Obviously, you're an inspiration to so many young girls. Do you feel like as your tenure in the UFC lengthens, do you feel like you have more people coming up to you? Do you feel like you have more young girls who are, you know, you're you're their role model of actually in the MMA terms? Yeah, like when I'm going to Cage Warriors and stuff like I can't go to toilet without loads of people coming over and asking for photos and stuff. And it's great because like it just like fighters put so much into getting to certain stages of their career and it's just nice to see that people can see it and appreciate it and and look up to you because it's like that's what it's about, you know what I mean? You kind of want the next generation to kind of come and improve. And I think like in the past couple of years female MMA has grown so much again in comparison to when I first started. It was like hard to get fights and whereas there's loads of girls bouncing off each other now at novice level, at amateur level, and then turn on pro as well. And so it's great to see it growing because the more there is, the better then everyone is and people can bounce and cross train in different gyms. And once one like if someone's getting better and the other person's getting better, then it's just it's great for the country. The Energize Show up the Irish. Here we go. Okay, what's going on guys? Today we have the fighting pride of Ireland, the only woman flying the flag in the UFC. It is the one and only UFC superstar, Shauna Bannon. Shauna, how are you doing? I'm good, lads. How are yous? Good. Unbelievable. Unbelievable. All roads lead to the >> UFC superstar, that's right. All roads are leading to your second home over in Vegas. Uh May 16th can't absolutely wait for. Tell us this, how excited are you to get back in there? Yeah, I'm really excited. I think uh it's a good few months now, bit of a layoff. So, uh delighted to get back in there and it's nice to be in a different environment as well because a lot of my cards with UFC were in the UK. So, uh yeah, it's nice to have a different location. And I'm actually delighted in the Apex as well cuz I like I was saying to Fadi like when we were waiting to get matches and stuff, I was like I'd love North in Apex cards just cuz it's like it's so similar to like the IMMAF and kickboxing tournament like that kind of buzz cuz I've been at a few shows in the Apex when I was over in Vegas and it's just it's a nice energy. It's a little bit obviously compared to the somewhat pressure and stress and anyway when you're fighting, but it's just it's a little bit more mellow. Fair, fair. I I I'm just speaking on that mellow part of it. Obviously, Mama B brings a big crowd everywhere she goes. I I definitely loud crowd anyway. Uh will many be heading over to the Apex with you? Do you know what? I actually just wanted this one to be like cards off. So, yeah, yeah. Um so, me and Gary are heading over on Sunday and then Paddy and my dad will come over the following Monday and then I think Chelsea's coming on the Thursday. Um but I didn't really put like a push for the tickets like normally I'd put them in the group chats and stuff, but I just kind of kept it quiet. I just want to get over there, get the job done, get back on the win and uh yeah, the next one we'll bring a crowd with us. Yeah, absolutely. And look, I I suppose uh last Friday obviously against Ham Seo Hee didn't go your way. There was there was some nice moments in there. You hit her with some good shots, but like it it was one of those ones where I suppose her experience was massive in there. I think she had more fights in the UFC than you had pro fights uh lead leading into that one. Yeah. You know, coming off the last one obviously, we don't talk about it too much, but what was the mindset like after that one? I know I know you take them so personally when you lose. Yeah, I think like I kind of had accepted that one straight off the bat. Um like let's say when I lost my UFC debut. I'm still not over that. I'll talk a little bit about that fight after this fight when I get the win and explain what went on, but uh for now, yeah, it is what it is and I've accepted that and I'm moving on and ready to win again. Yeah, fair fair enough. And obviously you're you're taking on the cold this time. She's She's come down from flyweight to strawweight. Are you any worry or hesitation about her not making the weight or are you just you know, that's out of your control? No, I think she got her boobs removed, so I googled that there ABOUT 5 LBS. THE ABSOLUTE DEEP RESEARCH IN HERE BY SHAUNA BANNON. Me and Chelsea be seeing how much does fake boob weigh and I'm like she's about a C or a D. Your research is better than ours, I take it. Yeah, yeah, this is this is dialed in. We we did not research the boobs. Right, so that's what I'm worried about. No, no, NO, NO. UM SO, YEAH. OH, that was perfect. >> I'm sure she'll be fine. Like I'm sure she's made weight before, she's fought at strawweight in previous fights, so I'm sure she's a small frame. It's not as if she's huge, you know what I mean? She's like I have more I'm taller than I have more reach and like I'm bigger than her as minus the boob situation and now they're gone, so I I'd imagine she'll make it fine. I'm not worried about that. Big pro tip, get get your implants post-fighting career. