Brian Manning joins The Energized Show ahead of Oktagon 96 in Munich on Halloween, previewing an elaborate multi-costume walkout (with promotion support and ring rehearsal on fight week), a sharper fight-camp focus after his loss to Pukak, and renewed contract leverage if he wins. He frames the Czech opponent as overconfident after their first meeting, vows a more damaging approach that may mix wrestling with his usual violence, and maps Oktagon ranking paths—including a possible rematch with number-nine Pukak on Oktagon 100 in Prague—while dismissing a rankings call-out of Mick Stanton as a poor geographic fit. He praises Barry Callahan’s Cork promotion work, predicts a sell-out EFC 10 on 14 November (eight pro bouts, title fights), plans to attend despite Chaos FC the same night, and closes with a “horror show” message to viewers. Hosts Ross and Baz then recap Irish regional results (Fufu Farrez, Ty Ganon), Clan Wars 56 (Brian Draper’s injury loss), and UFC 333 plus upcoming cards, mostly as opinion and booking speculation.

Do you know what the snoozefest amateur careerh the wrestler Brian that might have to come back as well because just out of a point to prove you know like these [ __ ] I wasn't even thinking that loss against Pukak it was like there was moments on the cage I'm just trying to get off I'm trying to break the grips I'm trying to get off the cage but why didn't I just turn into under hook why I start wrestling him what is he like on the fence what if I took him down what's he like off his back you know what I mean I could have really punished him there and I can do these things people think Brian you've no wrestling no grappling I'm just going I need to show him. I'm going to need to show even though I love this. That's what I do. I want to entertain. I want to excite. But maybe I go to prove a point. Go back to amateur manning and do damage while I'm doing it. Big elbows. There's no elbows in the amateur. There's big elbows now. [music] >> Diana Joy up the >> right here. We go. It's time. [screaming] Okay. What's going on, guys? Welcome to a brand new episode of Energized brought to you by Ross and Baz. Ross, >> are you intoxicated or something? >> Introduce the guest man. Today we have the most feared man in Octagon. It is an energized Halloween special. It's Freddy Cougar. It's Jason Vores. It's whoever he damn well wants to be. It's the one and only iconic Brian Manning. Brian, how are you doing, my man? >> How we get on, boys? >> Doing great. >> Man, this needs to be an annual show. Brian Manning fighting on Halloween every single year. >> Yeah, it's meant to be. It's meant to be me fighting on Halloween. Halloween night. It was uh I have fought close to Halloween a couple times or maybe I fought in the Amateurs on Halloween night as well. But yeah, every time it falls on Friday, Saturday, Sunday, there should be a Halloween show and I should be on the show for sure. And uh I can't wait for it. I'm destined to fight Halloween on a big show again in front of 12,000 people. Big arena Munich, you know what I mean? So it's uh destined to be. I can't wait for it. >> Tell us this, Brian. Uh, was Halloween something always special to you growing up or just as you got older like you you just enjoy enjoyed the movies and just >> maybe like it was a little ging thing pushing around the place the bollocks and getting your bangers and you know all the car that goes in Halloween night but I had a few fancy dresses over the years. Yeah. >> But never it's only the MMA scene where I got into the sick [ __ ] You know what I mean? the violent [ __ ] like the real symbols of evil which is Michael Myers and the Joker and Saw and Jason V for the Jason X I call people Jason I know him as Jason X growing up I was watching Jason X but since MMA I got into the re because you can't be like just some people I know I dressed up as Ali G for a stag there recently you saw that but you can't you could do it for the crack for MMA you could do for the buzz but it's [snorts] not that serious evil violent personality do you get me you need you need something sick to for for what you're doing in the cage. You can't be rocking out his LEG and then going and be a vicious [ __ ] in the cage. You need to be some Mike Meyers knife out sick bastard. >> Can you give us any hints on what's going to happen this WEEKEND IN MUNICH? >> OH, [screaming] 96. >> The hint of the walk to fight a board or what? Everything. >> You know what? >> It's going to be a big walk out. A big walk out and that's it. [laughter] We >> there's going to be there's going to be some things involved. There's going to be some costumes plural involved and it's going to be a serious buzz. It's going to be a serious buzz. It may just hop the saw one. So, we'll see. >> That's going to be hard. That's I can't wait to see it, man. >> Will be hard. It will be hard. But I think of it, there's so much more to do. There's so much more ideas and walk outs and like Next thing I'll be Aladdin going into the [ __ ] cage. I'll be on a carpet flying down into the cage like your man what's that boxer's name is Prince Nazim. He done it before now. I could do all that that kind of [ __ ] or I could fake jetpack into the cage GTA style. Who knows? [laughter] >> I love it. I love it. And look, we speak to the Octagon guys. They're so accommodating to that. How good is that? And how far in advance you need to like give them the vision before before it happens on on the night? >> Just a couple of weeks. Just a couple of weeks. And what we'll do is um we always can rehearse then as well. and like anyone else wants to rehearse if they're mixing up songs and they doesn't have to be just a maku or costumes and stuff but I'll say to them within two weeks three weeks they they'll actually ask me do I have a special walk or tell me yeah now you can do all these things or you can get singers in there maybe I'll do that one stage I'm having too much fun with these walkers for now but um maybe I'll get a singer in there some some Irish song or or some wolf