[Music] foreign [Music] from combat Wizards and super necessary so we're going to talk about obviously the Octagon challenge is the second episode which aired on Tuesday on Channel 4 on YouTube um we were left obviously last time Aaron lost so we were seeing the Fallout from that and it wasn't really much of a Fallout it was there was a lot of respect shown between the two of them you could see them having a beer together and then it was straight on to the next one what did you I thought it was a pure class on the side of Team England they didn't rub it in the Irish guy's face they weren't overly expressive about obviously they celebrated but they didn't really rub it in their face so I was really good to see that side of sportsmanship from Team UK and then the two boys having a beer after was just pure class what was your towards on obviously the end of the last episode and kind of going into the start of this one yeah well I mean you said that the nearly sometimes you don't see that side of the sport like you see them like do my like she hands after the fight in the cage but then after the facts you don't really know what goes on so to see them like have a have a beer together and that was um it was really good it's always good seeing that side of things and um yeah I think you're right didn't didn't rub it in all right and they just it's it's a win for us that's crack on and I think that's that's how it's how it's gonna be I think anyway yeah I think um I think that's just the personality of The Lads on team England with the exception of Hassan I think well Jay um you know the the quiet lots that Reserve to just keep themselves to themselves and I think that's your oldie you got to win and that was it like you said you know sharing a beer together that's you know that's what we've always been told is is the way in in MMA you leave your legal with the door and you see your opponents and at the end of it and you showed respect because at the end of the day you know they're getting in the cage they both know the rest they both know what the consequences and things like that so you've got to have respect for anyone who steps in the cage opposite yeah and they showed that yeah it was quite a nice obvious to see that part of it and then in between them having a beer Dennis again Dennis seems to be relentless with Hassan when Hassan was cracking the eggs and making the eggs he's like oh yeah he's on the good [ __ ] now because he has to fight me he knows he has to turn down watch it like Dennis he literally followed him around the house from what I seen of it watch it like he is just absolutely in your face I couldn't imagine being around Apple I think he knows what he's doing I think he's just trying to get into Hassan's head that he's so pissed off and he just wants to beat him so badly that he would potentially make a mistake what do you make of of Dennis and his Antics so far in the house yeah I mean I think he's um yeah and it's massively it's it's mental Warfare you know that's that's everything before the fight there's a fight in terms of you know who wins the the mental games and Dennis's is a pro at it um I mean you see you see the moment when he's talking about uh Paddy's being the same age as padian throwing that at him you know just to have him guessing in that and yeah he's just like that sort of little little devil on the shoulder no there's no there's no good one there this Dennis is is the devil and he needs to stay chirping away at him and I think I think that either makes the the other fights at all or doesn't like he can either let that get to him and when it comes to the fight it affects them or they can use it take it all in and then sort of make Dennis pay in a sense um but yeah it's it's it's Dennis being Dennis I think he's at the moment for me is like the highlight of the show because he's he's just dead isn't he he's yeah it's funny it's boss yeah I mean you said that all that he's living up to the Menace nickname anyway um he's yeah it's where the Hassan can can sort of continue taking in and living with it because he's been Relentless and um yeah I think if that fight it sounds like that fight is going to be the one that gets made eventually but you know I think he said Brad said it on on this episode we we want to make that fight but we'll make it when we want to make it um so I think if if Ireland end up winning the next challenge I think that's the fact we're going to have to be honest but yeah it's uh it must be it must have been hell for for Hassan in there but uh I I found the hilarious that he was making every opportunity to just make it down uh Hassan's the [ __ ] it's like every every other word out of his mouth was a Sam's the [ __ ] like he's he's winding them up so absolutely no one but um yeah it's it's just entertaining there's movies like that's just Dennis he's just [Laughter] my teammates though is teammates know he's a [ __ ] the coach is no exhibition I want him to know he is a [ __ ] and I just went oh my God this is classic Dennis and and to Echo what you said about with Patty he said Patty's 35 years of age he's been in the UFC he's got his own gym he's got a fighter in the UFC because you're on the prospects here with office but what's going on but when I share that clip someone actually texts me goes is Dennis not 40 no because he looks sick yeah what I found interesting as well right and I don't know if Dan has done this purposely or what way