A historic day for Team Ireland as Ella Carey delivers a flawless performance to secure the Gold Medal at the 2026 IMMAF Youth World Championships.

Ella’s journey to the top of the podium today was nothing short of spectacular. She navigated a grueling bracket with two elite performances:

• Semi-Final vs. Ukraine: A technical and disciplined display saw Ella take a dominant Unanimous Decision victory to secure her place in the final.

• Final vs. Lebanon: Ella closed out the tournament in clinical fashion, securing the World Title with a lightning-fast Armbar in just 41 seconds.

Becoming a World Champion is the ultimate reward for the countless hours of training, sacrifice, and dedication Ella has put in at her home club.
