Youth meets experience in what promises to be a fascinating clash at lightweight.

Peadar Mackie has already made his mark inside the Virtus cage at novice level and now takes the next step in his MMA journey. Representing local club OMMA, Peadar is one of the gym’s brightest young prospects, with those around him expecting a huge performance when he returns to compete in front of his home crowd.

Across the cage stands Simon Cox, representing Bru Grapple. A long-time martial artist and Brown Belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, Simon makes his MMA debut carrying an outstanding grappling pedigree. With a high-level submission game and years of experience on the mats, there’s already plenty of excitement surrounding what he can bring to mixed martial arts.
