We are thrilled to announce that Freya has become the latest Team Ireland athlete to reach the top of the world podium, securing a Gold Medal at the 2026 IMMAF Youth World Championships.

Freya’s performance throughout the tournament was a display of pure dominance and elite technical skill. She navigated a challenging path to the title, proving her class against top-tier international opposition:

• Group Stages: Freya delivered two clinical performances to defeat high-level opponents from both Mexico and South Africa, securing her place in the knockout rounds with momentum.
• The Final vs. Ukraine: In a high-stakes championship bout, Freya showed incredible composure and heart to defeat a very tough Ukrainian opponent and claim the World Title.
