MMA In Depth episode 08 features Nahom Wedi, who describes himself as the current Clan Wars champion, discussing his path from Eritrea to Ireland at age 12, bullying and street fights in Dublin, and finding martial arts through jiu-jitsu before building striking at Dublin Combat Academy, CMAC MMA, and later SPG while still training at DCA. He recounts his amateur career from a first-fight win over Ronan Tomnay through IMMAF trips to Romania (silver) and Bahrain (loss in the final to the gold medalist after finishing a Mexican opponent), a K1/FFC title win over Shay Leehan, and a COVID-era year in Dubai training with Dan Hooker. Wedi explains winning the Clan Wars belt against Lewis after roughly two and a half years away, defending against Damien McKenna, and preparing for Aaron Herchick on 25 September in Belfast. He emphasizes mental health, self-defense, hard gym work over learning from fights, confidence in fight predictions based on preparation, loyalty to coaches Craig, Kali, and John Kavanagh, and long-term goals of turning pro and reaching the UFC.

[Music] okay so i'm here today with nahom bless weddi the current clan wars champion um how are you today no i'm great i'm great how was yourself man thanks for having me thank you very much for taking the time out because we know you have a fight coming up we're going to go through your career and but i want to start from the beginning and when did you move over to ireland here at the age of 12 i was i obviously lived in i was born in eritrea asmara i was the capital city um as a young kid i was always bald er you know always got invites always caused trouble from my family so for better education i came to uh ireland at the age of 12. and uh yeah ever since then over here and then from coming from where you came from to here how did you find the integration how did how did you settle how did you find that at first when you came over is that such a young age as well that it's kind of it's it's it's a weird age to be moving from one country to another because you're in that weird teenage year so what was it like well like anything else like moving into any foreign country it's always going to be different i'm looking at people that i've never looked in my life you know what i mean um the culture is different the tradition is different the actual way they speak the language in itself is different so when as a kid i i enrolled in alcohol school so i'm like looking at these people and i'm like wow like when am i like i thought it was in the movies this is the type of people i actually seen in the movies yeah so then i had to actually get used to the way they talk the way the like everything was here you know and uh now you couldn't you'd be mistaking me if you just heard me so yeah man yeah no 100 you've got to slang down you sound probably more irish than i do and the way you talk and the way you predict yourself you get that a lot yeah yeah yeah what you do is yourself and uh uh your teammate as well from dca dennis is kind of the same as well yeah the two of us have kind of take her according to me so what what else when you came when you came over here was there anything challenging was or yeah man absolutely like i was i was a different like from everyone so it's like i was someone to start on or like you know that's why i wanted to initially begin i wanted to begin like my fighting career or not even start my fighting career but now how to defend myself because everybody would look at me and they'd be like oh this small kid whatever and i was bald as i said so like i couldn't respect or like i wouldn't take anything that someone else would say to me so it's straight away start a fight and i got in literally fights love our dublin one every every two days and uh i said to myself wow like you know when i built the fight i felt something different but then i'm like what's that feeling so i was i was like that adrenaline that i used to get and um sawdust i was like nah i need to learn how to fight so i wanted i walked around trying to to find a karate club i couldn't find any karate clubs then i started football and i wasn't too good at it as a small kid they were breaking me or whatever i tried to get the ball and i tried i used to look up to ronaldo i destroyed the bum they just take me off the smoke so i was like wow that's not for me is it but uh then i be i tried to run i wasn't so good at it so i couldn't really find anything that that actually suited me but i consistently got into fights so one one of the days i met one of my friends jack fischer he was telling me i'm a black belt in a uh toy condo whatever he told me and he was like where are you trying it was this gym uh living on i was like oh training and live and eyebrow and he was lying found out he was lying so shout out to jack fitzgerald so um anyways um i was like roy almost started here so i came here and the first thing was it was jiu jitsu class and i'm rolling with a kid and the kid just anyhow tapping me out left right and center so i was like wow this is this is where i need to be so ever since then i just never looked back yeah now you find that a lot of stories when that people go to jits like i know a guy big muscle guy who went to jits and he said oh this piece he's less small like i said he goes what he's got like he said kids and all what are these guys doing to me and now i think he's he's really high up in the jits and he's big so i won't ever messing with him and so from coming there like how did you progress on then through the different martial arts like because obviously you're in cmac for a while you uh you're currently in spg and you still train dc like how did those motions how did they get sent yeah so i began training here i think i was like 17 and i began training her jiu jitsu for a year straight i was doing gay naughty but they didn't have any type of strogan so then i wanted to learn strogan so dca have already moved here then by that time so i'm like okay i'm going to do a bit of training in here and i i looked at you