[Music] Everyone, welcome back. Uh, Gladiator FC, uh, Mr. Kieran Masky. Yep. Um, tell me about this belt, sir. What does this mean to you? It means a lot, man. I put my heart and soul into winning this. Um, obviously it's my my uh my JK. This is the JK dojo. This is it brand. This is it show like and it means a lot to win it. Just to prove to Donnie, you know what I mean? To show Donnie, she's being back to the home soil. And yeah, means a lot to me. I've been training since the new year. Put my heart and soul in this. I never trained as hard in my life. So, which all showed in this fight, you know what I mean? Right on. Um, going into this uh match. Yeah. Um, did you did you do research your opponent at all? Didn't watch any videos. I try not to watch any videos. It just gets me in the own head. I think if I worry about myself, trying my hardest, I shouldn't have to worry about him. If I'm my my best, I shouldn't have to worry about him. You know what I mean? Yeah. Absolutely. Um, so did you had with that in mind, did you kind of have a plan going into this? I sort of knew he's a brawler. He comes out swinging like he did. It was a brawler. Yeah, I've totally come out swinging. So I just try and stay composed, man. I know I'm fit. I knew I was fitter than him. And I know I fit. I train. I train twice day, every day, even three times a day. Like my cardio shouldn't be matched. And the wrestling just mixing another wrestling up. He's going to brawl me all day long. But it's the mixing of the wrestling that's going to tire him out. And that's what won me the fight. You know what I It was that the fact that he was worrying about the take down and yeah, I just just pushed the pace. You know what I mean? That's how I won. It's pressure. It's not about technicality. It's about putting pushing him to his limits and constantly staying on the front foot, not taking a step back. Right. Yeah. No, it was like a bar fight. It was several heavy blows back and forth. Yeah. Um, you know, was there I wonder if I say was there a time where uh like did you feel I hurt you? No. No. like a um uh did you feel anything unexpected like u something come out of out of nowhere for you? The kicks were coming up real sharp and it was I was they were swinging past my head. Luckily they didn't connect but I knew he was a kicker. Like I tried to get a few kicks but it's hard to get the kicks. Need to set the kicks up. Can't just throw blind kicks and expect them to land. I'm going to seed him. But apart from that his takedown defense was very good. I thought it was going to be taken down a lot easier. Did take them down quite a bit. But um his take down defense was good. to defend him quite well towards the end which is very well props to him because towards the end of the fight he was tire out and the fact he was still defending him really well it just shows the the level of cardio he has as well as me you know what I mean 100% um were you surprised by anything you were you surprised by anything in particular about how you performed tonight surprised about how well it took punches me hitting me hard obviously you can see and didn't seem to phase me at all mate you know I took them and didn't really bother me you know what I mean I feel like I can take a punch really well and maybe it's not the best of things but I don't feel like they hurt me at all like you know mean I'll take a punch all day long I don't really care like you know what I mean awesome awesome um so like what's what's like a key takeaway for you um just well my last fight I sort of stopped man in a minute and 30 seconds in the first round knocked him out so the fact I got the 9 minutes and I pushed the pace just shows that I could keep the pace a high pace for a full fight you know what I mean I'm not going to tire out I did feel a we bit fatigue but you You know what I mean? It's all just in your own head. You just got to keep pushing, pushing, pushing. He's tired, too. And yeah, I felt like I could have done more. I felt like when I was had him down, I wasn't active, but I was just trying to trying to catch my breath and hit him. But he was tired, too. You know what I mean? So, I was just, you know what I mean? Proud and pray is punched to be honest. Really happy with myself about that. Really happy with it. Would you be Would you normally be on your feet? Would you Is that like your most comfortable there? There was fights I've had before I've wrestled and I feel like my striking is really good and has come on really well and I didn't want to just take him down because I knew he's a bit of a talker playing and he uh he was talking this big even on the way down. He's like he wants it more but I [ __ ] want it more. You know what I mean? I'll stand and punch. I don't care. You know what I mean? Um but I wanted to show that. I wanted to show them was going to shy away from a [ __ ] fight. You know what I mean? Cuz I'm not going to shy away. You know what I mean? So that's it. Right on. Uh what's next for you? uh take a break over the summer and um get back at it. Maybe on the next Gladiator show or another show, but have a holiday, you know, boot and stuff for June. So, just want to just relax and then start to cut weight again cuz the weight cutting would have killed me, but just take a break for a month or two and then get back out. Well, we still be training, but just training for a fight, you know what I mean? Yeah. Well, where's your holiday? Turkey. Turkey. Excellent. All right. Mrs. Mrs. here and I not there at the minute, but me and her going. Yeah. Heck yeah. That's awesome. Um look, man, I appreciate your time. Thank you very much. Um, and huge congratulations, man. If I was you, I would not I'd wear that belt around everywhere. Thank you, man. Thank you, man. I appreciate Appreciate it. Thank you. Thank you. Let's go.
