[Music] [Applause] [Music] Dylan Douglas everyone um congratulations uh on that Victory there um it would it was I don't say unexpected but it was it was it was very as a spectator was very surprising because uh um he had the he had The High Ground on you you know um and then from my perspective it almost looked as if his arm was a bit bent but then he up which I think is what straightened his arm out for you and then you locked in um an arm bar so congratulations thank you very much um it was a bit emotional for you at the end there um you want to explain that a little bit uh yeah uh me and dar th and the end of 2018 on another show uh it came to a draw was my last amateur fight and it was better sweet because at the time me Aunt had beat ker twice uh and she was back over and took to hospital but we didn't know she kept that hidden until after I fought just so I didn't have to worry about it uh so it sort of better sweet this time uh those few years ago we were doing all nights in the hospital on a Saturday coming home on a Sunday me and my partner uh so was better sort of sweet that way uh but it was you know it was nice to have sort of that thing finally buy me and get my first PR one it's good bit of closure almost Yeah well yeah can't imagine that's definitely tough um you how much time did you have to prepare for this fight uh I had a long time to prepare for it uh did you do anything special to no uh I had fought last year in a uh a and it was at 7 against magaz above and that same AR I threw up the third round against Maga uh but no Dy told me after that fight with Maga he would love to get me down to a 68 fight and then go from 68 kilo to 66 for him which is what I originally fought at the very start of my pro career in the end of my amateur so more or less I just sort of cleaned up the diet the whole year training got uped uh tried my hand at a couple other gyms just you know for sparring tried my hand at uh my friend's not doing it it's okay take take time take time I tried my hand uh down for a weekend with a couple of gems down south uh with the lights of Alex shanov down at his lot uh and up in KF as well uh so it sort of sh me right that's what these Pros are like obviously me and yanov fought me and Leon Hill fought so gave me a certain idea and my partner was off doing her cut course at the time so you know kill two birds one stone uh and that definitely you know give me an eye opener while that was happening the fight releas so I had about 9 or 10 weeks to prep so you're uh you h on there your partner a cut person yeah so you can't just kiss the the cut team okay well uh I mean whenever they're in uniform I come uh but no uh honestly thanks obviously the lights of the whole cut team for you know taking her under their wing uh she's find she's driving in it and it does a lot great for me she's and you know my hands doing stuff like that keeping an eye on me uh more or less she's The Unofficial next gen cop woman now so uh but no honestly the whole of the Inside Out care grip you know they did a lot for us that way so yeah um so kind of right out the gate you you were hit yeah then you kind of dropped yeah um what was going through your head at that moment uh it was uh one of those I've I've not been hit that hard before uh it was sort of oh yes excuse me language oh yeah sh uh you know I'm in a fight and then I just sort of got I heard St that shouting you know he went in for clinch y uh we had worked on to that we knew it was going to happen we knew the takeown was going to happen I was going to get took down it wasn't something the matter of you know but always Stu it might happen happened a bit earlier uh but know and the play as way possible get slightly pissed off then uh that I got it uh you think that helped you with the rest of the round yeah that got a bit more aggression out uh but know the arm barrows the exact same sort of one you know foot in the hip hit the switch hit the arm Dar nearly got out of it is that something you train often no no no I never go for subs off my bike okay uh subs off my bike are usually I get out you know off the back sort of thing they're never uh you know throw a sub up to get it it's a throw a sub up get the hell out of there sort of scenario uh but no uh the arm bar i' hit it obviously last year didn't quite get it uh this time I made sure it wasn't you know getting lost again if I had it but if I didn't get it was going be used to get free card and get on top okay you nailed it man yeah um look so what's next um what's what's next for you uh next is definitely moving down to 66 uh probably the easiest weight cut we've had uh going from 72 I think we cut from to 68 really wasn't much a cut uh but yeah definitely sort of got a lot bigger over the years so think there's a couple things we need to Tweet now uh just for the ongoing sort of years that I'm hopefully going to keep doing this uh other than that hopefully get out uh before May at the latest and then go on holiday come back getting our fight straight away awesome man look uh congratulations on that win um hope to see you fight again soon um and until then take care thank you very much appreciate it thanks really enjoyed that thank you oh
