obviously they're backing you do do you feel the love from them I do I do they're they're not they're very good um I'm happy where I'm at this is my last fight with lfl I'll be honest I'm not 100% sure what's next me Pat and Shand we haven't really spoke about it um fully yet mbody have been busy with Paul and stuff so I'll have to speak to Lads see what's going to happen after this one but hey them first two fights lfl I've seen I feel like I've came on Leaps and Bounds since the first fight to the second fight and now the third fight and that's exactly what I want at this stage of my pro career and plus it spil my brown got a good finish in the last one so no I'm really happy really happy with it and ter with that obviously the first finish was great it was great to get the finish in the in the Pro debut and then the second finish was unbelievable and a lovely head kick on the way there how can you top that two head kicks I know I don't know nice ALB maybe a kick on the other side then they not know where it's coming from I I wouldn't really it out I wouldn't really out uh I don't know hey I'm just win I'm just going to win this on it I was supposed to fight I was supposed to fight uh a different boy I can't can't remember his name Steven Steven Jes he pulled out and now I've got yander BV who is a much tougher test don't get me wrong I need to be beating him he's no world beer but he's better than the than the guy I was supposed to fight the original guy so uh no I'm going to be switched on this Sunday it's a it's a tough fight yeah it absolutely is a tough fight and look you're early on in your career and you're taking the right progression steps and that's what we like to see um I I know you said it's your last fight with lfl but if they come back to the table is that something you're open to absolutely I open to anything like a um I want to hit I want to hit that cage War SC I do although you know as lfl like they had a gay there though I think they have two gays now saying to the UFC I think they their heavyweight fell Portuguese fell fight on Contender Series win I can't remember his name I fought in the same I think his name is is it Pinto you're right I Pinto I um yeah so he get signed UFC look I'll I'll speak to Pat and Chando I'm I'm honestly I'm not sure uh we'll take it as it comes I'll get this one on the road that'll be four training camps this year we're supposed to fight in February that fell through on fight week then we went in April then we went again in August and now we're going in thing so uh October so I'll get this out of the road call it a good year and we'll see what happens lfl are definitely watching this and they're like we have to sign this guy up tan what you want let them know right now what you want to do I want to get to the UFC I want to I want to Pro I want to be the best fighter in the world that's what I want and if lfl can offer me a contract to get me straight to the UFC show me a path that's all I want boys talk money talk everything they got that that's good that's important yes but if you show me a clear path to the UFC you might have me you know what I mean there'd be a huge loss for lfl to let you go and there's also other F Academy around last that would be great on the promotion as well wouldn't it be Ross yeah absolutely I saw James Hughes fought last time out you did on the amateur scene I wouldn't say it be a hell of a long time till we see James hes turning pro there other ones like Damen mcgan I'm sure even though he's he's only a pup he's only what 19 20 or so H we'll probably see him turning pro as well soon so look it's great to have a promotion like lfl with the Irish fighters on and like we said to you last time turn it's nice that like you know there there isn't that many yet so therefore when you are on the card all the Irish always are on you definitely you know what it was they actually had a 66 kg amateur they were looking on replacement and I sent about the whole gym I was like somebody tiet by what an experience but they're all most people are on ke conflict the next week um and then a couple other guys uh couldn't do it so I'm going to be on my own but hey traveling alone no no better man for the job yeah if if there's any promotions watching and listening right now looking to get tning you have to make sure they tuning in to cage conflict 14 and Clan Wars 50 both going down on Saturday the second of November it's going to be absolutely stacked with our town future stars as well ABS absolutely with that um will kayin be traveling over with you to Amsterdam yeah yeah he's coming kin's coming on the Friday he's going to meet me there and then Pat is coming again on the Sunday it's just K's going to help me cut the we you know what is the fights at 68 kilo don't get me wrong wrong it's still a weight cut it's actually the I would generally say it's the perfect weight for me 70 I don't think I'm 155 145 is tight there's no point Ling it gets tight towards the end so that way in between catch weight is H is perfect so K's going to give me a hand comeing to cut the weight and then Pat's gonna meet us on the Sunday the same as last time worked out well Happy Days well look it's a win and formula so let's not