are champions no more because they've left for pastors now they're both now with the UFC and we're deloitted to have them on for a second time in the build up to UFC Paris Lads how excited are you again yeah super excited like it's you know it's next week it's unbelievable it's um what a great position on a great platform to have and one that we're both on a relationship I'm over yourself Kailyn I can't wait it's like when you're saying it's weeks away week two eight weeks away but nice and next Saturday so I'd say I get in close Lads poison Lads welcome to the show and we're absolutely posing to see perform and UFC Pirates Roth like what what do you think is the way the whole country's reacted to two Lads so in with UC yeah I think everyone's behind the lads and so they should be and I think it's very deserved that the two Lads I've got here um and I think they're two great representatives of the country and I can't wait to see them do the business over there and Reese obviously this is your second time here um what a voice would you give to Caleb based on your experience first time out he doesn't need advice but I think you know he's he's uh had a lot of big fights he's at Big Night experience so he'll be just fine um like when I went in the first time I probably didn't have that just as much so um you know totally different circumstance you know he's used to the big crowd he'll be just fine I know it also um if I want to experience it'll be the same I'll give to anyone doesn't enjoy it as as I'm sure he will hello yeah I I think you will okay um I think you're relatively the big shows and uh you'll make yourself known uh Caitlin switch on this obviously your last fight was a world title fight before that you filed a former world champion has preparation changed now that you can sign into the UFC do you feel like the intensity is picked up or is there anything that you're doing different or is the same stuff just a new show uh I I think people panic they're like sees UFC contract all I need to go to America and they just need all these different things that it's worked thus far so no one needs to change and my last bit was five fives that was probably a slightly harder training camp to be honest three phases is uh it's not obviously it's basically half the Fate so it's not quite as hard a training camp but they're not nothing changes I trust my team trust my coaches trust the preparation so why change it now you don't mean same thing it's a three-round feeds and they're what's the difference I mean and I've heard some people say that you know the three rounders I know they're shorter and maybe yeah it's not as long as I can but it's more of a Sprint do you find that it's a different style if I absolutely listen to down my crew sends to uh he said he underestimate when he came back to three fives he basically got racked because he thought it'd go all day but the pace the difference so no it's that it's literally it's like going from amateur to Pro three three minute rounds to five and rounds it's a different sport so I've been back to three yeah but not very very different yeah I know exactly um yeah that's just in the build up as well I've been watching what you've been put up on social media like you really are hyping up this fight like like I know you originally saw him with UC loads of people got in contact like if things finally settle down and you're like right I'm only just solely focused on UFC Paris on the 2nd of September Rhys yeah you know what like I've been um you know obviously I've done bits of the videos and stuff and you know the lads are amazing at capturing that but like I've been very shut off to you know it's it's very much work here and um there's so much there's only so much media you can do but at the end of the day yeah on September 2nd I have to get and fight someone so preparation is key and you know I love sound I love making the hype to get back into the FC but once I'm there I'm like no I've got what I need now so um the head's down and you know the media stuff is always there but it's ground yeah I suppose they're the real Hope For You reasons to get get the UFC and get that win as well like that's that's that's obviously where your hunger is at and uh I know I asked Caitlyn but as anything changed in preparation for this camp for you or is it uh same reason key same result same finish you know what it is and it means you know it's like it feels as normal as a fire is Jimmy that is just um you know this is just where we're meant to be right now and uh as as I actually thought today is the first free round in a while because obviously me and Jimmy went to the end of the fourth and and Justin under the third I believe so I'm coming right here to Sprint like you know only Liam said today this is the Sprint and I'm coming out Full Throttle full clip straight away so I'm just gonna I'm just gonna go and see in here it's nice to not have the five rounds so I'm looking forward to that piece yeah things are getting real as well but wait the two Lads told us that usada have been calling into the house and Reese actually took a picture of your man and Caleb said he bombed getting a selfie can't an unbelievable man [Music] [Laughter] oh yeah like it's one of those things where I thought it definitely uh is probably something that makes the experience more real as well but it is like this part of the part of the journey do you guys have enough actually to like sort of fill out your location yeah yeah just professional in the school life yeah definitely yeah that's just us on a selfish note for myself like covering MMA like covering the UFC coven rsma like one thing that I really really loved seeing is lots of yourselves having these Amazing Stories then finally signing in the big leagues and then showing everyone else around the country that it can be done again and that is being done more and more and more also oh the shadow in Gary winning over the weekend Sean abandoned into UFC like hoping to see more faces in the UC so that's like honestly covering the sport and watching you last progress into UC is just uh it's an amazing feeling and it's been unbelievable being there for some of your biggest wins and enjoying them which is after you've been on the show so that's why like myself Ross are definitely gonna be pushing this your fights on September 2nd like like as if it's like a World Cup final Ross yeah well you know what I was only saying that UFC team 92 in Boston had in Gary phone and then obviously bracketownal change out of SPG Ireland so like that was a a big weekend and then like in two weeks home you have another big weekend in UFC Paris and like these are the weekends as MMA fans that you