week and last weekend it it was action-packed but uh baso the big thing um going down this weekend is Netflix are entering the world of Combat Sports and they're bringing to us Mike toson versus Jake Paul ifo said to you in 2020 when Jake Paul was making videos with his brother d around doing diss tracks that Jake Paul was going to box Mike Tyson in 2025 on a scale of one to 100 how believable would you felt that would have been oh well there there is more like freak Show fights going on these days so um I actually don't know like like I'd be like asking like what weight because he's like more of a middleweight and like OB mik tys is a heavyweight but this fight is obviously okay well if if I told you Jake Paul has already beaten Nate Diaz Anderson Silva and tyon Woodley in a fight how believable would you said that would have been no you see I didn't I didn't think Jake actually had that in him I think I think when it was coming to the B Asar fight I actually sort of favored him and then better like in terms of boxing like obviously it's different may but like the names recognition he has on that is like absolutely frighten isn't it yeah he he do you know what In fairness to he is an absolute Trailblazer now and also what he's doing for boxing as well like like all these other organizations that started up member there's a misfit uh what's the one that was in the tree Arena uh UCC no no smaller no the one keer was on um Kingpin Kingpin yeah like all these like branched they're all like branched out from what Jay Paul's doing uh the way he's getting Manos Sano and Katy Taylor like a lot of a lot of like a like a lot of eyeballs like this fight is going to be in the AT&T Stadium in Texas 80,000 Ceder uh as I said live on Netflix free on Netflix on Friday night make sure to tune in even if you don't want to watch Mike Tyson against Jay Paul you do want to be watching ktie Taylor against Amanda Amanda serrrano 2 because the last time these two fought it was like one of the greatest fights I've ever seen it was definitely one of the greatest fights that was ever held in Bon Square guard yeah but it's going to be an absolutely insane night and it's going to be massive production going to be very interested to see like what the broadcast is like what the production is like um look I know they've done I think one or two random tennis matches and stuff before Netflix and but I'd be very interested to see how they fair with Combat Sports as well as that um I don't know if you know this B Monday Night Raw in 2025 is moving to Netflix now I don't know if it's actually gonna be on Mondays anymore but like uh they are moving to Netflix um so it's going to be very interesting to see I I I assume that's going to be live as well like they're obviously testing the waters and obviously just before you move on did you watch the Vince mcmah documentary on netlix yeah I did well I was sort of I thought it was deadly I was sort of watching under like false pretenses that like all the allegations were from the start as opposed to like at the very end they sort of added some footage in I thought it was very very interesting but I thought for me the start of the show was Hyman when he was like no Hulk Hogan I actually I actually found out at the same birthday as Hulk Hogan I'm older though yeah did have the bugs I'm actually older but we have the same date yeah and he he he has a better mustache but yeah brother yeah brother um yeah that he's documentary coming out soon as well that's gonna be epic just just to see how like I don't know what I don't know what the like indebted to the World of Wrestling Vince man sees himself like you I mean he puts wrestling over everything which is absolutely insane but uh like obviously he absolutely like changed wrestling forever and like he created so many massive opportunities for so many people like regardless what he he's he seems to be accused of doing in his personal life I mean like his his stamp that he's left on the wrestling industry will never be forgotten like you can't talk about professional wrestling without talking about Vince mcmah so um yeah Jesus it's a wild documentary he's uh got some delusional ideas but uh he is a very eccentric character and uh now I think Triple H runs the rest and side of the business now I don't I don't really follow rest like you see Clips the all time but like I don't actually follow the stories now I I don't think the actual performers these days are like they they're all sort of seemed the same whereas back in the day with like The Undertakers and everyone everyone it's they seem more yeah but I also feel like you can't really do a supernatural Powers character anymore because people like that's not real if that makes sense so like you sort of have to I think I think you just come up with a cat PHR now and if your cat phe catches fire well then like you're good to go I about that uzo guy and they're like they're like pumping around but I mean look if people enjoy it people enjoy it but like I mean you can't really beat the the entertainment that the U brings like when they bring this roll at the big stars as as well yeah like it's uh it's definitely it's definitely something that it seems harder to become the next Stone Cold type of thing as it was previously but um should look it is what it is but more so the point of the point of that conversation was what was the point Ross they are coming to Netflix now so be H and they are also owned by the same company TKO Holdings who own the UFC so be interesting to see would UFC consider some sort of prog Gast deal with uh Netflix forward or some sort of subscription partner will be interesting to see I know they have UFC fo pass already they have their own subscription service but it will be interesting to see whether