know kali and craig and the way they train and i was like i always wanted to be like craig craig was like the guy that i actually look up to and uh the way he strikes you've witnessed to me yourself like he's he's like it's like watching a movie like you know what i mean um yeah and then i was like i'm gonna have to be to that level before he can be that level with the way i'm doing jitsu right now i'm gonna be unstoppable but to get to that level obviously isn't easy as you know you come here colleague corrects you you have to be to attain it's correcting you uh craig ugly then when you're sparring it's not it's not easy especially for you know it's obviously you're not going to get bullied or you're not you're not going to that's not going to happen but you're going to be pushed to your limits to be a world champion you have to be pushed to your limits but i didn't like that at the time i'm like man that's this is getting this is still hard man so i'm like nah man i don't know maybe just stick together i still got jiu jitsu and uh i joined cmic and my stroking just kept going levels and levels but then i joined back dca i got the balls going back to dca so then i just never looked back since and now i'm training in spg better environment better people and better bodies more bodies you know but we still train where are you always trained as well so keep on forward yeah no that's obviously you want a progressive shakira and career obviously i've been to cmac i spoke to you you have great time for everyone right great people that you've met along the journey as well and they've all had great things to say about it look what they're doing right now uh look what they're doing you know i don't i don't remember any of them losing last time so it's a great gym and that that kind of escalate me up to where i am right now so thanking every single one of them yeah no 100 so do you want to get into your amateur career now where you started like tell me what the emotions were your first fight going in like the week of the fight obviously you would have done jits and stuff for like your first kind of amateur fight what kind of emotions feelings you get going into that yeah so the first guy i fought was ronan tommy at the time he would have been 24 i would have been 17. uh i was i was a white belt the guy was ranked blue belt that's higher than me so i'm like wow i'm expecting like this guy is gonna absolutely like it's gonna be a good fight so i went in there and i finished them in one minute so that boosted my my confidence or ego as you whatever you want to call it and i'm like wow i can do this um i might as well get ready for the spotlight because the spotlight felt good nothing fails better than winning a fight even if you lose like when you're in that under the la under that and you perform there's nothing that's going to be the 100 so for anybody out there that's if you are depressed if you are anyway not feeling right or anything just try martial arts you don't have to be a foyer you don't have to be the best at doing anything i just recommend they join martial arts and even one or twice just for you you know and it'll change your life it changed mine you know 100 it's like i said you don't even have to be a fighter so it sounds like you've experienced from that would you like to expand on that absolutely so um basically i got bullied and i was looked over by people and i wasn't like when people when i walk around now it wasn't the same treatment i was getting from most people the hard men around the group the heart the people that were that had that knew more people they'd obviously look at me and some racist people also that i've came across in my life and that doesn't mean you're a fighter now so you could kill everybody and you know at the end of the day yes we do fight in a cage yes we get in a cage to absolutely you know hurt someone but that doesn't mean it's not a calculated uh violence you know we repeat we're smart people we're actually normal people so for those people that are afraid of waiters are whatever we're normal people that it's a calculated risk so yeah when these toy by people arrive they can't you kind of know how to defend yourself when someone is it's gone downhill then you have to defend yourself at some stage if you are a girl you need to defend yourself just in case so um yeah i recommend martial arts if you are going to come to martial arts dublin combat academy or shape livestream is ready okay so why would you recommend martial arts above other sorts of uh sports and stuff well i always say first and foremost your your mental health that's number one you're stressed and obvious all day you're a taxi driver going from one place from a to b you need somewhere to shift your mind away and when you're in that training zone you feel like you're renewed you feel like it's a different type of fight it's not just life it's not someone stressing you well you zono so it's really good for your mental health number one if you are depressed you have a goal to look forward to every single time number two it's who doesn't like to defend themselves you're going at a bar some some some fella wants to attack you what do you do now bring the police no it's too late you just got knocked out you need to defend yourself if you're a girl some guy wants to attack you what do you do you have to defend you need to learn how to defend yourself and also good for motivation you don't want to be a lazy ass sitting on your on your hull 24 7. you have to look forward to making progression that's what i feel yeah no huntsman and i like what you said there because obviously people bullies and that will prey on the weak and stuff like that and it feels like it gives people confidence once they can defend themselves people come out of shell a lot more i find and that's obviously what happened with you absolutely i've seen it all my life when when they see someone that can't defend themselves or that doesn't want to fight they react even bigger by seeing bullies all my life but