PRO FEATHER TITLE
➡️ Replacement fight

Peter Doyle (Team Ryano, 2-2) v Joe Orrey (SMMA, 11-9)

Unfortunately Corey McLaughlin is out of this title fight and we wish him well in his recovery from injury.

The vacant title now takes a hugely intriguing twist towards a fight that makes sense on many levels.

Two warriors closer to the twilight of very esteemed martial arts careers lock horns in an extremely well-matched fight.

Both men are high-level BJJ black belts with some recent boxing experience. ‘Doyler’ has matched against some of the best master grapplers in Ireland in the past few years, whilst Orrey is a Shore MMA black belt, a club with massive pedigree.

Peter has turned his hand to boxing in recent times and has returned some incredible performances. Orrey is the same, recently winning a four-man prize fighting tournament across the water.

Will the winner defend? In all likelihood, most likely not. Is it as exciting a professional match as we have on the card? Absolutely. Both fighters have exceptional ground fighting with the ability to knock each other out on the feet. LFG!