Netflix would be interested in that maybe two Netflix pay-per-views a year something like that to kick off who knows I say that could definitely happen because you you'd obviously want the whole family under the One Umbrella yeah absolutely we we'll see we'll see what happens I think I know WWE like view Raw SmackDown and NXT as like different shows if that makes sense because they they're all on different networks which is smart to give like to be selling the same product as three different products definitely makes more money um but so you're saying so you're saying we could eventually be on Netflix as well that's that's it you're gonna get the end ofid Show on Netflix you better believe it h yeah but obviously just in terms of the actual boxing itself Katy Taylor manono to the first one was uh really close fight K Taylor getting her hand raised um look I expect her get a hand raised this time out again uh I think she is better than Manda Sano I think she's also stronger than Mand torano but uh fair play to torano for taking the fight and again like just groundbreaking stuff from Katy Taylor again like I'm sure and this is going to be one of the most attended boxing events of all time and she's going to be part of that history and she also adds quite a lot of legitimacy um to the Paul tysen fight by fighting on this card as well yeah I agree I'm uh anytime I watch Katy Taylor fight I get really nervous and like but like it's she's one of the few people who does that to me yeah it's but like it's a great feeling especially when she wins because you feel like you know her and like obviously we've been following her since her amateur days is winning golf for Ireland and for people that aren't from Ireland like if anyone wins gold in Olympics for Ireland they'd become like royalty in the country yeah but you feel like you're in the ring with her in some weird regard which is like doesn't happen with many so you're emotionally connected to the to the win or loss one way or the other no it's a great feeling yeah absolutely absolutely and tell me this buz Paul versus Tyson are you doubting Jake Paul anymore or do you think he's bitten off more than he can chew excuse the PA no do you know what like the thing is the way Jake Paul got a lot of hate when he first started doing this and people saying it wasn't really boxing and stuff but like we see white color boxing events go all over Ireland like people doing noice fights in MMA and and like who like maybe if there's videos back I was probably like I don't I don't know if I was really hating because like that wouldn't really be my agenda but PE people were were being like that's not real boxing because like he was getting massive views and some people who are way more experienced way like way better um at fighting were getting less attention so you can understand like the barness it's or like say if someone if if some big name started a podcast tomorrow and they got massive amount of views in around and like why would like you just have to accept it people have their audiences but uh he's like putting into the work and like anyone who puts the work into anything deserves what they get out of it so like we see people in the country grafting away like even the likes of Amy scoy who will get into later W winning gold uh for Ireland in the imas uh like I remember say about six months ago I shouted her out on the show being like if you want to watch someone who puts out great content and is a fighter it's Amy Scully and then like she's walking the walk talking the talk and uh creating the content to back it up she's creating uh world class content and is a world champion as well so that's great to see but uh no I think Jake's what Jake's doing is actually like you can't you can't doubt him like even what LO Logan Paul's doing in in WWE as well like he's abely killing it as well but uh no I think what he's doing is he's he's gone all in on it and if anyone's going all in on something like we're going all in on this and like we're doing this now nine years and uh look you have to just command him and he's he's taking big fights and know he lost to Tommy Fury but like I I don't think you can hate on the on the way he fought like Tyron Woodley World a former uh UFC world champion uh Nate Diaz um Ben asran um who else did he fight I know he lost to Tommy Fury but like Andre Sila Anderson Silva like I mean how can you hate on a guy who goes in and fights these people like I know yes they're not quote unquote boxers but like like would see me sign up to box them yeah they're they're not like absolute like SCH smokes like Anderson Silva fought a few boxing matches as well now uh with this one like look if Netflix are going to put something out there it has to be big and like nothing's bigger than Mike Tyson's name and then jakay Paul brings his own audience as well uh has Jake bitten off more than you can Che we will find out on Friday um I I think Mike Tyson will win this but um I I don't know what would happen if this fight goes beyond a few rounds like how much cardio does Tyson have in the tank because we've seen videos of him over the last couple of years he's I think he's 58 I'd have to double check that um like he he looks he wasn't looking great for a while he's looking a bit better now because obviously he's jumping into Camp here and like it's at it's at heavyweight it obviously fa Tyson more cuz like Jake doesn't look that great with all that weight on him so like how will Jake operate with that weight added on as well because even 10 pounds is a lot so um I just hope that this is like a legitimate fight that there's no nothing in a contract that you have to let Jake out get out round one round two I doubt that's going to happen but uh I just think Mike Tyson will win but I'm not