when you have something when you have a retaliation when you have something that's what i'm saying not always i i do not agree with ah just walk away sometimes you can't walk away it's continuous sometimes you just need to meet with a bully and and show them what you're made of so i feel like dublin combat academy straight blasting is where it's at yeah no 100 so we i want to go further through your career as well so you've been to the likes of the imf's twice tell us what those experiences are like because this like mma is taking you to some crazy places and some different places like tell us what the imaps were like for you and what experiences did you take away from yeah man um if the first country i went to was romania which where i got silver medal um it was a great experience man different countries again different culture and but i'm already used to it i'm already used to it from being here from eritrea so i'm used to that so it wasn't new to me and any opponent they gave me i just looked at it like i said another day and again yeah i looked forward to winning it i came i came short in in in the in the final but that's okay there's always the next time and the second one i went was bahrain again i fought a guy that was 10 on one at the time great for her zolotic anatoly um close decision i lost halfway also but he was the gold medalist but before that previous to that i finished a mexican so that's me gone from the competition after the second foy after that then i took a massive break i had a k140 for shay leehan i stopped them got the k1 belt ffc belt and then i moved to dubois for a year again great experience over there got to meet the likes of dan hooker dan hooker is one of the nicest people i've ever met in my life period the nicest people i've ever met i i met him and i said um no downhill what's happening all good now he gets that off everyone but for some reason um i asked him can we do spider and whatever if you want and he says yeah no problem and he goes he texted me half tree i was i was on my friends he gives me a text be there in half an hour what the what am i gonna do in the next half an hour jesus christ i don't i was an hour away i was like okay you know what i'm gonna get a taxi but wait wait i don't even have gear and i'm just gonna buy gear from from the gym boom i get there in half an hour and i'm like where's dan hooker where is he i don't think there's a kid's class going on here what am i doing here in kids classes and then i was i went out the back i got to see dan hooker and he had he had a belly pad and pads ready to couch me to me that is what i look up to that's how i want to be like in this life there's a millions of other things that he could have done in dubai but here he is troy and deal trying to be a good samaritan so shout out to dan hooker if you are watching this much love and still couches me to this day and he's my mentor and i really respect him but uh yeah the boy was a mad boss i can only i can only imagine uh when you're over there with him i actually want to just touch back on that so like when someone likes ants hooker he was obviously in the uc at the time everyone knew who he was like how did that make you feel then there's a person that like like he's actually standing here for me like yeah yeah it was crazy because a lot of people a lot of coaches want to be holding pads for him yeah but he just wasn't asked about that and he was like i remember in the middle of a like have you ever been to tk mma it's like a big ring outdoors and there's also a cage that sold and you have all this view there's a beach there's all that so he's there holding parts for me papa and i'm moving around and a lot of girls just surrounded us and i'm looking around i was like what the is happening here and i'm looking around saying wow dan hooker's holding pads for me in this uh tk mma where there's a lot of girls and all i can see is a lot of girls looking at me hitting pads it's certainly not for me has to be for dan hugger so goes no you stop after 30 seconds right so i'm hitting the van and then after the round finish i'm like bro so many girls watching you bro what is the story link would you not like would you not click one like no and he goes uh there's one thing that he taught me he was like nah he has a wife you know and he goes i can't turn my back on someone that looked after me for so long so you can just tell what kind of person he is and i'm like wow jesus christ let's just help us but uh yeah great experience man and uh i got to train in algeria good people like uh bambam till vice versa yeah and he used to call me at lasagna off wish oh man i hated that guy [Laughter] but uh yeah man it was a great buzz to boy all together yeah no that does sound great and then shout out to liver that gave me all the opportunity to this day perfect perfect right so two out you obviously you talked about the break you talked about going to the buy was there a reason you took the break was it just because of culver the kind of hit as well or was the arterial route well calvin hit there was nowhere to train uh everyone was everywhere was shut so the only choice for me to to do was actually go to dubai and live on management as they always as always they look after me so i got the sponsorship opportunity to go there trying with the best meet the best people and learn about life and yeah i came back a different month than i went 100 i don't think the same i don't dress the same and i don't communicate the same uh i'm more on positive voice now so really appreciate that yeah and all this but then obviously you won those titles you took that break you came back you came back then uh to fight for the clan wars title against lewis say that again say that again for the what for the clan wars let me bring the belt actually you can't there it is so yes sir so obviously after after two years uh it was about two and a half years out wasn't it he came back was there any fear of ring rust was there any pressure going into that fight stops he loses quite