let's not change it let's not change it it's not a bad Corner team it's not a b Corner sorry Pat mallister then some fell who does the UFC H tell us this obviously we saw you were over in Vegas with Kalen for a while H how long were you there for and whereabouts were you training we were there for 10 days um we done we done most of the training in extreme Couture we went there on day one we were we were we were looking at a few different gyms we were obviously in the PA which is high level G there but then we went to extreme Couture and we done the first day and [ __ ] me the mod was just it was so high level and then they were so good to us Eric Nix the the head coach he was so good us the way like L Us train all so we ended up just staying there most of the time wenten there about four or five days and then we don't done a lot of training in the PA train my guys like gbr and H some of them not alpha male G but some of them uh G from Bo Vegas it was a it was class and and tell us this who was the best body that you got got have a bit of rounds with bark Halen of course said something else there was a few guys py Mi although ke done ke and P were doing loads of rounds together because two high level B supp P in the UFC G and he's like I get a week with him py was high level um I Spar Julian Rosa UFC feather that was that was a great experience um the highest level I'm not sure there there was so many names like there was we guys you don't even there was guys don't even know that were they you would they would Spar me and I'd be like [ __ ] he was good like what are you like oh four and0 was a D1 All American wrestling like [ __ ] me he was good so like H yeah sometimes the guys you don't know those big GS and I suppose I suppose with that as well it's good to test yourself against new bodies new looks new skill sets at all times it really does bring yourself on as a fighter oh 100% that like that's a good example like we done five fives in we done five fives in h extreme and the boy goes just one more but I swear to God I pushed myself this I'm GNA prove myself in this gym today done five5 [ __ ] who's not GNA be tired he PS five5 you're gonna be [ __ ] tired and the boy goes all right one more if you want he said one more if you want and I goes I'll do one more I'm not going to come here and T out so don't one more around and there was a there was this Brazilian guy sitting in the corner with a headgear on um he was sitting in the corner and uh I was like I'll go with him most I don't know may not be that good didn't even think that was like I'll just I'll go with him it'll do all right ended up going with this guy turned out to be a we had a [ __ ] scrap like an absolute war in front of Strickland all the whole gym it was H it was absolutely leth there you go another guy you don't know like and then strickling came and he started like he actually got his respect but he started like coaching me in the cage and stuff it was uh it was Lethal do you like Strickland he's all right he was all right like small deces know it is he's a he's a big gay hey when he took me into KY wasn't sure what was goingon to happen this G he's not just he would kick the absolute [ __ ] out of me like he is literally massive but uh no he he was good he was good just like he was good just uh tan I have to ask you here right we put a question out there during the week to see who would people like to see kin fight next the choices were Cameron Simon kyung H Kang ramont tarez and Fernie Garcia who would you most like to see K Point next out M4 H I would like uh what do you call them the South African Cameron Simon I'd like Cameron Simon that would be a good one it's high profile but then like maybe maybe ke just needs a we fight behind the I don't know yeah Cameron say be a good one he's done the camp for tarez yeah I see the tarez fight because I feel like he's been screwed over twice but last minute and he won't use that as an excuse but like it's totally totally different ball game and I think Tavarez he talk the talk but then didn't walk the walk so I want to see that fight 45% of people voted Ramon tarez there we go I'd watch it I'd watch it hey whoever it is he uh it's a big fight for him and I'm sure he'll be ready so if it's tarz it's Darez he has he has to be beating him so yeah it would make sense speaking of high level Fighters what a went for Paul Hughes over the weekend here him unbelievable unbelievable uh it wasn't a shock it wasn't a shock to the gym I was watching mck and I obviously know what Paul's like and I just say that common like don't get me wrong I was actually we were I was working security the night of the fight and then we all watched together when Paul knocked him down the first round not that I was surprised but [ __ ] me the place was bouncing it was like one of those like I don't know shock knockdowns but uh no when I was watching mck all week I was thinking I think Paul I think Paul does him and he did the uh the split decision was mental I thought yeah I I I I had a two to one for Paul I thought that was that was quite clear I I thought like obviously M was like Sav by the Bell in the first which was insane to see it's more I think looking should the ref have