the dark horse he's on the feed that flyway it's kieran mulholland and on the other side we have imaf gold medalist making his professional debut the bali moon superman harris vlad how are you doing oh good all good can't complain hello returns to belfast and it's going to be on in the definition and the two lads are taking on each other for the fly away toilet ross the second this was announced like we're absolutely buzzing yeah yeah all you are straight away i think this is one of the best domestic fights that ireland can put on i think it's very rare there is nobody better that's it that's not what i mean you know it's quite rare that uh on a card you get two flyweights headlining the show but that just goes to show the color of these two athletes in the main event they are two to the best ireland has to offer so jer i'm gonna start with yourself um what does it mean to you to make your debut on cage conflict and fight for the belt straight away uh to be honest i don't really think too much about the belt it's it's a look on on [ __ ] deloitte to make me proud about and actually make a bang on the saying now and like especially fighting someone like hair on [ __ ] well-rounded like we know each other a while like i've met him when we were away in bahrain and that he's a lovely one and he's a great foyer so nobody had rather faced than someone like himself now what i mean there's no point in coming on him for you and bombs like know what i mean you come out here you can avoid the best and uh from what we've watched him the same occurred on he fights everybody so like it's this voice being probably a coming a long time probably probably could have fought each other amateur but the time state and link up for yeah now it's gonna be a great fight and i'm looking forward to it and it's gonna be a great show and i look forward to fighting on the show in the future as well i'm staying busy i pro proud there's gonna be no breaks if there's a pull out a day before or for you anybody i don't give a [ __ ] anybody can have it i'm absolutely loving this lad kieron um just touching yourself obviously since you moved to floyd academy ireland since you moved back down to flyway you've been undefeated what has been the change in camp been like for you and what's the change in mindset um it's been muscle the change remains that it's just the guys in training with mac i sort of when i was mma club as the best guy and there was no one really posting on them up on the gym right through my opposite animals every day i'm getting posted every day so from the change of my inside myself but it's also the coaching structure it's just that's fantastic and i feel like i've improved tenfold maybe a hundred folks can join for a camera and the results pick from sales three foundations and three fates three and over last year so and that's one big big big year for me as well i'm hoping to stay busy this year maybe just four on this year i'll be cool would still sort of linger a little bit last year i had two two face cams i could call it so do you think doing a three five minute rounds is going to go into your favor on this occasion carry on i think this is going to be real fast pace and whether it goes wondering whether it's with three rounds going real fast pace um and that's something you don't really you can't really know too much and i think i'll be him two charge first five minute rounds and say the keys may play a bit faster but i'm sure he's only well prepared and jared uh just want to touch on obviously you're moving up to five minute rounds but also your cage time has been very limited for the last two years i think we've only seen you out there twice uh are we going to see a different jr harris than we've ever seen before yeah that's that's that's the case with every 48 i can't look back at the last for each especially especially amateur fuji and proof so much in between let me tell you what i mean i'm always here to show them the best and like yeah it's [ __ ] i'm always improving everywhere okay i know caroline's a good lad he's fighting out of a good gym as well and now what that chain brings along so yeah prepare them for everything but i think ringtone and ring roast i think that's something people like to play on the head i'm not worried about that we're all going bread for this smaller man come to i come here to fight now what i mean for you the fight fighting is what i do it's not it's not certainly like oh yeah i just started because i wanted it i wanted to be a [ __ ] ufc for it and now we've just always done this so like ring rust and things like that having big rounds in the gym every week there's plain bodies coming through different bodies and we've always done five minute rounds like we've never done tree all our fight simulators all four men around so like it'd be different to be in the cage and it's going to be a bit of a different environment being in there for five minutes but i've i've had i've had long flights so like i've had a couple of decision uh wins as well so it's it's not gonna be nothing i haven't seen before yeah but we last we obviously have a massive respect for the fai and spg charlestown but jared like you're obviously making your debut and kieran's like he's obviously like he's five fights into his pro career do you think that like when disney when karen's name came to you do you think that it was like did you hesitate a bit because like he's obviously five fights into his career and you're making your debut now do you know what we actually and no one's not on today or anything or just so remember that paul was like struggling to get voice we're struggling to get fights we we i remember at one stage he had a lad coming over from sweden or something and then there was lads from england looking to fight me and i was like if someone so i get given a name i just say yeah i don't even want to know where that from i heard yet but what i said to paul was uh like i was paul i asked for appearing on my holland because i know he's game and he'll fight now what i mean i know he's a good for you as well and obviously like uh like i feel like it can be anybody so it's i'm not it wasn't that i was like ah he has a couple of fights and now he has great experience but at the end of the day i'm moving around with lads every week like he's saying