sure how and the last thing I want to see is Jake knocking out Mike Tyson no no hate but just sort of like people look look at the fight then and be like why was this even a fight yeah you don't want that to be the last thing MTO ever remember for in a boxing ring yeah so yeah look I I think I'm gonna say Mike Toon's going to win as well I think the last time Jake Paul fought a boxer someone who like predominantly boxed was Tommy Fury and do I think Tommy Fury could lace up Mike Tyson's gloves absolutely not like I know Mike Tyson's obviously a lot older but like obviously that shot selection and that like in ring IQ I think Tyson's going to be too much from and I think tyon in the first two rounds gonna get the job done you see a lot of the the media has sort of been like Jake is going to win so I think that's getting put out there just so people will actually tune in because if everyone was like oh my Tyson's just going to dust them then people aren't really going to chew in but because people are saying oh J Paul's going to win they're like what am I actually have to watch this you know yeah the media agenda Russ the media agenda so we're basically saying we're basically saying you know you can throw it off after Katy's F because toys's definitely gonna win but I'm still gonna tune in no I have to watch both you have to like it's spectacle it's spectac yeah that's the thing that is the thing it is a spectacle so toys's won the goat or toys's won the goats you know I mean so like like regardless if he's past his prime obviously he's way past his prime but like you still have to watch that man like he's more C TV but then speaking of goats UFC 309 basma UFC 309 that is that's the thing Friday night Netflix Saturday night UFC live from the mecca Madison Square Garden Johnny Bones Jones fights the heavyweight go in steep aoic the winnner walking out the goat goat uh look I think um it's probably not the F people want to see I feel like more and more the fans are clamoring to see Jones versus aspel and do let me ask you this right do you think because meic hasn't fought since was it in ganu I think so yeah like that was think it's been four years like yeah like but if you think about now the the size of the UFC how much it's grown over the last four years I don't think a lot of people even know miic is like I was looking there miic is 42 hasn't fought in four years and like I think the way all media get hyped as well like a lot of the there's a lot of like uh UK shows that are like get Aspen on on pushing Aspen on a lot whereas like nobody is in Cleveland doing a doing a show promoting miic being like get him on um like I even saw miic was on Jake Paul's podcast and like that did nothing like that like they're actually like J Paul's actually from Cleveland as well but um I think I think it's just more people are just pushing Aspen because he's like he's obviously like a great lad he's cool crack and because Dana won't make that fight people are pushing it more you know yeah but like last time C fought was UFC 260 and UFC 261 was uh Usman massal too so like that just goes to show how like long ago that was like maal was fighting for the belt still like we've had Leon Edwards be Usman twice and then Bal Muhammad be Edwards since then so like it just goes to show how long it's been since cp's been in that cage and I just was this fight re originally on uh was this fight rearranged no I think I think it's just been like announced that that's the next fight but it was never given a date okay yeah um and look on top of that also like in that time like since St m last fight like look at what Tom aspal has done he has the record for the shortest time spent in in the Octagon like his his fights are lasting on average two minutes he has knocked down like every fighter he's ever fought uh I think he's got like something like eight of his last nine fights have been finished in the first round like this man is absolutely pulverizing people and people who like are scary like of pavlovic Curtis blades like he is absolutely going through these guys like he's having like seral Gan like turned down the fight to do a movie instead I haven't seen that movie so like obviously wasn't that good and like people are actually like don't want to fight tomasel and it looks like you can add Jon Jones to that list he I know Jon Jones said like oh well people thought Johnny Walker was going to beat me and look like that look how that's turned out and he said that like tomason hasn't reg garnered that much name recognition yet etc etc but like I think at the end of the day like may maybe should do this like do this DP fight but like that's fine well obviously it's happening like next week or this week so um it's obviously happening but just to like be disregarding any future fights with Tomas seems really really strange uhe way especially way he F like Anthony Smith and like Dominic Reyes yeah exactly you fought people who are have done way less way less aspal has in his career and then on top of that also like I do understand what he's saying that like the Pereira fight will be a bigger fight in terms of like stardom because I feel like Alex Pereira I think him and toor at the moment are the two like hottest Commodities the UFC have right now who top three right now probably those three Jones Toria and Pereira and then like aspal is probably not even far behind that himself I aspal I don't think he's as big in America yeah but I'm saying is like there yeah obviously it depends on what sort of Market you go to I feel like you can bring Pereira though to any Mark and the fans will love him H so like him and then obviously Jon Jones like just having that like go status is going to bring that hype PR is an easier fight for Jon Jones than Aspen is oh absolutely