recently she went 1-0 and there was rumors that uh you guys were maybe gonna face off uh cage actually did that ever get close to happen yeah well rumors versus reality are definitely different things so I think Deco gets excited and if you think something's gonna happen himself he tries his very best to make make it happen so technically McKenna had me on speed dial and was handing me hounded me for a few days but um you know this was right right in the middle of Invicta after telling me you're fighting on the 16th we're trying to get you an opponent so I wasn't going signing anything with Declan McKenna that was going to stop that from happening I didn't have an opponent on paper but I had a multifide deal and a date so I made it very clear from the start I wasn't available but regardless of me saying that something else was obviously translated because it took legs for like three days or something and I had to just keep shutting it down I was getting messages and God it was a never-ending but um you know I'm I'm after coming off Bellator I'm after having seven fights Sean is very new to her career I have a huge opportunity here with Invicta I'm the reserve on the night for the strawberry title fight for the strawberry tournament so imagine on Wednesday I win my fights and one of the girls gets injured in the first part of the tournament I'm thrown in there straight away for the belt so that that's a big deal for me and that's a huge opportunity so cage Legacy and fighting Sean about in December was never going to happen it will eventually happen I'm sure the same way Sinead and Leah happened but let's do it on a big stage let's make loads of money and let it be for something big like an Invicta World title a UFC World title A Bellator World title I'm not on Declan McKenna here Dex doing unreal work on the regional scene but I have this big opportunity and I'd be silly to to say no uh to to go to the Red Cow in December or wherever it is no absolutely Daniel what's called that I had to ask you about it because I I hadn't gotten your take on it and uh I I actually can't remember if I reach out to you or not I feel like I I didn't I was like I was like I actually I think I was talking deck and I was like let us know if Daddy says yes because uh I'm not asking her I'm like yeah I don't I didn't want you to be like right here's another person trying to pressure me into a fight where I have this other deal on the side and like obviously the Invicta deal is massive for herself and I think me and Barry were only talking about it last night that with the Invictus Railway tournament obviously there's going to be a semi-final a final and a winner but there always has to be an outside horse who is basically doing the graft on the outside of a tournament as well to then fight the eventual winner of the tournament so I always say when there is a tournament there there's also another tournament somewhere in the background where someone's putting their hand up who wasn't in the tournament and they're gonna pick up two or three wins and then they're gonna be like number one Contender over here so uh that is definitely something is very interesting and it's great to hear that you are the next woman up in the tournament yeah well it there's me my opponent and there's one other Reserve fight as well so the four extra girls on top of the tournament we all have got big records we've loads of experience and I'm going to be saying exactly what you say what you've just said on Wednesday when I get my hand raised I'm gonna say I was reserved for the tournament if I don't get to jump in tonight whoever is the winner I'm ready to rock and roll so the girls that they signed for this particular show including myself we're the girls that are in the running for that title you know for the first Contender fights so um you know I'm in a really good position right now being on that card as it is so yeah I'm I'm super excited and a small apartment dreams that something is gonna happen and something's gonna happen to one of those girls and they're gonna to go hey you gotta jump in now and I love that  you know if that happens like I swear to God you'll never see a fight like it because that that's what you know we get up in the morning for for Rocky like that well that's it you know I mean that's that's what we'd love to see here so hopefully uh you'll get the look of the Irish and that things will fall into your lap Danny because uh yeah hopefully some breaks break the force or a hand you know that would be great something like that if you can be completely maybe just like or something a stomach bug or something like that and has to play out the fight like that might be enough like you know because it's almost bulky you can get over very fast oh oh more mean like you know maybe at weigh-ins you know just like little stomach bug and there you go you're in there like swimwear yeah yeah no I I want I want some an x-ray I want a solid break that's what I've been praying for eign [Music] that's it that's it and uh tell us this obviously uh you know you you both have voice at the same time does that really help your