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah, and then I'll stuff. That's what I'll be getting. That's in stride. Fair, fair, but uh yeah, obviously look, she's she's a finisher. I think all all eight of her fights have come by finish. Is there anything different you've done to prepare for that or you're just concentrating on you? Um well, I think all of her finishes were against a lot lower level opponents. Like it's not as if she was finishing people that were like eight and oh and stuff, so but come here, she's a good fighter, she's game, she comes to fight. you can see it in her like she's she wants to win. She's not there just to whatever, do you know? Um so, yeah, like I've been preparing well, I think like I'm a lot more this camp I'm a lot more um patient with myself. I'm sitting into my shots a lot more rather than blitzing and stuff. Um and I just feel like it's making my reaction so much better. Like I feel like this camp I've had the best spars I've had of my whole MMA career. So, I'm really excited to hopefully transfer that over on the night and uh I think it'll be a great performance if I can do that. Fair, fair. And look, I know I know you've been to a a good few UFC events now. Uh I think I think most recently saw you sitting down with the one of the craziest fighters in the game, Merab Dvalishvili. What what when you when you meet some of these guys, is do you just say a quick hello to them or do you look for a little bit of tips and advice off the guys who have held the belts? Do you know what? Like I met with Merab the first time um um in the PI and like he was only after winning the belt and I had fought maybe like a month before and he came over and he congratulated me and I was like, "YOU JUST WON THE BELT." Like he's so humble, do you know what I mean? He's so humble and it's like he doesn't like you wouldn't think that he's been the UFC champion so many times. You know the way some people kind of get like that ego or they think they're above people or whatever. He's just so down to earth and humble. Like it's it's so nice to see. I actually think I saw him scale a building there recently to get a photo with a window cleaner. Like he's he's he's insane. Like he's a he's a liability to himself, but uh no, it it it it is cool to see and I think we saw you there recently at one of the Cage Warriors events. Go on, Mac. >> Yeah, also like in the build-up to your fights, like they seem to get bigger and bigger, and like you can see like the Irish media more and more pushing you, and then in even the UFC giving you a big push as well. What's that like like as each fight goes on? And then you you just get more and more support each fight. Like how does that actually feel? Cuz like you know the Irish fans are the best in the world, you know yourself. Yeah, no, I know. Yeah, it's great. Like as I said, it's to know we put in so much to it, and some people don't even see the half of it like. So I mean, I've kind of been quiet on social media this camp. I'm just kind of like trying to stay in my lane and just stay focused, and day by day getting every session done the best, putting the best that I can into all that, and trying just to like stay calm and have a calm nervous system because MMA is crazy. Like you're going in and you're getting broke up every day, and you're in a calorie deficit, and you're doing hard hard rounds, and like sometimes people from the outside don't actually see what it is that you do. They just see you getting in and fighting. Like they might see all the goodness, going to shows, and going to do all these things, and it's like there's so much more behind the scenes that people don't know, do you know what I mean? So it is great to see that. Yeah, 100% like I was like even at times like if you get a little niggling in in camp or you know what I mean? Sometimes you might end up with a broken nose and then you're you're almost trying to hide that for a few weeks here like no no no it wasn't so like it's it's a tough slog the old fight camps. So, you know, a lot of those go into it and we're we're glad to see you getting the support that you deserve. Um look, I suppose Katie Taylor is about to do her swan song. Hopefully she does that in Croke Park and then after that like you you'll be by far than the most famous Irish female fighter in the country. So, you know what I mean? The the Never top from Katie, let's be real. Even though she's retired, she's still going to be the goat forever. >> Yeah, fair fair. Tell us this, obviously she wants to fight in Croke Park. That that's absolutely phenomenal. Like hopefully she does get it. I think it would be an absolute