because he's really kind of I want to say God with all because they agreed to have that fight and like Brad said like they agreed so Hassan had agreed that that was going to be the fight and that was going to happen but then when he goes back to his coach he doesn't have control over this so when obviously Brad goes no that's not the fight that's happening it's gonna they pick the fight so then he has to go back to Dennis like kind of with his tail between his like Dennis like you said you were going to fight and that's one of and Shamrock said it as well you you said you were gonna fight but you're not fighting like you didn't live up to yours you're not a man that's another like kind of get one over getting into his head like I just think he's just so intelligent in the way he goes with the mental Warfare yeah it's it's winning the battles as well as the war and those little things there uh at the battles where the Hassan realizes that or not him saying yeah they'll fight Dennis and shake it on it you know that's usually a big things like who's your honey it's official you know and then not not actually saying like I want to fight Dennis or even trying to fight for that in a sense um and then obviously that's escaped in a small ammo I mean he he sort of humiliates them when he was on the treadmill saying don't quit on quiz you know so there's a little battle he's what he's just adding all these up and that's gonna play on here I think like I think Dennis said he he's already about to fight one um which it can be dangerous at the same time I just hope it doesn't I hope it doesn't if that is the fight that we do get I hope it doesn't lead to him being sort of complacent with them not underestimating them um and things like that but I think I think it's already sort of a round one for Dennis in a way a 10-8 round one as well yeah because yeah I don't think he will take him lightly or be complacent because they had said in the first episode the two of them had bit back and forward and Hassan said you turned down the fight with me and he goes yeah because you were too big bro so obviously I don't know if there was I don't know if Hassan had fought a different way or or was he because that was the conversation that I heard that you said you were like you were masterful like that's why I turned down to fight or so original to fight I don't know if it was after tomb officially but there was a little conversation like that so I don't think Dennis will take him lightly I think Dennis knows what he's got and he knows what how Hassan's gonna be coming in like you said you don't know till they get into the cage whether it's going to affect him or it's going to Spur them on but I think Dennis will be will be ready for and man it's just like there's so much that's happened but all the talk has been essentially about Dennis and asan and they've really kind of stood out in the show and I think they know how to make good TV yeah I think another thing that you got to think about and it's probably what's in then if he's too heavy at the minute if you're fighting week by week on the show that's a master's massive advantage in terms of the weight because if if he's I mean unless he's got a cut down but usually like even having a bit of a weight Advantage is massive and then if he refuels you don't know how big you get so I think that's probably the reason why Dennis being smart about it and thoughts well you're gonna have that on me no I mean and that does play play a factor I think when it comes to the fight yeah yeah I agree yeah so obviously uh the reward english team was they got to go around in the plane which is quite cool um and it's these boys who actually won the Octagon seem to be able to do [ __ ] everything I don't know I don't know what they did or where they went to school or where they went to college but they they wear a couple of hats so it was good to see them you've seen George Staines in the front uh and then the next challenge as well I thought it was a bit strange but I get the the concept behind it again is teamwork and then I think you've seen with Team Island they actually stood for 15 minutes and decided what they wanted to do uh before they actually put any pen to paper they got it before they started John what did you make in the challenge I thought to be honest the two things didn't look really that good they're not really artists they'll never give up their day jobs anyway so I don't think well what's mad is is day goes to University for the art so when I think when that challenge comes around is probably okay and team England are probably okay let's let's have Jake do the piece and I mean even the developed who wants his name diode um that the graffitiasis he was like well it's that main piece that's sort of draw me towards them being a winner so it's it's weird that I know it probably isn't what I wasn't but if I like this episode there's more driven towards Jake he was able to show himself outside of the cage what he does and then obviously the the fight that happens later on um the challenge itself though was a bit of a Madonna but I think maybe that's what all the challenge is going to be until this team we're host is focused in that so it's yeah find them ways to teamwork outside of fighting I guess yeah and I think they need to appeal to people outside MMA as well if it's MMA related challenges it's all going to be MMA so people who don't watch MMA might not like if they