tones to be walking >> flurry had his brother sing them out >> exactly sick song as well. The um forget the name of the [ __ ] song, but it was a rock song. It's Brock Lesnar used to walk up to it. >> It was It was It was actually I think it was Metallica. Yeah, it was Metallica. >> Sandman. Yeah. Yeah. Unbelievable. >> But yeah, I don't I don't not much notice. And then what we'll do is we'll rehearse on the Saturday. You like I'm over there in Munich. I get my way do the press conference, chill out, wake up in the Saturday, get my food into me, then go down to a ring and do a little rehearsse. you get me >> of when the tune is supposed to kick in and when you're remix into that song and what like where the walks are and who's there and >> so there's a lot of uh there's a there's a process to it for sure. >> Will you be doing the Brian Manning vlogs during the week as well? >> I don't think so as much this time, right? I I'll be doing them a bit but not as much this time. All the like obviously look this who I am. I like to like I'm fighting this fell not all shaky hands and hugging old bro I want to kill you. you know, as simple as that. If you want to kill me, obviously wants to kill me, you want to kill each other. So, I'm not very nicy nicy, and that's the way I'm going to be for these fights, the buildup, whatever. But I I maybe I'm not going to overdo it with the promotional kind of things or the the the uh vlogs and stuff. I just want to I'm focused to death on getting a win, on taking Battle out, on killing the bastard. I want to knock him out dead and that's it. I'm not focusing on anything else. I just need a win back here. I need a hype back. I need to be get back in the win column. Is that is that because of what happened to your last time out that >> Yeah, definitely because last time out I think I done so much the last fight I done remember I did the promo two weeks before I flew out there to his hometown that took the cost of three four days in total you know what I mean like [ __ ] staying there a couple of days and coming back and in Dublin and then it just took it took a bit a little bit off my training as well and then the promotional stuff over there even on the fight day remember me running around the car parks in my joker costume and all just a lot of energy tax and I'm just going to I will do all I have no problem in doing that because it's part of the game. But just on fight day and just before the just before the fight just relax a little bit, focus on the fight, put the field up, take your naps, eat your food, get your carbs into you and focus on getting a win, you know, >> then act the bollocks again after the fight and and get a next target. >> Yeah. Well, the thing is they absolutely loved you over there. They gave you a new contract as well before you even fight. >> Yeah. Straight away. And who else is getting this this um exposure? Who else is getting this on their third [ __ ] fight? You know what I mean? Getting fellas to like recently they got a fellow up here. He was in my house filming me and up in the gym filming me and they're going to put footage of that like an embedded kind of thing. We were in a [ __ ] shed and all the at one stage [snorts] >> and like who else is getting that in their third fighting on Europe's biggest promotion. I'm getting paid nicely off there. It's it's a nice um contract I got. I'm not complaining. As I said, my third fight >> and yeah, so we'll renegotiate. I'm going to blow B out the bottles. I'm going to spare him out heavy and we'll ne we'll renegotiate and and see what the future holds. >> Yeah, absolutely. Look, like I suppose when when it really comes down to it, they recognize what they have on their hands at the moment. Like you are you are someone who can go viral on all fronts for them. You you have the iconic walk out, but also you're you're in cage fight style is something that people love as well. You know what I mean? You want to throw hands. You're here for the violence. You're here for the heavy knockouts. You know what I mean? You put the pit hands away in the amateur career and hug. [laughter] >> Do you know what the snoozefest amateur careerh? The wrestler are blind that might have to come back as well because just out of a point to prove, you know, like these [ __ ] I wasn't even thinking that last against Pukak. It was like there was moments on the cage. I'm just trying to get off. I'm trying to break the grips. I'm trying to get off the cage. But why didn't I just turn into him with an underhook? Why am I start wrestling him? What does he like on the fence? What if I took him down? What's he like off his back? You know what I mean? I could have really punished him there. And I can do these things. People now think Brian, you've no wrestling, no grappling. I'm just going to need to show him. I'm going to need to show even though I love this. That's what I do. I want to entertain. I want to excite. But maybe I go to prove a point. Go back to amateur manning and do damage while I'm doing it. Big elbows. There's no elbows in the amateur. There big elbows now. So maybe I have to go back to that style and and and we'll see see what happens. I like that on the feet. >> Mix it up. What what was your reaction? What was your reaction like after I lost because obviously you're like like you're like a rocket ship. >> Devastating. >> Devastating. Because think of it like the last time I lost was when amateurs like 10 or 10 years ago. I was going to say [ __ ] uh three years ago. Over three years ago now. We pushing towards three and a half years ago. That was my last loss in the amateur. Well, besides the Pukatak fight obviously, but then taking that last 10 fight win streak, it was devastating and it was a it was a a nasty feeling and I it it was a I do not want to feel that again. Even after afterwards, we're trying to kind of shake it off and I was with my team and whatever and I just it was like it was like just a constant depression, you know, and it's something that I don't want to feel