been better there no I don't think so I I think I think M was intelligently defending himself he he sort of grabbed the single hell on for de life and like R out the round Paul kind like did Paul can of hold back in the shots I think Paul heard the claer and he thought I don't want to gas myself out hitting or l 10 shots here and it's like a guy AED M he's 23 and one like the refere is going to give him every chance it would have took a big it would have took him to be out cold to put away in that 10 seconds so I think Paul done the right thing yeah he wasn't in a great range to continue to show shots because he was sort of bodyto body you know what I mean like how much torque was he gonna get in the mdle me but uh and I seen like Paul every time mcke did get the body lock Paul is normally throwing them shots hitting you really and he was doing that but he was H he was very switched onto the body lock is like not that he was scared of getting tu at all but he probably knew that's mck's only chance to win Paul had him on the fet so he was even on those single leg positions he was kind of just like all right control this position make sure he and then we'll get back up and do what he does tan would you say the biggest fight pfl and Bellator can make right now is Paul Hughes against nuraga medov I would say so don't get me wrong I don't really know the I don't know the middleweight pfl division that well or the the heavyweight like could be somebody there from G but jeez there's been some talks this week about Paul andman and marov you know what is I think I think Paul beats him I think it's I think it's the similar fight like he's probably he probably is better than mcke but like would you have said that before the fight him and AJ mcke got matched up it was probably a 50-50 match up well Paul was the underdog in The Bookies you know what I mean going into the fight you not go favor for while now the last before seven four and then he came in a bit um he stay Underdog yeah I think I think I saw Paul I think the shter saw was seven to five and even at that like nothing against but I was surprised that because I thought like with the American lines and stuff like that that mck would have been even more of a heavier favor because I'm sure the American audience are like I've heard of this Paulo but like surely he's not as good as AJ mcke like that would be probably the narrative from the American side of things and then like obviously he you know I mean I suppose we've seen Paul go in there against the lik of Jordan venic and like the last one against few few CH was absolutely Sensational we've seen him in there against charier like he he just proved that he is at that Elite level I suppose it's one of those ones where you know we don't get to see him in the gym and see him like constantly make those massive leaps the way you would turn and like at the end of the day like I I believe Paul use could be any lightweight in the world after seen that performance like that that was just an absolute Sensational performance and like you throw Paul Us in there against some of the top UFC guys and like you know mean Paul us is has more chance to win any of those fights anyone like he looks so well rounded and I think what made it even more impressive is I think there was moments in the Bobby King fight that like maybe he wasn't as on point as he would normally be and that probably created a few more doubters which made the AJ mcke win even better there also two different fights like Paul was going in and like sort of had to clean out Bobby King and this one he was the underdog so I think it probably sued him a bit more being the underdog because he has something to prove because he was a bit he sort of rushed the Bobby King one and then got dropped first time his career I'd say the underdog as well first time his career he was the underdog I'd say I know I heard that I I think people look at Paul and they they don't see all the work he's doing over in h kill Cliff as well I think they're just like oh he just fights North Pole like I mean he's so well-rounded and like the way he went trending as well after I I think like the and the way AJ mck is the pfl Bellator like poster child where he just went in made him look second best and uh now he's the guy yeah do you know what it is do you know what it is about him like put everything aside like his skill base and everything he hits so [ __ ] hard look at the Jordan two fight and even like even look at the Shier fight and then all then his last three fights he Lally hits people and they so like if you he he's so technically good and he's so skilled but like he hits like a [ __ ] truck so he has literally a chance against anybody because you're scared of that the power he has do do you think he do you think he he Main Events now like over in the next R season even though it seems like it's re out season every week I would say so that of like even the of like I I would definitely think so khib shared the post he was sitting beside Paul blew up this weekend he was sitting beside Ronaldo after the fight ronal sorry sorry sorry Ronaldo was sitting next to Paul after the fight yeah that's true yeah he happened to get a photo of Paul yeah he