see something like that they see the planes they see the artwork they're making all once this and stop and keep watching whereas if it's just never made it just keep going yeah I think it was I think it was quite selling that Jake did have that background because as you say you kind of just knew what he wanted to do straight away team England are happy with him to sort of take the reins it was him being able to show his sort of leadership qualities there whereas team Island needed that time to deliver anything and go right what do we want to do and then Dennis kind of toh over from the actual uh perspective and I mean I kind of I can't imagine sort of spray painting and graffiti is easy and to be fair I didn't think Genesis was that was a was too bad to be honest but um yeah are you getting a key and I think the episode did feel a bit geared um towards towards Jake obviously the the challenge suited him very well um and then obviously What followed as well but um yeah it was a it was an interesting challenge like you say they're trying to showcase different sides of them and different things to to get others involved from outside of them and they saw yeah yeah because when it comes to situations like that teamwork or they need to get something done or just pressure on that's when you actually see the real sizes people people always say you don't know who's your friend until the [ __ ] hits the fan and you get to see the real side of them and that's obviously they're in a high pressure situation being on the show when when things aren't going right and seeing how do you react so I think it's just it's trying like I said it's trying to get across teamwork and then you get to see the different sites and like I said it was geared towards Jake and like that Jay goes into fight almond right this makes me laugh so much right Aaron does have his K1 titles everyone calls him a kicks boxer have you looked at his record in MMA um it isn't something yeah yeah so how can someone be called a striker yeah I think he plays up to the fact as well I think he's like take me to the ground okay I think he goes yeah he's a striker song I think he plays up to it as well because I was talking about someone else I said how can like yeah he is a car like a very high level Striker but you look at his submissions the only thing is sometimes he can get caught on the ground as well but with his his long Limbs and stuff it is a lot easier he catches Lads and triangles a lot of time get like he obviously he had that was a tight squeeze he had on but uh would you call Ironman the striker or the submission is looking at his record because icon is submission artist if anything I think I think Armand kind of said it himself on the show is he's he's a mixed martial artist he's and he's he's very clearly very good like he's clearly that he goes on the ground and I think he's they've played absolutely into what he wanted them to do in that fight I think they knew he was going to try and take him down take it towards the cage a bit and he's played on it I think that's exactly what Arnold wanted and he's wanted to sorta he's I think he's wanted to rub it in Jake's face a little bit to be honest because obviously Jay very high level jujitsu thought it was going to be a walk in the past if it gets tucked down and um and knew that it wasn't going to be and I think he wanted to kind of rub that in in Jake's face a bit which I think we kind of see in a little bit after the fight as well it wasn't it wasn't the same as when when Paul beat um you know B um the week before so very different feeling after the fight but um yeah I think it just it went perfectly for armored yeah how dangerous of a fighter are you can can you be when your base is is Thai you've got all all titles in K1 in there and then when you go into MMA you get all your wins by by submission it's like that's only I I am a dangerous fighter so if you perceive me as a K1 fighter then that natural that's your loss you know because you're overlooking this Saturday and I think I even said some misses because as as Quinn said Jake has a good wrestler I'm really good in Jiu Jitsu I said he's going to try to get almond towards the cage and shooting and take him down and that's what happened I think once he had all the guillotine he went he went and let him go and then like you said you see and it was a tight tight Guillotine and that's Jake's first loss so it's even though it's his face loss it's a big Lane for him because it might it'll shape his mentality a bit different when going in I think I think has as you said I know what I'm good at but um I'm just like the swords are not giving me the respect they need to give me in the ground so I was like it was good I'm a new what what he was doing and what he wanted to do when it come to it and uh yeah it was it was a lovely submission to be honest with you yeah he he had a tight grip and it looked like that Jake was maybe going to get out at one day but he just followed him around and got it and I think Brad I think the whole all the team England obviously because Jake's such high levels they all underestimated his ground game like I think they all really did because they all said when it goes to the ground it's over it's over it's over uh then obviously it it was it it went the way Aaron went and I think armor plays on that it's the same in Ireland when like he's from amateur here like people don't want to strike with him so