void Academy Ireland special we've got Ryan chaos curlers and Carl McClurkin Lads how are we doing go into their cars to record two absolute Legends everyone [Laughter] Legends oh absolutely yeah Roy what's it been like for you ever since you took the move air from the Big Smoke up to Belfast unbelievable boys honestly it's yeah it's been it's been some Journey you know um the boys welcomed me in straight off the battles now like obviously the fourth corporate sessions was like it was this fella like obviously everybody are already knew who he was you know what I mean not many people out there Hill Down Sport you know yourself it was only a fourth couple of sessions and then the boys have to stay you know so yeah unbelievable the everybody in the gym honestly like obviously in Cleveland what really makes a difference is just the team morale and you know everybody trustive everybody just choices there for each other and Coyle tell us this you've obviously been ill for a while uh how excited are you to get back in there because it's been a while since we've seen it your head in there yeah I'm super excited like uh it's been almost three years now I was supposed to fade in September last year um and then the whole the whole time through the camp but it was having preloads and then on the day of the fight it actually got purple so it was a [ __ ] bollocks but um this one's definitely happening to uh I cannot with uh everything's wind really smooth so just can't [ __ ] with me and how much better is Tacoma circum from now versus the Colin McClurkin from three years ago uh times tan it's just like even watching back my last fight with Christian don't gonna take Slovenia or a reflection on hiking down like it's a cringe back boxing Fate To be honest uh so this one's gonna be gonna be special like I'm feeling very I've just the improvements have made everywhere so I cannot wait by the way when you say you're creating what is that because the first family absolutely dominated I just uh just at the performance to be honest I know we'll have there was a few factors going into that fate that really uh affected my performance I know sure but I know I know I'm so much better than how the fight ended but um yeah I've just I'm looking forward to showing the improvements I've made because I know this fight it's going to be so much different and in vrs whatever wherever the fight goes absolutely we can't we can't wait to see it as well uh one thing I want to put on what about you guys and I'll start with yourself because the body's in FYI obviously yeah it's from the welterweights in the middleweights uh their Kyle at the moment uh are absolutely fantastic and you're getting ready for a fight sent home as you know the wealth away Champions McKee what's that like getting ready with him it's absolutely it's money absolutely money every week within five five Mayhem party Sean McCormick and we're all just because we're same level same weight fighting around the same time it's just it's worked out really good um like I don't think I've ever had a camp really where we've all been fighting on the same card like this all this similar level um of Spawn Partners so we've been destroying each other every week and it's just made us all progressed you know what I mean so uh yeah it's been unbelievable to be honest the PS3 sets is just [ __ ] frightening so that does nothing but bring you on you know what I mean so being used to that every week there are five hardware for him it just gives you so much confidence gonna know yourself do you know what I mean because screwing him on to be doing five five books every week then I mean yes Skeletor is no joke and then obviously Ryan on the other end of the things Floyd's bantamweights in featherweights like there's some Elite Fighters there like what's it like work when all these guys on the mats just don't believe but then you know the thing that is free well I don't have this for you and then bounce out the gym for a couple of months local I'm straight back up on the Monday and everybody open this gym is loiter so when I come back on the Monday the boys will be all there ready to go again you know yeah it's definitely uh Stephanie on top gym um no doubt and that the work that Pat and um Chanda put in there is unbelievable stuff but uh tell us this we touched on her there earlier on obviously yeah everyone knows who you are you bring an army with you how many people are going to be in the three arena for chaos Curtis so what would you think age Warriors haven't been back they had to contact me and ask me you know what I mean what what's the story are we allowed in and that was a while back you know and then we couldn't come to an agreement about the percentage that I was getting so I would end up never happening and then they approached me again and I was like the numbers where Roy saw it was like right boys yeah come on in and get me tame on it as well so got a coil of God for you and all and Paddy McCarty and you know so got everybody sorted and then you know I'm getting the noise cut out the thing as well so yeah now it's a you know it's it's four eight minutes from my house everybody's you know everybody from around the area because we'll be obviously the main one who does the MMA around that area you know yeah and uh the whole like I said it's 40 minutes from my house the whole area comes when it went on there and you're saying that in Bellator at home yourself you know what I mean it's like when we when I get work out the whole roof comes off the place yeah yeah you're just staying there Ross we were there for Bellator when Ryan won and that was unbelievable just the crowd the atmosphere and everything we were surprised they didn't keep you on but we're fortunate to have you on cage Warriors now live in UFC Fight Pass yes 100 looking forward to my first time foreign not not partner it's just another show you know what I mean I'm big yield shows I won't be this my thing like oh I'm pointing on cage what do you know if you know pressure for me is a privilege that's why they'll say you know because there you know people some people crumble under the pressure you know but we feel like normal