cage Warriors 153 Dublin and team Rhino special we've got Adam Darby and Solomon saw him and Lads how are we doing Ross before we get started I just want to say but the money you allowed to make and I just want to send us out a pair of glasses in the post or something to wear you know oh sorry don't don't worry we'll have class for your companions day right sure did you get a pair up in Belfast last one there they are once you've got the new ones in now I want the new ones these are the OG ones these are vintage ones I swear to God there obviously at the moment we have a cage where it's Dublin competition going and the amount of people who just went oh the event's great and all but the glass is like the most sought after prizes in uh in order to make tell them I'll be outside the trailer in about six o'clock selling periods and for 20 or hour ago I can't I can't believe Derby's coming with this heat rust we've been talking for about 20 minutes already and he was like love the show thanks for having us it wouldn't be like him it wouldn't be like him but uh let's let's get into a cage Warriors Dublin um Tabby how excited are you to get get this fight now oh man it's just gonna be such a surreal night and just a whole weekend it's fight week now the hard walked on I'm just absolutely buzzing I'd love to fight tonight if I could to be honest with you yeah absolutely and uh obviously you're looking to write that wrong obviously the last fight didn't go your way it wasn't really a fight it was uh it was over yeah what to learn from that obviously it was short but what did you learn from that what chains have you made since then I was very emotionally invested in it in the ways and stuff and I just wanted to hit him as quick as I could instead of playing me normal again of keeping the distance and playing the game you know I just wanted to run out and hit him and I paid for a good car no look it happens it's happened loads of people before sure I have the Jose aloe and uh you know if you had a career like him in the end you wouldn't be too upset would you oh we take that yeah uh and then uh so I'll obviously you were Pro on Premier RFC uh how did the call from cage Warriors come about so um found out about it after the premiere um where Bobby told me from the premier FC fight like straight outdoors I think Constantine was meant to find five dollar in ball something came up and he couldn't make it so like I just took the opportunity as it came true so can't complain about that I think great like unbelievable chance to get some exposure out of it so therefore looking forward to it yeah Constantine's loss is a irrigated it's hard it's harder to go back to the Matchmaker saying this fell is pulled out but we have another fella here ready to rock yes exactly so like take advantage of boy opportunity.com they don't come too often sometimes this is a huge opportunity as well like you know what I was watching back UC Dublin last night and like obviously the one Conor headlines and like I was feeling this is going to be there's gonna be magic in the air come Saturday night uh cage Warriors 153 it's open live on UFC 40 pass drops yeah absolutely it is going to be an absolutely magical night like at the end of the day and this is a much bigger show than kators normally put on it's in a much bigger venue and this this is your chance of showing so uh I can't wait to see all the Irish athletes go out there and do the business basma it's a most go-to event uh Darby Solomon as well as now as the time to the progress do you guys have tickets available if people get on yeah and if you're buying tickets he owes more link not champions [Laughter] will there be a waterfront Army coming up nah for sure like I always have great support from them and the lads Link in my bio not James's not Diaries and sock but like yeah now I have a crew coming up and then like I think my mom might be coming up for the first one so looking forward to it for sure but like it's gonna be exciting my brothers girlfriend the old family's got showing up so like I have to put on a show for them now yes it's going to be a big crowd there let's be honest you know trailers the whole of the Irish crowd would be behind us you know we're against the English per se but I think the crowd is just like I said it's just going to be magical it's going to be one of them Knights has talked about for years to come no yeah absolutely um uh Solomon Sam told me he used the Arby's link to say no uh well Solomon obviously you're finding someone who's uh Darby's far before uh are you picking on spraying constantly and trying to get a help from how he handled that fight yeah like say it's sort of a fairly different style in regards like the wall David can get away with I won't be able to get away with the exact same thing and what would work for him might not work necessarily for me so boy I like got tips on the general idea of what he does and then again just been watching seeing a few other fights watch the dab before they go a few times and so I have a rough idea how he plays game what he does or what he likes to do and then I'm now just gonna Implement my own 10 in there use my own lens because I don't have like 10 forearms like Davido so I can't be jabbing someone from like 10 miles away [Music] and then Darby obviously you failed pocos before uh how do you think Saul matches up on this one I think so finishes it the end of the fourth round to be honest with you I just don't I just think his levels ahead no disrespected Dorian but adjusting Sullivan's levels ahead and I think he puts him away early enough to be honest with you and uh Derby what about on your end once you make of this toy talker what have you seen from him obviously he's a big guy you know he fights 84 as well I'm coming up to 77 the past couple of fights uh I feel like I've really filled out with the past six months for this is it good he's a good guy but I just think he's going to come on a command and wrestle and throw that overhand and I just have his number I think I put him away early late second to maybe tour around yeah well look I suppose that's uh that's the Adam Darby blueprint isn't it get him out of there in the later rounds use that gas tank that's the one yeah