Lally maintained his undefeated professional record with a first-round TKO victory over João Pedro Saldanha at the RDS Arena. After overcoming some early adversity, Lally finished the fight with punches from back mount at 2:13 of Round 1. The victory keeps Lally undefeated and earned him a £1,000 Performance of the Night bonus from Cage Warriors. In this exclusive post-fight interview, Max Lally reflects on the fight, overcoming the early adversity, his first-round finish, fighting in front of the Dublin crowd, and what could be next for one of Cage Warriors' rising featherweights.

It's it's like whatever 16 fights all you get me are as handed to me in the gym day in day out Is that's that is a lot of pressure? You know to be honest I get it but like like when I fight I'm honestly I'm detached from the result I am so familiar with losing like I lose all the time in the gym I get me ours handed to me in the gym week in week out Like I'm probably if you're to ask a lot of people, you know, we can go in there and I can perform So when I go in there and I fight I'm detached from the result I just want to go in and perform and the most important thing for me is people being excited about that, want to watch that, that's what's important to me.
