Jack Corr joins The Energized Show ahead of Gladiator on Sunday, 7 December 2025, where he headlines a home show for his fourth pro bout — a title fight — as a 3-0 fighter who last won in April by first-round rear-naked choke against Barbosa. He describes sharper camps at ZKJ, pressure from fighting on his father Danny’s promotion, and a smooth coach–fighter dynamic with his dad in the corner alongside brother EMTT as a key training partner. He breaks down Samuel Draper as his most experienced opponent, plans to strike first but stay comfortable grappling, and says he will not fight again before Christmas. For 2026 he wanted a Gladiator title fight before moving to a bigger promotion around April, with Cage Warriors 200 on his radar; he expects EMTT and Kieran Masky to turn pro next year while Brazen recently left for Australia. He previews a stacked Gladiator card — including Jason Shenan vs Dun Levy, Ethan Lewis replacing Leah for the bantamweight title, and Alex Fagan vs Marco Boychuk — notes tickets are nearly gone with pay-per-view available, and praises the promotion’s calendar and venue setup. Hosts then preview Elite FC 6 in Cork, Kyle O’Sullivan at Bad Mofo, Cage Warriors 199, UFC 323, and other weekend Irish MMA action.

Kind: captions Language: en What's the the dream plan for 2026? Where where where would you like your fighting career to go next? >> Diana Joy show up the time. >> Okay. What's going on guys and welcome to a brand new episode of Energize brought to you by Orings Competitions. Ross, >> are you intoxicated or something? >> Introduce a guest, man. Today we have Mr. Main Event. He is everybody's favorite core. It is the one and only Jack Core. Jack, how are things? How are the cores? >> Great. Great. Um, everything's flying going into fight week and just can't wait to be in my fourth pro pro fight, fourth main event and headline a home show again. So, really looking forward to it. Yeah, things are really looking up for you right now. 3 and 0 as a professional about to fight uh you know on on you know your family show uh main event looking to go 4-0 like do you feel like there's any pressure on you going into this fight because obviously you know it it's your own show hometown you mean you know you've gone 3 and 0 so you know you know a lot of eyes are coming on to you for this fight. >> Yeah. Yeah. I always feel pressure anyway like every fight I think it's a good mindset to have every fight I just assume the person I'm fighting is the best opponent I can face and they're world class so that just forces me to train as hard as I can but you know this fight being a title fight as well that adds a little bit of extra pressure to it but none more so like than I would put on myself anyway like I probably put the most pressure on myself to perform and at the end of the day it's a fight so you're going to be nervous and excited for it anyway. So, no, I'm just I'm really looking forward and I'm ready to go now. Like, >> yeah. Jack, can you tell us like last time out you fought in April and you won by submission in round one. Like, what's the difference between that Jackor and the Jackor that's going to be fighting this Sunday, the 7th of December? >> Just a lot lot more experience gained. You know, my first pro fight was sort of rushed in it like it was meant to be an amateur fight until short notice before it and then changed the pro. So I didn't really have a professional training camp for it. It was amateur. In second one I g gained a little bit more confidence, you know, with all different the rule set, the small gloves, the elbows, the knees, five minutes. Then the third one. So each each fight camp, I've just really stepped it up. And then especially this fight camp, a lot of the other boys like have been doing more 5minute rounds than me like not just for my own like shark tanks or you know just specifically for me like in our normal classes we've been doing a lot more five minute drilling and stuff. So I just feel this is the fittest I've ever been and I'm I'm ready to go anywhere in the fight. Like I'm ready to strike, I'm ready to grapple, ready to go to decision, whatever it takes. Like I'm I'm just ready to go. >> Yeah. Well, we haven't seen the decision out of yet since he turned pro. So, uh, why not again? Tell us this. Obviously, uh, ZKJ is on fire at the moment. Uh, obviously yourself, Emma, uh, Jason Trinan is one of the best bandmates in the country. Uh, Kieran Masky just won't stop absolutely demolishing people. What What is What is the change in time or do you feel like you're just finally earning the fruits of your labor in ZKJ? I think I think it's a bit of there's a couple of factors like I think during co um and like just after co like it felt like