absolutely and I think it it would do more for his legacy as in Pereira double champ you know kickboxing world champion etc etc it would be more hyped to the fight even like the way he like stares down but I even think aspal versus Pereira is a mass fight in the future um like I could definitely see per moving up to heavyweight at some stage and trying to come triple champ status and I think someone like aspinal is actually like a good matchup for him someone who's willing to like trade on the feet at some St stage you know so like I think there's a nice little dance there to be played but it feels like Jon Jones might sail off into the sunset would a win here you think so yeah even if Pereira called him out I think so to be honest I think it's just GNA be what it's going to be like now still young though do I think in a year's time I think he's 37 now I think in a year's time like w like could he do one more fight against someone like a potentially so but like I feel like the time is also now I feel like he's ever going to fight Pereira I think he needs to fight him sooner rather than later because Pereira has a tough fight in anv next uh at light heavyweight and like he's not guaranteed to win that and no one's no but like that looks like it's going to be the next one yeah John Jones 37 yeah but pray is 37 as well yeah Bo he's much younger than the ma game in terms of doing that putting those rounds on the body but also I feel like um like no one's going to be like keep me Jones versus anv no nobody saying give me anv so look there you know smsy other interesting fights on the card you you never said who you thought win oh I think Jones's going to win I think I think Jones voice submission we training with Gordon Ry all the time as well it's hard to go against Jon Jones yeah I actually think Jon Jones will win actually quite handly if hon no offense DB um and then obviously Ola versus Chandler um looks like the winner of that might get a title shot at lightwe after Arman suin um what you make what you make of uh D Bas well they fought before didn't they yeah and chanler nearly knocked him out in the first round then Olivera came back and he finished him said I think I think you're in for like eight minutes of chaos one way or the other I think it's actually a fantastic homeade event yeah Cher's been out the the cage I about to say ring he's been out the cage waiting for Connor um like what has that done to his psyche um Charles Lia he's coming up for L and there he's already beaten Chandler I think you just have to favor oliviera in terms of what's happened recently like obviously oliviera went off and on the belt and I feel like he's still riding away of momentum or something at the moment I feel like he's a fan favorite yeah and I feel like Chandler I I know he like he's already been knocked out by this man like he's already like like you said he was training for McGregor for so long and that fight never happened just don't don't see he's also getting older as well like Chandler must be nearly 40 at this stage is he I look I'm looking at the ages here I was going to interrupt you as per usual Olivier is 35 Chandler's 38 yeah 38 it's like it's quite old that uh and heiz on his speed as well yeah so look I'm going to pick Olivier to get got the n on this one I think submission yeah I think submission this time I don't think people really enjoys the enjoy the shows when uh we agree on the same thing man you meant to stick to the script and say the opposite to me man sorry my bad my bad um you're very bad Elsewhere on on the card you have a bone nickel versus Paul Craig bone nickel very heavy favor um Chris Wyman is fighting Eric Anders and Chris Wyman has been very unsuccessful in his hometown but it'll be great to see him get the win Jim Miller keeps on setting records fighting again here on this card but someone we're all really looking forward to fight see fighting is the Welsh gangster Oban ellia baz how much has this man's star risen and do you think some stage of the future Oban Elliot and CM Punk will lift the World Heavyweight tag team titles I thought you were going to ask do I think you'd be in the WWE I was like yeah definitely um well I just did except but the to the toil like you're pushing it like will this guy be world champion um like the thing is obviously watching Oban from cage warries like some some of the fighters on cage Warriors have amazing personalities the likes your harck brothers who were actually at uh middlesbor football match there the weekend with both them with their world titles which was very cool to see River it is the Riverside um then uh no oh man like just what a character I remember we we met him numerous times uh just just so funny one of them people who just uh sort of says whatever comes to mind and uh he's almost like a bit of a free spirit um then the entertainment value the way he he actually he he play he plays the game uh like like a character as in very Triple H L like man there's been a lot of WWE talk in this thing but uh no Ju Just the way he knows the sport is not just a sport It's Entertainment as well like you need people to give a [ __ ] about your fights um he's arguably one of the most Pro like pushed Fighters that's gone from cage Wars to the UFC in recent times like he's getting more of a push than like Tom asol got when he first arrived yeah definitely he's definitely uh getting the right robes but he's defin created a lot of those opportunities himself yeah but who who would have got a bigger push than him recently that's gone from cage War to the USA what Patty Pim well Patty like pat patty is the big one I he's actually getting more I think he's actually getting more of a push than Ian Gary when Ian Gary first R I know he got a big one on the side but