they'll go for the takedown and it's like okay he did Rory Lavery who is really high level he beat him in 21 seconds so yeah Lottery is like in team tour is a really good YouTube gym um really good Muay Thai gym uh but he obviously thought he had Advantage with iron on the ground and he'd done the same he went in and I haven't got him I think it was a guillotine I think it was a guillotine as well he went to you in and laughed him open like uh like Jay was saying no after I was kind of disappointed with obviously what we've seen I kind of after looking forward to next episode that the message left to Jake because Dennis actually said at one stage Joel it was nice to see that England didn't rub it in when what day won so he said that but then the whole team does the complete opposite and I think this is where it will cause bad blood and it might cause division within division within teams because like Aaron's after losing he got showing respect so he might we don't know if all of Team Island had a part of it but he might be gone this doesn't feel right because Paul showed me respect when I lost we shouldn't really be doing this to this guy like your first last at Young ages is a a hard experience than to do it with the cameras and everyone around like I think this might cause a lot of French friction going on and it might even cause friction between the teammates as well yeah yeah it was a bit mad seeing that um I think obviously there's pranks in that Indian there's you know but then this this but I mean in in some cases it's like some things aren't off limits I mean what he said they had planned for when he started this is sort of my news I don't know if you've seen what do you have planned like that they were going to do but um this is sort of my nuisance in terms of that but personally for Jake obviously going through like you said going through the first loss and then he's going to read something like that so it's going to knock him a bit more and as you see he approached Dennis and said you know sort of where's the respect and that's where Jake feel he's laughing like he he even seen it before when before the fight then it's like yesterday yes you know to the others and left as I'm out so maybe that was a little a little bit of a shock to Jake as well when you've seen that or again I think with Dennis it's it's the Art Award and it's like keep you keep them close still you know what I mean just play games with them so yeah it's it depends yeah I think if if the shorter the pranks and stuff would have been geared towards everyone to the level then it would have made more sense but the fact that you know as I said like there was the respect before when and Jake's being really sorted to himself in most of it same with George and I just thinking yeah probably probably I think you're probably right David I don't think it would sit right with Aaron that where the other part and then obviously we don't we don't know at the moment but um yeah it must have been terrible for Jake because you could see how how much that loss actually affected them he was really he was really caught up about it and then to come back to the villa and see that just must have been like it's sort of it's kept my mum when he's down yeah because he he's probably expecting like you've seen with Aaron and Bob they went back in here had a beer he was probably expecting to go back and have a beer with Armand after what happened the last one and then you think right you've had this it loss is devastating at any stage of career but for your first one to be on TV on a show like that to go back there and thinking like maybe we'd go back have a beer have a chat about the fight and we can learn something off each other I tend to go back and get a message like that when you're already devastated because I think he mentioned how can I call myself a mixed Mart lash just I don't think he said it like that exactly don't quote me for it but he said something along the lines about how can I call myself an MMA fighter or or something like that so you're you've got all those emotions built up you're thinking maybe I'll go back have a beer with my opponents and have a chat and then you arrive back to it being shown in your face I could imagine is is a is a horrible feeling because like you said he was quite Co-op yeah well you've got to think as well after that after the fight especially with you know team Allen Devon what's the first challenge what's the first fight what's the second challenge there's probably a lot of German in that as well so if if that has come directly after the fight maybe the whether it's right or wrong maybe the adrenaline has probably the part of that you know armin's been psyched up himself or team Island being psyched up so maybe that's come after the fact you know it's that's it you don't know exactly what point that has come after um that's further on in or however it plays out but I think there's a lot of factors that play into things as well isn't he yeah you can see some of the Fallout happening you can see Jay talking to Dennis same day and then he says yeah I I did have a Pirates playing that we all did obviously we won't see exactly what happened on the next episode but it's really left it on a cliffhanger hasn't it to see I really want to see how this situation is handled by both teams in there do team England come together with Jake now and be more solid because not that they weren't together but like they