it was just me my brother and Miy really and K and Kon Brazen sort of training together and then postco we just had more and more fighters like more and more people stepping up to fight and more and more people becoming part of the fight team so that's like pushed our fight our fight training sessions our are our short tanks or fight camps to like another level. So you're getting pushed. There's no easy rounds anymore in the gym. So like we have I think we have 11 12 13 fighters maybe fighting at the weekend here. So with all them people pushing themselves during a fight camp, you can't help but improve yourself cuz everyone's like operating at a higher level like but >> yeah like the training partners I have for for the fight for this fight and previous fight camps has just been >> like I just look around like everyone's pushing me here like and it helps build your confidence when you're going into the fight anyway. >> And one thing that I'm always interested in especially with your gym is obviously your relationship with your dad. Do you feel like because you fight he's he's also your head coach you know on this occasion he he's promoter he does a lot for Irish MMA as a whole like behind the scenes trying to get the sport recognized like being a fighter under him like does that you know bring your relationship closer or do you find that you know there can be friction from time to time because you know what I mean like he's your dad but he's also your head coach so sometimes you know >> I don't always like when my dad tells you what to do put it that way >> uh I I think like we probably we probably argue less about stuff to do with MMA. Do you know what I mean? Like we probably argue about stupid stuff in the house like like nothing to do with MMA, but like when we're in the gym, I think the the fighter coach relationships pretty pretty smooth. Like um like I've I've not known anything else like without him being in the corner. Do you know what I mean? Like so when I I've been doing karate for my kid, he's always coached me and now like as a professional like or we've just got it susted out the way the way um our relationship works as a corner like him being my main coach. Um and I couldn't I couldn't really think of fighting without him being in my corner. It would be weird like but um yeah I know like sometimes maybe I don't know maybe he's harder on me now but I don't I don't even think he is and like it's it's I think it suits me like he's in charge of my nutrition my my coaching style I I mean or fighting style I mainly like let him watch my opponents I have watched I do watch my opponents a wee bit but I would let him like watch them way more and he like then develops the I do pads differently the way I'm striking like depending certain techniques I'm going to use in a fight depending on what he sees in a fight. >> And then obviously you have to touch on your brother Emma as well. Obviously he's probably one of your main training partners. Obviously he's your brother as well. >> Is there a rivalry there between you two over like who's the better fighter or who's going to have the more successful career or do you just back each other to the hilt? Yeah, like me and Emma would like fight all the time in the house like again like what I was saying like with my dad but never it's never actually about fighting like we argue about stuff like we'll argue about he's I've took a pair of his trainers or he took one of my tops or something like that's what we fight about in the house like but and when we were younger we used to like when we were younger in training our sparring sessions like I'm talking like children our sparring sessions used to be like so bad like in terms of trying to kill each other that my dad like had to be like we would do like pads together or like technique but we would have to be split apart for sparring for a while but like since since I've started like fighting as an adult like it's fine like our our sparring sessions are are perfect like we know what to do but I wouldn't say there's rivalry in terms of like obviously every time I'm fighting or he's fighting we both want each other to win and like the last show it was like I can't even go and watch his fights before I fight. I just have to sit in the change room. And then obviously like the first gladiator when me and him fought together, he won. And that obviously that made me nervous cuz I was like, "Right, he's won. I have to win here." Like, and then >> but then the other way like he lost in the last show before me. And then I was like, "Fuck, can't let the I can't lose or it's going to be a terrible night in the house here." Like me and my dad like, but either way, like it it'll put pressure on me like if he