heart heart what what about okay going to all these WWE events like get oh no definitely yeah but like that's him making those moves you I mean so like he obviously has the TKO in and then he he can get like good eatting at these shows you know what I mean so like he's using it to his advantage and like obviously the WWE fan base and the ma fan base like there's a lot of inter TNS there like a lot of a lot of people would follow both so therefore why not include that fan base and then also set up a potential career for yourself after the fact he smashed it when he went to the aerial show and was talking about all the WWE fights and like his like what he knows about wrestling and that Ariel's fan base is a huge WWE crossover yeah but also like he you know him even posting pictures of himself or videos of himself backstage with CM Punk and Triple H you know mean like they're two of the biggest stars in the wrestling industry like you don't have to watch wrestling to know who those two are you know I mean so very very impressive and obviously CM Punk former UFC wealth away himself actually I actually forgot he fought in the UFC um do I think they become Tag Team Champions I'm here for it I'm here traj opens on I don't know what they could do with them but it people with the biggest personalities tend to get the biggest opportunities maybe we'll put out post and ask people do you think these two will be a successful H tag team and maybe we ask like what other two M Stars could see being a successful tag team that's a great question if anyone's listening right now let us know who would be a great tag team Lesnar and like Daniel Cormier they don't like each other so like that's not going to work yeah but you don't have to like someone to to do something with them yeah that's true that's true me you I hate I love I love to stick to the script man um yeah no oh on Elliot make sure like he's one of the first fights in the night so uh make sure to tune into that because uh you could cut a great promo and that's what that's what we love um Ross that's obviously on Saturday night is there any else you want to say about U UFC 39 this weekend uh no I think that was mainly it like I think it's like overall like it's uh I don't feel like it's as big a card as some of the other New York cards but obviously like it probably doesn't need to be when you have Jon Jones fighting on people are don't see Jon Jones and I think it's it could be wrong now but obviously JN Jones is from New York I think it's his first time fighting in New York so I actually think that means it's going to be his retirement party he wants to fight in New York before he before he hangs up the gloves do you think Donald Trump would be there sure why not man that's the president you voted for him man yeah I M my vote yeah I voted for Harris so that's why we don't get along anymore for people listen yeah but you thought you did that because you thought she was ready to Jare Harris look whoever comes into the show we're loyal to them till the day we die uh then uh look there's more there's more voice this weekend this this like the amount the scraps are going on this weekend Jesus uh cage Warriors 180 London that's on Friday night as well so that'll actually be on before the Katy Taylor and M the Katy Taylor fight on Netflix um there's actually two title fights on the card and there's going to be three Irish Representatives on the card as well um like every week make sure to check out our Instagram page every like we uh we promote the fighters and we put polls out asking which fight are people most interested in watching and obviously The Three Irish fights but I was thinking before we get into their fights I think arguably the biggest fight in the card is actually going to be in the lightweight division next Generations Adam Cen against too herel yeah well I think to me that looks like a number one Contender fight like it's gonna have massive VI on it both are like extremely aggressive in terms of their fighting styles I feel like it's going to finish with someone looking up at the canvas and you know staring at those bright lights I think uh this is going to be finished and I think I wouldn't be surprised if it finished early as well I think both guys come out for the finish and they're looking for that finish early in often so I think it's going to be extraordinary High pace and I think we're going to get a highlight ra from one the two Lads that's probably going to be on the feet the whole time as well very high possibility obviously Adam C has excellent uh Jiu-Jitsu so maybe his game plan might be to take it to the Take It to the Ground you don't know but uh those two guys B know have to finish on the fee exactly um then uh just jumping into the Irish part of this paty McCurry returns and he's taking on toy Palmer uh Ross Patty mcari in the middleweight division he was just on tough um he was on the show a few weeks ago H discussing tough if you want to go back and watch that make sure or listen to it make sure to check that out because that was good crack for there paty Ross it's good to see Patty back yeah absolutely look Patty mcari is one of my favorite fighters to watch um he has excellent hands throws in a few flying knees as well um got some unbelievable submission attacks um predominantly from his from from his back that we've seen um but look he's really really excited he's got some unbelievable finishes and he's just dangerous at all aspects of the fight I think he's a top level prospect that in two three four years time you know he's going to be in the top 15 of whatever division he's in whether he's in pfl or Bellator or whether he's in the UFC then um compound marshal arts is very own Emer Darcy is back taking on Daniela Sanchez at 132 catchweight bout yeah