Post-fight interview with Eoin McCullough after his debut at a Valor Combat Series show. He describes training at Regenerate, a gym that opened the previous year, where he began in January and has been attending regularly with two or three sessions most days under coaches Jared and James. McCullough says he had roughly five months in combat sports overall and about five weeks of camp for this bout, his first MMA fight. He reports feeling nervous before the walkout but calm once the cage closed, calls the experience unreal, and wants to compete again. He mentions dialing back training and cutting calories slightly in fight week, and that James offered a free month if anyone hit a head-and-arm choke he taught—McCullough did not, with two teammates still to fight. Looking ahead, he plans to return to the gym, sharpen skills, and take as many fights as he can. He speaks positively about how training affected confidence, humility, and respect in everyday life.