wins or loses. But no, we like he's always as soon as he fought last time, win or lose, he was in my corner straight away for the for the main event. Like so nah, there's there's no like regular that way. We just both want each other to win every time. >> Fair. Fair. And obviously your last fight out um obviously you got the got the job done done one rear naked choke uh over Barbosa but tell tell us this after you won and then you celebrated there you know with your friends and family did it feel that bit special did you actually take a moment to embrace that moment that like it was it was huge moment you know sort of first show sort of second show whatever way you want to say but like obviously in from your home crowd, headline the show, pro about a show that your dad built, you know what I mean? Like, and effectively like more or less probably built the show for for you, for for the scheme, you know what I mean? >> Yeah. >> Did you ever feel how special that is that to have such a community built up and at the end day, you were the pinnacle of that event and you'll be the pinnacle of the event again. >> Yeah. No, definitely. It definitely did feel special like the last one like the last one going into the main event was because um EMTT lost right before it I did feel way more pressure going into the cage and like the guy I thought was like so tricky cuz he was like 7 foot for a bantamweight like I'm usually like the tall bantamweight and I walked a range mother trucker >> and I walked in like I seen him like before the fight obviously and I was like trying to sus out what he And like Emit's taller than me and I stand beside Emtt and he was taller than EMTT and I was like me. Like I was like how am I going to get in the range here like I didn't like I fought tall baits before. like K really and Mikey McCoy who are both like the same height as me but he was so lanky like and then when I was fighting him when I got got out my game plan was to strike with him a bit and then like he threw a kick and it was so far away I was like like just whis past me and then he was like throwing these big rangy hits. I was like, "Right, I have to grapple him here because he's gonna like be one of these guys who's going to throw something mad and it's just going to clip me here." Like, but it was better because my first submission went as well. Like, um, and I don't know if I don't know if a TKO a knockout or a TKO definitely feels better than a submission, but a submissions like you're like, "Oh, that was it's nearly as good as a knockout." Like, but no, after the fight, it was it was brilliant. And it it obviously getting a submission it gave me more confidence going to the ground. Like I always see myself like as a good grappler but like I wouldn't really go for submission finishes like sometimes but getting that like really added a bit of confidence going into this fight for me. Yeah, absolutely. And nice nice for the karate kid to get the get the submission win, you know, makes it feel feel that bit extra special. But uh look, the show itself, Gladiot, is obviously something that has been very very welcomed on the scene and I've seen a lot of fighters looking to fight on it. H obviously you're headlining this time out. Um what what do you know about your opponent this time out and how do you see the fight playing out? because at the end of the day, this is your most experienced opponent today. Sam Samuel Draper, he's got some good wins uh on his record. So, >> how do you see this one going? >> Um I don't like when I go into a fight, I don't like specifically have a point by point by point game plan because I think like that can go out the window really quickly. just have like a I have a rough idea like I me and my dad will focus on certain techniques we want to implement into the fight but I go in with like feel them out process sort of um sort of basically like trying to download what they're trying to do. He looks like he's he's game he's game enough striking like he'll try and like sort of rush forward um throwing heavy punches or whatever and like trying to get a bit of a take down body lock thing. He's got a good good submissions on his record. I think he's probably more of a grappler, but like he looks like he has decent striking, but >> I plan on picking him apart on the feet. And if he wants to grapple, if he goes to the ground, I don't mind grappling either, but plan on like just beat beating him on the feet and hopefully getting another finish. Four four finishes >> and tell us this. Obviously, this is going to be the last fight of the year for you unless something actually crazy happens. But >> no, nothing nothing will force me to fight in between this fight and Christmas. >> Tell us this. What