Hailing from the Knocknaheeny area of Cork, Whitehouse is looking to  established himself as one of the most promising prospects in the European amateur circuit, earning the moniker "The Roy Keane of MMA" for his relentless work ethic and humble, focused demeanor.

Before his official amateur debut, Whitehouse was a prolific youth fighter, representing Team Ireland at multiple IMMAF World Championships in Abu Dhabi.

He is also an accomplished Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu practitioner, having secured gold medals at ADCC and winning titles at both white and blue belt levels.