people They don't really get the feel good pressure like this you know and pressure it's heavy and all the pressure makes the women's so that's the way I feel about it isn't there no no a lion it's a lion sorry all right well geez you wouldn't want to meet low in Under Pressure either tell us this how much your purse you're gonna have to give to Rowan for letting you ever fight in the same cards I have something like that he's on my own the cardboard I'll be about him so he's well everybody out everybody's gonna leave after movie for you I have half a Belfast coming down don't you worry son and uh tell us this obviously yeah the middleweight division uh mixed stantons is Champ there at the moment it's wide open at the moment who knows who's going to fight him next looks like he's fighting on the next London card in July but uh do you want like a quick run for the title I I honestly feel like I just oh I need at the minute is just a wee bit of experiences and a better rank time but as far as like the guys fighting for the belts and stuff I 100 I know I can take them out like uh I feel very good three wins this year and then just see what the crack is at the start of next year but uh as far as watching the guys that are that are fighting for the battle they're just before I know I know I could take them clean out no problem I just don't uh I just need a better rank time to be honest a bit of experience but that's all they have on me to be honest um but no doubt no doubt I can take those guys and whoever whoever he was a starting Curry like they're both great Fighters but I could take them out no problem uh tell the sister you're looking forward to fighting Owen Williams yeah yeah yeah um I actually watched his last trade the other week um yeah it looks okay but I'm feeling well it's my Smack to be honest uh it's the truth like I'm prepared if it goes anywhere like three hard rounds I'm fully prepared for the three hard lines but I don't think it's gonna go there to be honest I think I'm gonna smash him in the first and that's how I see how I feel that's just so it's the best way to do isn't it doing one you don't get paid for overtime in this business no overtime in there you're amazing that's how much they have been I think like I'm fully prepared of the fake goals I know he's hard and durable so I'm fairly prefer prepared I suppose everybody Anthony started taking the shots exactly like toughs but for so long you know I mean I feel uh no I feel like I just I can't see it going too far to be honest I think I've gone through let's talk about what the atmosphere is going to be like well first of all right Ryan how many people you bringing to the arena I don't know to be honest because I'm actually happy or didn't get physical tickets this time because it was actually only saying that a boy is down in the gym like tickets and amongst tickets is the stress of the boy a million you know what I mean like civilians is what we call them normal people They don't understand that it's not acceptable to be texting people today the free or the day before the 45 tickets or the day after [Laughter] yeah it's yeah it's just a bit normal people They don't understand you know this like obviously and sometimes you can forgive it as well because the down the downfall so you don't know but it's just it's frustrating so I'm really really really happy I don't have to deal with the tickets this time now fairness me me girlfriend she usually uh does it for me anyway so you know we're down to around take the credit there but even still there's still some bits of stress because oh yeah you have to give your man 20 tickets and then she texts him and oh yeah around you need 16 ml do you know what I mean it's just it's a ball booster to be honest do you agree or I disagree oh yeah 100 and that's probably the worst part like well there's the pump mobile there look oh yes and then we call it the pop mobile 24 Karat silver that yolk oh yeah those win bonuses man so the thing is they're on wheelies because of all the money he has in the building oh I love it oh my God I caught it yes that is an absolute but I likes to do the credits to be honest like they're going in the last fight I forgot how much of a name I was contacting you on the day like speaking to seeing me the day before the fight are you fighting tomorrow and then an hour before supposed to fight me can you grab me two tickets and then like what the [ __ ] do you mean can I grab you two tickets I'm about to fade in all your [ __ ] mother cause [ __ ] like that even though you know what I mean on The Walking Dead before you oh no sure you know what I mean let me know like normal people They don't understand this you know what I mean it's like you know [ __ ] all I also don't remember anything yeah but yeah yeah awesome I'm sure the way he cooks the worst but like no no before that'd be more yeah oh my God stupid things they're gonna get a stupid response you know what I mean this is the number one [ __ ] Lads this is some crack if people are watching make sure I don't know that's what I honestly it's a special atmosphere that's not me talking pounding it's honestly yeah sure you're sort of saying that session just in Maryland that's not just you know that's not just that week it's that's every week you know even even Jerry hardest came up to do a little bit rusted right there he was saying he was asking me could he come up and whatever and he was saying like honestly the amount of bodies on the map and the atmosphere is just ridiculous you know when it comes and it comes from the top down the tail boy is Pat and Chand though you know anything that they are every single week like that just like I said it's to come from the top down the atmosphere is unbelievable there's no days where you're going in here like you know gown inside I'm a bit hard here you know it's people are coming for you and if you if you don't if you're not switched on in the session second uh in the session rather you know it's not the atmosphere makes it wake up you know because everybody's just buzzing everybody's there walking hard having a laugh as well you know which is important too you know but the