blew up this weekend I think I think he's the new face you want call the face of the lfl the new Buy in the lfl I think P certainly back at this part of the world yeah pfl atour and lfl whatever whatever it is Paul Paul ues was the biggest winner of the weekend in May this week he really was that includes cyborg who picked up yeah another belt if if that belt counts because it's a bit of a strange and then uh even with inano like obviously Inu getting the win doing for one was like obviously very emotional like who doesn't love seeing in Gan back but for me Paul Hughes went in there uh made a statement uh no one stuck Rose as much as Paul use did this weekend it was absolutely incredible to see um the biggest win outside of Conor McGregor H in Irish MMA history in my opinion yeah yeah that's very fight apart from con definitely I thought it was it was absolutely massive and the way Don again the split decision is metal so the way Don is H un and well deserved nobody nobody deserves it more like the other two biggest vo I would say are probably Peter quy against Patrick pull and in Gary versus MVP they're the other ones that sort of stick out outside Conor mger fights that are big n and May and me what about te and luck around this weekend te and luck around this weekend Jesus taking on the short notice animals ra Raman yander [ __ ] nobody gives me a chance Place nobody we also have to give a shout out to the only Jerry bur's getting the win over the weekend here did was a b but J can make flid as a FL I don't know that but I honestly see that man being a problem for anyone on the planet at the minute he is he's called the animal for a reason how many found out wants it I think he was there on his opponent's back trying to sink in the r tooke thrown a few shots for the last 30 seconds calling out M saying tell telling them he want it so like no better way to get it and like that fight's bigger than the belt as well even though there is no Floy way Champion but like that that fight's bigger than the belt and if that's a fight to make might well make for the belt and five rounds why not like definitely if if you're like realistically Mev is Braves like Crown Jill like he's he's their their biggest fighter they have at the moment so they might as well put him in and Sh look if people are doing Dagan versus arand if that's gonna be a thing why not do Jed Burns versus Muhammad MV [ __ ] right that'll be deadly and sure hey if Jed beats MV he's beat top 10 m was top 10 UFC maybe five that one yeah he should he would have been fighting for a title at this stage Your Man after minut Asaka Asaka yeah UFC for the first time like I think ever have just like got I think a has going to fight for the belt next it's like b i SE that's so I have no idea who that gu is very weird yeah I've never seen UFC just like Usher someone in be like by the way like touch on like the overall thoughts from the card this is sort of my sentiment like uh I felt like that fight after Paul had no reason to be there I know we said it before but I thought that was very very strange and I thought they could have pushed Paul H another fight up the card H could have went like Paul H then the Evelyn Edwards fight then sorg PCO and then Ferrera versus ganu um thought obviously for me like it was like see Paul Paul Hughes was like my number one interest then and ghu then probably a toy between soy Borg and the adwards fight yeah well when I put the Paul out during the week ask him which fight were people most interested in like Paul was the overwhelming favorite and then in Gan second yeah but like no surprise there being like the Irish media H Giants that we are just because it's batt of the Giants just because it's Battle of the Giants GI are you saying the people were biased in v no never never but um yeah so look Paul you AJ mcke you know I suppose the question was was it too much from him and it absolutely wasn't he absolutely thriv in that situation he said he was going to thrive and it was one of those ones where you know I was looking at him he looked like he had conviction in what he was saying and it looked like he believed in what he was saying but like there's always that like I think it was like the only way I could describe it is when McGregor was fighting Alo it's like I don't know like can he beat someone this good I think it's he almost like underestimate the Irish person you you know what I mean like you don't it's hard to stand back and look at their skill set and go that guy is incredible sometimes like you're willing them to win but you're like I know AJ M ke like I've seen him do some pretty incredible things he's been the Bellator world champion so like can Paul be him I don't know if he can and then obviously he just went out and did it like and he did it in emphatic style and you know he was the one who was close to finishing the fight and he landed the bigger shots um he went out there and I suppose he was dominant really and I Know M got got got the second round in there but like Paul was never really in any trouble in there so it was incredible to see and then like you know Ronaldo as with the selfie afterwards and he said he do it and then even his posto press conference when he was