preparation in the gym yeah definitely like you know when someone has a fight coming up you do your best to be present for them and like give them high grounds and stuff but when you both have a fight coming up it's even better so like whenever we're grappling or striking or whatever it is in the gym I know D's up first I'm up first and we're gonna go a hundred percent to get the most we can out of the round if uh someone else you're getting somebody else they might have just come off a fight they mightn't be feeling it they don't have a fight for a few weeks so when you've got someone that's lining up exactly the way we are like the exact same week you know we're we've been pushing each other for the last seven eight weeks and it's it's class like I'm so excited for her fight she's excite for me I know and so yeah that's what I say about that yeah no it's great and like especially I think you know some days during camp like you know you're calories might be lower and you're not feeling the best so it's nice to have someone else you know is coming into the gym in the same position and like that like kind of is able to lift your mood or like you know when doing the same for them so like yeah no it's it's great like to have you know Danny getting ready and just even talking about like oh like when you flying out like what story like chatting to like things you know really nice he'll be uh flowing over which is healthy and Danny who be flying over it yourself uh Danny do you go first please yeah Dave roach is coming over at me so uh this girl is a bit more technical than my last two opponents so it's great to have uh one of the coaches over me this time I have Alan coming with me and um I only get one corner I'm sure D gets one corner as well I'd say so um John can come Karen Daven can come so I'm getting a guy from elevation play Team um a jiu jitsu black belt to step in the corner he um a friend of mine gave me like his recommendation so it's saving me about 1500 Euro um getting in then flying someone over to Denver so um that's that's working out for me the last girl Fatima was like a you know Jiu Jitsu specialist so I was gonna put my hand in my pocket and and bring somebody but this girl is more kind of a you know all-rounder she's not dangerous in any particular area so I'm pretty sure Alan will be grand and this guy from elevation has helped me in any tricky situation I suppose you could say no one knows you're better than than our album that's it yeah I know he's he's going to be disappointed if uh I don't get some sort of strike and stop it you know that's that's his you know that he's going to be the main corner I know he's not going to be shouting for double legs anyway that's for sure manipulate this he hasn't put that uh that uh Relentless um work ethic into you for nothing you know that's it that's it yeah I I get loads of brownie points if I got a head kick knockout so we'll have our fingers crossed geez you won't even get a second honeymoon over over in Denver [Laughter] so just for the people tuning in now Danny can you tell us how you were gonna get the win on Friday the sorry excuse me I'm gonna mess with this uh how do you get to win on Friday the 16th of November in the real world super Colorado on Wednesday the 16th of November I am going to get a I am going to take her down pin her down and punch her in the face until she shows her neck and she gets choked out but she doesn't want to be choked out then she's going to get stopped with lunches and that's what's going to happen jeez and the divorce papers to be in the post after that that's absolutely ruthless figuring that one Andy how did you get the job done on Friday December the 18th in the media Pro studios Miami um for me I think uh the girl I'm fighting she's quite like you know tough doesn't go away easily but um I'd like to think especially like you know third round she's gonna be tired face gonna be all bashed up like TKO punches round three there we have it okay yes I want to be vicious a lot of Edibles a lot of needs configuration you're better yeah story uh today uh it's kind of you know feature of how how it might look [Music] or something last time so hopefully we'll be able to watch live this time so um it'll definitely be aired so 100 brilliant and Danny I remember I think Australian blast Victor photo watched on YouTube on the before that was on Access TV so hopefully yeah I'm sure I'm sure you'll you'll share some sort of uh way to view uh leading up to the fight yeah I'm pretty sure it's on YouTube which is great so that means it's free it's on in the middle of the night so set your alarm clocks no well I'm gonna say I'm going to be very sensitive and say you don't have to set your alarm clock get your good night's sleep don't miss don't miss your night's sleep and wake up in the morning don't look at Instagram but on YouTube and enjoy yourself and I'm gonna say the absolute opposite make sure you stay up all night to make sure you watch both girls for you because uh you're missing out otherwise and if you're not realize person if you're not doing that so there you have it I'll I'll be the bad guy