what's the the dream plan for um 2026? Where where where would you like your fighting career to go next? Yeah, obviously I was like because um I turned pro and I have I was like to my dad like Emtts had title fights in this show. I was like if I signed a big promotion like when realistically would I get a title fight, you know? So I was like I was like I would love a title fight on this show. Um, that would be a good way to maybe wrap up fighting on Gladiator and hopefully like then fight on a bigger promotion like whether it be Cage Warriors or something like that or I'm open like I'm not I don't hang my hat on like I have to fight in Cage Wars or anything. I fight on any any big show after this like for with a belt. It gives you a bit more I don't know bargaining power or whatever like to get and attracts more big shows. So, I would like to fight in maybe April time next year and then see see where I go from there. >> And if if the call did come for K Warriors 200, is that something you'd struggle to turn down? >> Obviously, yeah. Like that that would be a good show to fight on. Like I would prefer if it was in Belfast to be honest like uh then they love Dublin like but no obviously like a big cage wars 200 that would be class to be a part of. Um, and yeah, like definitely definitely that would be something I would have my eye on. >> Yeah. Jack, Jack, what do you see Z KJ doing in 2026 as well? Because obviously a lot of the your teammates are making names for themselves on the amateur amateur scene. Like where would you where would you like to see the team go in the new year? >> Yeah. Well, EMTT and K Mask are both definitely turning pro next year. And then obviously we have other boys who are like right at the top of the amateur scene like Jason training for example like boys like him I could see going pro late next year as well like so it's good for me having more pro pro bodies to train with you know like um we have before me we had Brazen and Carl um but Brazen actually just moved to Australia last week like so we've lost him and then Carl's been bit inactive recently but obviously having like Masky who's on such a tear and then EMTT both them turning pro be good for me like them two getting the elbow pads on and trying to elbow me um I think that'll only make me better make them better and then once you have a run of boys turning pro I think like that helps the lower down amateurs in the gym coming up and we have loads of young guys who are like 18 19 20 fighting on this show like up from novice level right up to um amateur who are all unbelievable and they've been jumping into my shark tanks and like pushing me. time like these boys in a couple years time will definitely be high really high level amateur um early pros like >> and obviously uh with yourself Jack just to touch back on Gladiator you obviously you know are very familiar with the scene cuz you fighting it but have you become more of a fan of the scene and you watching more and more shows now than ever because your dad's now a promoter so therefore like oh dad maybe get this guy on the card maybe get that guy on the card because I can see This latest Gladiator card is probably one of the best cards that we've seen. Like it's got some really really strong amateur names on it. Is there a fight particularly that you're looking forward to? I know you're fighting and it's hard to maybe look forward to another one, but is there one that like as a fight fan you go, "Oh, you know what? That fight that fight's one I' I'd definitely love to watch." >> Yeah, there's a load a load of the ones from RGM obviously who are fighting. Like I'm I'm looking forward to them putting big performances. Um but there's like Jason Shenan versus your boy Dun Levy. That'll be a mad fight. Um the fight which just got announced um yesterday and Kley versus your boy from >> that'll be that was literally just like my cousin Jar's the one who like sort of messages my dad about like matching the fight cuz Jared's such a fight nerd like like he knows >> every fighter in Ireland. Like so my uh he he's good at making those matches and like when Jar just pulled that one out of his back pocket yesterday and I was like that's a cracker fight like that that's like two two quality fighters from the island fighting and what other fights on the card the banttom title >> oh lea versus girl >> yeah well lea just pulled out so he has a new boy yeah just announced this morning he has a guy coming over from England >> who's highly highly ranked but for a play him having like two fight changes I think for a title and fight week taking another boy on there. >> Oh girl very very good. I think we saw him fight Johnny Dugen up in a looked really really good like he's