Darby what sort of atmosphere are you actually expecting because you're from Belfast as well and that was crazy like do you actually think it's going to be like even more mad in the tree Arena oh 100 like I just all the orders that are on it all the orders generally get behind any Irish fighter there's no other scores around the night speak the whole Irish crowd is going to be behind any for any Irish for you I think it's going to be pretty good to just walk out and be there it's going to be surreal like it's something you'll tell the kids about yeah it's it's just even the way they're promoting it they're getting like oh they're getting done already over to get Molly McCann like they're even promoting Mark Carter it's going to be there Russell has never seen a ref getting promoted but I mean it should be like a great night uh Solomon yourself like how many flight contracts are you have to get in with cage Warriors and then what do you take you can do in this division as well but so like this is just one fight content so I'm not excited to them necessarily and then like my thought process for myself but this year is I just want to try to get active as much as possible so if I get after this but I want to jump into whatever all the shows coming up because we're like and I like this go for your local shows then so even if I could get up to like Five Points next year and then next year then I'm looking there okay maybe I might settle down sign with someone and then start pushing down say Okay I want to start chasing that Bell chasing this person chasing that person but starting out this year I just want to get like get my reps in like if I get up to five fights up to four fights I'm a boss and then I could start settling in and be like okay I wanna stick to someone or but right now just one fight if you want to stay active make sure you get can't say active one thing I do want to touch on uh Solomon is obviously you train in team Rhino HQ I'm down in team right at Waterford what does that split look like um has a split changed uh since German Pro and So like um I'm working on Waterford so I'm in one of about uh three days a week and then I try to get up to HQ for the main training sessions like uh like I'll be there on Saturdays and then Monday and sometimes they come down Friday evening if I make it up in time well display is good like I think because get the heavy rounds and then like obviously on them with the team trainings with the 10 train and HQ and then I'm still getting like all my work technical work hard work all like little details down with Bobby and gas and Waterford so it's like a great balance because I'm getting to pick mines from so many people and then again with nail Siri and the open HQ as well there's so many people now to be like okay there are so many ways for me to look at the game and then I could start building my own system off of that if you know what I mean so now the spirit display is good and like it's I can't really act for much better like I'm getting a lot out of it and then the body everything is just working really well right now yeah Reds will be Deloitte that you didn't mentioned yeah and Neil's missing something red will be on oncomes at the event as well yeah he's not he's not down there he's still making a late petition or late charge so uh [Laughter] I love it we need to get the red bottom columns why not uh I haven't seen that uncomes man like I don't know I don't know I think I think this is this is a rare mistake from cage Warriors we need to get the red man on the comps he's brilliant at it so let's see if he can get him in there um Darby wants the Lord to have an extra body like Solomon Simon I'll put it up a train all the time now oh look it's got It's good to have that we have that little group now you know there's a good viewers spoke about before me James Graham sending Saul's probably it's just we have like a little click now we are trying to get her you know I wonder guys miss a session everyone's aren't in where are you William not training you know I'm not saying me and Solomon and James are fighting now the rest of the guys are there they're more done fighting who are there for the guys it's just really good it's coming together very nice I think it's actually hilarious yeah and look at it's not just it's not just there on the camera as well geez he lets you know if you're not a trainer in general um even even if all he was trying he says where have you been so uh yeah he lets everyone know but um tell us this do you think this is a new wave coming for a team Rhino uh Adam sort of James Sheen leading the charge yeah I think I think James wins this fight down when I think he calls for the toilet to be honest with you and I can see him getting the toilet shot I don't see how they can refuse my title shop with the window streak he's on to be honest with you yeah I agree uh we we sort of dumped that as number one Contender for you um earlier on last week and I think it has to be it just has to be um you know it's it's been a while since uh a cage Warriors belt Grace team Rhino series you think was the last uh cage Warriors Champion so it will be it'll be lovely to bring a belt back there uh with James at The X and JB we just great it's great balls when you know when everyone's winning especially for a build he can bring it down to team Rhino then you can catch that smoke when he walks in yeah yeah it's Darby first battle for the bad guy uh you're gonna get sacked here oh no I'm not going to the event Labs no I absolutely and Adam does this feel like it's gonna be the biggest for your career so far yeah yeah I think so yeah to be honest with you just the whole noity event I think it's the biggest one I fought on obviously I made me debut my amateur debut and three Arena um cage Warriors 81 I believe it was and that was a pretty surreal noise so I'm just picturing what this is going to be like yeah I know I think I think it's going to be annoying to be remembered and then Solomon obviously you haven't far in the big Arenas of the pro but you have a lot of IMF experience do you feel like that IMF experience can actually help you prepare for this so I know some people are against imaps some people are for eye Maps but you