live for and these are the ones that like we look forward to most so like I can't wait to see it and one thing that obviously you know I asked recently having a voice for Caitlyn okay obviously you went into the lion's den in Italy and you you fall against the hometown guy now you're both fight against Hometown guys in France uh do you have any advice for Reese go on it going in there and not being the fan favor because he's you've been the fan favorite I'd say for the last three or four fights uh just take it in because it is [ __ ] deadly like just the media even the fight week like getting on stage like like having everyone tuning in like it's gonna be showing on Verge Media Sports as well it's gonna be showing on UC foil pass as well obviously but like the whole country is going to be tuning in because the two years for sure like um you know I watched a lot of aliens like you know press and stuff and the lead up and I think I found that very much like you know almost like a visualization thing like where I can almost see it now for for myself well obviously like listener is there is you know but this isn't it's not weird it's not you know we haven't won a prize to be here but [ __ ] we're far away there every punch and every kick and elbow so um it's time to relish under the lights and the lights are there for us like do I mean that's that's it like we've earned every step of it so it's just time to soak on it and obviously research you know you just throw something in there obviously that was an unbelievable performance for my what did you make of them and are you someone who watches the wealth away division like a hawk as well oh for sure like yeah I mean I'm a fight fan too like so I think his performance is unbelievable like you know a lot of people are saying how bad magnet was but I think we'll have to give Ian a lot of credit to what he's done as well he's totally shot shot his game I do think Magnus pretty terrible too but I think it's if you've done them uh see to be honest our top 15 in in the UFC well it's just wide open I think there's harder from the depth of the division like you know the low like the people aren't even right they're the harder fights than the ones that are in there so if anything it showed me that you know I'm I'm up there I should be in that top five already yeah I think me about searching last time that sort of five to Champion is really a wealth away and then yeah bar one or two outside of that like you know it gets anyone can be anyone on their night so uh it is a really interesting vision and it's interesting to watch someone on the Roy's up and then like you know see like you know as I say fight the phone okay keywords not mad in that term but like you know that's that's the way we saw it at the weekend and then uh obviously Kanan we know you uh watched the Banff by it's like a hawk uh what should make Channel Mali versus aljo I did not think he was gonna win I knew you had a chance and stuff but I I actually wanted him to win but I thought I corrected Aldo or I'll do the one so I don't believe a lot of stuff like literally stuff for dreams it was like uh it's just it was just buzzing for him I guess literally what you're working for and see him achieve that was like it was class so not fair play them I'm gonna put them all notice next to RNA don't make no mistake as soon as I read this friend to get him job in the mic let them know yeah Irishman [Laughter] I see he's got there I got like the Ireland sleeves yeah but like you know what they say there's two there's two types of people in the world there's Irish and then those who wish they were Irish yeah I think he's like 60 something percentage that's what that's what they were saying so well we're claiming when we can run use harlemen yeah yeah yeah yeah that was a yeah back we were interviewing the smaller frog Island you know yeah we've moved up we've moved up to the big leagues here lots for people tuning in here if they haven't seen you before I'm sure they're gonna be like who are these two are slots competing on UC Paris in the second of September like what sort of what you want to do in in the UC what is your like goals now that you saw in with UFC like Reese you're obviously back now like the two years looking to win titles here Reese first please oh 100 lesson that says two rough again it's two hardest sport not to be going after the Gold like um lesson like I said everybody is there for the Tekken everybody is beatable in this game and um I know I can touch the gold so I 100 will not stop until on my quest to get there okay and what about yourself or just the interim title for you or do you want to foolish your bank I think I'd be a Sean O'Malley right now yeah I think he's probably about to fight cheetah bird I think he is absolutely shade so let's be honest ly I was gonna hit a sound point there and one more for the bad guy almost done oh stop it you just you just know what he's going to say you know what are they dweebs is that okay yeah people enjoyed that one yeah yeah uh Reeves tell us this uh and loser uh what did you bring to the table for you I think we we had a few voice notes uh back and forth when uh we first found out uh but what's your take on them I mean like I think he's durable and he's tough um I think what he brings to the table isn't enough as in the rain this isn't a Chill song on rhyme yeah I just don't think he does just doesn't know enough to bring to the table like these two basically he's very kind of old-fashioned style and if we finish them you know durable and tough's not enough anymore so um I'm just skilled and like I'm on the fight anywhere so that's what I'm gonna do yeah well my parents like that hasn't got to finish since 2016 recently you're all day every day finishes so you know I mean we expect you to get a mail there as you do yeah finish recorders is that something that you want to keep hold of because not anything I've created by like it's just not by chance it's almost just my fighting style I think you know and he's there to be hit and if he's there to be he's there to be slapped then and that's what's going to happen well he will be a nice little uh nice little um feather in your bowl because he hasn't been finished yet so uh he he's up against that 100 finish right right so let's have a uh I looked at the fight before and I think I've said this to you I think uh your boxing's gonna be too much from I think he he loads up quite a bit yeah he's going to try and travel you know what is is a typical five pan muscle buying you know a striker like you know you you have a postcard for everyone he's gonna send you um lesson let's see yeah I mean we're going to be on the cage next