uh experiencing he's fought imacite had like 10 fights previously in the past couple of months um what was your mind going back in after that like tell me how i said before it was going to go i told everyone energized show and they were telling me how's the ring rust how's it going to go and he was saying yeah smack fails 10 times harder they there's a lot of a lot of reasons why i was going to lose that for you and he was he was like camzat and i told him listen i ain't going to take you down i am the one that's going to dictate where the fight is and i dictated where the food is people mistake cockiness for actual facts i said i was gonna take him down if i want and i said i was gonna strike with him if i want and i don't all that and i won the fight so where is where am i lying the fight after that was game in canada where i had to defend my toilet i don't even like the clown worse that's a double time champ where is damien kenner when he says oh i'm going to take the void whatever i want he didn't he won the first round and people thought it was over wow all the i was on newspapers and everywhere the talkative dubliner they called me it wasn't all talk i said let me bring you a helmet because all you are is a boxer he boxed for one round and then i took him and i finished the fight where is the lawyer there's no laws i'm speaking the truth i don't think any of them possess anything and that's the deal on the shoot aaron hercheck is the next guy that i'm gonna fight what do you think of iron hair chick i like having it's quite good it's quite good but i've already bet but in amsterdam there's just huge improvements that can be made from fight to fight like for ye both to think for him even to think of you you're the same fighter then and for you think him would be completely foolish and bought your powers i would have i being wrong yet no you haven't had one yet so you give you you tell me what's going to happen then same thing that happened the past two voice after that big break i came back a different person there's no way on that planet earth i'm going to lose the arm and hair check we fought before we put him unconscious but this time around i'm not going to get cocky and say wow he's going to be unconscious again but i definitely know i'm going to win the fight listen he's a hard worker man he's he's he's getting he's getting very good very quick it's actually scary i respect him but i don't think he's at that level he doesn't have the bodies that i have doesn't have the milf that i have it doesn't have the smartness the iq that i have so you're obviously predicting the wind you're not going to give where it's a knockout or that because you're prepared for it it could be over in one or could be it could go the full distance i don't see them going out of all this i really don't he makes too many mistakes for me to go three rounds with him but if he does my heart's up my heart's off to him i'm not gonna sit here saying i'm a mystic mike i'm gonna do this i'm gonna do it i don't know what i'm gonna do same thing i said louis i'll take the fee wherever i want to and i will win because i'm smart okay so you've got that fight coming up that's the 25th of september 25th so it's going to be in the i believe it's in the crown plaza again in belfast and camera so i'll see if people are going to go through it you can get tickets from the home or whatever fight it's going to be on my instagram yeah yeah so send your instagram bio you can get from clan wars if you're not going to be there there's going to be pay-per-views i will presume i remember one they didn't do but i think they will have it for this obviously so going past that obviously once once this fight is over what's next for weddi i'm just looking at the prowl ranks now man uh it's been it's been too long in amateur days i feel like it is there's nothing i don't know there's nothing here uh from now on it's just marching forward and hopefully do what we've done in in amateur in pro um ufc world champion that's my goal hope to god yeah so to get to the ufc i'll see there has to be steps taken like what would then would you be looking at like most irish fighters will do a reasonable show of pro first and then maybe go out branch out you've got so many different promotions now that like the irish going to combat a pfl stuff like that obviously you want to reach the ufc which is is considered the pinnacle by most of everybody in the business what do you have a set route there are you just going to take every fight as it comes again it's not it's that's not up to me to decide really there's a i have coaches i have a management team um we we sit down we talk listen that's why he went like that if i'm not happy i might be a woman amateur if i'm happy enough because i am i want to be a perfectionist i i'd like to say my the fight needs to be flawless and i need to knock someone in last time it wasn't flawless i got the finish but there were still things that i need to improve so we're not going to rush that but when we deal go to pro you best believe it's going to be me 100 and when i go pro you'll just watch you're gonna rim gonna jump over the division 100 i'm gonna go by the way when i go pro i am too big simply too big for about the weights and that would that could be easy not really but nothing is easy in life and that's why i always tell people nothing is easy so you have to work for it yeah no 100 and obviously you fought i fed away after yeah i'm sure i'm sure a lot of people don't cut away when it comes to pro the wins and losses mean a lot more obviously because there's a lot more steak will you do you have a nutritionist or would you bring a nutritionist or something like that on board for the cut or do you feel you can do it yourself absolutely i do everything to attain to improve any type of skill set you need to be so strategized you need to be hard-working and you need to also take your opportunities so that's what i plan on doing what kind of foia would i be if i just if i just say ah i'm gonna cut