again. And that's why I went away and corrected all these things like there there is reasons, not many excuses. He came and he done his thing and he put his weight at me and he was bit like a brick and um he he fought the right fight and there was mistakes I made but I my reasons why I made those mistakes and I've corrected them and I'm going to come back a hell of a lot stronger. Look at the size of me. Look at the shape me boys. I'm telling you now I could be I'm going to be I could be a bigger pukak in here. Yeah. Yeah, let's start with these boys and see what happens cuz like it our gym is known for wrestling too. Our gym is known for wrestling, you know. MMA Cork is a big wrestling wall wrestling gym. But I think these Eastern Europeans will even be up to that against the cage, you know. So, it's just like I think Bass is deluded and he's just he's overconfident and he thinks that he's just going to walk over me and take me down and ragdoll me around the cage just because of what happened last fight. But, as I said, there was reasons why that happened and it's it's not going to happen again. Yeah, absolutely. Like I suppose looking at this guy as well, like he's he's very much a finisher as well. Like he's he's very much kill or be killed as well. So like >> Oh, >> yeah. Do you think that's going to make for killed? [ __ ] him. Sorry. >> You think that's going to make for a very exciting fight then? >> It will make for a very exciting fight. The little spinny pillow fist bastard is all he is. A [ __ ] sausage boozy bastard. As I say, he's a bald head. He's a [ __ ] Mr. Potato Head when he's that shaved head. The [ __ ] coloring book [ __ ] right? He [clears throat] hits like a [ __ ] feather. [snorts] He might come He might come and and and try make it a war, whatever. He's decent early on. I'm not stupid either, you know. I not underestimate anyone. Underestimating is is could be the result of a loss, you know. So, >> yeah, >> I think uh it'll make it interesting. It'll be a good fight. It'll be a battle on the feet for a bit, but I'll take over. I'll start breaking him. I'll start hurting him. And I start bullying him. And then I start laughing at him. [laughter] We're we're here for you. I mean, at the end of the day, like you mean, >> you're you're you're like that I'm going to call the anti-hero in Octagon. You're you actually I think you alluded to it earlier. >> I'm always against their eyes. >> Yeah. But I feel like you you're like Son Co Steve Awesome that way as in like Son Co Steve Awesome was a good was a bad guy that everyone cheered effectively. Like that's that's that's what he was and I feel like that's what you are. I feel like you know what I mean once once once the the glass hits or the entrance is on like you know what I mean? >> Put it this way you're fighting over Munich, right? And you're fighting against a Czech guy. If there's loads of German fans over there and then they see you do that walk out like they're not going to be like, "Oh, I got to cheer for the Czech guy." They're going to be like going to cheer for this crazy bastard. >> Yeah. Yeah. >> That's what some of them do. >> Some of them Yeah. I gain fans through that. You know, some people reach out to me doing messages like I get a lot of message requests and I love your walk. It was the best walk I've ever seen. Some fans telling me they're actually they were actually scared when I was when I when I was cycling out. I saw >> so like there was there I got fans of it definitely, but mostly it's always against me like as in I'm fighting their thereby. Same way I look at Pukak. Same way with Schwind. Two backyards I went to. This is pract too. He's the German Slayer. >> So against the Irish King boys, the German Slayer and he's [ __ ] Israel. He's an Israeli [ __ ] He's that in his bio. He also has [ __ ] um in Czech Republic or something. He has no hometown. So he's a no hometown bum. And I'm going to take him out in front of his people. the German Slayer. >> Have you had some proper back and forth in the DMs with them with >> Yeah. Yeah. We had some We had some >> words, right? We >> anything it's a it's it's fairly beefy. It's fairly beefy. We'll say that. Yeah. Yeah. [ __ ] him. I I want to hurt him. >> What's the What's the weigh- in going to be like when you go face to face? >> We'll see. >> Oh, really? [laughter] Do >> you ever see him? That's what he does. >> [ __ ] his little devil arms. the sausage on snapping. >> Oh, we love this, bro. >> Man, honestly, I know. >> I love a Brian Manning fight week, man. >> Yeah, it's gonna be it's gonna be, you know what it's going to be? It's going to be chaos and I love it. >> Yeah, absolutely. The pressure, everything. >> I'm going go at him. >> And and tell us this, come the end of the year, this I assume this going to be the last fight of the year for you. Um, who knows? >> I don't think it will be. >> No, you want more. >> More. Yeah. So, I'm going to spark back. No, we're not going to look ahead of them. Yeah, >> as I said, I have a task in hand. I'm focused. >> You wouldn't be buying money if you didn't call for 100 Prague December 29th. [ __ ] Christmas. I'll stay in the zone for Christmas. It will keep me away from the bad [ __ ] too. And I'll fight 29th of December after I start back up and then that's a great year. What's that four fight year? That'll be a solid year. Three in one. That'll be a solid year. >> Yeah, we need to see the nightmare. uh before Christmas. Yeah, man. Come out. >> Might walk over as the [ __ ] Grinch or something if Christmas time. [laughter] >> That could be a good one. >> Yeah. Well, you'll be you'll be grinching cutting that weight on the way to uh on the way to December 29th. We'd love to see you. I I think you know Oxyon 100's going to be probably their biggest show of all time. Massive main event. Uh Joo versus Murdo. Would have obviously loved seeing him with a flurry in there. H find Murdov in a rematch. It it is what it is. But like if you if Octagon want to get >> the most traction on their biggest