travesty if she doesn't. Is there any aspirations for where you'd like to take your fighting career in terms of location? Is there somewhere where you want to headline? Oh, 100% Ireland. Like I was talking to them before and I think it was like more of the logistics of it. But like if it was in the 3Arena, they would have to charge like stupid amounts to make what they make it let's say if it were on a London card or whatever. So, it just doesn't add up for them. That's what they were saying. That's the only reason they haven't came back. Um but maybe like if the boxing do a Croke Park and there's a system in place for a show to be held in Croke Park like martial arts wise cuz obviously it's normally football and stuff. Um you never know. Could be it could be an an option. May maybe if Katie gets that fight you could turn to Eddie Hearn and say Eddie Hearn said the UFC couldn't do it better. I'm not sure if it's all right. Yeah, but if it gets you in Croke Park, we're here for we're here for. Well, we'll see what we do. Yeah, fair. I'm not sure on the boss to make sure it happens. Fair. Look, obviously the the strawweight division is an interesting one at the moment, Shauna. Obviously Mackenzie Dern is the new champion but Uh, Weili Zhang looks like she could come back to the straw weight division. What way do you see that at the moment and, you know, who's who's the top top girl in the division at the moment in relation to that? Do you see Weili or do you see it McKenzie? Um, I think it's Weili. I think Weili is just like I think when she moved up to flyweight there was just kind of an opening in the division because it was like there's a couple people that could be champion. But I just think Weili is just like level. There's just levels and I just think she's just that little bit ahead of most of the girls. Um, McKenzie is an unreal fighter. Like I was actually when she won the belt I was crying cuz I don't want to run into the cage and all that. It was just like so relatable kind of like she's a single mom and like it's just a little bit relatable the story and like I'm delighted for her win and but I think if it comes to her and Weili, um, I think Weili just has that edge but uh like McKenzie's striking looked really good in that last fight. The best she's ever looked I think. Like obviously she's a girl with a background but like her striking did really look well in that fight. Yeah, abso- absolutely. And is there is there any dream fights that you have at the moment for yourself? Is there anyone who you're like I'd love to get in there and test test yourself against them? I would love after this one someone in the top 15 to like try and kind of bring up the rankings and that. Um, I feel like this will be my fifth fight in the UFC. Um, I just gain more and more like knowledge and experience each camp. And I think after I get this win I'll be ready to someone in the top 15. I don't really care about names, just someone with a number I'd like to get a number against my name then. Hopefully this year or early next year. Yeah, it'd be a a massive massive scalp for you to get get someone with a with an number next to their name there and look the like I said like that that division is absolutely stacked. Like you still have, you know, Jessica Andrade, Tabitha Ricci, Yan Joanne, Virna Jandiroba, Taila Santos like like the name recognition in the the strawweight division is massive and they're just waiting for Mama B to enter the chat as as the kids would say and get in there and get a get a name against the record. Tell us this, obviously we're April now you'll be fighting in May and it's you know your is your first fight of the year? So how how many do you can we get in this year? Like what's what's the goal for the rest of the year? Obviously we're talking goals here. Yeah, I'd love three like I'd love three but I reckon two. But if three popped up that would be amazing because once I'm fit and healthy like I'm ready to go back in again. Do you know what I mean? Try to keep the weight down and just stay active. Like that's what I want like my first five fights were like so fast and like I think I work well with that you know. So it'd be nice to get a couple back to back again. Obviously like if you're going a full fight like I had a few finishes in them fights so I wasn't down the full three three fives but yeah once I'm healthy I'm I'm ready to go. Yeah Shauna it seems like I know this is your fifth fight coming up on May 16th but it like it only seems like just yesterday that you only just signed with the UFC. Does it feel like the the time is sort of gone faster or slower? How's it feel for yourself? Yeah fast fast and slow actually like cuz I've obviously had a few injuries in the middle of it all. So like parts fast and parts slow but like I'm so grateful to be in the UFC like they're literally the best promotion. They look after you so well. Everyone in the PI like I work remotely with them a good bit and like it's just the stuff that they do for