obviously emer's uh naturally a flyweight um she knock my laptop over there um she are you're just that excited that excited uh I was actually talking to her coach and coach was saying maybe she could make straw we it be interesting to see but uh look her hands have just been absolute Dynamite so far since she's turned the power ranks um she's finishing people like in the first round not a bother to her um she just looked a Touch Above the level of competition she's fought so far and I feel like she will be again she was sort of maybe later to start in her amateur career age wise um but she seems to have jumped straight in there she went straight in with some the best girls in the country like keran Etc and she's really held around and then some and I think she's definitely want to watch out for H it'll be interesting to see if U maybe we could see some of our ground game potentially um to see how that's evolved and see is she as dangerous on the on the floor as she is with her hands yeah um just before we get into the title fights uh another fight to keep an eye on is andex Alexander LOF against Wesley Maya Wesley Maya recently just defeated uh leis MC yeah and then Alexander L had AR like potentially one of the best fights cage Warriors had this year against Luke Roy like like that like go to UC Fight Pass and check out that fight it could be even on YouTube it's it's absolute crazy F that that was probably the fight of the Year wasn't it yeah ABS absolutely it was an absolutely insane fight um really really was uh L like knows how to bring it absolutely he is an absolute monster when it comes uh on the feet and his chin is tough as hell and also he he actually lost a split decision um to quadrian who fights for the bantamweight title in the in the main event um on the prize fighter on the last prize fighter for cage workers so like he he he was one Jorge away from fighting for the belt himself so uh he'll obviously be looking to write that wrong um fight for the belt and then obviously uh wesy Moyers well he he actually fought um in the prize fighter as well and he also uh I'm pretty sure lost the quadron in the semi-final of that night so uh the these guys are going to be out there to make a make a statement and try and get a toia then um we'll go into the co- Main Event Andy clamp is taking on tkf Legend James Webb for the L heavyweight title yeah obviously uh James Webb and team KF he was a former middleweight champion uh 10 wins seven finishes Andy clamp has 13 wins and 12 of those finishes are in the first round so Andy clamp is very very dangerous early on uh look I'm not gonna pick against James web that's that's where my loyalties lie but um he's gonna have to fight a near perfect fight to get the get the got the get the job done um obviously his training with u Tom aspal might see him moving up a few gears and up a few levels maybe he's picked up a few tips to get the job done early aka Tom ASP and see how that goes but uh what an absolute cracken Co Main Event yeah then in the main event for the bantamweight title Liam kittens is taking on sherzad quadri and Li kittens is also a nextg fighter uh Ross if what are you expecting from this fight I think it's going to be probably a 25 minute I think lie gens is as tough as they come and his fight against Rees mun was an absolute war and both men absolutely exhaust come the end of the fight um I think you know he is someone who really really brings a right up into the end like I feel like he he he's constantly looking for that finish still like obviously when you fought Hernandez you got a rear naked choke in the fifth round and you know it's hard to get those finishes later on the f especially in the fifth round so he he's dangerous right until he till he's out there obviously uh quadrin is after coming off when the prize fighter he got 50 Grand in the back pocket he is someone who uh funny enough I I just touched on it he obviously be uh Wesley moer and L in the same night so like that's nothing to be uh stumbled at but he actually also lost Damien moer or Wesley moer sorry not Daman wesy moer previously so G to be very interesting for you I think these are two of the best uh Bantam weights in the division and uh I'm looking forward to it I'm sure Max L will be watching with his eyes peeled from this weekend do you think with a win here kittens could get a chance i' fighting I know the contener series isn't on at the moment but maybe getting that UC call up potentially so I think for gens I think with the way of the landscape is working like obviously if UFC come back to the UK I think they're definitely going to be looking at sort of Liverpool or Manchester again hopefully they do a fight night here they can fight at like a normal time and look I think there's a high chance UFC Fight Night in Manchester Patty Pima headlines and Patty pima's headlin I feel like there'd be more PLL for him to get some nextg teammates on the card there's there's almost like too many UK fighters to get even get on these cards anymore yeah well I think that's I think that's why sometimes Yas have to do unfortunately some UK versus Ireland or some UK versus UK Fighters like you know what I think the fight to make will be cayin lran versus Liam gens at a UFC figh night Manchester especially considering the back and forth Patty and cayin had uh on the boss I think uh you know you have two of you know Liverpool's two premier gyes going toe to- toe and I think you know former cage Warriors bam way Champion versus current Cade Warrior panway Champion I think that is the fight to to make if lean get wins and get signed to the UFC that'll be very interesting like bit of CB bit of next gen beef and that definitely have a lot of people tuning in from this lot of scales are tuning in uh Ross