show of the year, like no one's going to do more views than Brian Manning is and a Brian Manning Brian Manning Walkout, Brian Manning fight week. Like you're that guy who like might be on the undercard for that show and then that show happens and everyone's leaving Octagon 100 talking about Brian Manning. >> Yeah. Yeah. Exactly. That's what you do. >> But it's the same. Do you notice the pattern? It's every [ __ ] fight, man. Schwind like I was the talk of that night. went the walk out, the knockout. I was the whole talk of that show, you know. The same with the Pukak. Even though I I came up short, I was still the talk of that that fight as well. That was like the people's main event. No one give a [ __ ] about any other fight. >> Even the face off. The face off got like 3 million views, you know, the face off and I went over to Bratislava and I started shoving and pushing him and stuff. All that got all that views and then like as I said the people's main event, everyone's focus on that fight. >> I was going mad after. I wanted there was a press conference after. I went I wanted to be there and talk but I was told I need to be there. I was actually going mad over that cuz I wanted to I don't just cuz I had a I lost doesn't mean I want to go away and not I still want to be the same as I always am. You know what I mean? Face up to me talking and answer answer questions, you know? But I was going mad about that that [ __ ] the post fight press cuz I saw he brought his Michael Phelps classes and all the post fight press. >> Yeah. >> I was going and I started the whole trend in Michael Phelps and all that and the same with this B fighters most the promo was behind this behind our fight. We're top of the prelim built. You know what I mean? And they're acting like it's the main [ __ ] event. >> Yeah. >> So why would you not want to have me on any [ __ ] show, any promotion anywhere in the [ __ ] world? The same with um this octon 100k care. I must going to do a job. They'll be stupid enough to get me out there again. >> Yeah. Well, look, but it sounds like you're going to be in the middle rankings by the end of the year. Win here, win Oct by this this after this fight, I should be. And there's a fellow mix. Who the [ __ ] is Mick Stanton? Get him out. He's number 10. But you know who else is in there? Hukak's number nine. I know not these fell obsessed with getting rematches, but I go in and beat Bartle. I shout for Octagon 100. It has to make sense now. Has to make sense. Has to be a a fella from Czech Republic, you know. >> Yeah. >> And man Pennez is up there. He's booked for November. You have the other top of the rankings is um Hamburg Hamburger [laughter] Hamburger Hamburger against Kinkil. That's booked for January. The other guys are German. The other guys at the top are fighting for a title. There could only be top 10. I could call for Pukak again if he wants to go rematch in Prague. It could make a lot of sense, you know, but we'll see. It's the only one in that top 10 ranking that I could call for. Unless they want to give me someone unranked to finish the year and then we'll all talk about top 10 for next year. Do you get what I'm saying? >> Yeah. >> But I because I'm not like it needs to make sense. It needs to make sense. >> Yeah. >> Yeah. But like I I I think >> Pukak would be silly to turn down a chance to fight on Octagon 100 in front of a hometown and then% >> and like if Pukak wants to make the biggest noise with that fight, there's only one person to fight to make the most amount of noise. >> Yeah. Yeah. And it could it could be my chance to get one back and it's his chance to solidify his what he has over me. He has his my my number he could say or whatever he likes or not the lost. It's a good it's it's a nice and it's me into the top 10 as well. Me fighting he's in the top 10 now. He's number nine. >> Mick Stanton. Who the [ __ ] is Mick Stanton? [ __ ] him. [laughter and snorts] >> I think Mick was he was a Kick >> M. I think he was big must be nearly 40 now at this stage. Is >> he champ? >> Yeah. >> So like >> Brian scrian we have to give >> but see the thing is he's where's he from? He's [ __ ] English or something or Scottish or whatever. >> He's English. Yeah. >> It wouldn't be make sense calling him out going to a 100, you know. >> Yeah. No. No. Just mean the fight in general at some stage will be >> Yeah. Yeah. Maybe. Maybe. >> Yeah. Brian, we we have to obviously give a shout out to Lee Fighting Championships 10 that goes down on the 14th of November. Um, obviously Barry Kalan's doing great things. 10th show. What you make of what's going on in Cork with what Barry's doing for Irish mixed martial arts? >> There's nothing Barry Calling can't do. I tell you that much. [ __ ] physio, promoter, manager, fighter. He's going to fight no. He's going to fight the next. >> Oh, is he? [laughter] >> Who's he fighting? Adam, >> he's a he's a serious um serious operator. >> Juju athlete as well. I get some you get some great rolls off Barry, man. And he's doing plenty and he's doing he's doing great work with EFC like this. I know the numbers of tickets have been sold. I won't release anything, but it's been a a massive amount of tickets sold. It's probably going to be the biggest EFC yet. I'd say it'll be packed out. I say it's going to be packed out and it's going to be a great show. There's a lot of pro fights, a lot of title fights and EFC is slowly climbing into the best promotion in it not around the region. You know, >> I think I think it has to be has to be number one. has to be number one >> if he if he pulls this show like off like it could easily be the best in the country like eight pro fights in the south of Ireland you messing >> 100% 100% >> yeah that's >> there's going to be crazy numbers of this show EFC and I'll be I'll be in attendance so bring it on >> and roll on EFC after after I do the business over in Munich two weeks after >> we're we're in negotiations at the moment to get Barry Kullen on the show as well Brian so >> get him down get Get