you is like people like I know people give out about like pay and everything or whatever but they really do look after you in comparison to any other promotion. Fair fair and and tell us this where is the Mama B Irish nation going to be going to be watching the fight is there where there be a venue where where the Mama B army goes to watch the fight? No no Ali's house will be hopping. The neighbors will be like shut THE [ __ ] UP. I CAN'T EVEN IMAGINE HOW LOUD THAT ROOM WOULD BE. YEAH. Oh stop. And then my mother's like shh shh shh shh shh not even allowed breathe. She doesn't even know what's going on. She's still like shut the hell up. WHAT'S HAPPENING? OKAY LADS AFTER LADS. I KNOW. She she She's a goat for fight moms. Yeah yeah yeah. She's got her own little show. Yeah yeah. She'll be on next time. Yeah. She's a goat. It's great to see me. But uh Shauna is Shauna is there anything else you want to say to the people that could be tuning in on May 16th to see you get your third win in the UFC live in Vegas? It might be a little bit late but it'll be worth the wait so stay up and watch me. Definitely definitely will be staying up late for that one. Okay. I can't miss it. Yeah, she she absolutely loves it. She's a a great role model for the girls in the in the country. She really really is and she she does she reps that that flag proud. She really really does. Yeah. Ross, just sticking on the women, like what other women should people look out for that are looking to eventually turn pro? Yeah, well there's a few who are young in the pro career at the moment. Um Eimear Darcy, she's obviously with Cage Warriors. We've seen her a few times. Um can't wait to see her back out there again. Uh Chloe O'Sullivan's fighting on Elite Fighting Championships in a few weeks down in Cork, so that should be looking to win her first pro fight. Um she's extremely talented, Alex O'Sullivan's sister. Um Shauna O'Neill is making a she's on an absolute tear at the moment. She's looking great. She's fighting out of Great Britain top team. Few amateurs as well. Amy Scully just got a fight announced there she's fighting 1% better every day, baby. Uh Sarah Elliott Sheridan, she must be knocking on the door of pro fight as well. So there's plenty of women who are on the open up and I think let's just increase that number going forward who are fighting on the big shows. I'm really looking forward to. And look, there's a few girls fighting this weekend. I think the local shows are seeing more girls fighting and I think that's really really important, too. Yeah. No, that's No, the the girls scene is definitely growing. And I think I think it's cool the way like Shauna will make videos with training with the girls and stuff as well. So like it's uh like it's just ever growing, so it's great to cover as well. Yeah, 100% and it's not even just the amazing, it's the grappling scene, it's the it's the kickboxing scene, it's the Muay Thai scene. There's girls all over who who are competing. Like Jen Coghill was fighting Rachel Malahagwe. I have no idea how to say her surname. But was that a rumble there the other night? Yeah. Yeah, and that was the main event. So, look, great to see. We love a banger. Yeah. And even at DG saying that they're going to win with that taking taking part as well. Yeah, 100% sure. There's a few girls on the ADCC who are signed up, Lisa Hughes and Rose Walsh, many many more. Like, I'm looking forward to seeing Leah McCourt Brown. Like, I think women combat sports is more exciting now than ever. Sure, look forward to be there. Katie Taylor in Croke Park, banger. What more do you want? Well, but they're here to take over, man. Yeah, they are. Yeah. So, right. We'll keep you up to date on everything Shauna Bannon related. May 16th is going to be a big night for Irish MMA. So, Ross, there was also a huge night for Irish MMA over the weekend as Cage Warriors 205 Glasgow went down and we had three Irish competitors on the card, Fight Academy Ireland duo Sennan Coakley and Owen McDonald and also Team Ryano's Graham Sheehan. Ross, we may as well start off with Sennan Coakley with an absolute absolutely brilliant performance in his debut fight in the Cage Warriors yellow gloves. Yeah, look, really entertaining by Sennan from start to finish. Won all three rounds really emphatically and he finished the fight in real emphatic style. Had a body triangle on his opponent's back. He was telling everyone he was praising Paddy McAlistair mid-fight throughout the fight at the end of the fight saying that that's Paddy McAlistair back work back work right there. And then he was telling his opponent, "You thought you could out-strike me." And then look, Sennan did land the better shots throughout the entire fight. Some lovely work, low kicks, some lovely check hooks, some lovely strikes to the body, some lovely knees in the clinch. Sennan Coakley, he looked leaps and bounds better than he did in his pro debut. It was a really really impressive performance. And in fairness in his pro