just before we get into Sunday uh cage gladiators Irish m is back baby um over the weekend MMA corks Jack McGuire got the submission victory at octagon um first of all what did Jamaica the finish by Jack if you haven't seen the Finish check it out it's on our Instagram well but uh what did you make the Finish Ross yeah obviously he was eating some massive shots and he pulled off almost a hail Mar esque triangle got the I've done like it was uh it just goes to show how tough he was he was moved up I think two a classes to take this fight he he seems as game as hell H he's very unique character and like he's had social media he's deleted social media he looks miserable doing a press conference he doesn't want to uh seem to you know guys photo taking that guy you I mean he has he has no interest in the media side of the game but when it comes to that door lock and he gets in there and he fights he's as game as anything and I think you know what I think M May cork are probably underappreciated on this island I think they're probably own r as a gym I think they have some top talent H in the country and I think in two or three years time I think people are going to look at MMA Cork and go that's that's a great gy H obviously Brian manon's doing bits Jack McGuire's do bits um you know John Mitchell is originally from that gym Paul Bley from that gym you know I mean MMA cork has a has a a small But Mighty roster that's probably only grown and they probably have a shedload of uh hungry amateurs on the roise as well very well supported Club as well yeah very well supported very well and shout out to bario Kalan who seems to be doing great stuff uh with Alpha management down there in Cork yeah then uh after that fight um will flury it was announced that he is going to be fighting for the L heavyweight title um then when you posted the clip of uh the guys fighting I actually off the top of my head Carlos fola fola like he like they had a back and forth on the mic in the middle of the cage um I think that like it was good they got them got to go head tohe head as they as they announced that fight that's going to be on at near the end of the year I think they said the 29th of December that in prag so that should be interesting to see so uh we'll keep you up to date on that as well um Ross I know we twitched on it earlier Amy scoly world champion two time world champion um she's she's done it twice now um I do like that they have belts now I think that's cool and I think that I think it's a nice belt it's it's like a amateur version the like UFC belt if I was to call it anything uh look you looted this earlier Amy Scully is doing everything right from if you're looking to make the transition from amateur to Pro she is someone who you can follow the blueprint of she seems to be grafing all the time her attitude seems to be spot on her nutrition seem she put on spot on she's always in the gym um like I say she understands the social media aspect of a promoting herself she puts out great content day Vlogs even her like phrase is you know follow me on my journey to get better 1% every day you know what I mean like the fact that I know that's what she says now maybe it's slightly different it's not for but you know I mean the fact that I know like that's her her her like slogan 1% baby yeah 1% better every day baby uh you know what I mean like I suppose me and you already fans of her if that makes sense we already fans of what she's doing like I enjoy watching her content and I think she seems to have a really lovable and fous person ality uh she seems to be someone who is resoundingly loved across the MMA world I see you know people in her own gym shouting her out I saw shaa Bannon shouting her out you know what I mean she seems to be someone who is very very well liked and seems to be someone who's going to go very very far in the sport um I think I'm not too sure what age he is uh I think the only thing I hope for her is that she can sort of I know she's fight she won an adamite I hope she can be up and get the straw weight because it's notoriously hard to build your career as an Adam weight as opposed to building your career as a straw we is a much easier Fe the there's a lot more Avenues and doors open how can you forget the the haircat as well yeah the haircode is insane she has like a shaved head with like it's it's like a green and black football or something I don't know what way to describe it I hope she's not insulted by that but it's it's a very unique style that makes her stand out and look I think it's cool as hell and sues her personality to the max like she's a superstar she is like that's that's the thing she seems to be doing it all it's almost like don't like shaa M came up in the u s of that like this is like yeah but she stands there with I don't know there's something very wholesome about her you know what I mean like it's as if she's you know everyone's little sister that you're rooting for that's that's the only way I could describe it she seems like for being such a tough badass she like speaks so softly and so so nicely you and she just comes across even the few interviews I've seen her doing on imaf she's she looks so friendly to everyone over there yeah so look shout out to Amy scy two time world champion hope you're enjoying the balls and can't wait to see getting back to being better 1% yeah especially the way she beat she beat someone in the final who she previously lost to as well yeah exactly and I think she's only something like four or five and one officially as an amateur so like she's someone that uh might eventually start strugling to get fights she could be almost you know the female version of a Max L Type Thing where people like I don't fight that person I don't want to fight that person yeah Ross this