[Music] [Applause] [Music] [Applause] okay what's going on guys and welcome to a brand new episode of energized ross introduce the guest man we have one of ireland's greatest strikers the greatest striker from ireland over in dubois it's craig coco coakley craig how are you doing and how was life in dubois all good lads there life and the boy is absolutely amazing uh so it's a foreign life out here really is uh trying something else some of the bodies that we're getting the milk out here is something else it must be and how long have you been there craig and what was like the climatization factor because obviously it's it's a big dry heat over in the desert over there yeah uh so we'll be here 16 days all together i bought him here in nearly two weeks i think it is two weeks now yeah climato toys coin day we've been in thailand so we've been used to destroy heat it's a it's a little bit more humid here than thailand but uh i think there's a little bit of mexican in me or something like that as you can craig obviously you're fighting this friday uh again dennis from turkey against dennis and turkey between three and five we're gonna have for the people that want to tune in you supposed to fly on victory promotions a couple of weeks ago against a lad called nico carrillo nego ended up getting injured so he says uh and he was actually supposed to fight this is supposed to be his foot so we uh texted promotion we were texting the the guys there are muay thai as well uh jason woodham he is the uh i don't know how pronounceable he he he sorts out the international foyers anyways so we are texting him and that [ __ ] was still supposed to be fine and then last minute he kind of says oh well behind it is a little bit more so we have the little sword a little [ __ ] he's hugged called the doctors i called er yeah the doctor told him to take the next few weeks off so we got the fight instead and then now here's the boy nego's ball we ended up tagging him so nico was originally supposed to fight you and then nego got injured and then nico was originally supposed to fight dennis from turkey but now you're avoiding dennis from turkey yeah yeah and like once you got that call were you just like right collie get pack your pack the bags bud we're going yeah we're gone john joe was one through us the whole time john john mitchell was like mom boys just have to get over here no oh sure shout out to uh john mitchell what a win at the weekend is that a bit was that give you a bit of an inspiration for indeed the business saying the way he done it as well there what now to elbow dca and he put an elbow clinic on was on the ground but it's still an elbow clinic yeah it really really was your man was forced to open and it was you know what it was very very one-sided he's like the irish khabib over there he was now yeah he was in chimney over them yeah he actually did i actually texted him and i meant smash it was a very good win for john uh the referee probably should have stopped that a little bit earlier it was a bad album yeah where he was and his opponent was very strange he celebrated the last half words he actually celebrated what's the story going on back to the corner it was a very fair play to me he's a showman this is entertainment at the end of the day you know yeah poor playing still you don't take losses like that on the chain like that at first he actually celebrated losing more than john did with him yeah exactly it was it was it was bizarre but thanks very much it is what it is obviously muay thai is like opening back up and around as well you had the you had the event that was on in dca as well like uh you obviously checked it out what did you make of the whole entire event it was a very good event yeah it was it was all a class voids a couple of good lads on it we had three of our foyers on it uh david mclachlan uh oh mcdonald and mickey rizzo y'all had tough voids it was killed lads force power fights and uh one the one we kill losses but all the lads fought really well and that's all that matters he put the heart and soul into the fight yeah we were in torture beforehand just to see like what what fights we should look out for as well so it was great to see yeah very well yeah jay did great as well yeah he did i couldn't believe your man got up off off the couch after him with that left hook yeah it was it was a serious left hook and then a zeal there had to go forward on the card as well yeah still have a very good quality the fella you find it was a fairly awkward as well uh the word stoil but still handled them very well yeah you know what it's one of those things that i think it's still almost under looked within ireland and you know the muay thai game i think anyone who actually goes to a show will absolutely love it and enjoy it so much well i think it's getting those people in the door in the first place is sort of the hard barrier to get through but ever since i've been to one or two i'm just like i'm hoping yeah yeah you do yeah you but you're also like you follow the characters within the show like there's there's some great characters uh you know obviously mikey and daryl's fight was like so sought out after because uh you know the