fighting Ethan Lewis. >> Yeah. >> Nice. Like even even some of the novice fights like um Ben Harden versus Adam Hennessy is one that I'm really looking forward to. Bang Bang uh looks really really good at the moment. Um, so interested to see that. And then, uh, Ricky Dujo is fighting Johnny Thompson. Dujo just won the Wrath title there. So, like there's some really nice fights. And then obviously the co-main event is huge. Uh, Alex, >> I forgot about that one. Yeah, that's >> Marco Boychuk. Like that that's a huge fight. Like th those two guys >> both uh have looked really really impressive. Like Marco Boychuk looked so good in his second fight up at Akuma. I I know he wasn't too impressed with his performance in in his pro debut and obviously Alex Fagan out of SPG Charles Town making his pro debut on the card as well. Obviously uh another another fighting family his his brothers won the is the one the striking coaches there in SVG Charles Town and you know that that gym is running hot at the moment with the likes of Maxi and Andreas Binder in there. So, uh, really high level fights. Definitely going to be interesting to see how how they all play out. But look, the car is shaping up really really well, um, between, uh, Jared and your dad. Like, they've put together a fantastic, uh, card. The show runs really really smoothly as well. >> That's that's what I that's what I found from it. Like >> I think my like dad like takes a lot of input from us and the fighters on like what we like, do you know? And like obviously like the change room facilities at at Gwood are really really good. Like there's some shows you go to and you're like out in the back of a freaking leaky basement. You're like Jesus Christ what the hell's going on here? Like but those those wires are so like so well spaced out and it's all like young fells from our gym who do the running and they're like they really take it seriously and they're they're they're doing a good job at it. Like so like stuff like that just makes your life as a fer easier. But but but that's the thing like and also the more shows in this country the mirror. And also one thing that I will say that I was really impressed with was that you guys laid out your calendar for the year. >> So people if they want to find glad they know the dates and also >> it gives all the other shows like no excuses to putting it a show on that weekend as well which I think is really really important. So, like too many times are we having >> a show on a Friday night and a show on a Saturday night or two shows on Saturday night and like it's just >> not great for the scene. Not great for the foilers because the eyes are all over the place and like >> not for the promoters >> and like Ireland's not big enough to have like that many shows on the same date. And as well like then it like I find it puts pressure on like the promoters then like are putting pressure on boys who are fighting every week and they're like are like going to clubs and being like oh can you get someone for this and you're like we only have a certain amount of fighters and we'll have boys fighting already this and like they can't fight every every week like >> Yeah. The the shows that are scheduled for 2026 are Gladiator Tier 3 on February 15th, Gladiator Tier 4 June 7th, and Gladiator Tier 5 on December 6th in 2026. So, it's going to be an very exciting schedule next year. >> Yeah, 100%. And like great for obviously the ZKJ guys to know if they want to fight in those shows, they can fight in those shows each year. Hopefully maybe we'll see EMTT and Kira make their pro debuts on the show as well because uh two absolutely top top talents. >> They're they're asking me to they're asking me to release the main event spot for them. I was like I'll do that. >> They're like they're like f off to another promotion. >> Yeah. No, we we absolutely love it. Um what's the story on ticket sales? Is there many tickets left, Jack? And will there be a paper? Yeah, they're defin there there'll be a pay-per-view pay-per-view link for um like online and I like all the other tickets are like physical so I'm not sure but I only have two tickets left so anyone doing my head in next week like I'm not chasing anyone but they're in they're in short supply now like >> yeah 100% so and I assume there might be a few tickets on the door from >> there always is with Irish Irish shows and that's not to say the show's not sold out but just normally on the day there's one or two people who can't make it and they'll resell the ticket on the door if they can. So, uh def definitely get up, get if you're in the area, definitely make sure to go to it. If one of your teammates fighting the show, try and get there and support them. And if not, get