way anyhow no i take everything seriously this is my life and this is where everything i dedicate everything nothing else comes before for you perfect so when you go in you're going to go in especially a pro 100 like you've got like you said you've got great team are out there great coaches and they're obviously going to push you in the right direction and give you the right direction for you as a fighter and this person to to get where you want to go um looking back to your your amateur career now i know it's it's going to be coming to an end shortly is there any fight what would be your favorite finish out of all all the fights that you've had so far i think the one when i fought um a mexican guy in bahrain i well illegally knocked him down with a knee but i have been drilling that finish with kali for so long you know the way khali is he was saying you know if they shoot on you and you don't like if you knee right in the chest and they dip down that's their fault so he had me drilling that on the pads a really hard right knee a fake deep right knee and i was i i kept drilling it repeatedly repeatedly and i remember in the void i i do the same sequence i go boom guy gets knocked down and for a split second i'm like oh wait that's illegal but then i hear kylie's voice yup in my head vocally wasn't there economy because it was in by rent so i'm like yeah i don't care if i lose i don't care if i knew but anyway points got deducted and as points got deducted i'm like okay uh i'm losing that way i need to finish the guy and then he shoots on me i finish it with a rear naked choke so that was my favorite finish i have to say yup shout out to kaliman and then so that's your favorite finish and what fight as well do you think you've learned from the most where you talk where you may be seeing something that you're doing wrong or where you could improve is there any fight that comes to mind when when you think of a fight that you went okay i'm going to change or maybe you change something in your style no no i learned in the gym i don't learn off fires they're all okay fair enough um that's obviously people see when they come they they come to the fights and see that but like tell me from your own experience like how much hard work how much like anxiety how much pressure is there on fighters to perform a stage like that because like i said you're you're like everyone else but you go through the same things as us then on a higher stage you're out in public uh people know you and then people expect you to perform on the night all the time perfectly like what's that kind of like what's like at the background that people don't see as i said i've seen it i've seen it in my last fight the first round hasn't gone way way it was everybody's christmas everyone was so happy um when you put all on the line and not all on the line i i honestly speak the truth every single time i feel like what's going to happen in that fight and i've done that people seem not to like it see i get to get more more people seem to hate me than for dilna um it was crazy because everyone was happy thinking that was game over but i smiled and just carry on because at the end of the day these people that are hating are the ones that are watching let's really be honest they they know i don't think khali would tell you what the name of the mexican guy or noctu or the guy that i lost hill in bahrain i don't think he'd tell you his name but the haters have his name on topology ready so i don't really care about hairs but being in the spotlight is hard it could be tough for people not just for fighters you could be the one public speak and you could be doing what you're doing right now and it's it's you know it's not easy to take home on camera and speak and speak the truth and that's it like i i appreciate everybody that puts themselves out there because listen 99 percent of the people are in bed eat chocolates and i don't know what else they're doing but yeah so well done dave yeah thank you yeah and thank you for giving me this platform no no and i appreciate you coming on so do you think a lot of people dislike you because you've predicted fights you you seem cocky you seem arrogant is that what you think people please they're just jealous in my opinion if they would love to be in the position that i'm in and if not these are the people that have their own insecurities if someone if you're doing better than someone like i would like dan hooker like that was a great example he wouldn't he he need he wants he's doing way better than i am so there was there's no need for him to you know what i mean it's people like you until you're doing better than them no like people hate me because i predict fights not even predict fights i see i drill it every i work every day my ass off to see that fee and play how i wanted to play so when people ask me how it's going to play out i know how it's going to play because i've worked so hard for it but when i obviously put it out there people hate and all that but listen we move yeah no i've actually what you were saying about dan hooker there i've actually i've been here twice in uh dca and twice i've seen you doing what you said don hook has done and i've seen i've seen the good side of you i've seen what you're what you really like so is that what be like people don't see when you're working like there was a couple of youngsters here today and you're like do this do that like yeah that's up to you people don't get to see that do you wish people got to see that more or does it even matter to you yeah what's it going to add or what to go you know like i really i'm disconnected from people's opinion i am rightfully so just like my team what what they say we must do after all that it's all noise you know what i mean whether they think i'm good whether they think i'm bad it's it's really not going to matter at the end of the day it's nice yeah because especially in mma it's a fatal sport people are going to support you when you're winning your phone's going to be blowing up i've