On August 22nd, two of the best amateur flyweights in Ireland step into the Virtus cage with one goal in mind — to become the very first Virtus Flyweight Champion.

Sean Carmody represents MMA Cork, training under Arann Maguire. A relentless grappler with an incredible work rate, Sean has quickly established himself as one of the country’s top flyweights. Now, he’ll be looking to follow in his brother’s footsteps by adding a Virtus title to the family name.

Standing across from him is the undefeated Breen Woods of Team KF, coached by former UFC fighter Chris Fields. Breen has built an impressive reputation with his performances and continues to prove why many consider him one of the brightest prospects in Irish MMA.

This is a clash between two elite athletes at the very top of the division. Two unbeaten runs cannot continue, and when the cage door closes, only one man will leave with the belt.