get him on the show. >> He's very expensive. >> He should come down as well to EFC. Do some interviews. Get get that maybe talk about that in the podcast or whatever. >> That's Yeah, we'd be interested to do that. The funny thing is >> interview me as well. >> Yeah. But see the thing is that same night Chaos Fighting Championships is on exactly in the exact same night as well. >> This Irish MA scene like look as you know yourself no one covers it like myself and Ross. So uh and I think >> Yeah, exactly. >> So we have to get down. It's been [ __ ] two. It's been how many shows now? EFC 10 judgment day going down November 14th. What a card it is. Ryan Shelly in the main event. It's very rare you see a fighter as experienced of him on the domestic scene. Amy Scully making her pro debut in the co-main event, but unbelievable eight pro fights. Alex Fagan looking for his first pro win. Ross Carney coming off an unbelievable performance down at the last EFC looking to get another win on under his belt. Jordan Skully making his pro debut. Barry Kendy making his long-awaited pro debut. H Sarah Elliot Cheran also making her pro debut. And Er Darcy's first fight outside a cage tonight. >> Unbelievable. This is going to be a card and a half. We also have the likes of Jake and Guy on the show. Shane Carney, Sean Carney, the Carmonies EFC 10 could be one of the best cards Ireland has ever seen. Make sure to be there. Make sure to catch the stream. It is going to be an absolutely epic night. Bario Callahan take an absolute bow. >> Brian Manning, will you be there as well? 100%. >> I I'll be there. Yeah, I'll be there. It's about time maybe. Am I But they have their own commentary crew. I not really [laughter] me and the commentary about now. It'd be bad news like I [laughter] think announce the next next. Yeah. I I think just to top the show off, you should do an interview an interview. An inter interview in the cage and an entrance >> just an interview. Do you know what though? It could be Yeah, maybe an interview. Maybe something like that or like the day maybe there'll be another you see and I say I'm fighting for a title and octagon but to be world champ maybe these things could happen and stuff but we'll see. We see way it goes. I'll definitely be there in attendance. I'll do whatever's >> Yeah. Or or do I will do it, you know. I'll help out and I will jump in the boot. I will do whatever. We'll see. >> Yeah. Yeah. Or even knows me. He knows me like the back of my hand. He knows I ain't built for commentary. I'm built to be inside the cage, not to the cage. [laughter] >> Yeah, it be it'd be even cool to have you like announce EFC 11, you know what I mean? When the next one's on. >> Yeah, definitely. But it's a great card. All the fights you named out there, man. [ __ ] who else is doing that in Ireland in the regional scene? Who else? There's no one no one else doing that, man. That's a serious lot of >> That's unbelievable. Carry on. That is that's >> Yeah. Yeah. >> Very exciting stuff. >> Lot of chances for these fighters coming up. >> Yeah. >> So, bring it on. >> We're obviously going to wrap things up for you. You're a very busy man. Brian Manning, he's back at Octagon 96 this Halloween on Saturday. Ross, uh, sorry, Brian, is there anything you want that will be tuning in? >> What is that? >> Anything you want to say to the people tuning in now? Looking forward to >> get ready for horror. A big big drama show. A big horror show. Halloween night. You cannot miss it. Nothing more to say. Let's go. >> Brian, thanks very much for your time and best of skill this weekend. Yeah, do the work. >> Appreciate it, boys. Appreciate it. >> Diana Joy show up the Orish. >> So Ros, that was Brian Manning. >> Your favorite Manning, man. [laughter] >> Yeah. Hey, Charlie. >> Definitely. Charlie's the best man. >> Yeah, he is. No, he's the the Mannings are good skins. H look obviously very entertaining character. Always like very entertaining for us to have on the show as well. And at the end of the day, he gets in the cage and does the business as well. Like, it's not it's not it's not just all the entertainment front. So, looking forward to seeing what Brian Manning does come fight night um this coming Saturday over in Munich. It's going to be a sight to behold on Halloween night. >> Yeah, you had to get Brian Manning on for a Halloween special, Ross. Um yeah, we also got to give a shout out to the people tuning in as always supporting us. So, if you are new to the show, make sure to like and subscribe and you can also hit the hype here on YouTube. As you know, everything is absolutely free and we are here every week and I'm pretty sure the people tuning in now like enjoyed Brian Manning because he's just so funny on the camera man as well. It's just so funny. >> Yeah. But uh look and it's the entertainment game. That's why Octagon gave him a brand new contract before he even fought his last fight. >> Yeah, exactly. Um, we have to give another shout out to a fellow Corkoneian MMA fighter as SPG Corks Fufu Farrez won at UAE Warriors on Thursday night. Ross Fufu Farez, he's 5-0 now. Where do you see him going in 2027? >> Yeah, look, obviously he seems to be doing great things with UAE Warriors. They seem to love him over there and rightfully so. He is a very, very entertaining fighter. He's a very highly skilled fighter. I think I would just like to see him either fighting at bantamweight or flyweight. I'd love to see him actually fight in a weight class and make his way towards a belt and I think he's not far away from a belt. Um he is absolutely energized Bunny from start to finish. Like the man like never gets tired. His cardio is absolutely relentless. His striking is very very slick. And look, I'm I'm I'm here for it. I think he is a bonafide star in the making over there. I think he's got all the tools they want. He's good on the mic. He's got the look. He's got the fight style. I think Fufu Farre is definitely someone to keep on your radar. And he's also someone who UA Warriors should be