GladiatÉire Fighting Championships and ZKJ are proud to link up with the incredible work being done by White Ribbon NI. 

Together, we stand for respect, accountability, and ending violence against women and girls. Combat sports are built on discipline, honour, and protecting one another — values that reach far beyond our sport. 

This month, we were proud to take part in the White Ribbon training course, learning more about how we can help create safer communities and lead by example both inside and outside of the sport. 

We’re honoured to support a movement creating real change and helping build a better future for the community. Listen, Learn, Lead is a unique program that works to challenge the attitudes and beliefs which lead to violence against women and girls in Northern Ireland. Led by expert trainers, participants embark on a transformative journey, examining personal biases and engaging in open, honest dialogue. 
 
Session 1, “Listen,” identifies and acknowledges the issue, delves into Northern Ireland’s statistics around violence against women, giving space for empathy building. 
Session 2, “Learn,” explores root causes and societal factors perpetuating violence against women and girls. 
Session 3, “Lead,” equips participants with practical tools, including bystander intervention techniques, to effect change in their everyday lives. 
 
Listen, Learn, Lead empowers individuals to actively contribute to preventing violence against women and girls in Northern Ireland. 
 
We believe violence against women starts with thoughts and words before action and in tackling this issue we need to empower, educate and equip society, promoting honest dialogue, that leads to cultural and societal shifts ensuring lasting change