when he was calling M magam off um when he was saying dagistan versus uh versus Ireland and then he was saying like you know he could have McGregor in his corner and kabib the like I feel like he didn't put a foot wrong to be honest see the thing is Paul is very much the new era of fer he cerebral yeah he know he knows where the cameras are he knows what to say the right things to say he's very tactical in what he says like um like obviously going out and getting the selfie with Ronaldo after uh calling saying that Connor should be in his Corner knowing that that'll go mad v as well like I mean like Paul is very toxical what he goes uh inside and outside of the cage and then look what happens there like he believed himself he believed he conceived and he achieved you better believe it Michael bising watch out a new go in town and then uh him against n magov next like I don't know where they're going to put that you know what the funny thing is it's funny to think that we've watched in Gary's rise in the UFC and obviously like if people have been watching us for a long time you'll know that we had use and inan garion at the same time and yes they are very good friends but there was this friendly rivalry between the two of them like who'd get where first he was better looking they said as well yeah he was better looking he was going to get to the top first yeah and it looked like Ian and Paul had almost like separated leagues in a way as in you know I mean Ian Gary was winning time after time again in the UFC Paul Hughes was struggling to get him a fight on cage Warriors constantly the question was asked would he be signed to the UFC or not then he went to the pfl he was booked against Bobby King and you know we probably had a discussion off there been like oh they doing a slow bill with Paul he's calling for the big fights but will they give them to him you know I mean they're after invest a lot of money into him and then all of a sudden Saudi Arabia and he's fighting AJ mcke one of the biggest stars Bor pfl have one of the best fighters they have by a long way like pound-for-pound EAS the top five for the company and then Paul goes in there and he wins and he's fighting for a belt next so it looks like there's a high chance Paul Hughes will become Bellator world champion before Ian Gary gets a five of the UFC title so it looks like Paul Hughes has uh come around the outside and overlapped uh what inar is doing not that either man would uh hold the other one any uh any Venom between the two of them the two of them I'm sure are still very good friends uh as you saw when the the two of them and Connor were hanging out in the black Forge together but it's great to see and the talent that came from cage Warriors almost like a golden generation H in themselves between the two of them are now going on to and they are like their trajectory is only towards towards World titles two of the best that the world have to offer both coming from this lovely little island in Europe the F and Irish are alive and well yeah it's a world class friendly rivalry absolutely absolutely and look they're obviously they're never going to fight each other they're not in the same way class although I never thought they'd be so close in way either well there there was actually no comparison with Paul's win to compare to any of Ian's wins on how voal the sharing and uh the support was like that was so noticeable absolutely he was I think he was trended number one in Ireland at one stage Paul so on on the L Twitter machine so like yeah there we have it like Paul 's that was your Anno you sto the show and you deserve all the plot us and all the credit you get yeah um as we were saying we want to see Paul against mag mov next H what do you do with Francis and G yeah this is a bit of a strange one because I was looking at the rest of the heavyweight Division bellor and pfl and I don't really see someone there for him per se um so I honestly don't know what they're going to do with g next do you think you can go back to boxing I hope not because like seeing in MMA I felt it was that bit more exciting for those two or three minutes than it was the whole time he was boxing for me um I love watching fight MMA and I hope we do get to see him again you know in the in the pfl smart cage and see what he can do I like I don't know what they're going to do to get an oppon for him like obviously very emotional time for him with the L of the one you know the the um smart cage was actually packed afterwards like a boxing ring the amount of people I've never seen so many people in the cage uh for for someone's Victory so um it'll be interesting to see what they do but maybe they need to create a bit of spark between one or two other heavy weights to you know get him 10 for him because at the moment I don't know who's next and I don't think the way that fight went made pfl look that great because obviously they had Ferrera Beat Ryan Bader who was the Bellator Champion and then foran to dispatch him so fast just makes it look like the UFC caliber Talent is so far ahead of pfl and uh Bellator they'd love to get Fedor in there wouldn't they um also you I have to give a massive shout out to Chris iberg against Lissa PCO