How good did that feel in front of the hometown crowd?
I felt unbelievable. Like to get a finish like that in front of all my friends and family and all. You can't beat that. That was perfect.
It feels like there was a big clean contingent here tonight. So hopefully that cheer you onto a bonus.
Do you feel like that was enough to get the five grand?
Hopefully, yeah, you heard the lads, there's some chance going, you know, it's always a good vibe when I'm fighting like the boys and my friends who support me like they're unreal.
So, yeah, hopefully, like, geez, maybe cage words are happy with that to put me up there for that bonus 100% I definitely think you're up there for it.
Anyway, look, this lightweight division, you're right at the top of it.
If you challenge this fight and Davey's next for the lightweight title, would you like to get on that card in case any of them pull out that you could maybe step in for that title fight?
Yeah, that'd be sick. Yeah, but I don't think I'm going to be after a few things I have now.
I don't think I'm going to be able to go on eight weeks, but like, yeah, 100%, I think maybe one more fight and I'm at the belt.
You know, if not, if not me, there might be someone else ahead of me.
I think if I am to fight again in the end of this year, maybe it could be for a contender fight.
One fighter, another lightweight fight that happened to me was Kenny Mochnawana versus Solomon Simon.
Is Kenny something you might look at fighting in the future, a bit of Irish on Irish violence?
Like I wouldn't say I taught a fine Kenny, but like yeah, like I know we're just we're up there
He bet Simon the X champs of like enough me and Kenny are up there and he wants to go
