[Music] [Applause] [Music] all right everyone Jake gilin um here at I Fighting Championship um first of all congratulations thank you um you know you know what's funny is uh like I was watching and I was kind of recording a little bit and like he was like halfway through the first round I'm like oh [ __ ] this is an this isn't an MMA match yeah um it just like idiot on my part said I couldn't didn't even notice uh it was the gloves the gloves should have gave it away to begin with but yeah um so you're normally an MMA fighter correct is this your first K1 I've had one before it was with shinguards actually it was a bit different but how'd you find it without shinguards well the M with so I was used to it but it was it was a good fight off to the third round I got [ __ ] battered well you know um you seem to kind of control the first two rounds you you seem to be the dominant player in there um what was that like it was good the cardio just wasn't there obviously cuz I took it on like three or four days notice I was here just the corner my team was fighting earlier okay and then he a SAU to step in so said why not right on good on you for for stepping up and doing that um so like said that those first two rounds you you were you pretty you're pretty dominent in those two rounds like you're throwing heavy hands um and you seem to to me at least like I'm I'm not the most skilled in K1 or I'm not uh I'm not most familiar with K1 but you seem to be very comfortable in there especially like you were getting in the clinch you just instantly putting your hands down protect those KN protect from those knees was that did that just kind of come naturally or did you have to like really think about that uh no I didn't think too much about it just just trying not to get H anymore they took it out of my body big time yeah all them kicks but no I'd be more of a striker in MMA so okay pretty comfortable on the feet and then like the T N I'll take out all day yeah he I saw a good couple uppercuts from you uh there's one really nice one that I hope Nikki got a a shot of um in the third round when he start he started throwing some heavy kicks was that like I saw the tables kind of turned a bit was that just you know you were just a bit tired there tired just his kicks he just took it out of me well all the shots and obviously mardio wasn't where it needed to be because it was so short notice but I survived third round that was more he's he's a bit taller than you too he's he's longer he's got quite long arms did you find that to be a bit of a challenge or yeah not so much see I I would normally fight at 70 and that was at 80 day obvious it was short notice it was a bit bigger than me but got got around it all right until a gas obviously yeah well uh he he definitely had kind of had that uh Second one coming in that last round there and he was just definitely leaving it all in there um he took some pretty good uh blows to the body there and the the orange forms how how's the how's the arm feeling oh yeah you can be a bit you can be bruised up yeah more yeah um so like what's next for you do do you uh hopefully back here February yeah and a pro deut I'm hoping anyway I'm hoping well that's the plan so we'll just see what AI can AR do you have someone in mind that you want to fight for your pro deut don't even I wish I was more prepared but I don't no then not even be the end right here was probably the worst part of the night the [ __ ] that's not me who who interviewed and the kid oh okay okay we on yeah look they're tough uh and half the time I get uh Tongue Tied as well I forget what I'm saying and not much of a talk St no look it's cool um like said I appreciate your time congratulations on your fight um you know I hope to see you again hope to see you in February for the next one and uh again I I hope you have a successful Pro view as well um so with that like I said thank you very much oh [Music]