Saturday night I'm going to bring a lot of new tricks to the table um is going to go to sleep that's what we want to hear about that's what we want to hear and then uh kind of I'm getting excited already what does Giannis gamori bring to the table uh it's quite it's not a striker but uh I don't know I'm the bookie's biggest favorite in this yard and I guess with good reason you know I mean I've I'm not that impressed with them to be honest with these chins up and I stay at a homeless album Harry guard if he was in the top five O'Malley would light him up corusanegan would light him up Sterling with some items so I need a deal with them simple as that I uh I'm not gonna go lock on the Finish over somewhere out there but I I say at home certain areas or I should be putting the scared of Asia I mean yeah absolutely I suppose um your last Camp will probably help because obviously there was a lot of wrestling going into the last camper and then yeah I'm sure you've level up that wrestling since that's all I'm sure that the Thai Town should be handy for you in this fight every time I've ever held abandon my detectives just being honest this kid's never actually funny you say that this is a sports fan Bantam he's actually very big okay that's after after um Ian's win over the weekend Dan White said that there has to be one more flight from before he brings the UC back to Dublin like when you're here when you hear people talking about UC Dublin and like you're part of UC now like what sort of what sort of goes through your mind uh Reese yeah like this class like to be honest it's it's really good um I think it'd be good to be part of that big event you know it has to be big if it comes back to Dublin um and I mean at the nicest way like you know it would need to be The Real McCoy like a foreign Belfast a lot like if we're going to do Dublin let's do it big and you know I'm sure if they're coming back they're going to so yeah I want to be involved with it like I want to be involved okay and what about yourself put uh like I got a name um I remember McGregor fighting Brando I couldn't I was in school I couldn't afford a ticket to build it but I remember watching like it was yesterday and of course I was inspired at that stage what what was that a kid with a stupid dream who literally got laughed at so if there was any amateur in Ireland who has this goal like I I account stress is enough like me and racing through their geometry amazing we fought together engage Wars cards me and he already fought the air on Clown Wars characters Paul Hughes May fought cars haven't so if the if this is your dream it's there so not to be part of Dublin card would be like very very special and if one loud from Corona Ireland watches and was able to watch me erase them and he'd poke up the sport and let's talk about dream now that'll be us doing our part will never be just special be part of a lot you know [Applause] yeah that was actually myself and Ross's first ever USC event it was absolutely magical yeah yeah and then this SEC we walked out we're like right we're starting Ireland's biggest MMA UC podcast and then look where we are now baby [Laughter] here's a quick question for you obviously you know the town in Ireland at the moment is probably as big as if not bigger than it's ever been like you know the the UFC is bound to come back to them on some stage but obviously you know yourselves and then obviously some of my Paul user who it's inevitable for him to get signed you know what I'm almost secrecy in like swimming Paul use at this stage just give them the contract at this stage because like like how much more are you gonna make that fella Pride himself around before before we get him signed but uh would you guys love to eventually see another UFC Belfast I remember uh you should know Kami fought up in a in Belfast on stage would you guys love to get it obviously from being up north to get a Belfast showing as well because I think with the European time at the moment with yours time at the moment we could start having a show a year if not a second show in a year yeah I think that you know look look at that look at how the companies the scenes going they're all getting signed like it's going to be inevitable they're gonna have to do more of us in Dublin um listen wherever they're in Ireland north south um I was almost gonna say West but I don't mean that uh ruthless and it'll just be it'll just be unbelievable of you know Warriors lads who want to explain the flag in our company yeah well I think uh UFC fell in Northern London for a while and I think once they come back to Dublin they'll fall in love again I was in the crowd for Tom and volkov and I talked about unbelievable credit was very very overrated I thought to be honest but I think that's about that I think sometimes they're not used to the European Vans I mean the Americans and European fans there's like geez this is insane because it's like being at a football game or something like this the singing and the Chance in this next level and I don't think it's sort of weird because the Americans don't really get behind like an American well there must be yeah like you I remember uh Steven mioja fought in Cleveland and that's where he's from and like the crowd went insane from and I was a bit like he shouldn't leave Cleveland they should just have him fighting Cleveland every single time and like making made to be a superstar but like sometimes obviously you love toy and somewhere like Vegas but I'm sure the fans are more fickle there they're more like this is the noise as opposed to I'm going to UFC yeah yeah so like it it is for the interesting as well so you know what uh seldom is wonderful but uh we'd like to have them a lot more you know if you come to Ireland you know I mean like we're gonna blow the jocks off the place casement Park Sunday that's that's the one UFC case from Park how many people how many people laugh here well it's a it's like an old Wasteland at the minute it's not even built so I don't know but it would be uh the harder West Belfast it would be something special let me tell you you called it here first he called you here first that's like the build up was happening now UC Paris like the whole country is going to be tuned in that like I'm absolutely myself and Ross are hoping to be there we're just seeing a freeze and Kevin can sponsor us to go over we'll talk about that afterlades but here for people tuned in now we're going to give you lots of fun word Reese what do you company but listen it's it's not about getting here it's about taking heads and I'll do that with uh with Irish Country behind me okay Karen what about yourself would you look ready to uh spit some