in his gym he used to be the best in this gym now he's going in and having hard rounds we've always have that like yeah you always have them hard rounds in the gym so when i was saying like looking for photos like [ __ ] hell i was like why don't we just ask here on my holland and now he's game and he'll go for an hour i mean and he comes out looking to fight it's it's like that's one thing that's consistent with him you don't you never see him like give away easy easy wins in amateur and anything he was always a tough fight so we're now coming on to the pro saying if i'm gonna make a bang on the brow saying why not why not fight one of the best yeah karen what about yourself when jer harris's name came to you like what did you think i wasn't too surprised about it yourself i sort of know we have that real for irish broth and we we should be shortly fighting anybody um so it wasn't it wasn't who's crazy he took the thing but i was glad though because he's a real high level fighter i'll say other other me he's probably one of the best drivers in country so it's a good it's good fight for myself that's also a good fit for all of all the fans there's a lot of hate behind it that's for good reason it's two person company we want the trade show you see you hear boxing all the time they avoid each other you hear guys getting a record pilot oh for this event is not you cannot miss it russ for the people that are at home it's not going to be on pay-per-view so if you want to watch it you're going to have to go to it but like what can people expect at the devinish on the 5th of march ross yeah well like to me all eyes are on this main event you have you know caramel holland he's walking in with the belt coming out of fort academy ireland they were the best gym in the country last year there's no doubt about it uh paul hughes and john mccollugan both won world titles and out of that gym last year the year couldn't have been any better for him but like jared harris you know i'm off gold medalist like it's well known that he actually did struggle to get fights and no one wanted to sign the contract to fight this man and coming out of his own gym you know you have the likes of max lally he's probably the most touted prospect in the entire country you know andreas bender went undefeated last year like these guys have unbelievable bodies in their gym and i can't wait to see what these two put on in the cage i think there's only about 30 tickets left so make sure to get them there's no need to stay yeah boys and this probably line up to be 40 of the year already expect a high pace and expect [ __ ] foyer walks me in the shower coming for it and unfortunately more imposing this is what it's all about now you come here and we fight the best but yeah now remain my three weeks out and it's [ __ ] it feels good to be back and having the ball rolling where the four and that this one has gone nowhere and he's here for you and i'm looking forward to it because that's all you ever want to know what i mean it's not emotion you have cones pulling out you want someone who's going to be like we want to be able to say they shown foot in three weeks and not being like god this can't wait to pull out or this might happen or that might happen you know you know what's going down always their tail names are on the character no boat wasn't going out for it know what i mean i'm being the main event i'm sure carolyn has a great following up there and i'm going to bring up a good following and i'm going to continue i will do can like continuous for the cat oh this is going to be a [ __ ] smasher so if you haven't haven't got tickets yet go [ __ ] get them because i'm not going to see a more hoy paced and [ __ ] exciting fly away for you for the rest of the year probably unless before you again this is exactly why we love covering the sport this is exactly why we love covering irish mma and this is exactly why this fight is all missable for us yeah absolutely kieran i i want to ask yourself a question do you feel being the champ um being close at home you'll have that big hometown support and will that make a difference here uh difference no i i even through cover that i sort of like zoning um absolutely love the atmosphere after the fight when i get the foundation whatever else but sort of when i'm when i make i walk i'm just in a pure zone and i'm so glad that if it couldn't defeat it it'll not make a massive difference but uh i'll i'll go to fade i'll just soak all out my friends or suck it all up it may be hot it could be hard for jared he's gonna be walking into probably every hundred hundred tickets hundred fifty here so i'm sure he's gonna bring an army of his own um he might even bring a hundred people up and it's gonna be an awkward banging atmosphere with a brand new fight but uh in terms of sword atmosphere and like bringing the bringing the balance eventually these are focused on the guys in front of me and now he's in the crowd now he's sort of yeah still fill the building you wouldn't have to put anybody else on the card and we'd still fill the whole place now what i mean if you know but one thing about that is like we've never fought in dublin now remain so conflict would want to get a carrot down anyways because we've never fought at home so we've now i've never had a home crowd you know what i mean doesn't matter who's there at the end of the day there's only two geezers in that cage and that's me and himself and are you bringing the crowd up what's your jar yeah i'm bringing the gold crowd looking the [ __ ] have a good few tickets sold i'm looking i'm looking to get more down because uh they're all gone and i have loads of asking so i'd be looking if we could get 150 tickets so it's sell 150 tickets now what i mean so hopefully oh like [ __ ] touchwood nobody pulls out with a cardboard if someone pulls out hopefully i get that tickets and i can [ __ ] bring it up and be [ __ ] yeah it's great i'd say the atmosphere the night and obviously when [ __ ] the points are all over and it's all said and done and it's all open smoke that that that's what that's when it matters your family our friends are there you can enjoy yourself then and [ __ ] soak it all up like here on ted it's [ __ ] it adds to the night like so yeah now it should be a cracker like yeah i'm full convert