get the pay-per-view link. It is going to be an unbelievable night. It's it's actually turned out to be one of the best cards of the year by the looks of things. Like fight after fight, there's absolute bangers in there. And uh Danny's not only doing a great job of running a show, he's doing a great job of running a gym. And uh but the sounds of rum that household with all the scraps. >> So hopefully hopefully uh the Christmas present will be uh 4 and0 for Jack Cor this Christmas. Jack, anything else to say to the coronation before we let you go? >> Um just thanks to all my sponsors. Um >> so many people helping me this fight camp. Uh don't want to don't want to start listing them all because I'll definitely forget someone. But all the sponsors who've helped me in this fight camp and then all the all the boys from the gym who've been really helping out in the shark tanks. This is the best I felt going into a fight and it's the best all the boys in the gym have looked. So should be a really really good show on Sunday. >> Yeah. Well Jack bless on Sunday and we'll let you get on with the rest of your day. But >> cheers. Thank you. >> Diana Joy show up the >> So Ross that was Jack Core your favorite core man. Yeah, definitely. Definitely. Danny, don't hate me. But, uh, nah, Jackie is doing really, really well, and I'm sure Emtt's going to be doing very, very well when he turns pro. Uh, ZKJ are doing great and that Gladiator card is absolutely stacked. So, can't wait to see it. It's going to be cool. >> Yeah, it's going to be interesting to see where Jack goes next as well because like I have a feeling like we were remember I think it was two weeks ago, we were discussing the banttomite division in Cage Warriors. >> Yeah. And I think like Jack could be a great addition to that as well. >> So, uh, if you are new to the show, make sure to like and subscribe because we are here every week. Uh, Ross, as we were just touching on Gladiator, that's on this Sunday. So, uh, for people tuning in, we're going to be promoting it all week on our Instagram page. So, make sure to check that out. Um, Ross, we're going to have to bring it back a bit because there's also more Irish MMA events going on this week, and it goes down on Saturday as Elite Fighting Championship 6 goes down in Cork. Yeah, absolutely. Louise Brady will uh fight Sha McGran a rematch for for the women's bantamweight title which is uh a fantastic matchup. Um also we have I think it's is it Johnny Dugen or no sorry Nate Kelly is also Knight the Great Kelly is fighting Kevin Walsh. Two IMA veterans going toe-to-toe there. Obviously Nate the Great one of the biggest names on the amateur scene. So that's another huge fight there. Um and then we also have Johnny Dugen versus Jordan White as well for the bantamweight title. So a few toil fights going on Basmo this weekend down in Cork. The Rebels will be smelling blood come this weekend. Um some some other really good fights on the card as well. Um Taylor Hefernon is a bit of a a kickboxing icon down there. Um he'll be going against uh Bua as well at lightweight. So, he's had a one or two pull outs, Taylor Hefin. So, excited to see that. And then also flyweight, we have Sean Cardy versus Daniel Bergstrom. Uh, the Cardies are getting some serious submissions on the Irish MMA scene these days, Vaso, aren't they? >> No, they are. Uh, one thing I'd like to see is Brian Manning also on the mic at the event as well. >> Yeah, absolutely. I'm actually just seeing here that Kevin Walsh is now fighting Arie Sha. Um, that was actually announced four days ago. So obviously Nate the Great Kelly is off the card which is very unfortunate. Um but what can you do? Uh also Jody McCarthy is actually fighting for the Flyway title. H everyone loves the beast, don't they Basmo? >> Especially down that neck of the woods. >> Yeah, there's a lot of hype behind Jody McCarthy as well. So she's one to look out for as well. Um also keep an eye out for Rian Flarey against Tieran O'Reilly. That one should be very interesting as well. And if you were looking for your dose of the Mannings, Charlie Manning is fighting. Brian Manning's younger brother and uh Oliver Balah is fighting as well also out of MA Cork. So obviously a strong MA core contingent on the card, but that is as expected. Basmo, it should be an absolute brilliant night down in Cork come fight night. No, exactly. It should be a great night down in Cork. Uh Bario Kalan's doing great things there. So that is Elite FC6 that's going down on Saturday night. Um Ross, also on Saturday night, CAMAC MMA's Kyle O Sullivan returns to the cage as she competes at Bad Mofo in England. Yeah. Uh obviously Kyo Sullivan lost very close decision in her debut in the PFL. She went 0 