thought big Arenas with only maths do you think this will actually play in your favor on this occasion I don't know why anyone will be saying they're against it like because you're getting so much experience in there like and exactly what you said on the bigger stage where you have a lot of people watching you and then you're competing against so many different countries I don't know why that will be looked as a negative I get like the expenses of it but as a for career-wise it's definitely a positive and I think like all my amateur experience is really like stepped me up mentally in regards to like the pressure in regards to like the big shows or whatever it is I'm not really that stressed on it anymore because I understand so I understand now that in nearly all the same thing once you get into the cage like everything else just goes silent and you're just focusing on the person in front of you so and that's from those experience from there I mean you know from the imaps from the audio from the local shows and all that so definitely I think I've gained enough experience now to be like whatever show or whatever Arena no matter how big it is I'm just gonna walk in there and just look at the man in front of me and just go try put him away you know yeah definitely and one thing I will say is you literally fought all Commerce uh in your amateur career as well like it was you have a very impressive list of people who have gone on and I continue to do great things in sport so I I think you've definitely gone the right way about your own career that you have that extensive amateur record and it showed in your first pro fight so uh long may that continue long long Reign the king nickname [Laughter] well the plank they call me but I've tried it I've tried to find a bit of size to get rid of the nickname that's not happening either any suggestions to anyone in the comments hit me with some suggestions or else without no ideas yeah yeah maybe maybe we get a new nickname for the Army for this for you maybe he's against the plank you know all right all right guys you know absolutely yeah definitely [ __ ] Solomon how do you think this fight goes uh obviously Darby's expecting a late first round finish are you expecting something similar and do you feel like you know maybe he'll get it done on the feet or maybe they'll take it down to the ground obviously you can go anywhere but how do you envision it going yeah like uh they like the last fight like I was just like in there just saying I'm just gonna get the win and the easiest way really if I because like I said in my own if I get on top of you you can't really get me off and I'll just systematically work my way until like I take you out like just I want to take a little bit more risk on the feed just to like because I am very comfortable standing and on the ground so but I want I like I think standing wise would be a good way for me to like showcase myself this time and with Dorian I just like where it's past few fights I feel like he's going to come out wanting to try and make a statement which which only make it a lot easier for me to find a shop that I'll be looking for so if he comes in I expect that aggression for a few minutes maybe two three minutes on the side it's just going to be winging and then eventually he's just gonna gas himself out and I'm gonna get take him out like ending up the first like the episode so that's a good that's a good length there but if not but it either way is going out before the before the last bell ring so I like the first the first seems like that's that's the feeling I'm getting from this yeah little bang bro you're looking towards the end of the second maybe sometime in the third is there a particular sequence that you've been working on that you feel like he's gonna get the job done you don't have to give us what sequences there on camera he wants to ground and pound you hold you down tore up the wrist shots so it's going to be a tough Force round but let's see if he can take me there and you know it might to take the takedown effect is pretty good so let's even try to get him down good luck trying to get that guy down yeah let's see you there shout out to build the Khan keeping that that wrestling on point the OG yeah I'm just going into this one now like uh like this one's gonna be a big one like what sort of way have you been looking at this Camp just coming off the last fight everything for the past three four five months not that it never was but I'm in the gym morning if I'm not in team right now at night time I'm down on the DCA with Carly hitting pads but I'm not there I mean most of the morning Fitness they're gonna be strength and conditioning I try and make a guy called Ian Smith so I just I feel like I'm living in the gym I get home I'm out the door 20 minutes later again I'm gone again I go home I sleep that's all I'm feeding over the past six months so I think it'll show now on Saturday night oh that's great to hear and so what about yourself well just in the build up now it's for a week like what are you sort of looking at towards Saturday night like uh oh what do you mean sorry like what's the sort of yeah yeah what's the plan for the week where you sort of winding down the camp us mainly just yeah like now it's really just about focused on making the weight like uh I've done a lot throughout the Old Camp as well like um so like I have like in Kyon and Waterford he's been helping with my strength and conditions as well so Fitness wise I just feel unbelievable like recovery like after a few breaths I'm back to normal again I'm ready to like start sprinting again so it feels good for this week just start like getting rid of the curves like which I love so much but unfortunately uh start like trying to make the weight make a way and then now it's just half one on Saturday that's literally all that's like I have a lot left to proved like I've left or I've done all the work I need to do right now so just show up on that make the way show up on Saturday and just have fun maybe a few more topless cooking videos I would like that I love it Lads it's got to be an epic noise it's gonna be one to be there for all you can't wait to see is do the business uh bring home two wins for team