need to show a united front and I think now go like you can't treat you one you can't treat a person like that I know you're in a flight game but they all know what it's like to lose they all know how devastated is and and pranks to a certain extent is fine but I think when it comes to maybe you're lost on the show I suppose all fairs and Love and War I guess isn't it yeah yeah oh excuse me I think it's just anything to to gain an advantage and you know that's that's what Dennis has been really good in there that's what's made for the entertainment so so far so deliver I'm really sure that you've got to try and gain as many of these little edges as possible I think that is probably all while I've looked at it as well I think maybe they haven't looked at it for them so Jake's perspective from Team England's perspective we showed you respect after the loss where's the you know where you you're always the same courtesy and um I don't know whether to get hashed out though and I will have to wait and see yeah yeah be interesting as you say that to see how team England come together as you said it's it's not really being divided but the results have been in their own Clicks in the way you know George and Jake Paul and there sometimes Hassan's off you know trying to piss off team Island when when when these can be bothered so it's like it's being crd come together but I think again I think the coaches will play a big part and maybe how that's dealt with as well because you've got someone like Brad Pitt who's seen it all you know I mean you've got the coaches that have seen stuff like that even even Paddy might say something but it's I think they they may play a part in it but what I'm interested in is to see what this next challenge is because the didn't give you much today so today you know shows like that a medieval stuff that so uh be interesting to see what they do with that League laughs yeah I think that's going to be very interesting and seeing blindly so you know medieval gear was just a bit odd as well I must say it looks a bit forward but like that they've left us on the Cliffhanger I can't wait to see it now this like we've we keep coming back to what this this Dennis and sanding is building the building and I think if they can keep it to the end of the show they will but it all depends on the coaches and how they how it gets picked um because that's if I was a TV producer obviously they can't say this fight has to be last it depends on the courses I'd want that at the end because that's what everything is kind of built into I think um but yeah it's gonna be interesting to see what uh how everything comes together after last one how team England are how Hassan is how the mind games are but it's left is on a really good Cliffhanger and I really really can't wait to see the next one I really can't yeah well as you say there I think there was a sort of a teaser product I think Genesis I make agreements with you they said like I want that fight with them but I want to leave it till the semi-finals so I can like open them up a bit with the elbows and change his face so I mean I think if if he's going down that line and you know maybe that's what what happens in the show itself so yeah when that fight happens it's got to happen I mean for it to build build and then not happen would just be mad so you know what's going to happen would it be interesting when it does like yeah yeah that's that's the sorta money fight in there at the minute so I think everyone's invested in that one from people in the house that always watching it so that's the one that's got to be done I think at some point yeah no it definitely does this left us on the Cliffhanger I can't wait to see the next one is there anything you want to say before we go or do you think we've covered it on really quickly what did you think of almond bread [Laughter] there was aim I remember that that's that's the after coming back to be there because I rewatched it but I didn't get to that far again and the summer break wasn't it yeah I don't really eat bread well like well yeah anyways um yeah that fight was out there I suppose yeah well it's it's interesting because I'm one of the the videos showing him I'm making the bread Matt leaves a comment saying do you think uh Hassan liked his bread so actually actually I've heard whispers about something I've heard whistles about something like that because Hassan took the the chicken or something wasn't it in the first episode I think yeah I think something I can't remember exactly what they said there is Payback yeah it's not pleasant uh is that coming in the next episode I am I I don't I don't think it made the course because of what it what it is what it was um I think if you'd seen it you'd see it there yeah but yeah okay someone's gonna have to shoot me a voice message yeah and just you know team Island playing the planks and Hassan being at the end of it again and not only that he got hit with toilet water as well yeah forgot about that pill as well you got soaked to tell you that water yeah so yeah no it's it's been interesting I'm gonna have to get on the phone for when he uh straight after we ended here but it was a pleasure again this week uh we are still uh is it gonna be retrievers going forward for the four weeks is she happy to continue doing this because I really like this especially talking to two guys from from the UK obviously and get the sex perspective so if you're happy