and one, but I expect her to go back to winning ways. She is one of the most elite talents this country has ever produced. She is unbelievable from another fighting family, the O Sullivans. And uh Kyle Sullivan I expect come back with the bang and get a win come fight night. >> Yeah. Also in if you're a fan of Muay Thai especially give it like there has to be a massive shout out to Tom Ko getting his debut fight on 1FC getting the first round knockout. Um there is evolution fight show going down in Artane. Um, we have to give a shout out to Ron who runs a great show there. That's uh g like Ross that's they've done a few shows now and they're getting a lot of big names on the Irish scene to compete. Um, that's one I'm looking forward to seeing as well. Um, I want to give a shout out to one of the fights. Um, there's a women's fight going down for the Irish K1 title. It's Vicki Ochala against Khloe Ko. Is there any fights in the card you want to give a shout out to Ross? >> Oh, you know, I actually love that fight as well. Vicki Ochala has been an absolute fire at the moment and uh she's definitely a name that everyone should be looking out for on the K1 Basmo. >> Yeah. Um they're doing great promotion for the event that goes down on Saturday. Um also, funnily enough, Jay Council and also um let me get this right. Dra Barry will be on commentary for the show as well. So that'll be great cracks for people tuning in. So uh let us know if you're tuning in and what you think of the event. Ross, that is obviously Saturday night. We want to give a shout out to Cage Wars 199. They're going that's going down in Newcastle, the final show of the year. Everyone be looking forward to the Cage Warriors 200. And then also Saturday night, UFC 323 Ross. Um in the main event, Morav Vashfield is taking on Peter Yan again for the world bantamweight title. Ross, who do you think is going to win this fight? And what way do you think they're going to get it done? >> Yeah. Well, for me, I think Morab Devash Philly is someone who's just not going to get beaten at the moment. I just don't see it happening. He is one of the best fighters in the world. His cardio is next level. Uh to call a spade a spade. He is probably the best gas tank MA has ever seen. Is that that that fair to say? And I just think he he's beat Panam once and I just see him doing it a second time to be honest. Um, I see him getting probably decision win probably I'm going to say 49 46 I think Pam will win one round but other than that I think it's all in him and I think oh I'm actually more interested in the co-main event Pantoia versus Joshua Van h I think Van Van is on absolute tear at the moment but Pantoia is like reaching mighty mouse levels of greatness so It's going to be interesting to see can the young gun in Joshua Van come out and upset Alexander Pantosia? Like Van's only 24. He's got to be one of the youngest title challengers of all time in the UFC. And he he's looking to take out Pantoia who's now 35. So, you know, as I say, father time comes knocking for everyone. And you also have that sort of co- co-main event of uh Brandon Moreno versus uh Taturro uh Terra who you know the winner of that has got to be next in line for a title shot there as well. So going to be very very interesting to see unless UFC are bringing Muhammad Maky back into the fold and we'll see what happens there. But at the end of the day, some uh great fights for for the little guys uh at uh EOC uh 323, especially with Henry Sud versus Payton Talbat in there as well, which is another uh sort of young prospect versus former double champ um veteran. So yeah, Basmo, it's is a great card for the little guys. Yeah, it's actually there's actually so many fights on Saturday. It was funny because there was no there was nothing last weekend. Obviously bar like nonline getting her victory at Fight Club Rush over in Sweden. Massive shout out to Shenade. Like that's two rounds, two wins in a row. Technically three after that bare knuckle fight as well. But uh Ross, that's that's obviously going down Saturday night. Um there was a couple of huge fight announcements going that happened in the UFC that will be happening in the new year as Patty the Batty Pimlet will be taking on Justin Gachi for the interim world lightweight title. Ross, how excited are you to see that? >> Yeah, I'm buzzing for I think it's one of the best fights who made a lightweight. I know a lot of people are giving out saying, "Oh, Aras Rukian should have been fighting for this for this interim title, yada yada yada." I think at the end of the day, stalls make fights and I think Patty the Batty is the biggest name in the lightweight division. Uh, you know, he you could argue he's right up there with Ilia