Today the Thailand Association of Mixed Martial Arts (Thailand Association of Mixed Martial Arts: TAMMA), together with Fight for the Future Foundation and OG, launched OGF4 Academy Phuket at Soi Ta-Iat, Phuket, as a long-term combat-sport athlete development center and to create opportunities for youth to enter combat sports with quality. The project teaches 4 sports: mixed martial arts (MMA), Muay Thai, kickboxing, and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu (Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu: BJJ), aiming to give committed youth who love combat sports a chance to learn in a safe environment under qualified coaches and top-level athletes, developing sport skill, discipline, responsibility, endurance, and good athlete character. The Thailand Association of Mixed Martial Arts believes sustainable sport development does not start only from building national-team athletes or excellence. It must start by making the “base of the pyramid” strong, by giving youth access to standard training and developing an athlete pathway continuously from the grassroots to the international level. TAMMA is therefore committed to working on both High Performance athlete development and Grassroots Development, to build a strong, sustainable combat-sport ecosystem for Thailand's future.