promotion the promotion video for that fight just made everyone it was the most talked about fighting down and i think like mayweather was fighting logan paul no one even mentioned that it was all about mikey razor versus batman which is great to see for for everyone who loves combat sports yeah definitely and the lads put on a very good show as well so that makes her all the better and do you think that do you expect more of them events to keep going because like just for the people cheering how to see more events coming up there because if the downdoors my though he's gonna die no foyers i can't fight and everyone's inactive and it's hard to come back from that you know what i mean two years especially sitting on the couch but hopefully then they're all sitting on the couch hopefully they're all putting a little bit of graft and working on stuff that he should have been working on throughout this whole time but uh yeah hopefully more shall start popping back up i think people just need to grow set balls and just put showers on whether it's on the ground or or whether it's pay-per-view or whatever it might be well i think after that show it's now seeing that it can be done yeah so i think maybe it's time to definitely push on with it one thing i would love to see is like an all irish versus like all you pick card i think that could be something that could be very very exciting and it's something that i i definitely pain won't see and like i don't even necessarily need to like know the foyers sometimes i just think like if you yeah yeah just so some some form of narrative like i don't care if it's all ireland versus all france or all whales but like if you do sort of you know therefore you're backing all the irish guys it makes a bit more interesting you know i mean yeah well i'm sure some i'm sure people that can make a few moves in the irish team are definitely watching this now and they're just writing it down make sure make sure make sure all three of us are invited you know yeah yeah sure who knows craig cocky could be the headliner you know me no you you have to you have to dig deep into the wall to get them now yourself and spoil that my hair now oh stop touching like if with a win this week with this friday do you think that just opens the door for more orders for us to follow through almost the same way conor did going into the ufc do you think this the international scene could be the way to wait for the future well however those i really hope those uh i'd like to see a lot of the others sports get get what they deserve and fight on these big showers as well uh luke gargell like muay thai grand prix like yo a.m and hopefully then we start coming into one championship and [ __ ] [ __ ] [ __ ] up over there i think that's what people want to see though i think you have to progress and you want to see people on big international stage and like i said like the show that you guys host in dca was absolutely incredible well i think irish people like to almost back their own and redo against someone else so that's why when you're when you when you fight like knowing to him to attend at the stage of your career you're fighting someone from a different country so i was like brilliant craig's void somebody's not irish so like everyone can just get behind you i mean and you know what the whole movie toy community gets behind as well it's not just like your dream it's all the gyms are like craig's fighting better check it out so um again if you are watching this you get to win it's just um what's like what's it like just do you feel like a lot of pressure or what's sort of the bubble like that you're in now it's really good yeah i might have been trying in the airsoft the past two years for this you know i mean uh yeah watching out on the session oh he was in well we didn't stop trying like we we kept the gym up and we we we didn't stop trying and all of us were in the gym jeremy and so we might have been walking two years on some of the stuff out i need to kind of hear out the military score you know what i mean [ __ ] yeah the holidays robbery so in there coming in here to make a big statement and uh it is really good there's a serious buzzing in the two gyms that were asked i would worry i'm trying now muay thai muppets as well while i'm over here and team now girl with john as well so there's really good bosom about james all both gyms have great foyers uh there's two lads el moi toy muppets that's pointing on the show as well ellis barbarian josh ridgewell and then there's uh there was a couple of foyers that had points the weekend just gone on the same card as john so everyone's after them buzzing jeremy and then all that's back at home they're after them walking fought after the point like did he say well it wasn't our phone it was mick pizelski's point no paul just ended up we had a at the gym and tell us this craig i'm very interested to know um have you got the spar with munir lazies and how good is he because in terms of from may standpoint his striking is phenomenal uh i did get this farm he's really really good uh he's a lot bigger than i am so uh he was home back a little bit but uh stroking is very good for an mma live destroyer