talked to a few fighters as soon as that last comes absolutely that's the thing though the people that are close to you from the start they will be close to you and so there's no point of changing to please anybody as my coach john kavanagh cheryl to john kavanagh he always tells me two times have be true so at the end of the day it once you're true to yourself there's nothing that can stop you yeah no hans thinks you're only lying to other people you're only lying to yourself and you're not being truly who you want to be and like what you said i think for anyone succeed in life you have to people are going to have a pinch of your left right and center and if you take heat to those opinions that's going to add to what you said earlier people with stress anxiety mental health if you let that weigh on you it's it's going to it's going to get you down to you yeah so only take the advice from the people that they want people absolutely absolutely nothing else all else is nice perfect if there's anything you'd want to be remembered for either as a fighter as a person when all your career is said and done is there any word or any phrase or is there anything in particular you'd want to be remembered for as a stupid question like i feel like i'm in a kindergarten now we're here with these questions what can help okay so maybe i'll try to find a question then that you will answer um what does colleen craig and john kavanagh what do those people mean to you when you hear those names what words what emotions come come to you um that's a good question so when i think of craig and connie you know i don't look at them like couches they're my brothers really uh i look up to them because they're kind-hearted as people and if i have any type of problems i'll be the first people i'd go to is them and they can always understand that's without the flame and um fighting like my strogan is based out of dublin combat academy uh you know they they've taught me everything i know so i don't know i'm not going to say a word comes to my head but the emotion that comes to me is like as brothers that's the emotion i have family uh john cavner is is a mentor you know what i mean um he he is the most honest coach you'll ever meet he'll tell you the way it is if you like it good if you don't like it that's up to you he's that type of coach but he will do the best to help you in everything that he could uh i thought he pulled him over and talked to him about much every day and he has to put up with me so again john cavanaugh always tells me to tell him to do himself be true so he's he's like a mentor so here's your question to me yeah no 100 and he was actually very good when he talked about you on aerial hawaii so he's putting you to the forefront how did that make you feel then as joining the gym and you're in there and yeah you're being mentioned where are you i remember i remember i was talking to jordan fury and uh jordan tells me bro john was mentioning you when early helwani i was like me like yeah i'm on you so i remember going over and i looked at it i was like boys boys boys boys i had about four boys with me i was like stop stop stop stop wait higher it up and he's hugging me he's like yeah blessed wendy with a clown watching yes and everyone is like shouting or not yeah man that was that was a beautiful moment you know and and it's going to continue 100 yeah no that is good and your future does look bright i want to circle back because we talked a little bit about the mental health stuff from that and you kind of gave me little bits here and there but is is there more to that story is there more is there any trauma or anything that you face or anything like that well you know like uh my my friend my one one of my best friends killed themselves when i was so young and he was one of my best friends and he killed himself and to me that that was devastating like you know and i don't really talk about it that much uh i don't really like to talk about it because that's like i don't know in my head it's like peeing or something that i don't really like and paddy the body was actually mentioning last week um he was saying if you need to talk you need to talk to him i need a body is also like a mentor to me that i've i've seen him the other day actually um we were at 37 the arson street and uh i was like oh yo you're training with my mate shame and he's like ladies and i was like yeah i keep talking bro oh my there's like i got a body guard do you want to take a picture of us bro yeah take up i don't know if it's a bodyguard or a fireman i don't even know who it is and it's not even on my phone it's on his phone but i was that excited i was like yeah get a big job bro and then i got the barometer and take a picture yeah buddy yeah no that's good then and you feel now like obviously you'd said about what happened with your friend and and like he said he would rather take the call obviously that's something you'd rather do do you think paddy talking about that is gonna help men and sports athletes and all open up about stuff like that yeah 100 it's traumatizing like it's something like that happens uh you need someone to talk to and that's why talking to mentors cultures i'm pretty sure there's cultures everywhere not just cultures someone that has been through that that has experience with that you just need to talk whether you're a man you're a woman it doesn't really matter if you need help you need help and uh sometimes talking is good so i'm really big on what padi dabadi said and yeah i support it and it happened to me so yeah if anybody needs me you can always contact me and i can i'm pretty sure i can accommodate you into a coach that's beside you or even choice or that i owe myself so you know 100 that's very good here right what that is we're going to wrap it up okay i want to thank you so much for your time obviously you know you're so busy um and it was a pleasure to actually have you on i'll meet you thank you very much thank you appreciate that thank you and enjoy the rest of your night