debut, I think he needed his opponent's head clean off nearly where he kept the TKO. But you know he he looked like a much more seasoned performance from the sort of young veteran that he is. Like he has a lot of combat experience in terms of jiu-jitsu competitions. Obviously Muay Thai to beat the band pro boxing. He he's a really really young experienced competitor and I think he's only 21 22. So there's a lot left to be seen from Sine Kelleher and I'm looking forward to it. Yeah, I think the bigger cage definitely helped us well. Mhm. Helped his movement. He was he was able to dance around there. Yeah, he looked like he was in this flow state man. I was actually it was very like it was great to see and then seeing the way like John Mitchell was there with him and Pat and Shondo. So like Where do you see Where do you think he could go next Ross? Yeah, I I think he just needs to get the reps in in Cage Warriors. I think it's very rare you see someone that young in the cage that young into their pro career and that comfortable in the cage. There was no jitters. There was no nerves. He looked like he owned the moment and I think let's just keep getting him fights. I think that's the main thing I think keep him active. Okay, yeah. No, I can't wait to see him back in action as well. And look we'll talk about Graham Sheen as well. He got his first win as a pro and first win in the yellow gloves as well Ross. Yeah, look obviously he went in against Jeff Paiva. Jeff was more experienced as a pro than him. I think he had four fights coming into it. Graham only had one. And look Graham got in there. Jeff tried to touch him up after after touch gloves to start off with but once Graham got him down he worked his way to get the finish and got the rear naked choke. Look obviously Graham's been in the training room with some of the the best fighters in the country for years. He's been on the mats with Paul Redmond, on the mats with James Sheen, on the mats with Tom King Simon, Jai Harris, Lewis Byrne, like Adam Darby. All the training partners there from They all know how good he is and I think he finally got the chance to show how good he is to himself and as you said post fight he's not here to take part he's here to come and take that belt and he's he's a young contender in there now and I wouldn't be surprised to see him three or four more fights there and pushing for a title shot just based on the fact that he have the experience like he's struggled to get fights and because obviously the surname doesn't help you know what I mean when your brother's the Cage Warriors welterweight champion people are like I'll fight that guy Yeah. So it's hard it's hard so look he's you look you look really good in there especially after losing his pro debut against he he really need that win and he got the win and fought it smart. Yeah but just looking back at that Miro fight like Miro has a lot of experience. Oh 100% I think Miro is probably one of the most underrated fighters on the island he hits like he hits like an absolute ton of bricks and I think if he was in Octagon LFL FNC he'd be up there contending for a title. Exactly. I would think I would think he'd be a brilliant pick up by Octagon by the way. Yeah. But that was a great win for Graham and then let's see if he how active he can be now as well because uh they got well obviously after his debut he got to take some time off and uh look he went in there got the job done quite sharpish so we will see where he'll fight next. Uh there are no So hasn't been any update on any more Cage Warriors Dublin or Belfast events coming up soon so maybe more Irish fighters will have to compete over in England. Yeah well let's see I'm here for it as long as they're competing I'm here for it obviously my preference is they fight in Ireland but if if that's not the case well then let's keep the match up going where they do it. Exactly. Then just wrapping up on Cage Warriors 205 with Owen McDonald as he went in a short notice and was defeated. But like Ross, Owen put on a great show there and I think that he he's definitely earned a contract with Cage Warriors after stepping in on short notice and like and putting out the performance that he did. Yeah, look, he was a he stepped in on short notice and you can tell it was short notice cuz it was a catchweight fight as well. Owen gave a great account of himself. He ate a flying knee on stage and gave a left hand straight back. He is he's an absolute warrior. He's so well respected in the FAI gym. Everyone speaks so highly of him. And look, Jack it looks like he he's definitely one to watch as well. Let's not take any of credit away from Pound. He looks like he's definitely someone who's going to make a name for themselves under the Cage Warriors banner. But yeah, let's let's get Owen McDonald back out there as soon as he feels ready. He's he's a great talent and I'm looking forward to seeing him get get back out there again. Exactly, man. Exactly. So, we will discuss more UFC action at the end