status be flowing around the gym Paddy McCarthy doesn't got a second the shop it's been a problem before how did you use two phones it's my other phone and tell her to run down the road the him time in the middle of it they got his head that we have to give the cage conflict here in the shadow as well they'll be on Saturday the 29th uh unbelievable show yeah unbelievable stuff up there uh Lads just in the like in the build up to this what is it what is it can you tell us a bit more what it's like in the gym with Fai because like we watch it from the outside like I think the whole country has known them at the moment like the world champions like Reese's now headline the card what's this what is the void right now there because everyone has their eyes on Fai it's honestly I'm not um you know it's just unexplainable like this set like even that session there was just the atmosphere people nearly pay to watch a session in the gym genome because the atmospheres that's is that good I'm sure Ray's headquarters they are recording your little sayable even it's one thing saying on the camera but it's been there to witness it yeah yeah yeah all the guys like fly weird like weird metal weird every guy the the supper every Sunday spawn they're all wanting to be world champions like they're all trying to push for the same thing where a lot of other gems there's only maybe one or two guys like that and the rest are just kind of taking over whatever we're up there every week like you have to be on the ball or else you get your balls at them to the remains yeah there's just such high level guys so many high level guys and it's weird class now and they're all pushing towards the same thing so if you have three or four guys they're all trying to be world champion in your way classic You're Gonna Get Smoked if you're not on the ball so that's what drives everyone to be you know what I mean that's it you know you know if you take a couple of weeks off you're gonna go back and you're gonna get smashed for it for the gold Cooper session then it's it's not a nice feeling you know so that's why you can't really afford like like I'm a weirdo to be honest though you can't really sit in the house because you know I don't I'm not I'm not teal intense but I look because I like their own things with me family and stuff you know but at the same time it's always in the back of my head when I'm not in the gym they're in the gym and they're getting better than oh yeah you know and I'm trying out walk everybody and I did walk out with everybody that's that's the way we operate you know because that's where it all you get me Confidence from you know people look at me and say ah cocky cocky [ __ ] or whatever or you get me confidence you know I'm not I'm not confident from sitting on the couch all day scratching me balls you know what I mean I'm in the gym putting serious rounds in serious time and you know it's only gone up a million percent and so it came up the FAO as well you know because it's like everybody drags you to that level as well because you're like looking around and it's even more to prefer to take time off because I like Jesus they're not missing sessions I definitely can't can't afford it you know yeah yeah as well sorry are you loving it now at the moment as well yeah 100 you know even the lads up here they're like Jesus that's four hours a day because it's two hours up and then two hours back later some days gets me in one of the four sessions and then obviously with Pat's Patos are probably about on Tuesday and then does the class so we let you down go back to Dublin until half 11 and annoy ball look no one's making me the oldest you know what I mean we don't want they already download There's never going to be at home you know what I mean that's not the way more Ibrahim works and it's just like I will yeah leave it you know we're not we're not happy and halfway a million percent or I'm not the owner that's my attitude and that's my attitude for everything in life I'm calling what about yourself man are you are you planning on going on the road in cage whereas after this yeah I would like to um good one here something maybe in the summer the Dublin card at the end of the year and then that'll be um we'll have we'll have we'll have to rain again yeah yeah depending on what we do on this one we'll we'll go back and uh we'll talk about the business and we'll see what's happening yeah so get another get three wins this year and then bring it back to the Odyssey next year and have some big fat then um and then obviously some of the other guys the Pro's coming through from my gym they can all be on that card or whatever but that's the plan yeah get three good wins this year and then just just take it from there to be honest but I don't uh I just feel with me all I need is a better ringtone and experience but as far as scaling all that other stuff like I know I don't feel I'm far off the guys with a Belgium I mean an organ you know what I mean I know it's not so much that I need to take a few years to build my skills or whatever I have all the skills now I know that I just don't have the right time so get three good wins this year and then see what the crack is next year that's it sometimes if it you know you see people in the UFC and I'm big shows and and cage Warriors and you think that they want something that you're not you think that you know does this secret formula or whatever it doesn't it's not like you know you may overmware people who have the belts and he'll fall in the UFC he'll point in the UFC you know what I mean it just it's just resilience persistence and point in hard work you know everybody's ha everybody has had knockbacks you know you just need to be persistent everybody else is not we're all doing the same thing it just he wants and he doesn't you know he was well and they just here's a very true world that's it 100 puzzle I really love doing this podcast because I didn't have to attendance talking about so which they always knows me if you just want the viewers that's that's what needs you know what I mean people are tuning in to hear me talk yeah I thought they were shooting in for the glasses but I mean
