All right, everyone. Welcome back. >> Welcome back. Gladiator Fighting Championship. I have here Mr. Bradley Rice. >> Yes. Yeah. Yeah. Nice to meet you, man. >> Congratulations. >> Thank you. >> Um >> awesome victory. Um awesome knockout. Like what what does what does that feel like for you? It's pretty much what I've been jelling to be honest. Um, we knew he sort of he was going to come and wrestle, so it was to defend the takedown and then work on the shot. So the the shot went clean and that was it. >> Right on. Did you you said you knew he was coming and wrestle. Were you prepared to go to the ground to or to wrestle? >> You can see him in most of my fights. You know, you feel like that's what way it's going to go regardless is someone's going to come and wrestle. But that's what it is. here to I'm here to bang out like um >> so what what was it like you you you were throwing your strikes and he landed that one. Did you know right away? >> To be honest I I uh I knew the knee caught well as sort of the clinch as I left out his arm. I felt my knee go like near felt like I went right through his rib. >> Okay. >> But uh then I sort of can see he was backing off from the the the body shot and then uh I was going for the head after. >> Right. So you can kind of st you can kind of sense he was he was maybe a bit hurt. >> Yeah. Yeah, just like especially the how clean the knee went and I was like that definitely that would have hurt like so I put the pressure on. >> What what what was your exact game plan coming into this and like I know you said you wanted to uh to work to wrestling but like what was it like? >> There wasn't nothing in particular. I knew my strikes are clean. Like I I'll be honest, I feel like I'm caring a lot apart at the minute and I feel if you're getting hit with one like it could be it. Like >> absolutely. Um, at any point in time did you like did you feel any kind of hesitation or anything in the ring there? Like did were things not quite how you expected it from your opponent or >> No, not necessarily. No, he he felt very strong too. Like to be fair to him in the clinch, he he felt strong. So yeah, credits to him like and fair play for him coming all the way over for this fight like as well. I know I think as far as I'm aware, one of his teammates was me fighting another guy from a gym over here and I think it fell through. So fair play to him like for coming over and doing it anyway. Absolutely. Um like what what are you taking away out of this? Like what do you like what's something you feel like you've learned? >> And to be honest, every fight's learning whether you're uh you get beat or not. You're you're picking yourself up and you're trying to work on new things. Every time you go into the gym, you're just always trying to improve. Again, like I could have improved. There was times I felt I could have been better, but I I still felt good, but I still want to improve, be a we bit more clean and such. >> Right on. Um, >> what are you going to do differently going into your next fight? >> Just train hard. Um, I'm hoping to get a belt hit soon to be honest. Uh, >> okay. >> That's two first round knockouts and I think maybe it's time to take that step up and challenge someone for >> How many fights have you had so far? >> Um, I think I'm five and three now in MMA. >> Right on. Um, so two first round knockouts. >> All my wins have came in the first round. So if I don't >> Okay. So all right. Speaking on that then like what's the how do you feel about going like you know kind of the distance there because a lot of fighters who >> I'd be good if I could go to the distance but I'll not say too much cuz any time I've went past that I've been making so yeah. So yeah >> we'll we'll we'll leave it at this then. Um so like what what's what's next year look like for you? Like what what do you what's your next year look like? >> Yeah. Try try and challenge for a couple of belts and then hopefully by the end of next year potentially the top pro. That'll be down to the coach, Rodney. So, whoever >> particular belt from any particular promotion, >> cage conflict belt or alterate belt, that's what I want next. Look, be honest. I don't care if you have a belt like I want it is as simple as that. I don't care whose belt it is, whether it's Cage Conflict or anyone like that. I I just want your belt. Like, I'm coming for it. >> All right. Right on. Right on. Um, yeah. Look, man, I I appreciate your time. Thank you very much. Um, and congrats on your win. Um, may they all be this successful in this short. >> Yeah. Cheers. Thank you, brother. >> Thank you. >> All right. Have a good one. >> You, too.