weekend we as we just we alluded to it Sunday so you have cage Warriors and you have the boxing on Friday you have USC 309 on the Saturday and then on the Sunday cage gladiators makes his first appearance on Irish soil and it's how it's being hosted by H Danny core um Ross in the main event we have a professional fight between Jack core versus Mikey McCoy how much you to this event man yeah absolutely it's great to have another show on the island of Ireland uh look Jack Shaw is someone who um Jack core sorry did I say Jack Shaw Jack Shore Yeahs me yeah sorry Jack core is someone who grew up fighting he it's in his DNA it's part of his family his entire family fights all his brothers fight he is someone who uh really embodies the being of mixed martial arts and his father Danny who owns the Jim is an unsung hero of Irish M he's someone who really fights for the regulations within the sport and he's someone who fights for the betterment of Irish M so I think having someone like that run an event is absolutely brilliant and I I think you know Jack cor is someone who since turnning Pro he looks very very dangerous and when he beat Aaron Brogan uh at chaos before so uh he looks legal on the feet and now he fights Mike McCoy um in the main event of um PA Gladiators so look I'm looking forward to the show I think as we said great to have another Royal show on the isand and great to see the CORE family um putting on a spectacle for everyone to see yeah um there's also his brother emor is taking on Alex Muk Ross is there any other fight you are well you should tell the people to look out for on this card yeah well I think um the card across the board is always always very good to see but uh someone who I was uh really impressed with at auma was uh CJ Armstrong and CJ Armstrong looks really really good in LA in his last fight um obviously uh he's a light heavyweight as well which is something that uh we don't get to see too much of um at sort of in irand I think sort of middleweight is as big as sort of gets but he he won that I think by third round TKO so like that's something that I'm definitely looking forward to seeing and then um there's another man on the card who's fighting at heavyweight H called Matthew poor so I'm looking forward to seeing some big dogs get in there H he he's out of FAO so hopefully that voice are going ahead uh like I'm looking forward to seeing some big dogs we don't get to see a lot of big dogs in the amateur scene Bas no but uh another fight to look out for Kieran masy against Shay Mackin as well Ross that is Sunday so like we're going to be working overtime this week as per usual very typical um just looking at next week chaos Fighting Championship is back cage Warriors 181 Newcastle and Reese M Keys very on fight project is is going down as well that's next week and we'll be also recapping all the action from this week uh Ross massive news came out last Monday Conor McGregor was actually up in court on the Monday um one people were sort of asking us what do we think it is um myself and Ross we set up a energized MMA Group Well Combat Sports Group that we put stuff in there to keep people updated if You' like to be put in the group just send us a message and we'll add you in um at the moment we actually don't have any fighers in it it's just MMA fans and no offense to the fighters you know but um we were watching and we were sort of like I can't believe what is going on what we're hearing and then um I wanted to get more information on it so I saw Nicola talent's crime world uh started putting out podcast on it which is uh very insightful uh the four episodes deep at the moment and as it's the stories unraveled I've gotten more and more confused but more and more intrigued as what the [ __ ] is actually going on so um they're due back and court on Tuesday the show's coming out on Tuesday so they the nickol Talon podcast will be out then um I think the court is meant to be running for two weeks straight and then once we hear all um we'll give like our full synopsis on the issue at hand yeah I think it's uh obviously a very sensitive issue um we don't have all the details details going play Court yeah we weren't there by the way I know people thought we were there drinking for or St but we weren not there uh no we definitely weren't and look it was a obviously a very serious issue and look it's going to be played out and jury will make a decision on it and we'll just have to see how things play because uh it's obviously very serious allegations and you know it's not to be messed with so yeah and one thing as well for people listening like the Irish MMA scene and the Irish combat sport scene is bigger than one person as well and um the unfortunate issue is say if Connor does something it goes all over the papers and then everyone gets the backlash off it whereas like I've been speaking to people about it that that never like would never be really interested in Combat Sports but like look look at the lik your Amy scy there like there's people like that like look at like sha Aban in the UFC like there's there's so many people in this community um that uh make it very special from every gym obviously we can name in like load like thousands of people but uh there is more to the sport than just Conor McGregor's name like uh and there's more and more people coming and doing great and fantastic things and uh that's why we love being part of this obviously we got more into the sport because of what Connor did back in the day when like he blew the roof off the tree Arena but times change and we Chang we're doing this nine years now and we expect to do another nine years that's if Ross can keep up with me you know quite fast these days but uh look we love this community and um we appreciate all the support and