Tapora as well. Uh, if you want to include the champion in that as well and I suppose stories also make fights and I think at the end of the day, Ilia and Patty have have beef and I think people are dying to see that fight. Uh obviously I is not going to fight for the first quarter and then I feel like Patty is also creating beef with Armanian and I also feel like he he'll create beef with Justin Gy. They need they need someone who's going to sell in there especially with the new Paramount deal. Uh that's going to be something that they're going to want. It's uh first pay-per-view of the new year live Paramount Plus new7 billion dollar deal signed uh for seven years. So UFC are going to try and bring out the big guns and they're going to get value for money in entertainment. Patty the body pin. >> Exactly. Also announced Amanda Nunes will make a return to the cage facing uh Kayla Harrison for the world banttomite title. Ross early prediction for that. >> Yeah. Um I'm going to actually say Kayla Harrison on this one just based on the fact that we have I suppose someone who's in the cage and active as opposed to someone who's been out for a long time. So, my personal take is I'm going to I'm going to go for that. I'm going to go for Kayla Harrison. She's active. She's been fighting. She's been quite dominant. Man, the Nuna has been out of the cage for what, two or three years now at this stage. That's that's who I'm going to go for. Yeah. Um they're also former training partners at uh American Top Team. Um, I'm gonna I'm right now I'm thinking Kayla uh that though those uh Shauna Ali will be taking on Song Yadong as well. That's at UC 324. It'll be the first card back in 2026 on the 24th of January. And then also the main event for UC 325 that goes down on January 31st. Ale Falconovski will be defending his featherweight title against Diego Lopez for the second time. Ross, what you make of this fight? Loads of people were very pissed off at that. >> It's not for me if I'm being honest. Uh Lor Murphy is a new opponent. Mosvar Evov is a new opponent. This fight is just we've already seen it. We've seen it recently enough. It was very one-sided. Don't need to really oversee it again. Also, I think the news broke today as well that Max Holloway is going to fight Charles Olivera also at UFC 324 for the BMF belt, which is that's a sexy fight. That is a sexy fight. >> So, uh, >> who'd you have for that one? >> Both very likable guys, Ross. But you you're best mates both of them as well. People >> Yeah, I think Max Holloway I think >> Max >> I think 55 Max Holloway is is an absolute a beast. >> Yeah, if it stays in the feet, I'd have to go Max Holloway as well. Um then that's like obviously Saturday night as I said Elite Fighting Championship is going to be on Cage Warriors 109 Newcastle UC 323. H shout out to Evolution Fight Series as well. Uh, as we said, Sunday, Gladiator Terror, its second show is going to be on. And then also on Sunday, we want to give a matchup shout out to Crank Invitational that goes down. And there is loads of very interesting matchups that have been announced. But there's one I'm particularly looking forward to seeing, and that is Amy Scully from SPG and Brew Grappling taking on um Holly Makavoy from Addict Jiu-Jitsu. That is definitely one that is I'm very interested in seeing. Ross, is there any you're looking forward to seeing? You know, I was actually just looking at the card from sort of top to bottom and thinking like they really I don't know if if it's fair to be like this is the one for me. But one thing I am really looking forward to, I I I want to see Andy Chapman versus uh Aldraano Dos Santos, I think is how you say it, cuz uh Andy Chapman uh is one of the most active competitors as head coach of Team Rhino Limati. And I think that's uh always interesting to see and like to give him a shout out. Also uh helps run uh the chaos promotion as well. So uh Andy Chapman's top guy and I always love seeing him compete. So, I'm going to say one of the older lads, one of the Masters. >> There we go. So, as we said, that's all the action this weekend. Uh, we want to thank Jack Core for coming on the show as well that goes down Sunday. Make sure to tune in and watch it. Um, we want to thank everyone for tuning in every week. Um, we look forward to doing another editor show next week. Ross, anything else you want to say to the people tuning in? >> No, just want to say thanks million for everyone who does tune in every week. Make sure to like, share, subscribe, and as always, stay >> stay energized. >> The Energize Show. Up the Irish. It's the face that runs the place, Chaos Cortis. I want to thank the Irish MMA community so much for getting behind me. Yep. The chaos cartel.