of the show. We're going to stick with the Irish combat scene. We have to give a shout out to the Livers Muay Thai goes on go goes on this Saturday in the Devenish, Ross. So, all you Muay Thai degenerates, make sure to check that out. But there are also two Irish MMA events on this weekend and we are going to discuss them now as Chaos Fighting Championship 26 goes down up in Derry on Saturday, Ross. And now we have three pro fights on the card as Fight Academy Ireland duo Blaine McGill and James Lavin compete in the card. And also Team Ryano Limavady's Daniel Thompson makes his pro debut as well, Ross. Yeah, look, three debut pro debuts going down in Chaos. I think it's a really really good card. I think all three are really exciting prospects. It'd be great to see Daniel Thompson back there. I think he tried to make his pro debut with the last Chaos card. Obviously, Derry is the hometown as well for Blaine McGill and James Lavin. So, I expect a very raucous crowd at this event and I expect them to blow the roof off the place so I'm definitely looking forward to see how it all goes down at Chaos. There's more good fights on the card as well. Jed Petals fighting Caesar Correra, that's been an interesting one. Louis Woods fighting CJ Armstrong. As we mentioned earlier on the show, there are some girls fighting on the show. Gemma Callaghan is fighting Caitlin Doone, which should be a a really interesting fight as well. And then we also have Coral Lamont versus Nicole Elliott. So look, great to see so many women fight on the card and one definitely not to be missed is a heavyweight clash between Destiny Destiny [ __ ] Ezebouze. Is that how you say it? And he's fighting Johnny Ward for the heavyweight title. But let's call a spade a spade, everyone is super interested in the three pro debuts. I think Blaine McGill in the main event, he has bad blood with Tartan Blood. I think that one's going to be an absolute barn burner. Expect Blaine McGill to try and get that done early in the first round. He looks like he has bad blood with this man. He will look to try and take his head off. James Tavern, another man who's making his pro debut in his hometown. Expect a massive reception for him. I think it's going to be one and oh for him as well. And then team Ronan O'Loughlin of Valley's Daniel Thompson. He's making his long way to pro debut. He was out of the cage for a while. He was scheduled to make his pro debut before. Well, yeah, the thing is right, Blaine McGill, we've said this for ages. Anytime Blaine McGill fights is a fight you have to watch. He's an absolute dog in there, man. And he really is. This like even the last guy he fought was about 6'8 and he like just showed him who who who the boss was and this is a big fight like Blaine O'Gallagher is another person who people are going to be knocking on the door for. Like Kate imagine Blaine O'Gallagher in Cage Warriors man. Yeah, absolutely. I think he is someone who has absolute bucket of talent. Stand up is really really exciting to watch. He's also underrated submission skills and I think he's really really going to show it out off on the night. I'm really excited to see him. And look James Gallagher is an absolute veteran of the amateur game. He's got 17 or 18 amateur fights under his belt. He's more than ready to turn pro. So I'm really really looking forward to see him. And then Tony Thompson will want to be saying y'all must forgot when it comes to this fight. So I'm looking forward to it. Unfortunately Sean Kelly won't be fighting on the card now. So we nearly had four pro fights which is unheard of on the on the island. But uh look it is what it is. We'll we'll have to accept three. Great title fights there and some great undercard action as well. So Chaos Fighting Championships 26 is going to be an absolute banger. But it's not the only show in town that weekend Bas Rutten. No Ross that that is Saturday night and then Sunday night Gladiator 3 is back and in the like we have Eamonn Corr making his pro debut. Still yet to be confirmed who he's taking on. But one of the biggest fights that is going to happen this year with an all Irish clash as Ciaran McSweeney from ZKJ taking on Corey McLoughlin from Fight Academy. Ross this fight is massive man. Yeah, these are two of the best young prospects in the country. Corey McLoughlin you know the amount of times he's been shouted out by Paul Hughes one of his main training partners as someone who gives him problems in the gym. The man looks like he's built out of stone. He obviously got a win against a home woody last time out. So that's an absolute massive fight for him. And fair play to Corey McLoughlin. Mario Di Stefano, the home wedding, and now Kieran McAssey. Demand is only taking hard fights, and he has to be praised that. And then Kieran McAssey absolutely took the amateur scene by storm. He was probably one of the pound-for-pound best amateurs in the country, if not maybe the best. Undefeated amateur, and then stepping up and now taking on Cormac