that was actually like that showed women's MMA in a whole new light over there as well and that was an abute dog fight that was that was yeah that was like that was a dog fight that like that was that was that was quality and then um also I thought it was interesting and just goes show like the battle hardness of Chris cyborg that I thought she handly won the fight but like she looked the worst for where but like I mean like how many fights she had you know think I think tury profiles now 28 and two one of the best ever do no doubt about it and then shout out to Johnny eblin defeating Fabian Edwards again uh just a couple of things in the buildup to that event Ross as well one thing pfl and Bellator are just sort of making confusing is the way like it was a pfl event but all week the fers were ell for outfits and stuff and like when you're trying to explain to people this that and the other it's like would they not just wear the pfl gear that week yeah it it is it is very very strange um I saw Paul you facing off AJ mcke wearing Bellator Tru even though he signed to fight in the pfl um didn't really make sense it was a pfl event proba was a pfl fighter didn't really get it maybe they that was the only tracksuit he had so he wore that but I think that was on pfl to get him another track here uh you know what I mean like that that photo is going to be seen by an awful lot of people those videos those interactions are going to see be seen by a lot of people so even the even the fight kit he had was a Bellator Fight kit and um so it's it's more like did he fight in Bellator that one or pfl on that one I don't really know but look they need to decide they need to decide who they are what they're going with going forward and go with it you know just go with it yeah make your mind up I I think they've they've defun the Bor website I was trying to go on the Bor website uh yesterday and bellator.com doesn't seem to exist anymore yeah yeah it diverts and they got rid of bellor is I think Bellator Europe's Instagram page and get the bfl or something okay uh yeah Okay Ross this weekend huge event for UFC fans UFC three away elot Tor taking a Max all the way I know we slightly discussed there with tan lran the one and only but uh what do you make of this fight and are you excited for it yeah this is one of the fights I'm M looking forward to this year I think in terms of caliber of martial arts and exciting fight and STS I don't think you can get me much more excited for a fight if you were to put every single lot like if you put this fight title fight up against all the other title fights and the ones that are booked or the ones that just went by this is probably my favorite of them all I think Max Holloway after knock now H Justin gagei in what could have been a fight of the year and my opinion knock out of the Year performance at UFC 300 I think that guy is the BMF and couldn't think any higher of him and then he's going against someone here who like also could actually become I know a lot of people are saying Alex Pere definitely F of the Year guaranteed but the winner of this fight has good contention to say it should be them you know what I mean Holloway will be picking up a second belt uh he'd have a knockout win over gaii and then a win over iot Poria and if IL wins he has a knockout win over Alexander volkanovski and then he'd have a win over Max Holloway like you know I mean if you taking terms of calor opponents whoever wins this fight is definitely beaten the highest level of competition this year and anyway class and this fight H this fight is one that fans will not want to miss yeah she'll be on a good time as well for the Europe this this one that was on a 5 a.m. you'd stay up to 5 a.m. to watch sick of staying up to 5 a.m. man geez and he's some beauty sleep here H the poll so far saying who are people team Elia Toria or Team Max Holloway right now it's 29% elot Toria 71% Max ol there's a lot of loyalty to Max ol there Ross yeah you better believe it too right yeah uh I'm for I'm I'm going winning at the cage MMA H Dominic norcas and Craig mcgr Ross you put out a clip of Craig mccon after yeah I did H Craig mccon he was uh dedicating the win to uh Evan dor tragically uh a teammate of his who uh lost his battle to cancer um Craig on it that like you know even at even as his funeral his dad said how he wanted to be a fighter and that win was for him uh I'm sure Dom norcas would have done something similar um just I feel like the mic time was sort of different for him but um look obviously really really sad times for team KF but uh I'm sure if Evan is is the the teammate and gym member that he was described to be um he he would love to seeing both Lads get their hand raised that weekend and uh very sorry to hear uh for your loss team KF um yeah nice touch and weight to pay tribute to him yeah I here to that and then as we were saying as well ttin loock Grant is back this Sunday on NFL like this guy is definitely want to watch as we said he K's brother comes out finishes people lfl are going to definitely give him a brand new contract I'm sure cage Warriers are going to be all over him pfl Bellator um who knows who else Brave potentially as well and then uh shout out