that's very good yeah but that never stopped craig hopefully in the past a few pounds [Laughter] no i just have to ask because a child [Laughter] no because i remember barry actually sent me a video of me near lizzie barry was watching his debut live i think he was on earlier on the card and then he said he goes you have to check out this guy he's an absolute animal and you know what it's very rare we see zombie top range like may 4 and it's very rare that it happens and like the last person that we actually said to each other was kazma even like that was the last time we were like you have to check out this guy so like because he it's because he beat he's actually getting a little bit of walking with collie now as well so you know now is he moisturizing him dci elbows as well it sounds like the two he is more than to have to take a permanent residency over there you know i'm you know what he still stays dca you know yeah exactly do boy come back academy i like the sound of it and then i wouldn't mind going over there to check that out you know yeah yeah it's very also watching all the all the the footage that you're putting up as well like just following it also you have to the even the photographer there as well taking all the snaps it's uh it's really cool to watch back here you know yeah shout out to par as well yeah pat's been following us around the past couple weeks as well he's fairly good yeah he's doing great with me as well yeah yeah look i don't know it's just it is really a for his life over here uh the tree for it is proper because it's just it's not good you know what i mean you know i not that you'd be embarrassed but like if you tell a joe soap on the street like like you're five for a living they almost were like they almost like get a bit like reserved from you but like what's happening yeah yeah yeah they don't understand yeah it's like crazy it's funny because like if you describe yourself as an elite athlete they'd accept if you don't mean like if you played rugby they'd accept it and you know what you'd be praised for it and you they think you're great but like if you get in a ring and like punch someone for a living like they're a bit like just he could be a talk you know then yeah it's not like that love when foyers are probably the most respectful people out there you know what i mean it's crazy it's crazy the way uh viewers perceive it anyways oh absolutely but uh come here how does this voice go down on friday night uh craig obviously you're going in there you're aggressive you're looking for the knockout at all time at all times do you find his chin this this coming weekend i find everyone's chin we don't know we feel things that could go down we've been walking a lot on angles i've been walking a lot on a field a bit so i'm not gonna give all my secrets away you'll see some of the ball you always expect elbows always expect aggression and i always expect me to come for the finish absolutely no messing with our craig coco coakley he's he's always in there and um you'll know the name of the guy but the last toy guy you were fighting when i was i thought he was from poland and the decision didn't go your way i was watching my phone hold on craig's completely depresser here and i was so confident you were getting your hand raised yeah i went against you i was actually i was actually freaked i'm like you could see on the stream it was in your head wasn't it yeah you see on the stream everyone's like that was a rubbery crate one though that was a robbery and like i suppose it just goes to show your fighting stuff that you are always in there for the win you're looking to take someone's head off at all times and that's what makes you one the most watchable fighters in the world not just now that's why i'll be remembered nice that's why people remember me or i go in and i give her everything each and every time but i'll hold back or lay me my heart on my slave and we come to fight absolutely everyone agrees with that like you have so many people following you tune in watching and like a lot of people are going to be watching on friday to see can the irish guy get the win because if he does that means more people are going to be avoided over and like that's fights people don't even know they're happening really but uh yeah that's what we had to get john craig but like like what's what's the the rest of the week look like now like obviously you're going to try and cut down a bit more away but like what what's what's it looking like for yourself for the in the build up to the fight now so uh me last week today we're doing a little bit of strength edition um just hit couple rounds pads uh tomorrow will be probably my last two coin not hard sessions for fast paced sessions if you get me then uh we go to the hotel into the bubble we got the car we test and all that so that we we can join the bubble but uh i think that's wednesday we're gone and thursday morning we weigh in 8 40 which is great so we get to eat really really soon then throw them on and we get to whoop someone i can't wait to see it and craig coakley versus dennis from turkey he's got a really hard surname to say so i didn't attempt to say yeah so uh it is it is