O'Clocain in his pro debut. What a fight. Like, this fight is absolutely blockbuster for the Irish MMA scene. Yeah. This is going to be Yeah, Jack Jack Corr got the got the night off. New main event in town. And then also shout-out to Emma Corr, who has been an absolute veteran of the Irish amateur scene. He is now making his pro debut as well. The Corrs are going to be on fire. They really really are, because they're not the only Corrs that are there. We also have Callum Corr, who's fighting on the night as well. So, really looking forward to that. And then Michael Shields is fighting Ross George for the featherweight belt. That's That's a really big fight. And then this one I'm really looking forward to. Vadim Bergoi versus Joshua Hogsett. Joshua Hogsett is out of Z J K. He's been unbelievable every time he fights recently. He's just been a highlight reel. And Vadim has been an absolute terror. So, that's a massive bantamweight fight to watch out for. So, you know what? GladiatHers is definitely holding its own come Sunday. It is definitely a card to be watched. Unbelievable stuff. Main event, one of the best Irish main events that you're going to get this year. Unbelievable stuff. That could have been on PFL, and I would have been happy to see that there, no doubt about it. Emma Corr also entering the pro game alongside his brother. Unbelievable stuff to see. Michael Shields, former Enda Joyce Amateur of the Year, fighting defending his title against Ross George. And Vadim Bergoi versus Hogsett. Unbelievable stuff. And not only that, there are women's fights on this card as well, as Megan takes on Olivia O'Neill. So, shout-out to the girls as well. Gladiator doing bits on Sunday. Saturday, Sunday, fill your boots and may fans because the MMA Joyce show will be covering it all. As always, man. As always, man. I love having a small bit of Irish MMA every weekend, but if you want to give me a lot of Irish MMA, I'll take that as well. Well, no, exactly. Especially somebody who scraps, man. Like obviously we can't like we can't go into all of them in massive detail, but also like Peter O'Reilly against Thomas Carrigan and also James Wallace against Robbie Whitehead. That's a great card. Yeah, like I mean, look, this is top of the range stuff and then uh Look, I cannot wait to cover that as well on Sunday, man. So shout out to the to Danny Cor. Who who Which Cor is going to walk out to the play with the Cors, man? That is the real question. And shout out to Fight Academy Ireland as well cuz they got a new gym coming I think in this week, so that'll be that'll be a big big weekend for them. Unbelievable stuff. Yeah, man. Bank holiday weekend, man. Um also next week we just want to give a shout out to Elite Fighting Championships 8 will be going down in Cork as well. At the moment they have three pro fights announced in it. Kyle Sullivan, they also have Ross Kearney and then Ronan Deegan as well all going to be competing on that card, so that's going to be very exciting as well. Ross, just before we wrap things up over the weekend in the world of UFC, Aljamain Sterling won in the UFC main event Apex. Um Um, what did you make of it and who would you like to see him take on next before we discuss who's fighting this weekend in UFC? Yeah, I think Aljamain Sterling, obviously, a top top talent, I think. Obviously, former UFC bantamweight champion, and now he's open to featherweight division, doing bits. I think it's either title shot or number one contender shot next for Aljo. I think he he's right there thereabouts. Him versus Volkanovski, would I watch that? Yes. I know he lost to Movsar Evloev, but it was it was a good fight. He gave him a good run for his money. Um, so hard to say. I think that's going to be the next fight. So, look, I think Aljo against any of the top contenders will be very, very interesting. I think him versus Yair would be interesting in some regards just cuz it's a striker versus grappler, but I think Aljo's next fight needs to be on the Volkanovski card. I think that's the most important thing. I think that he fights the same night, and he's the next man up against Movsar Evloev next. And this weekend, UFC arrive in Perth. Uh, Jack Della Maddalena takes on Carlos Prates in the main event. Ross, what do what do you make of this fight? Like, Jack Della Maddalena, former welterweight champion, Carlos Prates, looking to make a run for the title, and he's like one of the most liked fighters in the welterweight division. Yeah, I see I I think it's going to be very interesting to see how Jack Della Maddalena bounces back. I think Carlos Prates is the one who's on form at the moment. Yeah. I would sort of fancy him to get the job done. I think he hits the hardest out of all the 170-pounders. Um, I think I could see him putting Jack Della Maddalena out. Also, one last thing, shout out to Magomed Bibulatov, who is also fighting on a pro fight at Elite Fighting Championship. So, there's actually four fights down there, Basil. Okay, fair play, man.