locking up in a a nice fight contract. >> Yeah, I'd agree. He's definitely the face of Irish MMA on UAE Warriors at the moment. Then um we also have to give a shout out to Ty Ganon who fights out of Dublin Combat Academy only 18 years old. He's had to get another win now and he won by decision over the weekend. Ross like watching back from some of the highlights like this guy this guy could be the limit for this guy and obviously you don't want to blow up someone being like oh they this is the guy but I feel like this is the guy. >> Yeah well look he seems to have it all. Uh Toy Gon he really does. Um he's going in there, you know, he seems to be the younger fighter every time. I'm sure as I said, he's only 18. You know, he just did the leaving shirt. H I think he was coming off his first loss as well. Seems to be unfazed. Seemed to really go in there and like he landed some absolutely beautiful strikes throughout the fight. He he seems to be the guy on the Irish scene who people are getting behind. H I think him himself and Tom Co are really have done incredible things for Irish Muay Thai. um off the back of like someone like Craig Kley who you know obviously paved the way for a lot of these guys and now he's retired like you're like I I suppose in combat sports you're always looking who's next. >> Yeah. >> And Tom Kio I think is at like the the pinnacle of the sport over in one and I think Ty Ganon is the next guy up and like it's nice to have more than one guy who you're looking forward to fighting each week. You know what I mean? >> Yeah. Um, who knows the the Muay Thai guys. Obviously myself and Ross aren't absolute staunch Muay Thai fanatics like we when we see it's on we'll make sure to shout out and promote it as best we can. So I wouldn't be surprised if Tyana fights again to be honest. But um um Ty uh Tom Ko is fighting a one championship on the 27th of November as well. So we'll be looking forward to that. Uh speaking of uh that as well, Nemesis events happened over the weekend. So like everyone that took part in that hopefully it was a great show. And then Ross Clan Wars 56 happened yesterday up in Belfast and unfortunately in the main event team Rhino's Brian Draper was defeated and after the fight it looked like he broke his arm as well. >> Yeah, very unfortunate for Brian Draper. He broke his arm very early on the fight and then suffered a TKO loss to Christian Constantinov. Uh, look, Constantinov did his job. He went in there. Uh, landed some really big knees, got the job done. Um, fair play to him. He fights out of Phantom and uh, yeah, just you you don't like to see some have such a bad injury in the opening moments of uh, their pro debut. So hopefully we'll get to see the big sexy back sometime in a cage uh, near you probably in 2027. >> Yeah. Then also this week we just the only uh Irish fighter fighting this week is Brian Manning. So that's why all eyes are going to be on Brian. That's why we thought it was a great idea to have him on the show this week. And then also we have to discuss what happened over the weekend at UC 333. As in the main event, Alexander Vulcanoski defended his UC featherweight title against Mozar Eve. Ross the Vulk 38 years old. Where do you see him going from here, man? I think he's at he's he's really really at the sort of tail end of his peak of his powers. I'm going to say uh I think that was an absolutely sensational performance. Uh one thing about Vulcanowski I think that gets underestimated is his presence in the cage. And when I mean that isn't he's going in against like these Dagistani guys and then he was going in against Eve this time around. Not from Dagistan. Evo just thought I put that out there. Uh but he's going in against these high level grapplers and he's getting taken down at times. No panic. The man's face like like when he when Islam Makachev had him uh down had his back he was talking to him and doing these little punches over the back of his head at all times. So I think his cage presence is next next to none. His fight IQ is next to none. I think that's part of the reason why he's been able to be so successful with that level of longevity. As much as he's got lots of physical attributes and lots of skill, he his fight IQ has really held him on this long. And I suppose he he's almost like for me the modern day GSP. You want to see this guy go out on top. You don't want to see him just keep on going until the wheels fall off. So for me, if he wants to a crack at Justin Gi at the lightweight belt, why not let him have it? him versus Justin Gachi. And I wouldn't be surprised if both men roll ride off into the sunset off the back and we go from there. And I think maybe you know the next featherweight title fight could be I don't know John Silva versus Almaain Sterling and then the next lightweight title could be Arman Sukin versus IPA. You know what I mean? I'm here for I'm here for those fights. I think that's a great idea for the divisions to move on. So then, okay, so you'd want Vog to move up to try and fight Gachi >> and they both retire regardless. >> The thing is like that sounds like a beautiful story, but the thing is like these guys always want to come back and do one more. You know, [snorts] it it's it's also hard to walk away as the champion cuz as the champion you're making the most amount of money from a financial perspective. So, it understand you understand why these guys fight until they lose because every time they keep winning, there's a bigger payday on the horizon. And like it's very hard to walk away from one last payday. One last payday cuz you're like one last payday. I I don't know. I'm just going to guess, right? Just say Vulk made like three million for that fight, right? After all the benefits or whatever else, right? Three million. You could be like, "Oh, that could buy my kids two gaps." You know, you know what I mean? Like you constantly can look at your future and and be like right what's what could that money do for my family in the future or you know am I fighting like I could be