[Music] I'm here with Jamie and this fight is very highly anticipated he's gonna be fighting on Clan Wars the 50th show so it's a historic show and and the buildup for this fight is like nothing I've kind of ever seen in an amateur amateur buildup is very heated there's a lot to it I want to thank you very much for for your time uh how are you it's fight week a chance to get a a shot at another belt so how's fight week looking for you all good bro all good um done my last hard session there yesterday and I'm just taking it easy getting the water in the getting the weight down that's the main thing but yeah everything's good everything is ground and obviously you're going to be fighting for another belt how does it feel like you've come so far in such a short space of time and there's just belts on the line everywhere for you at the minute how does like does this feel surreal the way this has kind of gone for you in such a short space of time uh wee bit but at the same time I was always saying that that's where I was going to be black very soon so I'm just doing what I was saying I was going to do anyway so I knew it was going to be there but yeah the fact that I'm getting the fight for them is unreal and the chances I'm getting unreal too so yeah I'm buzzing to pick up an our Bel here yeah so obviously the last time I seen you fight in person it was it was a c and obviously Robert Barrett was quite experienced and you went in and and that was a quick finish and then that that real kind of took off into the the the sphere of Instagram and went crazy how did it to finish someone so quickly and who has that much experience and and what was the like winning that Bel at Akuma it was Lethal the but I actually not going to lie whenever I got in I forgot the belt was even on the line it was so focused on taking Robert out but yeah I've had bights better ones than that I think um like whenever I fought K hit he he was I had a lot more fights and stuff than Rob so I was fing I I think even still now that that's more like a better better so when I took out in 40 seconds took that first foul out Josh Mo in like 11 seconds or something so I'm used to finishing them fast and finishing them first but uh at a come it was on CU I just was fully zoned in focused I knew exactly what I was going to do and I just pulled off exactly what I said I was going to do and what I thought it was going to do head so whenever the b r me squealing that was me thinking holy [ __ ] was even for the Bel two Buzz that just smoked them so yeah that was a good Buzz yeah know it was a fantastic show it was well ran I really like that Akuma show but obviously this weekend with the the 50th Anniversary they've done all the bells and whistles they had the likes of the press conference H they're doing a lot more media than they usually would how does it feel to be part of a show like this and then fighting for a title on the show like what would it mean to you to to win the title on the 50th show for for them it would be the biggest thing ever that's happened to M like that's from before I started training obviously Dora was training uh or fighting for clown War so I was like that's the show I want to be fighting on that's the show I want to win the batt on and stuff and I said door that's what I be doing and that was two years AG I and I'm I'm doing it on possibly the main event I feel like I should be the main event no matter what and PLL say running go I should be the main event yeah because I see Gary Rooney's fight is off so I would presume Lewis will go to the top of the card as the pro one because they nearly lost that fight as well yesterday so fair play to on pulling the back and like I said we talked about the press conference I think it was quite cool it was really professional I think the way they've kind of that their production now is is it was always good it's got even better since they've got sponsorship from for out at the press conference there was a little bit of a a heated moment with yourself and Peter and this seems to be steming back like is do you like this going into fight do you not like it or does it even bother you is it your character that you just don't care uh I'd rather no other the person I'm fighting than just rock up on the day and see them and fight them so the fact that I know him and I know I've known him for before that and stuff like that there it's I'm I'm more excited for this fight than any other fight and obviously the fact that it's CL war and title and all that there all stuff that I've been looking for that's that's it once B Peter have got it so yeah wasn't can't win yeah no it's good and and as an opponent he's quite experienced as well like how do you R Peter how do you feel you match up against him obviously we don't want to go into game plans but he is a very good test for you no matter what the feelings there between you yeah I think Peter's very good I I just think that I'm so much better than everyone else pretty much and not sound like to be up my own house or anything like I just do feel like I'm better than I feel like I can pull submissions from anywhere in the actual fight sometimes and training I'm not the best R but in an actual fight scenario feel like I'm the best so I think he is good and like I've said it every interview near that anyone can win any fight like I could have walked out that last fight Robert could have hit me a super [ __ ] uppercut and knocked me clean out but he he didn't and I felt in my head that he wasn't going to do it and this time again I feel like I'm gonna do it again so H yeah that's I just feel like whatever he does I'm going to be able to figure figure it out pretty much yeah because because a big part of the fight game especially is we seen it the weekend with tyan Lon he had a very bad first round uh and then he was able to come back H how like how much do you think fight IQ is essential in the fight game and is that something you and when you're in the corner you work on changing the game plan if it's but you don't really go to the corner that much to be honest do you I believe into the corner and the B cany fight I'm pretty sure and on the B cany fight there was a little [ __ ] going on outside the camp and I didn't really train the best to shoot of I was absolutely gas and the first thing I said the door was I can't do alls this here and he just goes you [ __ ] have to that's the only I could remember from the corner but uh yeah uh I'm just trying to think um I think that's up yeah no no and then so you're going be fight for this one there is the bit of heat I've never seen Peter so wound up I've never seen him like that sort of way so do you feel getting underneath his skin helps you in the Mind Games leading up or do you think I just I'm just having fun with it bro you I mean like you said yourself you're you're what I feel like to be in this position I think it's awesome now but I'm going to make the most of it like while I'm here why would I not why would I not take opportunity while I can like I'm just having fun doing what I love to do so yeah yeah so potentially another title this weekend we're going to touch on we're not going to go too far into it because obviously You' got P your head another title then on your Fighting Championship like this is going to be back to back to back title I say that was just back to back to back to back back to back like Drake and then to have this run a title fights then this is must be I've sort of known I've sort of known said from the start of the year I've been fully booked I've known I was going to get the opportunities that cuz I'm knock going everyone out I'm selling all the tickets I'm and you know what I mean like I'm I'm putting my asses in seats and that's what the shows are looking to and I'm on top of that I'm knocking everybody out so why would I not be getting the chances getting but I said from the start I was going to be there I was going to be getting them chances so from the start of this year I've known I was fighting for the chaos one I've known I was fighting for well didn't know about they came one like but I just figured some other show would pop up and give one and lo beh it did and then I knew it was going to end up fighting for the Clown Wars one cuz Tech took out five old people on clown wars or whatever the am of people is so it's sural and it's unreal all but I'm just focused and looking to get them and I'm um I'm not let anything get them ahead yet or anything like that yeah cuz I mean you had a conversation at one stage it would have been true voice notes and you said to me like you would think it have gone away unless there was loads of title fights and he said you could see two or three title fights down the line and and here we are two or three you've got two TI fights four and then melen as well doesn't usually bring people in for their first fight fight for a Titan you usually have to fight on that show that just that just shows as well so you've had a fantastic you've had a a crazy two years and I just like your enthusiasm and like putting asses in seasons one and someone told me you're a massive massive ticket seller as well and then put on the show when you're there what else what El do shows want to want from you yeah yeah yeah big time yeah that's I think of it too yeah cuz it's it's like like that it is prize fighting you need to be putting the asses in seats and I like that you're doing that and then you're doing the performances as well so just like that you're going to keep getting more and more and more but look it's fight week I'm going to let you go because I know obviously you're busy you have a lot of stuff on is there