fighting for my grandkids gaffs you know what I mean you constantly be looking at these things and seeing what's cuz Vog seems very like lowkey to me like he seems like someone who like I'm sure he has lovely nice flows and but like he seems like he'd be happy enough living in like quite a decent size gaff and having a barbecue at the back Yeah, >> you know, same with Gachi. Gachi, I've seen Gachi's gaff like it's not it's nothing actually out of this world. It's not like a mansion type thing, you know what I mean? So, >> yeah, [clears throat] >> these guys, it's very hard for them to say no to one more payday. >> It also depends how you lose as well. >> Yeah, true. >> Like if you go through an absolute war and you're like, "Oh my god." >> Yeah. >> Whereas like >> if you get shot this way, if you was like 10 more fights into his career and then the White House happened, like that'd be him doing. >> Yeah. You know what I mean? >> Yeah. So, >> if that was Gage, if Gage lost the way Victoria did at the White House, that would be Gage done. >> Well, the thing is now we should at this rate have a poll out. Who should Alexander Vulcanoski fight next? So, Ross, give us two options on the top of your head. >> For me, well, like one is definitely obviously I said it there, it's it's it's the Gatey fight, you know what I mean? Like I think number one, like that would be a huge fight, but number two, like that would obviously be an absolute banger fight, but >> that'd be Falconowski's third attempt at the World Lightweight title. >> Yeah. And and if he's not fighting him, I think he should fight John Silva next because there's a bit of there's a small little bit of backstory beef there that Mauricio Huofi left the fighting nerds to join Alexander Vulcanovski's team. So there's a bit of a a backstory in there. >> Yeah, I saw him in the cage there. I was like, what? >> Yeah. So you can sort of insert that into it. In fairness, Vulcan obviously actually was like he can still be with the fighting nerds as well. He came to train over here, but then the fighting nerds got annoyed and kicked him out. So uh I think I I think that's that's the other option. >> Is is he enough of a cell Jill that like is Alma Sterling not in a is he run? You can make the exact same about um Mosvar. Like he's not a really big >> Yeah. >> cell. So like >> V is a cell. >> Yeah. That you know what that's why he he'll probably want the GI fight now instead actually. You know I mean it's like that make he wants the money fight. >> Yeah. That's why Vog is the Vog is the draw and he's the >> put it this way. If Vog fights um Sterling, I don't think it does much more. You know what I mean? >> I'm sure I'm sure say if say if Faulk fought Mobsar in like Kansas, he I doubt he would have got as much money as he did because it was over in like Abu Dhabi, wasn't it? >> Yeah, exactly. >> Then Ross in the co-main event, Pan defeated Morabash Philly again. This fight was absolutely electric. They've ran it back three times now. I wouldn't mind seeing a fourth. >> Yeah, absolutely. Um, look, very, very close fight. I had Morab rounds one and two and then Yan took over from round three and won the rest of them. Um, very interesting here because I feel like there's two really good fights for Por Yan next. I don't think Morab is going to get another another crack at it straight away. I think he's going to have to win one. But you have obviously the you can reintroduce the rivalry between Pota Yan and the Sugar Show Sea Ali which is obviously a massive commercial draw as well or the man who probably deserves it from a fighting standpoint but doesn't always happen that way. Song Dong after his massive knockout over Umar and Magameov. I think like both of those are uh really good wins. If UFC want to paint it that they get Omali to win. Omali three fights ago beat Sona Dong. So they could be like, "Oh, well, he beat you, so therefore we're given to him, which they probably will do, but uh Sona Dong is someone who could definitely fight on that card as well and be the backup uh who knows what way to go, but uh Pod Yan, unbelievable stuff, uh out of him. Like his takedown defense second to none. Right up there. Everything I said about Vulcanovsky's fight IQ, I could say the exact same about Pans. Like there was a moment where there was like a 10-second stalemate where Panama was like upside down sort of defending a takedown and it was just insane to see. I was like I was like I've never seen this scenario before but uh yeah he's just his takedown defense was absolutely solid. His boxing was absolutely solid. Um and again like Morab is a tough character to beat and to beat him back to back by decision just goes to show the level that Pan's at and we've sort of seen that for years that Pan Yan had that capability in him but uh he's he's really sort of come on leaps and bounds and he looks like the guy to beat. >> Yeah, it was really nice to see him with his kids in the octagon as well standing right beside him when that happened. I I don't think that happens very often >> like even Yeah, very often at all to be honest. Um then um like for people that don't know Pan and also Paul Kenoski obviously both and doubleand still over the weekend but their old coach in Thailand is from Dunny Gaul is John Boy John Hutchinson. >> Yeah banger. >> Yeah. So like it it's very interesting and if you focus on the striking a lot like you can see that they're sort they it's they are similar in ways in their striking. So it was it's funny how they got it from Donny Gman. >> Yeah absolutely >> few hints and tips there. You never know what you're getting on this bleed and show Rosco. But uh >> absolutely. >> We also have to give a shout out to Lonnie Kavanaaugh who got a win as well uh against Timurov. Um, Ross in the flyweight division, round one, uh, KO, TKO. >> Yeah. >> Um, I I like the way he finished this fight and then took his time while Tarov was trying to get back up. And then also, it was very funny how the ref like like pushed him miles away when it was over. >> Yeah. Well, like I suppose if you look at the landscape of that division, we have a booked in next like Joshua Van's going to fight Minnell Cape next, right? So like those two are off the board, right? H Pantosia is ranked number two. obviously he he just lost the van like that could be a next good match up for Lonnie Kavnet Brandon Voy Val he's also fought h for the belt so has uh Tatsuro uh Terrera and then uh Alu al-MBA is actually fighting Heraguchi next uh on November 21st >> so looks like looks like Lonnie Kabet could be fighting former champion Alejandro Panto next as a good option >> did you see when he did the flip the after the whole arena went quiet and then made it like a massive like wow, you know, it was it was actually quite funny because they all did it in unison. It was funny. >> Um, then Ross, uh, another one I have to give Aaron Pico a shout out as well for getting his win in the Father Division, but Ross, I have to ask you this question as well. Alexander Volkov won by decision in round three. Ross, I don't know if you saw the the press conference or >> do you think Dana White knew who Volkov was? Yes or no? >> No. >> I thought he did know. I I I think he knew after Vulcanowski told him, but I I I also think standing up on that that stage and stuff like that, I wonder is it hard to actually see who's asking you the question? >> Well, the thing is he's also Yeah. Well, I'd say that, but like >> he's also like sort of deaf, isn't he? One >> Yeah, he is. Yeah. >> So, like maybe he wasn't watching >> and like to see who it was straight away. Like he was taking the question in but without really looking. But like I don't like I don't think you need V tell him the second the the the second time. >> No no no I think he knew and then he was trying to play along. But it's not really a Dana White thing to play along. So >> yeah. >> Yeah. >> Look it was definitely strange. But I I think Vulov is the next man up up at heavyweight cuz look serial Gan's going to fight Josh Hul at next number four. Volkov just beat number five in Kunv. Um we don't see Pavlovich getting the next shot. Pereira needs to get a win and Tom Osp is not back anytime soon. So therefore, I think Volkov is the next man up. >> Yeah, [snorts] like he's putting a string together. Volov like I mean you have to sort of give credit where credit's due. Um >> Oh, I I don't not I don't not like him. I think he's a good character. >> Yeah. The only problem is he goes to decision a lot. That's his third decision in a row. >> There you go. >> Yeah. Maybe Dana White should have been get a finish. [laughter] >> Ruthless man. Dana White is not ruthless, but that was ruthless. Um, then Ross, the UFC returns this Saturday, Halloween, man, as Ronaldo Moano is taking on Tom Nolan in the main event of the UFC Meta Apex. Ross, >> stared main event. >> Ronaldo Moano is 37 years old, 217-1 taking on Tom Nolan 11 and one. Is this going to be a Ronaldo win or is it a new big name coming into the division? >> Look, I I think Tom Nolan has every chance of getting the job done here. Uh it's rank 12 versus rank 14. The the odds are the odds are pick them. And when they are pick them, it's it's really can can Nolan go in there and sort of make himself a name on the on the uh UFC lightweight rankings. I think I think he could. Uh he beat Zam in his last fight. That's that's that's a good win for me. Uh he's beat uh as a Slavoc Claus is that we call him. >> Yeah. >> Before in the past. So like look, he's got some big wins. Obviously a massive step up in competition to fight Moano. Moano's fought the very best in this division. But uh look, I think it's time for some new blood. You have to wonder like how many like what's what's Moano's drive at the moment. You know, >> moneyo. >> Yeah. Tom Nolan's 5-1 in the UFC. Mo like just like his last win was against another sort of upandcomer. I think he's going to be that guy now. He's going to be the sort of gatekeeper into the maybe >> Yeah, potentially though. Uh but yeah, I don't know. I just don't see it in >> Mo beat Chris Duncan by submission last fight. >> Yeah, obviously obviously that's that's a great win. Like I I think if Mo is going to win, he's probably going to win in round one. You know what I mean? I think he's one of those guys who's very very good early on, but as as the time goes on in the fight, I think he he he's not as good. But look, he's got some devastating strikes. He's got good Brazilian jiu-jitsu. He's he's he's effectively I would say a worse version of Charles Olivera. >> Mo is uh he's doing a backto-back main event in the Apex. So we'll keep people up to date in that as well. Ross, as always, man. >> So as we said earlier, Brian Manning fighting this Saturday, October 96. Make sure to check it out. Like I mean we'll be covering it throughout the week. Like the walk out, everything about it is just great entertainment. very fitting for um Halloween week. Then UFC is obviously going down this Saturday as well. Um Ross, anything else you want to say to people tuning in? No, I I think that's it for me at the moment, man. Uh I just want to say thanks a million for everyone for their continued support and love. Uh we really really do appreciate it. As B said, make sure to give this video a hype. Uh leave a like, leave a comment, and look, we'll see you next week as we always do. So, thanks a million for all all the love. Happy Halloween and as always, stay energized. >> Live from the Mecca, the world's most famous arena, Madison Square Garden. Yeah, it is [music] time. [screaming] Introducing first fighting out of the blue corner. This man is a podcaster and [laughter] he's been a diehard UFC fan for eight years. His favorite fight of all time is Bobby Lawler versus Rory McDonald at UFC 189. He fights out of his hometown, Dublin, Ireland. Please welcome Ross the champ. >> Yes, >> the enjoy show up the Irish. It's the face that runs the place Chaos Cortis. I want to thank the Irish MMA community so much for getting behind me. York, the chaos cartel.
